How this blog works now

Submit an image of a low poly animal and let me know where it's from and I will post it to this blog as soon as reasonbly possible (a day or two)! You can also request specific models from certain media by sending me an ask, just tell me the name of the creature and where it's from and I'll do my best to find it!

How this differs from before

If you are a beloved frequenter of this blog, you may remember that I used to run this blog posting submissions in chronological order and submissions were always open. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of submissions, it took a long time from submission date to posting date and thus led to a huge backlog of submissions that evenutally became unmanageable :( To get the blog running smoothly again and to make managing it easier for me, I have had to park the backlog for now. I will clear the backlog eventually but it's going to take some time!

From now on I will be prioritising immediate submissions in order to keep wait times down. If you have submitted a post in the last 18 months and it has not been featured, please feel free to submit it again in order for it to be posted sooner. I will also open and close submissions as needed in order to stay on top.

As always, thank you all for making this blog such a joy to run. I will do my best to keep it going for as long as possible for us all to enjoy!

You know I used to think "tumblr's absolute refusal to actually engage with the Trolley Problem in favor of insisting that there must be a third, morally pure option that doesn't require them to make a hard decision and anyone who asks them to make a binary choice is just a short-sighted idiot is really fucking annoying, but I guess it's not actually doing any harm".

does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.
