I haven't read your HP fics but now I'm thinking... how would you fix it? Like would you toss shisui in there?
Hmm.... Well, tbh, if I was gonna fix HP I would (tear that evil author limb from limb and rip out all the discrimination and bullshit-) consider several routes and, no, they're not all Shisui-shaped lol
Harry fixes it. I'm actually someone who loves the main character. It's like Percy Jackson, I love the OG protag and I love seeing them tear off a few heads as they go. World building, canon divergence, that addictive blend of non-magical 90s culture with magical paganism... Yes please (now you're making me long for my Thresholds fic, where Time Travelling Luna raises Harry 🥹)
Bill fixes it. I would write this so hard. He's a curse breaker, what the fuck does that entail, what's it like working for Gringotts (please tell me he has diplomatic immunity, please) and why the hell didn't the order/Sirius hire his ass to gut Grimmauld. He would've found that locket so fast. In fact, he meets Harry pre-World Cup and is immediately like 'hey you have rancid vibes, kid, might wanna fix that'. Like c'mon. Also what the fuck does Fleur do, what is her job? I wanna say an Enchantress, cuz c'mon. Where are my coworkers to friends to lovers Fics about these two sexy badasses (Bill is immune to her allure, mainly practice and willpower, and he's trying to be professional and not be a dickhead to this gorgeous and talented woman who has been sexualized and objectified her whole life WHILST fleur thinks Bill is straight up gay/not interested because even respectful guys slipped up at some point so she's trying to just get over that horrible shock that the one time she wants her allure to really work it is flopping, all this on top of moving to a new country and trying to prove herself at work and perfect her English... CMON 😫)
you asked about Shisui, I didn't do this! So Shisui... I'm going to split into subcategories...
the classic 'reborn' shtick. You gotta make him a Black, you gotta c'mon. Sirius's playboy-era whoops son? Eighteen-year-old Regulus had a 'im gonna fucking die' one night stand before his death? Who knows, not me because this is off the top of my head lol. Is he attending Hogwarts at the same time as harry? Sure, he'd be in Hufflepuff which is probably the only reason the whole school hasn't like stoned him for being who he is (🙃). Just for fun I would also ship him with Harry because, well, I love the world building around how Potters love. Shisui deserves that. Harry also deserves Shisui's brand of terrifyingly loyal devotion. Damn it to fucking hell, now I ship it and you just KNOW there's no Fics out there for this 🤡🤡🤡
Shisui, blind, wakes up at some point in HP canon. Maybe Harry finds him at the bottom of the lake when he's diving for the sword (seen some stuff about him and Regulus in the cave too), maybe he does that old classic 'dramatic crash-land in the middle of dinner at the great hall' trope, idk??? This one is super messy tho because the story gets tripped up by lots of stuff; Shisui angst about being here and not back in Narutoverse, why would Shisui (an emancipated assassin) stick around at a school in Scotland where he literally popped out of thin air instead of exploring the world etc, Shisui needing to acclimatise Shinobi to magical etc etc....
Shisui reincarnation into an actual canon character. Again, don't really like this as much as the first because, well, who's it gonna be? Regulus? That's neat but what about Harry's school years specifically? I think Shisui would make a very cool Blaise Zabini, whether from birth or not, because 1) black widow mother is both endeared and pleasantly surprised by son's support and 2) cool three-way culture clash between shinobi-"Japanese" & UK magical & Italian magical. Also I like fanon Blaise.
What else? Idk, like I said earlier this is all off the top of my head so enjoy, Anon! ✨
...But dammit now I ship Shisui/Harry why 🤡

I really should have gone to sleep, but, I regret to inform you, the Fallout show is really fucking good. Ironic as hell to have it on the Vault Tec channel.
There are callouts and references from New Vegas and the Commonwealth. There's not exactly easter eggs, they're the bedrock of the plot. Fallout logic applies. Every conceit that has to explain why the nonsense of Fallout exists is an integral part of the story flow in the show. Better done than in FO4, tbh!
Familiarity with the games will for sure give you lots of background information on who's who and what they're doing. That was cool I thought. I couldn't help but wonder if any of the artists got any kind of remuneration at all for having their work copied down to the millimeter. They said that Bethesda was "in the room" on art direction and stuff but I don't know what that means, really. I stopped thinking of any of those companies as anything but little Vault Tecs themselves years ago.
On reddit people's complaints are all highly logical - fucking triflers. This is Fallout. "Why didn't they XYZ? How did the dwellers know about ABC?" if it made a whole bunch of sense it wouldn't be a Todd Howard story. But yeah visually thematically and textually it is Fallout, to a T. I'm actually annoyed at how fucking entertained I was. Todd Howard will be insufferable forever after this, and assume all his ideas are good. Psh.
random spoilery theories and observations:
That first ep was frustrating in that my Vault dwellers would've eaten those bullshit raiders up in seconds. Scars? Tattoos???? oh no no. Instant chunks. My vault is no-nonsense. If any of them had made it past that first security checkpoint, it would've just been to get gaussed into several pieces by Ethel or mowed down by Big Dave's minigun. Anyway.
I also kept wishing someone would scrap. Not fight: pick stuff up. It just kept occurring to me because everything was so exactly game-perfect in appearance. That's 2 Steel and an Adhesive, Lucy! cmon grab it for your backpack! Get that machete!!! free machete! 1 Copper in every bulb on that crate, move it into a safe container! until nobody turns red in your reticle! Get with it!
When Lucy talks Maximus into their alliance and they do the warrior's handshake, the Battle Hymn of the Republic played loud in the score out of nowhere, never to return in season 1. Is Max going to found the Minutemen? I don't really know the timeline well enough to know how that fits together - but it sure was emphatic.
The Ghoul is a crit banker! Ha! Lucy seems to have Chem Resistant, Maximus is climbing the Power Armor tree… nice. LOVED how other-Dogmeat used the right tactics on the Gulper, they have that same weakness in Far Harbor, sensitive lil arms, tag'em for instant stagger.
I was glad they held back on directly showing Deathclaws yet, but set up the promise of them for the future, giving exposition for those who didn't bother to read terminal entries on their playthroughs.
I was thinking that the Vault 31 mystery was going to reveal synths, but it went more to the plot lines that you find in the environmental storytelling - Vault Tec's nefarious technocratic scheme that you piece together from terminal entries on side quests. Interesting. Is the Enclave a BOS thing? I never played a fash character & I can't take orders so I don't know that quest tree too well.
I loved that all the armor pieces were game standards, made it super easy to figure out who was who in battle scenes. I would definitely be a Leather Right Shoulder guy. Some like the Sack Hood with Hoses / Metal Chest Piece thing; I get that. It works. Personally I would not go with the red eye shadow because everyone would assume I was a cannibal but you do you.
New Vegas is up next! There's no way this doesn't get its three seasons at least.

for each twig season
name 1 character you would've wanted to not die. (non-determinant deaths)
1 character you think would've been better in a different season.
1 character you think was written to perfection.
Twig 😭 autocorrect killin us
(SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO DIDNT PLAY)
1: Uhh for the first, probably Omid(dont wanna say the obvious), I can imagine he'd be a good help in season 2 (i get for plot reasons he got popped but cmon now), say he either escapes with clem or goes to save christa. If he's with clem, i guarantee its much easier + he knows kenny a bit, so maybe itd be less hectic with the reunion. Or Chuck, he was such a real one and he just dies :/ For the second, Uncle Pete. Level-headed, keeping the group more in check. Actually likes clementine off rip. For the third, Mariana. For similar reasons, as she'd play peacemaker and (hopefully) be capable in the fights, also keep the family kinda together. The non-determinant deaths are a bit slacky in this season anyways. For the fourth, I'm not too sure. There's only a few non-determinants. Marlon I think was too far gone, and keep him prisoner may or may not help. Brody wasnt bad, but her anxiety and paranoia, while understandable, wasnt helping especially with the air surrounding the events of a year ago. Mitch, as much of a dick as he was, had some kinda balls, and with some sort of combat experience, mightve been able to at least fend off lilly. His bomb idea also helps most of the group.
2: i feel like every character kinda fits the seasons they were in, sure some could fit in multiple, but i dont know about switching one to another.
3: Javier Garcia. YES he only gets a season, but they did really well with him. From a reject who lost it all and turned back to his family after being absent, to a man of morals, family, and survival. From the start where he desperately runs to the house and gets berated, up until the point where he accepts the responsibility of being Richmond's leader, he's as well written as any other.

Okay so here's my little rant on The Archives whilst tryna recover from art block
-Boy, if Bendy actually made a little more noise or even talked a little that would've been adorable! I get how it could've taken away from the experience but you're only around him for a little while! Why not make it even more memorable? He's still cute tho
-The Projectionist and Boris don't even have an appearance here (and yes ik there's a part about batds in Tom's archive but cmon)
-Sorry?? We were robbed of more Sammy content than just him getting shot, in place of killing Amok and finding a fish like excuse me??
-I found both Alice's cool, even if one doesn't show up for that long and the other dies too soon.
-My boy. Big Steve. He's perfect.
-I love that Betty was English and wasn't a villain, sure she wasn't in much but at least she gets a side quest.
-The king widow fight was pretty cool imo even if it didn't have much plot relevance.
-Love the keepers for being terrifying, hate them for being heartless. 10/10
-Sorry but why did they try to give Joey a redemption arc in batdr???
Ik any point I make has already been said before but the guy freaking killed people! It makes a point to say that he did terrible things! And when Joey dies it's framed as a heartbreaking thing like???
-It's a shame that they kinda missed the mark on Wilson as a character, he could've been a better villain. Yeah he's creepy but by the end he just seems like a brat who didn't like his dad.
-Okay but I loved the reveal of Henry. He's just this little tired man and he's so- oh wait they say he isn't even real. Great. Then what's with the newspaper article in Batim saying he's dead? He's still cool tho
-one last note: the updates to the visuals are insane. The character designs were incredible, I can't put into words how beautiful not only they are but the environments and music too. It's stellar.
This isn't me saying I hate the game by any means. The franchise is one of my favourite video game series and I've been a fan since chapter one. Yes, I found batdr amazing and I loved the experience, but this won't stop me from finding a few of the reveals in the game a bit annoying.
And this also won't stop be from depicting Joey as a huge bitch, which I'm totally going to do soon.
Anyways if you got this far, thank you for reading my little tangent!
(also if you have any suggestions for what I should draw next just ask me, I've rammed face first into the art block so it'd be much appreciated)

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 was um... Well it was something I'll give them that. Spoilers warning.
I felt like all the Umbrellas became really annoying like they just become the worst versions of themselves. Luther feels like he got dumber or poorer at making decisions, Five got more egocentric, Klaus even more irresponsible. Also speaking of that, the amount of stupidity that they display is astounding. Like they kept asking Ben stuff that only their own Ben would know and expects him to get it, well of course he's gonna be mad. They also kinda provoked the Sparrows into the first fight by saying stuff like this was their house and whatever as if they don't understand that changing stuff in the pass changes things in the future. Don't get me started on how Allison still expected to find Claire and even how she managed to get in to Patrick's house in the first place. The cherry on top was also her downward spiral to villainy (yes, even as an Allison fan in the previous seasons, one has to admit that she is the Villain now and I'm guessing also the villain for season 4). She became extremely unlikeable. Not to mention *that* horrific moment.
Also the Sparrows were such a wasted potential. They were hyped up only to have half die off by episode 5 or 6. I don't get why people like Sloane so much. She's the most generic 'nice girl next door' with a Juliette complex ever. Her personality is mostly just being nice. At least she's really smart. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate her, I just don't live for her. And I find her and Luther's love story to be extremely rushed and two dimensional. But hey at least it's not as problematic or toxic as Allison and Luther. Jayme and Alphonso have cool concepts, but they also had problems. Idk if it's the acting but Jayme feels so robotic in any scenes that are not fight scenes. Alphonso is also pretty unlikable and his powers are inconsistent (but was never explained in the show why it's not consistent so it just makes it seem like plot armor). Marcus is... I don't even know what to do with this one since he got like 17 seconds of screen time. The only ones I actually like is Fei. She actually has a distinct personality; cold, calculating, smart, but underneath that veneer, someone who cares about her siblings. Also Christopher was alright, but cmon people, let's be real. He was a floating cube with no dialogues who got barely any screen time.
On top of that, I feel like most of the conflict in the series could easily be resolved by simply talking to each other. If Five told the family his plan, most of the fights would've never happened. Now don't get me wrong, I love me some dysfunctional family dynamics and I get that years of childhood trauma leaves a significant impact on your adult character, but it's been 3 seasons, at some point they gotta show some progress to character development. Why are they still so bad at communicating after 2 apocalypses?? Here they kinda feel like their Season 1 selves, slightly better or worst at that.
I love this series and I want to love this season but I just have so many gripes with it, well mostly just the annoying character regressions and a couple of 'this happened because it needed to happen don't ask questions' moments. Viktor Hargreaves being trans is like the least of the season's problem (also I don't get why people keep saying that the show makes a big deal of Viktor's transitioning when it was literally covered in like a couple minutes of dialogue). In fact Viktor's character is, dare I say, one of the ones that I actually like. He became reasonable but still compassionate. A perfect contrast to Allison's arc.
The season's not all bad. I think there were some touching moments and the Sparrows, as much of a disappointment they are, had awesome powers. Glad to know Reggie's motives and why he build the hotel etc. Idk I have mixed feelings about this season. Hopefully season 4 would be better.
Edit I can't believe I forgot arguably the best highlight of the season; the footloose dance sequence 👁👄👁
TL;DR season 3 was definitely *something*

OMG I’m sorry but seeing that people are bringing up the France floor upgrades again is so enraging because I knew there had to be more to the story of Charles' dnf!!! There is absolutely no way that both Toto and Christian would look so doubtful of that being fully a mistake on Charles' part otherwise. Like these two were both fiercely defending Charles when asked about his crash and even Horner was like "there's more to it, I don't think it could have been fully on him". Charles being Charles, he took all the blame which is what people went woth, but, my god, it feels so good to have been right.
Sidenote, I'm not saying Charles is perfect or had no role in that dnf, but France was strange and there is no way that was fully on him colossally messing up. When the man who literally goes into way too much over-explaining cannot explain a snap of steering, there is absolutely more to the story.
if i remember correctly charles said on the team radio that he couldn't find throttle and that's obviously something the driver can't control. it has to be the car. i only started watching f1 this year and i know all the stories of the previous year but i obviously can't know how people reacted to it at that time so idk about that but knowing them, they would've probably blamed charles. however, i do know that both toto and christian defended charles which is something because why would a tp defend a driver of the rival team. they usually dodge the question or say something along the lines of "we don't really know what happened there" or wtv. and we all know charles- the first thing he says on the team radio is "cmon charles" or "im stupid" or "im sorry". hes so self critical. and you're absolutely right, for the so called most successful f1 team, ferrari is a circus. i mean i can't believe that when the car is sent to maranello for improvement or whatever, the aerodynamicists and the suspension engineers are playing the blame game instead of actually doing something. this is unbelievable.

what confuses me is why is tae, a very private person decided to date jennie, a girl who is sloppy hfjdhdh she’s always getting caught TAE CMON i thought he values his privacy and safety but ig not so much :/
Blackpink do not have it as bad as other female idols do, and partly it's because they've achieved fame and wealth so early in their careers, and it shows in the way they go about life, too. Jennie is not sloppy imo, she's just a regular celebrity who's never had to uphold an image of wholesomeness or purity or perfection for her fandom the way BTS do. So she's always allowed herself to just be, live the regular life of a 20yearold pretty girl with money and a cool job. I think that's what Taehyung wants for himself, too.
BTS are safe because hybe has that deal with dispatch, who were the ones that outed Jennie's previous relationships. If they weren't protected by business deals, BTS would've probably been "caught" and been seen as "sloppy" years ago.
I would've never thought of describing Taehyung as "private" LOL, not in the way you mean it. I actually believe all of BTS are really private, but in their different ways. And in all of those different standards to privacy, Taehyung is actually showy about his possessions, and about his celebrity friends. I said lots of months ago that Taehyung is probably the member with the least to hide. He comes across as someone who has no reason to hide anything.
I mean, I guess it depends on what you consider privacy? If we say being private is being private about your house, then Taehyung is definitely not it because he has no problem showing his place, while other BTS members like yoongi or Jimin or Jin have never showed their apartments.
In the case of the photos, if he'd never posted photos from his apartment, nobody would've known that was his place.
Just this year he filmed a whole reality tv show with his friends, he wanted the whole world to watch him and his friends being buddies; you don't think he would want to show the woman he's in love with? A guy who's talked so many times about wanting a wife, a family, and to be a good dad, someone who clearly values romantic companionship, I think he would be proud of that.
The privacy talk is a bit like going around in circles to me, and frankly there are worse things to worry about. There's also nothing compromising about those photos, it's just two mirror selfies the way any pair of friends would take and post. If they were naked or if it was an intimate scene I guess then in that case the privacy talk would be very much needed and it would be something to fight back against. Yesterday or so, people were posting photos of Jimin from his friend's Instagram, and everyone was sharing it and asking where did you get it, when was this. Nobody was screaming about privacy. I don't think either his privacy was invaded, people shouldn't have bothered his friend but the photo was public. On the other hand, leaking government papers with his social security number and address detailed, now that's a breach of privacy. Funny how Taehyung stans and taekookers were rolling on the floor laughing at that, but seeing Taehyung smiling next to a woman should be punished by law.
Speaking of friends, my question is.. would there be so much talk of privacy if it was a leaked photo of Taehyung with Bogum or Wooshik or any BTS member? Or would army and everyone be sharing it and going all aw cute uwu or whatever is it they say?
Not to mention that those photos were posted somewhere before someone else for them. Everyone knows you don't post secrets on internet. They've both been idols for 8+ years, they know what should go online and what shouldn't. If any of them posted that somewhere, I don't think they believe it to be sensitive content.
I don't even think jikooks photos in the restaurant on March is a breach of privacy. Funny enough, I've seen jikookers not wanting to share that photo but sharing the ones of them in London 2019 🤣 when both of them were taken without their consent. But in the imagination, the March photo has taken a different meaning because it was white day. They believe there's something more private and secret of that one in because it was white day lmfao. Both photos were taken in a restaurant, in public, in both photos there are other people with them. They're so similar. But the context shippers have created around the photos make all the difference and why that one from March is "ooh so private".
It's very similar to what's happening with the taennie photos. There's a universally acknowledged context behind a photo of a man and a woman standing very close to each other, seemingly alone in an apartment. But if it was some other dude nobody would've even thought about Taehyung's privacy.

Axelleee😭 i just can't with people saying that this show was realistic and that's how life is in the twenties, like!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY MORE THINGS ARE REALISTIC AND HONEST TO LIFE IN THE TWENTIES??
1) changing majors: they could've elaborated on that journey instead of it being just a throwaway obstacle in 1 episode.
2) the ins and outs of the acting industry: Oh-Aew being called "girly" was just...there? And then never really addressed?
3) coming out? They're in a LGBTQIA+ relationship, like cmon. It was such a big issue in pt1 and now it's just vanished? Okay bro.
4) COMING OUT WHEN TEH WAS FAMOUS!! imagine if we could've seen what happened after he posted on IG. If dealing with fans and stuff could've been the main plot. :(
5) them just growing up, and falling out of love. And then reconciling some time later. Hey look, that's realistic too!
So many more things could be there main point, instead of just making Teh the villain. I'm so sad about ipytm :(((
anon, YOU should have been a writer on the show!!! there are so many things that should've been more developed instead of spending 2 eps on teh's cheating & the last one on putting them back together. I think it's very realistic if they grow apart, and maybe break up & get back together, bc after all not many people who date in high school make it to university. I wish they would've explored more how moving away & having their whole world change affected them, they did it a bit with oh-aew in ep 1 & then it stopped. the changing majors thing should've also been way more important, bc it's something so many people go through & teh being upset about that was actually the most in character thing in this whole sequel (apart from him waiting 8 months to blow up at oh-aew, teh has been established as incapable of hiding his feelings, it should've exploded immediately.) oh-aew being denied an acting gig for being more feminine could've literally been the focus of the whole series, and it would've made the show really important for doing more than just pointing it out. as for coming out, I completely agree. I liked the scene with teh's mom giving the protecting amulets, but I do think it felt a little flat when itsay's teh was so deeply repressed. and him coming out as a famous actor (though it's only been a year so how famous can he really be lol) could've also been a major plot point. but the thing is, even if all of these had been added & the cheating hadn't happened, this sequel still wouldn't have a point in existing. itsay was perfect in every way & delivered teh and oh-aew's story perfectly, and it should've stopped there. let's learn to be less greedy & content with perfect endings, instead of always wanting more. this consumeristic thought process is only going to create more heartbreaking sequels & I truly don't want any of them.

So, i just started ep 9 and, like, I'm starting to think that maybe Heesung chose to not take Jay exactly because he knew that Jay would've been perfect with DIY? Like, not counting the contrast between their age and the lyrics the team for DIY is totally fitting for the vibe of the song and the choreography? So yeah, I honestly think that Heeseung did a good job at choosing his team, oof
i think Heeseung basically picked the members he thought would be best for Flicker, and honestly he did it perfectly. Regarding Jay specifically he definitely fit DIY more than Flicker, like cmon, but im not sure about the rest of the team. Ni-ki, Ta-ki and Daniel yes, but i think both Hanbin and Sunoo may have actually fit more with Flicker than they did DIY

if you where a writer on pretty little liars , what changes would've made to season 6b 7 ? for me , I would have never had Ezra and aria get married . I would kill off Ezra. Ezra is a creepy mofo. Also , I would've had Alison as a.d. it would've been a bigger betrayal. Also, it makes sense.
Honestly, the number 1 thing 6B needed MORE of, was Alex. She only appeared in season 7 and that sucked. (If we had it my way Alex would’ve been there since season 1, but anyway!) I know that Freeform didn’t approve of Marlene’s idea of Alex Drake until 620, so she didn’t want to put in clues for a storyline that might get rejected, so this is entirely Freeform’s fault. I blame Freeform for the boringness of 6B. And in terms of what 6B needed LESS of... romance, and red-herrings, for sure. Oh cmon, I did not believe for one second that Byron killed Charlotte just to protect Aria. That’s not even in Byron’s character, and that motive is so extreme. Byron would’ve been more likely to speak to the police/hospital, express his concerns for releasing Charlotte, etc. Not freaking kill the girl. And yeah, way too much romance. I could not care less about Hanna and Jordan, or Aria and *insert Aria’s fiancé’s name here*See, the fact I don’t remember shows how much he put me to sleep.Season 7... I’ll cop hate for this, I know, but... it was perfect. I wouldn’t change much. Best season to date. Literally, we went from 95% filler and 5% plot progression in each 6B episode, to 95% plot progression and 5% filler, instantly, in each episode of season 7. Season 7 was right up my alley. Intense mystery, higher stakes, no high-school themes (obviously, time jump haha) and I’ll admit that the romance was better. That Spaleb scene behind the door in 703... compare THAT to frickn Hanna and Jordan... I could literally go on and on, so yeah, honestly, season 7 was perfect for me. I wouldn’t change it’s structure. There are things I would change about Alex’s story, such as the deletion of Sara Harvey and making Alex the real Black Widow, but, as a whole, season 7 was great. If I absolutely had to change 1 thing about season 7, it would be to add a betrayal or major death. I did want at least ONE thing to make me say OMG. Not one thing in season 7 shocked me :( Alison as AD could’ve achieved that. Or Ezra actually dying in that cell, for example.
