How do you imagine Levan/Revan/ Mallenoa's husband?
Appearance, personality etc.
Revaan/Laverne/whatever-his-name-is's title sort of implies that he might be from a fantasy-Eastern country (they've established that in Twstland, 竜 = Eastern-style dragons, andドラゴン = Western-style dragons). and that's about as much as we know right now about...anything in regards to what he might look like. so I've been trying very hard not to form too much of a mental picture of him, because I'm still hoping we'll get to see him (or at least a silhouette)! ergo, in my head, he kind of looks like this:
so handsome. surely Malenoa fell in love at first glance.
I do think the funniest thing about what we've learned so far is that Malleus being kind of quiet and reserved and dignified...absolutely did not come from the Draconias. and he sure as heck did not learn it from Lilia. so he probably got a lot of that from his dad! the vibe I get from how Lilia talks about him is that he could be a bit of a prim little fancyboy sometimes, but was (mostly) willing to go along with his wife's zany antics out of love. he sounds sweet, honestly! I'm sorry he (maybe) died. :(
my favorite thing about Mal's parents is that Malenoa and Lilia's dynamic was "long-suffering guard and princess who has long been the cause of said suffering":
but then they would happily join forces in order to gang up on Revaan:
tl;dr Revaan was the straightman in Malenoa and Lilia's comedy act until it all ended horribly whoops

So @somerandomdudelmao made a version of their sona in a dystopia (inspired by @tapakah0 doing the same to theirs) and the person in this ask named the robot C.A.S.5 and I thought, ‘well then there’s at least four other C.A.S. units out and about in the world’ leading to this being the end result! It was a lot of fun to come up with the different customizations each C.A.S. unit has.
also, the design for C.A.S.4 (Cash) was partially inspired by @mobiitez post.

The more I learn about Civil War politics, the more I'm convinced that Lincoln's most impressive and useful leadership trait was that he never let his pride get in the way of doing his job.
Other people in Lincoln's position would have come to Washington with something to prove. They'd have resented the insults and tried to disprove them. They'd have tried to seize power and credit, rejected help, spent a lot of time trying to reach a certain level of respect.
Lincoln's response to, "You're just a backwoods lawyer with no executive experience who makes too many dumb jokes," was pretty much always, "Yeah. And?" He had no interest in petty personal power plays. He had a country to run. There was a war on. It didn't matter what people thought of him so long as the job got done.
He was aware of his personal shortcomings and was always willing to accept advice and help from people who had more knowledge and experience in certain areas. He presided over a chaotic Cabinet full of abrasive personalities who thought they were better and smarter than him, but he kept working with them because they could get the job done. For example: Stanton was absolutely horrible to him when they were both working as lawyers. Just incredibly mean on a personal level. But when Lincoln needed someone to replace Cameron, he swallowed his pride and appointed Stanton as Secretary of War, where Stanton proceeded to be mean to everyone in the world, but he whipped that department into shape and kept it running efficiently through a very chaotic war. Pretty much no one except Lincoln would have been able to put up with that. He could put up with people who were personally difficult if they could do the job he needed them to do--which he was only able to do because his own ego didn't get in the way.
Lincoln's example is a prime demonstration of how humility isn't underrating yourself--it's being so secure in your own abilities and identity that you don't need to attack anyone or defend yourself to prove your worth. He knew his shortcomings, but he also knew his strengths. He was willing to give other people credit for successes and take blame upon himself for failures if it kept things running smoothly. He was secure enough in his own power that he could deal generously--but firmly--with people who tried to undermine him. In a city full of huge egos, in a profession that rewards puffed-up pride, that levelheaded humility is an extremely rare trait--which is what made it so impressive and effective.

is there anyone in this community who just does not actually want to tell people about you liking tickling? idk I just personally don't have the desire to tell my friends because I don't want to get tickled by them anyway. the only reason I would tell would be to like explain the significance of it to me and my life and my identity (which I did once and yes it was NICE but I don't want him to tickle me really). romantic partner might be different but I have been single for 28 years so what do I know!

Man, I went into the Trails series with a WAY different idea of what they were like then what they actually were.
Trails: "Welcome to Zemuria. Here, an industrial revolution based around the use of orbal energy is completely changing society. You can even use orbal energy to enhance your physical abilities via portable devices called orbments! They also allow you to use magical abilities called Arts."
Me: "Oh, so this is how people are going to do crazy anime shit. Via fancy Arts and Orbments power. I can easily see how this system can be used for a clear and consistent power system, in an otherwise realistic and grounded setting."
Trails: "Uhhhh"
Me: "So this guy who uses the Shadow Clone no Jutsu is using a really fancy Art, right?"
Trails: "No, he can just do that."
Me: "Oh, o-okay"
Trails: "One of your party members is a twelve-year-old girl with a gatling gun."
Me: "What"
Trails: "Your dad has a DBZ-esque power-up move and can go hand-to-hand with a giant robot. It's completely unrelated to any kind of Orbal enhancement."
Me: "WHAT"
Trails: "I haven't even mentioned the guy who's just The Joker With Superpowers yet"

Concept. Susie getting super cold during winter and being wrapped in a blanket and given hot coco by Noelle and Kris.
Noelle does fine in the snow! And Kris just likes excuses to share that hot chocolate again.
