so i redesigned 2012 Karai during her mutation mode and may have gone a little overboard abusing my abilities on picrew but honestly
It fits her way better
although I love what the show did for her with the snake mutant makeover I feel like the species wasn’t really the best choice
I mean I do love a cool fantasy and fiction based monster thingie but the show could have done something with more meaning. That’s why wanted to base my version off the anaconda.
Anacondas are amount the strongest and biggest of all snakes and possibly all reptiles. It fits Karais character so much better because of their tendency to be independent and a dominant and feared predator in the environments that they live in. In this species they also tend to have the females to be more dominant because of their larger and stronger bodies giving them more chances of success during combat and hunting(remind you of a certain someone).
I also just didn’t like how they changed her eye color from amber to green. The yellowish color just looks soooo much better on her

hi tamadachi ! hope everyone is doing well. i have a topic i just wanna make clear to all my friends, so i am going to make a quick informative and educational post to you all (o^∇^o) this is regarding ai art !! ai art is super harmful to actual artists and can actually permanently jeopardize their work !! ໒( ⇀ ‸ ↼ )७ a lot of people do not know that much about ai art, since it is soooo new ! so let’s take a look at a few reasons ai art can be so destructive !!
ai art is never original - it uses art that real artists have created, and feeds it into a large database.
when you see any ai generated art, it was created using the art of actual artists all across the internet ! more often than not, that art was taken from the original artist without their permission or consent. at that point, that is basically like reposting someone else’s art without crediting the source ! one of the worst harms that can be done to an aspiring artist is separating their work from their name. with ai art, that is happening way more often.
AI art generators use machine learning algorithms and deep neural networks to generate art. Large sets of already-made art are used to teach these algorithms how to find patterns and styles that can be used to make new art.
a lot of people are trying to profit off of ai-generated art.
this is directly affecting a lot of artists financially. i may only do art as a hobby, but many artists use art as their main source of income. when people create ai art and market it, it takes clients away from real artists.
read about real artists who have been directly affected by this here
it takes the attention away from an artist’s original work when you alter their art using ai.
even feeding a picture into an ai and maintaining the original prompt is still harmful. although it may seem cool to watch someone’s drawing get cleaned up or altered by an ai, this can hurt the original artist in many ways. once you feed an image into an ai, it has that data forever. so, now it can use that drawing for prompts in the future, which may aid individuals trying to profit off of ai-generated art (even if that was not your personal intention !!). not only that, but seeing morphed and repeatedly altered versions of their art can really hurt an artist’s psyche ! we already struggle with confidence and motivation just like any other content creator. seeing “better” versions of our drawings can really affect our already shaky self-esteem. think of it like body dysmorphia for artists. it is very real and definitely hurts us !!
alternatives to ai art !!
there are lots of ways to create your own avatars, images and designs even if you cannot draw them from scratch. picrew allows you to design characters from scratch, while still crediting the original artists. there are also many avatar creators, like monster girl maker, pastel girl, etc. which all use art from real artists and credits them accordingly. and, of course, the best way to support an artist you love is by commissioning them !!
hopefully this will help those of you who were not familiar with this concept, and we can continue keeping this platform a safe space for artists to share their content !! okay so imagine,, luke and kori baking cookies for valentines day,,,
he's helping her make a batch of heart cookies to sell, and getting the excellent idea to make more... custom ones for the both of them while she's busy with making more cookie dough,,

They're twins! When they turned 13 they discovered some things:
1) they have superpowers: Barty can teleport himself within certain range, Emma can waterbend as long as she touches the water
2) they can also see, feel and travel through portals into four different worlds; said portals open and close randomly
3) this whole thing with getting powers at 13 is characteristic specifically of gingers because of their ancient ancestry from a different world and this whole thing is the origin of superstitions about the number 13, witches and ginger people
4) they're not the only ones who are aware of that and there are people who want to capture and study them to figure out how this whole thing works and how to get into a different world when you can't interact with portals in any way
Soooo they basically had to go on the run with a classmate of theirs, who is also ginger and turned out to be an elve (local equivalent of elf) from a different world!
Barty is a history buff and very serious and responsible, and Emma is more chaotic and likes to make a hero out of herself, which ends up being a very big problem…
(I don't have a good drawing of them yet and I'm afraid of missing the submissions so I hope the picrew I'm providing will suffice for now…)

they actually have two other siblings but those two arent relevant and the cap is three so . anyway ! their family is a mess but also theyre strongest together . piper loves her brothers and theyre so afraid because luci shut everyone out and her relationship with kaden is being strained . kaden hates lucifer and luci just wants the best for all of his siblings . lucifer is falling apart emotionally kaden is trying to be Someone and piper is trying soso hard to keep her family together and. waa,,, kaden has self esteem issues since piper and lucifer are both incredibly successful and he wasnt and. there is so much going on these three are so heavily intertwined with each other . piper wants lucifer back piper wants kaden to be safe lucifer is afraid and doesnt want the others hurt and kaden feels isolated and wants to just be treated like an Adult (which. he is) and they are still so deeply connected and. they get to be happy eventually !!!!!!

My poorest little meow meow. My wet paper bag of a mercenary. My sweet cheese. My silly rabbit. They simultaneously make my heart ache and soar whenever I think about them, their story, and everything that they are. I’ve put a lot of thought and care into them over the past couple of years that I’ve had them and they pretty quickly claimed this spot. They are my favorite brainworm <3.

There’s actually a newer oc but I made like. 2 days ago and I’m not quite ready to share her with everyone yet so here’s Rory!! Not too much on her backstory yet. She’s not involved with any canon characters, just Gray and eventually Dmitri. She does die a few years after meeting them unfortunately 😔
OLDEST OC:

Maverick is technically my first oc but he’s just changed soooooo much while Ti hasn’t much in comparison so I put her here instead. I’ve mostly just refined her as I’ve gotten older. I’ve had her since I was about 12 years old and she means a lot to me :) even tho I don’t talk about her too much. I really like her story and her relationship with Leon and the other characters. I made her when at a time where I was struggling with accepting my identity as an indigenous person (not because I was ashamed but bc of other reasons) and she kinda helped me with that!
MEANEST OC:
jace -- fable
This was a tie between him and Zeke, whom I could not make in the picrew so </3. I will give Jace the title of the worst man in Albion purely because Reaver was not alive during the first game JDFSKL. Jace was raised by good people and knew a lot of kindness in his life though he’d end up jaded to the world around him anyway due to the first raid of Oakvale that happened when he was only a child. This would result in the loss of father and sister while his mother was nowhere to be found, or so he thought. To Jace, kindness is weakness and only the strong can survive. Though one could argue he takes that sentiment a step too far.
SOFTEST OC:
valen -- skyrim
The sweetest girl in all of Tamriel!! Valen is soooo special to me. She is a bosmer and a healer, a job that requires no small amount of compassion. Her story is one of self-discovery, particularly discovering her strength and self-worth though she loses no amount of kindness along the way, she just doesn’t let it get in the way of taking care of herself anymore.
MOST ALOOF/STANDOFFISH OC:
silas -- dragon age: origins
This is partially a defense mechanism (mainly against humans) but also because of their overwhelming autistic swag. At their core, Silas is kind and protective of those around them, perhaps overwhelmingly so. They’re also irresponsible and flighty but becoming a warden forces them mature pretty rapidly. Through their journey, they discover their knack for leadership and for problem-solving even if they’re not the most diplomatic. Their relationship with Mivera (their sister), Zevran and the other companions is really special to me!
DUMBEST (AFFECTIONATE) OC:
sylvan -- skyrim
I had such a hard time with this one because none of my ocs are really stupid? I picked Sylvan because I guess he’s the least intelligent but mostly just acts like a giant dumbass because he thinks it’s funny. But it also works to his benefit when others underestimate him. He’s not the most academically sound but he has the street smarts, charisma, and looks to make up for it.
SMARTEST OC:
demetria -- eso
I don’t think you can be as old as she is and be dumb fjdslf. But her upbringing had a heavy focus on the academics and magic so she’s always been incredibly book smart. She was, however, lacking any sort of street smarts or social skills until she left the cave she was raised in. But this would change upon meeting Valkya and Hakon, two nord warriors turned mercs who took her under their wing. She’s blunt, witty, and a tiny bit arrogant but is also kind and loves to talk about her studies any chance she gets. She’s a nerd <3.

She is truly the bestie of all time. I’ve always found myself drawn to people like Eden (extroverted, kind, and very talkative) and she loves to adopt sad little introverts so I think we could be great friends! Sitting on a rooftop and watching the stars with her would fix me, I think.

APPEARANCE
Mordred has wavy black long hair going down to the middle of her back, green eyes and a warm beige complexion. [She also spends hours in the bathroom with Morgana applying skincare products lol] She enjoys wearing plaid skirts, dresses, cute aesthetic cozy clothes and loves reading & writing. She is a bit short, and I made a picrew for her, I couldn't change the eyes and skin tone, but I just made it work. My Mordred is extremely truthful, working on her confidence and she is super intuitive, always thinking before she acts and keeps calm. Mordred tries to be kind while trying to stay away from trouble. Mordred is affable and friendly, treating people with smiles. Extras: [She is a bit of a introvert, her sign being a Aquarius, birthday being January 24th. She is a bit emotional not being afraid to show her emotions.]
FRIENDSHIPS/ROs
My Mordred is relatively friendly to everyone, except Lancelot, ew... Anyways, although being displeased with Morganas actions like attacking Arthur after my dragon heard a fight, we both love each other dearly. Also, Accolon is soooo sweet and wholesome 💕💕💕 my 2nd dad <3. Gareth is also always there for me :). I'm romancing Gawain and I LOVED the flowers scene and the poem that was like "Do you like me too?" HES SO SWEET ❤. I'm trying to befriend Galahad and we're working it out.

Just a small thing! I actually do have a canon... not exact birthday, but an approximate interval for Mordred's birthday, and that is somewhere in July (more towards early July). Might add a certain date, but it didn't feel necessary.
In chapter 4 we get to see Mordred celebrate their birthday 👀
