Chilchuck analysis speedrun: As a hardworking half-foot who grew up poor and discriminated against and had his gullibility taken advantage of multiple times in his early adventuring days, Chilchuck thinks optimism is a dangerous flaw. He’s stressed and strict all the time because his job is noticing details like traps that could get everyone killed before anyone knows it, he takes the lives of everyone to be on his shoulders, and with the way he speaks about it that probably partly reflects how he felt about taking it upon himself to provide for his family too. His life’s always been pretty centered around work and has become even moreso now that his wife left and everyone is independent, and due to past events he’s very iffy with bonding with coworkers. He thinks feelings and job are a disaster mix. Like with his wife or with parties hiring him as sacrifice, being open or having good faith is vulnerability which can get you hurt, so he processes and shows all his stress as anger instead of worry. Doing strict dieting probably isn’t helping the irritability what with hunger, and on top of being a hunger suppressant alcohol might be the main stress reliever he has.

i maintain that the reason goro sucks at cooking is bc he absolutely cannot for the life of him experiment with it. he can follow instructions fine but if there's vague terms or if something says to eyeball it he's completely lost. that, and goro cannot stand having to do multiple things at once and will absolutely burn a building down because he wasn't keeping a close enough eye on the stove. this is what makes akira so good at cooking, on the other hand--he thrives at experimenting and taste testing and the chaos of the kitchen is something he lives for.

HOWEVER. goro is very good at following a step-by-step guide. he is extremely meticulous. he is capable of being precise with measurements. so once he's introduced to it, goro becomes an incredible baker. it even becomes therapeutic, a method of relaxing after a long day. akira hates baking for the same reasons goro loves it, but loves having yummy tasty treats, so baking becomes goro's forte.

unfortunately, being the friend who brings baked goods to every hangout means goro is not escaping the has-a-sweet-tooth allegations anytime soon.

theo and liam always getting paired together in 6b during episodes where all of the other storylines focus on couples going through stuff together is so funny because when you look at it, the only episode where they really get split up is genotype, which is one of the rare episodes where scott ISN’T paired with malia (because he’s with liam) and mason isn’t with corey (because he’s with theo) aka the canon love interests. like these episodes were cutting from shit like scalia almost dying together to thiam having intimate conversations about how liam processes emotions and morey saying i love you to thiam swearing that neither of them are dying for each other 😭 just very amusing to me. theo raeken: the accidental love interest.

He’s been one of my favorite actors for quite some time but it wasn’t until the last few months something clicked and I really fell hard. He’s what I needed when I needed it, a gorgeous bright spot in the midst of a rough personal time. Diving into his filmography has been a lot of fun and at times even challenging. There’s a lot about his best work that pushes me out of my comfort zone and asks all the painful, awkward, worthwhile questions we should all ask ourselves—and even harder, it confronts us with some of the honest answers.

I’ve learned a lot about myself and other people and sexuality and fear/anxiety and how to be a real person in the world. And I’ve watched some really terrible movies. Most importantly, I’ve met some very very amazing people who love Jim too and we get to hang out on this silly website every day and have fun :-) I think the greatest thing art gives us is community (in many forms) and I’m just very grateful to James for being the center of ours and introducing me to so many wonderful people. And he isn’t too bad himself ! A pretty special guy :’)

Soooo happy birthday Jamesy, thank you for being you—you’re the only one who can get away with it. You’ve made the world a much stranger, much more exciting place in every way ❤️❤️

Lies of P (2023)

#I finished lying and penising for the last time… #I got the game for my PS5 after 100%ing it on game pass bc I was so impressed and obsessed I needed to get a physical copy #so I obviously had to 100% it again and I hilariously forgot to read a letter to unlock an achievement #so I had to play the game a FOURTH TIME since you only get the letter at the end and restarting the game wipes all letters from your bag #but that let me do something I LOVE doing with these shorter games #which is putting the effort to give these characters the best endings their quests allow #so I can leave the characters in the world with as much peace as I can #I also did this in majora’s mask with my final run of the game being about doing every single side quest I could and beating ever boss #so that termina would be as peaceful as it would be once the mask was destroyed and skull kid freed #that being said wearing the alidoro mask led to an unintentionally hilarious semi final cutscene #a tear is supposed to roll down your face at one point but instead it was just a completely still super close shot of the dog mask #and I burst out laughing like nooooooo #luckily I’ve scene the ending like 3 times already but can you imagine if that was the only time I’d seen it 😂 #I one rounded nameless puppet this time I truly felt like a god I’m so grateful for neowiz for making this game its been so fun #even after beating it like 7 times I know I’ll be playing it again one day and I’m gonna be a preorder ho for the Lies of series #the DLC and sequel can’t come soon I’m so in love with this game I need to eat it #Lies of P #video games #lies of p sophia #lies of p carlo
