Patch Lyrics: Enjoy Your Slay by INK
To hell with hospitality
Welcome to your last resort
If you need help finding piece of mind don’t hesitate to axe
Say goodbye to sanity
Thank you very much, enjoy your slay!
Face down in the lap of luxury
Fuck the comforts of reality
Turn the page, disengage and destroy, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
Oh I’m not going to hurt you, I’m just going to bash your fucking brains in!
Redrum
Cross out the words “Do Not Disturb” on the doors of depravity
Slashes to ashes, dust to dust, hey Danny, come play with us
Thank you very much, and please do keep in touch, enjoy your slay

trazuil hcs plzzzzzzzz!!?? (pos)
(also I noticed that ur ask sentence is a lyric from ice nine kills 'enjoy your slay'-)
haha! Knew someone would notice it, lol.
Also, since I mostly deleted my OG post of Trazuil (I didn't like it so I wanted to remake it) I might as well dump all my info about xem right here on this ask. And heads up, there's mentions of violence and abuse up ahead in this post btw:
-to start off, Trazuil is a AMAB nonbinary person (he/him and xe/xem), he is also an arospec gay
-Xer autistic, borderline (like me), have PTSD, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, gender dysphoria, is a selective mute and also has ASPD
-He's a slasher (a killer who mutilates/kills people with knives, blades, chainsaws, etc; just wanting to save you the google search of the definition of a slasher)
-OG idea was that Trazuil was mostly going to be Nigerian; but I was also leaning that he would be Afro-Latine instead, so I went ahead and made him both afro-latine AND nigerian. He would be VERY fluent in both Spanish and Swahili.
-I was struggling a bit for this one, because I couldn't find a good VA that would fit Trazuil, so given that, my choice would have to be Joel Perez (aka, Valentino's VA from Hazbin Hotel). Of course, Trazuil wouldn't be acting like Valentino because there is a HUGE difference between the two. One is, of course, Valentino is an abusive rapist pimp while as Trazuil is a slasher with a dark past. Oh, and Trazuil would absolutely OBLITERATE Valentino when you put them in an room for an hour and half an hour in you'll be hearing Val's screams and his insides just PAINTED the entire room.
-Personality wise, he would be a mixed of Shadow the Hedgehog and Spawn from Todd McFarlane's comics. He would also be a bit of a foodie like Hannibal Lecter.
-Another difference would be between Val and Trazuil xemself would be that Val most likely has killed innocent people (cuz it was mentioned that Valentino in Episode 4 has killed past sex workers/employees of his that didn't do a good job before and/or during when Angel Dust arrived in Hell). Trazuil, on the other hand, is basically like Dexter Morgan; he mostly killed people that were murderers, abusers and rapists since he still has moral values and also because he was a victim himself. He only has killed a few innocent people only because they were pissing xem off.
-Xe are younger and somewhat shorter than Bezel; his age range would probably be mid-20's but he kinda acts like a bit of a grumpy old man lol
-Going back, he would often times keep the flesh of his victims for meals. Like being said before, he's a bit of a foodie like Hannibal, always finding creative ways to upgrade his meal. Sometimes, when the kill is slow he'll just hunt animal meat as a substitute.
-He wears mostly long-sleeved or any long clothing to cover his body because of the scars he has all over xer body. Xe's insecure the most about them since they were a reminder of the way he was abused--hence his gender + body dysphoria
-Mentioning, he was mostly abused by his family when he was young. Xe were raised by a group of fallen-angen-turned-powerful-demons that had a toxic tradition of viewing one's values. Hence, he was abused and almost left to die on Earth because his family exiled him and took away his powers. Afterwards, he was left to defend himself and mostly replied on sharp weapons.
-Trazuil mostly lives in the woods in his cabin, and he keeps all his weapons in a shed he built
-He knows color theory, astronomy, and vintage stuff really well; someone would ask "how do you make teal?" And he'll be like "Just use equal amounts of blue and green, that'll do." Along with having an knowledge for exo planets, black holes, etc.
-He's a big softie for dogs and other species in the canidae family
-Oh, and I should probably mention: whenever he's angry (not pissed) xe'll swear/mutter in either Spanish or Swahili as a way to censor himself. HOWEVER, I do imagine that he's a bit sadistic and unhinged when it comes to killing his victims. Like picture that one scene in the movie adaption to "The Shining" where Wendy is scared for her life while holding that bat to defend herself as Jack is walking up the stairs to her while saying "Wendy, dearest, love of my life...I'm not gonna hurt you...I'm just gonna bash your brains in" in the most intimidating way. Imagine that in the woods, but Trazuil is holding an axe and he's chasing his future victim.

Frightfulness cherishing metal outfit Ice Nine Kills join serious metalcore animosity with a dramatic style motivated by exemplary blood and gore movies and the mysterious. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, they appeared in the mid 2000s, exchanging through styles prior to zeroing in on a melodic in-your-face sound that aided push the cutting edge 2015 LP Every Trick in the Book onto the Billboard 200. They kept on seeing graph accomplishment with diabolical ensuing endeavors The Silver Scream (2018) and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood (2021).Taking their name from ice-nine, the world-finishing substance at the core of Kurt Vonnegut's exemplary novel Cat's Cradle, Ice Nine Kills went through their initial days turning through the two individuals and styles at a great clasp, fiddling with ska-troublemaker and post-no-nonsense on self-delivered collections like The Pop-Punk Ska Years (2002) and Last Chance to Make Amends (2006) preceding choosing a more steady arrangement in 2009 including artist Spencer Charnas (the band's just establishing part), guitarists Justin deBlieck and Justin Morrow, bassist Shane Bisnett, and drummer Conor Sullivan. This setup would move the band in a heavier, more metal course with 2010's Safe Is Just a Shadow, which was delivered on Ferret Music. Bisnett ultimately headed out in different directions from Ice Nine Kills in 2011, with Steve Koch stepping in to supplant him on visits with groups like the Word Alive and Issues. The Predator EP continued in 2013.In late 2015, Ice Nine Kills endorsed with Fearless Records and gave their leading edge exertion, Every Trick in the Book, the band's fourth studio LP and first appearance on the Billboard 200. Amidst unrelenting visiting, the band gave a re-recorded variant of 2010's Safe Is Just a Shadow and a modest bunch of singles, including "Nature of the Beast" and a front of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever." In 2018, Sullivan headed out in different directions from the gathering, decreasing Ice Nine Kills to a center innovative threesome. Before long, they started off their next collection cycle with the arrival of "The American Nightmare," which was motivated by A Nightmare on Elm Street. That subject would illuminate their fifth collection, The Silver Scream, which observed them completely embracing their enthusiasm for ghastliness works of art by making 13 tracks motivated by 13 films, for example, Friday the thirteenth ("Thank God It's Friday"), Saw ("The Jig Is Up"), and The Shining ("Enjoy Your Slay"). The set appeared in the Top Five of the U.S. Hard Music and Rock graphs, ascending into the Top 30 of the Billboard 200. After two years, the band gave the show LP I Heard They KILL Live!! Once more 2021 saw the arrival of the band's 6th studio exertion, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, which shifted focus over to exemplary blood and gore movies for motivation, and included visitor spots from Jacoby Shaddix, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, and Brandon Saller, among others. #iceninekillsmerchandise #officialiceninekillsmerch #iceninekillsmerchstore #shopiceninekillsmerchapparel #iceninekillstshirt #iceninekillsshirt

wrote this from my notes earlier. thought i'd post it here as well in case some of you guys might relate to it.
-------
i know this question sounds very weird and random, but do you guys care about how long a band has been active in making music? like, does it matter to you if the band is already two decades old and you fear that they'll break up sooner than you think due to the band's age? do you also care about the band members' ages?
this is gonna be a long one... but this is me with Ice Nine Kills; a band i recently just discovered. i'm the type of person that quietly whispers "i wish i was there when the band was just starting out" to himself but in INK's case, the band was formed literally two years before i was even BORN. Ice Nine Kills were formed in 2000 and started making music in 2002, so i genuinely had NO SINGLE CLUE what they were doing when my mom still changing my diapers. to put it into perspective, Spencer was 17 when Ice Nine Kills started making music in 2002, he's now 35 and will turn 36 in November.
now that i look back at the early 2010's, i wonder what what would've happened if i already discovered INK by then (Spencer's in his 20's). i guess being a kid at 5th grade with basic music tastes didn't help - i was only listening to Vocaloid and Vocaloid ALONE right before i discovered 5SOS in around 2013-2014... i wasn't even a fan of metal/metalcore that time because everyone around me claimed the songs as "the songs from the devil" or whatever stigma they kept sharing to others. i myself wasn't fond of it either because i preferred colorful and poppy music.
Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2 will be released next month and i'm excited for it... but somehow i wish i discovered them earlier in, say, 2017 or 2018 when The Silver Scream was newly released. i missed out on A LOT just by that album ALONE. heck, maybe even way back in 2013 when they covered Adele's "Someone Like You" would be nice... at least i can proudly tell others that i've been listening and loving the band for almost a decade like i do with 5SOS.
tho, considering Spencer's the only founding member left (most members from the 2000's are gone and only a few from 2010's stayed) and how they recently just joined Fearless Records, i'll make myself believe that the band just started having a steady uphill pace in the early 2010's (which is actually the case) and their name is just starting to be known by everyone. at least that's enough to diminish the fact that i'm as old as the band.
i'll encouter this same phase again with a new band that i'll discover, that's for sure; but honestly, all that matters here is that i love their music and i'll keep supporting them. the fear of them breaking up WILL be there, that's unavoidable, but as long as nothing terrible happens, i'm pretty sure the band will stay as is. if they're still active and is teasing/releasing new music/content, there's nothing to worry about. also, Spencer's almost in his 40's (good lord), but i'll be 23 years old and out of college before that happens and it'll already be 2025. who knows what'll happen before then? i hope Spencer still keeps Ice Nine Kills in his 40's tho 😂
hey, maybe someone out there is making the same note as i do but they're saying how they wish they discovered 5SOS earlier instead of discovering them just last year.
(i'm using this reasoning to prevent myself from sulking terribly because i didn't discover a band or an artist earlier haha). maybe someone in the NEAR FUTURE would write another similar note regarding a now-disbanded 5SOS from the year 2060's instead. who knows?
y'know, with what i said above, sometimes i wish i was born earlier. i can (or maybe can't) only imagine what's happening today if i was already, say, 24 years old or so.
anyways, i thought i'd vent with this note because it's been boggling my mind since this morning. i know i'm thinking about this too much but i just wanted to let this all out instead of letting this shitass of a brain ruin my mood day by day. i keep thinking about time a lot, don't i?
i don't even know why this thought popped up in my head in the first place. is it because most band members of the bands i love right now are in their 30's? is it because Spencer's almost in his 40's? i legitimately have no idea. the thought just popped up in my mind last night as i was watching the lyrics video for "Enjoy Your Slay" and it stayed there bugging me until now as i write this.
one thing's for sure tho, i'm very VERY thankful YouTube recommended me their MV for "SAVAGES" back at June (they somehow got the memo for my love of horror, blood, and gore). i now love Ice Nine Kills and i will keep listening to them even it's already 2030. yeah, i wish i discovered them sooner but hey, i'm here now! can't wait for Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2! i'm pretty sure they'll continue making those short movies to pick up where The Silver Scream 1 left off (which will span for over a year or two or even more i bet).
edit (08/09/21; 6:35 pm): i just looked it up and i learned that Dustin Bates from STARSET (the band that i love so much because they talk about astronomy and science in their songs) is only a year younger than Spencer Charnas from INK, so i guess this completely nullifies whatever the fuck i wrote in the paragraphs above but hey at least my brain has calmed down from that certain thought now. i can finally sleep in peace. four to five years is still a lengthy way to go and i hate myself for not thinking that earlier 😂

Info Dump Time!
So it has come to my attention that the slasher fandom has recently been introduced to Ice Nine Kills, my favorite band (aside from Rammstein, of course). So if you are really wanting to get into them but have no clue where to start, look no further! As I am about to impart my knowledge onto all of you lovely people!
Tumblr media
So Ice Nine Kills is an American Rock band from Boston, Massachusetts (but they like to say they’re from Salem). The band was formed in 2002 by high school friends Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz, though today the only surviving member of the original band is Spencer.
(more under the cut)
The current members are:
Spencer Charnas - lead vocals (main stage character: Freddy Kruger, Jason Vorhees)
Tumblr media
Ricky Armellino - rhythm guitar, co-vocals (the extra screaming voice in most songs lol) (main stage character: Georgie)
Tumblr media
Patrick Galante - drums (main stage character: Jigsaw)
Tumblr media
Joe Occhiuti - bass, keyboard (Main stage character: Eric Draven)
Tumblr media
Dan Sugarman - lead guitar, backing vocals (Main stage character: Leatherface)
Tumblr media
Justin “JD” DeBlieck is also technically a current member but he's been on hiatus from the band since Warped Tour 2018. His role in the band has been filled in by Ricky since then.
Their original sound was more ska-punk but have, since their first official album, have changed their sound to metalcore, or as Spencer calls it, theatricore.
Their discography is as follows:
Last Chance To Make Amends - 2006 (not currently on spotify and the only one I haven’t heard)
The Burning - 2007
2 Song Acoustic - 2009
Safe Is Just A Shadow - 2010
The Predator - 2013
The Predator Becomes The Prey - 2014
Every Trick In The Book - 2015
The Silver Scream - 2018
Other notable releases:
They’ve been featured on Punk Goes Pop three times and Punk Goes 90s once. They covered Adele’s Someone Like You on Vol. 5, Maroon 5’s Animals on Vol. 6, Taylor Swift’s I Don’t Want To Live Forever on Vol. 7, and Green Day’s Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) on Punk Goes 90’s Vol. 2 (also, side note, Motionless In White covered Rammstein’s Du Hast on that record and it is *chef kiss* horrible. Awful. Listen to it if you wanna ruin your ears. Chris Motionless does not know a lick of German and it shows)
In 2017 they released a re-recorded version of Safe Is Just A Shadow which I personally prefer over the original because it is a much cleaner record. I also like that it only features Spencer’s vocals which I find sounds much better than the mix of his and former bassist Shane Bisnett’s vocals.
Last year, they released a deluxe version of The Silver Scream which includes the new track Your Number’s Up, a cover of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and acoustic versions of A Grave Mistake, Stabbing In The Dark, SAVAGES, and Thank God It’s Friday (personally I only really like the acoustic of A Grave Mistake)
Their two most recent albums, Every Trick In The Book and The Silver Scream follow a similar format where every song on them follows a similar theme, ETITB being all based on classic novels and TSS being all based on slasher movies (with the exception of Thriller).
The songs and what they’re based on are as follows:
The Nature Of The Beast - Animal Farm by George Orwell
Communion Of The Cursed - The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty
Bloodbath & Beyond - Dracula by Bram Stoker
The Plot Sickens - Alive: The Story of The Andes Survivors by Piers Paul Read
Star-Crossed Enemies - Romeo And Juliet by William Shakespeare (the analyst in me really loves this song because it implies that Romeo and Juliet knew that they were only characters in a play but died together anyway because they knew they couldn’t escape their fate)
Me, Myself, & Hyde - The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Alice - Go Ask Alice by Beatrice Sparks
The People In The Attic - The Diary Of A Young Girl by Anne Frank (this song features Spencer doing a very unconvincing German accent which, outside of the context of the song, is very funny)
Tess-Timony - Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
Hell In The Hallways - Carrie by Stephen King
The American Nightmare - A Nightmare On Elm Street
Thank God It’s Friday - Friday The 13th
Stabbing In The Dark - Halloween
SAVAGES - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Jig Is Up - Saw
A Grave Mistake - The Crow
Rocking The Boat - Jaws (fun fact! This song features Jeremy Schwartz, the other founding member of the band and the lyrics contain the names of 5 of their 6 albums, excluding The Silver Scream)
Enjoy Your Slay - The Shining (another fun fact! In 2016 they put a vote to their fans to pick what piece of media the song they were working on would be based on, either The Shining or Psycho, I voted for Psycho because they already had a song based on a Stephen King story)
Freak Flag - The Devil’s Rejects
The World In My Hands - Edward Scissor-Hands
Merry Axe-Mas - Silent Night, Deadly Night
Love Bites - An American Werewolf In London
IT Is The End - It (including this one they have 3 songs based on Stephen King stories! His influence, ugh)
Your Number’s Up - Scream
More fun facts!
Aside from INK, Spencer also has a clothing company, Kleaver Klothing, which if they haven’t moved sites again, is at salem666.com
Last Year on their Summer tour they were supposed to play a show at a venue in Orlando, Florida that is on the grounds of Disney World. At the last minute Disney canceled their show because they’re performance was deemed “too violent” for a family park, despite the show already being 18+. In retaliation, the band released a series of limited edition merchandise featuring classic Disney characters as slasher villains, most notably Mickey Mouse as Freddy Kruger. They literally all sold out. I really should have got one when I had the chance
I own more pieces of Ice Nine Kills merch than literally any other piece of media I have ever consumed, including:
3 t shirts
2 tank tops
1 Letterman jacket
1 CD
2 vinyls
1 Kleaver t shirt (that I’m wearing right now)
1 poster
And a red balloon and paper boat from the IT Is The End music video promotion, (the boat is currently serving as a jewelry dish on my vanity)
I’ve seen them twice, Warped Tour 2016 and Warped Tour 2018, both times I met Spencer after the set and despite the whole scary act the band puts on during the shows, he’s very genuine and always really sweet to his fans. Enjoy these fetus pictures of me meeting him at 14 and 16 y/o
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The lyric sheet for The Silver Scream is formatted like a spec script with action lines, scene headings, and inter-scene cuts, which screenwriting student me really, really enjoys
I got distracted while writing this because Patrick went live on Instagram, oops. He was setting up his new kit for the show tonight, it looks really cool, they’re painted to look like popcorn buckets
So that’s about it! Thank you for reading and enjoy the music!

13: Welcome Home // HELLYEAH it feels like cheating to pick the chorus but i just think it's neat "The smell of rain in the sky The tears are gone, the well is dry Why is my feeling of loss like a welcome home?" 66: Enjoy Your Slay // Ice Nine Kills alsjshflgl okay but ALL the lyrics in this one are so good though, it's about the shining! and it's got puns! "Welcome to your last resort don't overlook the past If you need help finding piece of mind don't hesitate to axe" 72: Small Cuts // The Brobecks this song slaps but it doesn't actually have that many lyrics so uh "We all want attention A beautiful kiss and a sin to confess"
