Maggie Rhee Dating HCS (Fem!Reader)
warnings; mentions of Glenn’s death, nsfw mentions (MINORS DNI)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh maggie rhee
this girl deserves the world and i wish i can hug her so tight
your relationship was rocky at first
before you got together, you were the one who helped her with everything after what happened to Glenn
neither of you had thought that you would catch feelings for one another
you were sure Maggie would forever be mourning Glenn, but you didn’t mind
but one day she came to you on her own, and admitted that she started to feel different about you
when you asked her what she meant, she kissed you
and after that , it was history
Maggie is extremely protective over you
everyday she’s still reliving her trauma , and the thought of you getting hurt petrifies her
so she makes sure you’re by her side 24/7
she holds you so tight at night, you’re always the little spoon with her
the two of you go on runs together, cook together, shower together
u do EVERYTHING together
Herschel Jr loves you deeply
he remembers seeing you when he was a toddler, helping Maggie take care of him
he grew up to trust you with everything he has, and he’s glad that Maggie has you
you don’t ask him to see you as his mom or anything, but at times, he definitely does
he loves you and makes sure Maggie knows it
but back to you and Maggie
you adore her so incredibly bad
on days when Maggie is feeling rough, you take it upon yourself to do everything for her
you love to wash her hair, and body. she just leans against you in utter relaxation
after what she’s been through, Maggie just needs a hug man :(
so, you try to hug her as tight as possible every day , multiple times a day
just to let her know that you’re here for her always
you loveeee cooking for her
and tbh
both of you are switches in bed
some days Maggie feels more dominant and just wants to fuck you into the mattress
and some days you want to be the one to take care of her in bed
sex isn’t often but at the same time it is
and when you do have sex, no matter who’s dominate, it’s always extremely intimate
Maggie will ask you if you’re okay every few minutes, kissing your body softly to relax you
and ofc you do the same
Maggie takes her time worshipping your body
she can spend hours eating you out, kissing and sucking at your thighs
maggie just really loves you
you’re her world, she’d do anything for you

Now that the war is over and Negan’s living in a cell, the remaining Saviors are left in Daryl’s care at the sanctuary. Your wife isn’t all that happy about this, but the two of you decide to go to the sanctuary with Rick and Daryl in order to help keep things in order.
Rick finishes his speech to the people in the building, then taking Daryl upstairs to discuss things. Meanwhile, you and Maggie walk around the rundown factory, watching the Saviors sort their cans of food.
“Well, hello there.” A voice catches your attention, making you turn around. Your greeted by a man with his hair half-tied up, wearing a grey sleeveless tank top. You shake your head and laugh at him, knowing he has no chance, your wife just a bit in front of you, talking to another Savior. “What’s funny, baby?” He grins, letting out a small laugh of his own. You let out a long sigh, “I’m taken.” You put your hand directly in front of his face, showing off the nice ring Maggie managed to get for you back at the prison. “Oh, I see.” He nods, pausing for a moment. He’s making it seem like he’s going to back off, but he proves you wrong when he opens his smug mouth again.
“Does that really have to stop us?” The man mumbles. “Us?” You raise an eyebrow. “I’ll stop you.” Maggie suddenly walks up to the two of you, “Hey, I’m her wife.” She seethes. The guy looks shocked, simply walking away as the girl stares him down. “Hot.” You joke, Maggie snaking an arm around your waist, letting the other guys that were staring you down know you’re hers.
This doesn’t seem to stop some of the men, however, as another one approaches you now that you’re once again separated from Maggie. This time, Rick and Daryl are surrounding you, the three of you discussing the future of the sanctuary. “Hey, ma.” The unknown man smirks, interrupting Rick. “Excuse me?” Rick glares at him. “Oh, you her husband?” The guy backs up a bit. “Nah, but she’s married and you’re a pervert, so back up.” Daryl defends you this time. “Oh, so you’re the husband?” He laughs.
You scoff, “I don’t have a husband, dumbass, I have a wife.”
“Oh, ya like girls?” His tone grosses you out even more than before.
“I like my wife, now go sort your food cans with the other’s before I starve your ass and take them.” You huff. He rolls his eyes and storms off.
“We aren’t going back there.” Maggie presses her lips into a firm line as the two of you enter your shared home, back from the trip to the sanctuary. “You don’t have to tell me twice.” You laugh, still feeling icky after the situation. “I’m serious, those men are pigs, all up on you like that.” Your wife takes off her flannel jacket and tosses it on the ottoman in the small living room as you grab a snack from the pantry. Taking a bite into a cookie, you raise an eyebrow, “Are you okay?” You ask her. She’s obviously not, she’s still seething after everything, angrily sitting down on the couch and sulking like a toddler that was denied a candy bar. “I’m fine.” She mumbles with her smooth southern accent. “You’re not fine, stop being like that.” You join her on the couch, offering her a cookie, which she denies. You eat the cookie instead, “You know you’re my wife, right? You’re the only one for me.” You turn to face her, looking into her beautiful green eyes, a small smile starting to form on her face. “I love you, hm?” You press small kisses all on her face until you reach her lips, waiting for her to say the phrase back. “I love you too.” She laughs. “Good.” You kiss her lips.

Tumblr media
summary: y/n tries growing in her grief at hilltop.
pairing: carl grimes x female reader
a/n: ya’llllllll thank you so much for loving the first part!!! i’d actually written pt1 a year ago and never rlly planned to ever make a pt2 but ask and you shall receive lolol, hope you like!!
*read part 1 here*
*************************
“todays the day rick n carl should be gettin here,” maggie said, sending a spoon with tomato soup into her mouth, “you ready to see him?”
i released a shaky breath, playing with my own bowl of food as my starved appetite vanished. i stared at the red, swirling liquid. “i don’t know.”
“a month wasn’t enough time apart?” she asked, eyeing me cautiously.
i hadn’t wanted to repeat myself, but i had no other answer. “i- i don’t know.”
it hadnt seemed like a month apart. i would’ve sworn it had been yesterday i walked out of alexandria alone, two duffel bags in my hand and a gun, ready to fend off anything or anyone that crossed my path.
but it had been a month, the longest we’d ever been apart. and i missed him more than anything.
it still didn’t shake my hesitancy, my worry that the moment we spend time alone we’ll go back to disagreements and fighting and perhaps, i’d never go back to alexandria again. and that’ll be the end of us. till one of dies and the other is forced to reconcile the fact that we’d never made up.
it scared me to see him. to see death again.
“well,” maggie swallowed again, her short hair bristling in the chilly air from the open window, “i think when you see him, that’s when you’ll really know.”
i nodded slowly, my eyes still trained on my soup.
she stood up out of the chair, “i need to find greg, talk to him ‘bout a few things.” she eyed me again, noticing my static, unmoving position. “you’ll be alright while i’m gone?”
i looked up at her then, not wanting her to worry, “i’ll be fine, mags.”
she gave me a small, reassuring smile and a kiss on the crown of my head before she went off, and i was left in my thoughts.
luckily, maggie’s trailer provided a lot of privacy, and knowing the tenants at hilltop, i wouldn’t be disturbed.
i stared off to a chip in the paint, thinking.
——
“i can come with you.”
“carl-“
“why can’t i just take you to hilltop and leave?”
“because, carl, don’t-“
“it’s dangerous, y/n, and reckless-“
“carl-“
“and stupid-“
“would you stop interrupting me!”
he went quiet then, his burly arms crossed over his flannel chest, eye staring daggers into my figure.
we stood by the door to our house, two duffel bags leaning against the wall i so desperately wanted to pick up and run out.
i knew despite him saying he wouldn’t stop me going, it wouldn’t eliminate the imminent last ditch effort fight from occurring.
“you told me you’d let me go.” i said slowly, as if reprimanding a child, “don’t go back on your word.”
he rolled his eyes, “god forbid i don’t want you out there by yourself! have my dad take you for fucks sake just don’t-“ he pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling stressfully, “don’t go by yourself.”
“i can take care of myself, carl.” i spat, feeling anger surge through me at his distrust in me. “i’ve survived this long.”
“you never know what can happen out there.” he threw his hands up, “or here! yesterday, that dick’s gun was to your head in this fucking room!”
i felt his rage, i voiced his yells. it made my head spiral that i were still trapped in alexandria, suffocating in this broken reflection of my relationship that could barely withstand some independence.
but, bringing myself to reality, i also knew his fear, knew the dread at the unknown. knew the loss he was experiencing even while i was still standing in front of him, alive and breathing.
i shuddered out a breath, walking over to him to put my hands sturdily on his shoulders.
i looked up at him, watching his anger dissipate when we locked eyes.
“i know you’re scared for me,” i said softly, talking quickly before he’d have a chance, “but i need you to trust me.”
“y/n-“
“no,” i put my finger to his soft lips, “let me finish.”
i brought my hand down, his eye watching my finger fall from his flesh.
“i’ll send a letter the second i get to hilltop, so you know i’m safe,” i swallowed, “i’ll have my gun loaded and extra ammo, anything i could scavenge up from the armory.”
his eyebrow relaxed, listening to me talk.
“this is what we’re made for now,” i shook him a bit and sent him a weary smile to ease his tension, “we’re made to do these things on our own.”
he exhaled shakily, nodding to fool himself into thinking he’d allow this, that he’d watch me walk away from him into trees of undead and alive.
i leaned up to his face, our noses brushing every so slightly. my heart boomed in my chest, beating so hard i swore he could hear it himself. maybe it was both of our hearts, desperate to intertwine again.
“do you trust me?” i whispered softly, so our lips grazed.
i heard him swallow, and the breath from his nose fan my face.
“yeah,”
i pulled back at that, knowing if we kissed, for the first time since…, i knew i’d lose the battle to my heart and stay.
i grabbed the two duffel bags and locked my palm around the doorknob.
looking over my shoulder, i sent a reassuring smile, “i’ll see you when we’re okay.”
he didn’t respond, and while it sent a jolt to my gut of disappointment and guilt, i turned back and opened the door.
“y/n,” i heard him say, just as i left.
i barely looked over my shoulder.
“i love you.”
i bit my lip, finally, tears stinging the corners of my eyes.
“i love you, too.”
and the door shut.
——
crossing the lines to hilltop and realizing who i’d be seeing almost sent me running the other direction.
fear of maggie’s state of being gave me a headache as i drew closer to the entrance, and once i was close enough in view, could see her faint outline on a lookout post illuminated by the bright sun behind her.
i knew she saw me when i heard a voice scream my name.
she disappeared from the post and soon the large, wooden doors opened. i ran the rest of the way, dropping my bags and falling tiredly into her expectant arms.
as much as i told myself i’d stay strong for her, the smell of her hair and the memories of that night came sweeping back and i sobbed, wet and noisily, into her chest that shook with her own cries.
i didn’t realize we’d fallen to the floor till i felt my exposed knees sting from skimming the rough dirt.
“what-“ she sniffled, a sob breaking through her, “what are you doing here?”
i took a shaky breath in, trying to compose myself, “i came to see you.”
she frowned, burying her face back into my shoulder.
we cried a few more moments, let ourselves drown in glenn’s absence, in front of all the onlookers who just watched silently.
i pulled back, dread creeping into my stomach when i looked at maggie’s
“the-“ i swallowed, “the baby-“
“fine,” she answered quickly, stroking tears off my cheeks and sending me a faint smile, “just fine.”
i breathed a sigh of relief, nodding at the scarce good news before standing and helping her up, too.
she looked healthier than the last time i saw her, fatter in her face and her arms. her stomach barely bulged as a reminder a part of glenn resided there.
behind her i saw sasha standing, her arms folded. even from far away, i could tell she just looked even worse, instead of better.
i sent her my best sympathetic smile, receiving one back but knowing deep down, it was just another lie to comfort me.
i looked to maggie, gripping her forearms, “take me to him.”
seeing glenn’s grave, surprisingly, comforted me more than disturbed me. to know we had him, safe under dirt and bugs, but still, safe. better than laying out in the gravel, for prying, evil eyes to view him.
he was returned back to us in less than one piece, but his soul was whole with us.
i held maggie’s hand as we looked down, a few flowers resting over the raised patch of dirt.
i swallowed harshly, “what would he think now?”
“of what?” she asked softly, our eyes never wavering from the ground.
“of carl and i. of what’s been destroyed.”
i felt her squeeze my hand, “you and carl aren’t destroyed.”
i shook my head, feeling tears blur my vision and my nose sting.
she continued, “you’re right for the time apart, to grieve separately if that’s what you need.”
“is it enough?” i asked brokenly, finally looking at her.
she gestured our intertwined hands to glenn’s grave.
“ask him.”
and so i did.
i spoke to glenn’s grave everyday. sometimes scattered stories of our memories, from the prison, from on the road. sometimes i cried so hard i couldn’t breathe under the empty dusk, sometimes i laughed so hard my stomach hurt. sometimes i sat in silence.
but mostly i talked about carl.
——
if i stared hard enough at that paint chip, i could’ve sworn the wall tore a bit more right before my eyes.
i knew who i had to see, to remind me this absence was for something, that i’d grown in my grief.
my feet carried me to his grave, hidden away behind maggie’s trailer. i sat down comfortably in front of it, hugging my knees to my chest.
“are we okay?” i whispered to the air. “will i see you in him?”
“was all of this for nothing? will it always be this way, glenn?” i wiped my hand over my nose.
i let out a shaky breath at the thought, “can we overcome this?”
“yes.”
my head whipped around, and i saw carl, standing with his arms at his sides, tears filling up his ocean eye.
it gave me whiplash how fast i stood up and launched myself into his unexpecting arms. they rested limp for a moment, but quickly moved to hug my torso tightly, lifting my feet slightly off the grass as i wedged my head between his neck.
we pulled back slightly to stare at each other, and i searched his face for the blood, for the black line, for the axe.
i smiled softly when i realized all i saw were glenn’s memories.
happy memories, of the hot days at the prison when we sweat so hard playing tag, of playing a dusty board game in alexandria the first night when we were too hesitant to sleep, of watching his love with maggie and seeing it reflected in carl and i.
“why’re you smiling?” he whispered, his own face pulling to reveal a grin. he knew.
i leaned in closer, tipping his sheriffs hat up so our noses could brush.
“because i don’t see it, not anymore.” i finally let our lips touch, a kiss that sent flames bursting in my stomach and my fingers to shake with anticipation.
he leaned into the kiss, and i felt the breath on my face at his sigh of relief.
i knew he knew what i meant when i saw the tiny twinkle in his eyes reappear looking at me, knowing he felt the same.
i pulled back ever too quickly, evident in how he leaned in again.
but before i gave him the chance to kiss me again, i let my smile burst through.
we all had a long way to go, people to kill and more people to lose, but in this moment, right in this moment:
“i see you now.” i said.
and that was enough.

I am mad! - Maggie
I know I promised a JJ oneshot next but I have completely lost motivation to write for her or Emily right now so the best I can do is bring a oneshot out of my favourite walking dead woman Maggie, anyway enjoy ;)
Can it be classed as a oneshot its almost 800 words long?
This is a Maggie x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: talk of injury/being stabbed but not too detailed, (is that enough for a warning).
Y/n, Maggie and Negan had been split up due to a small horde of walkers, whilst out in the city. During the whole ordeal, Maggie had been injured, a wound on her stomach, it was quite deep but Maggie being herself, she was stubborn about it. Not wanting to waste any time.
Luckily Y/n, Maggie' girlfriend had medical supplies, but of course Maggie only insisted on her cleaning it and wrapping a bandage around it.
They had to settle down for the night, no sight of Negan but both women knew he would catch up eventually to them. They held up for the night in a run down apartment building, clearing out walkers on the floor they decided to stay on, blocking the door in case any walkers decided to pay them a visit.
Maggie winced from the pain of the wound, it wasn't anything walker related, luckily. They had gotten into a bit of a fight with two other humans...who really didn't seem human anymore, and one of them had managed to practically stab Maggie in the process of fighting. Y/n sighed, hesitant to bring up the wound knowing Maggie would be stubborn. The brunette hated seeming vunerable, hated standing still for too long and she hated showing that she was in any pain. But Y/n was the only one with her right now that she would show this vunerability.
"Maggie, it needs stitches. You and I both know." Y/n mentioned. Her girlfriend rolled her eyes at her. "I'm fine. Its just a scratch." Maggie replied.
"No, you're not fine. You have almost passed out twice from losing blood. I know that bandage has soaked up half of it, but it really needs to be closed." Y/n mentioned. Y/n was by no means a nurse or doctor, but being in an apocalypse teaches people a few things. So stitching up a wound was a cake walk. Y/n sat in front of her girlfriend, with her back pack beside her "lift up your shirt" Y/n ordered.
All Maggie did was sit back on her hands, a smirk plastered on her face. "Don't give me that look, I'm being serious." Y/n added.
Maggie laughed at her girlfriends response "I wasn't thinking anything" she bit her lip, and that was an instant tell. "Mhm." Yep Maggie was busted.
"Lift. Up. Your. Shirt." Y/n repeated, she sounded mad and Maggie knew that there wasn't time for her to be stubborn. So she lifts up her shirt, revealing the blood stained bandage on her abdomen.
"Thank you" Y/n replied, very annoyed. She carefully removes the bandage, getting some stuff from her backpack. A clean patch, needle & thread that they found in a hospital used for stitching a wound shut.
Maggie moved her hand and put her index finger underneath Y/n' chin, making her girlfriend look in her eyes. "Are you mad?" Magpies asked.
"I am mad! You don't need to pretend around me Maggie, I know you hate being vulnerable, but you need to stop being so stubborn because I care about you and it upsets me when you have no regard for yourself." Y/n mentions.
Maggie gives Y/n a sad smile, she was about to lean in to kiss her girlfriend but Y/n went back to the task of patching her up. Using a piece of clean fabric and putting some disinfectant on it, Y/n presses it lightly on her girlfriends wound. Maggie winced, she knew it would sting.
"I'm sorry if this hurts you, Maggie" Y/n apologised beforehand. As she got the needle and thread ready to stitch up the wound. "It's okay, I'm used to it." Maggie added.
After what seemed like forever, Y/n had stitched the wound on her girlfriend and patched it up. "Please don't pop any stitches." Y/n mentioned but it would be difficult to not do so, and both women knew that.
Y/n leaned down to Maggie' patched up wound kissing above it gently. Before looking back in her girlfriends eyes, inching closer to her as they sat on the floor. Maggie smirked again, putting her shirt back down and taking Y/n by surprise as she moves her onto her lap in one swift motion.
"Maggie your stitches!" Y/n warned. "I'm sorry, Y/n." Maggie added. "I just can't help myself" Maggie chuckled. Pulling Y/n into a kiss, attempting to not pop the stitches she just gave her.

Pairing - glenn Rhee x fem!reader and Glenn Rhee x Maggie Greene
Warnings - mentions of cheating, cursing
‘The worst thing that I’ve ever did was what I did to you’
August - betty - cardigan
"You had sex with Maggie?" her heart broke into a million pieces; she didn't expect the person she loved so dearly to break her heart. his mouth fell open as he stuttered "y-y/n-" she didn't let him finish his sentence, she slams the rv door closed and turns around with tears falling down her cheeks.
"shit" Glenn muttered as he got up and ran after her. by the time he was outside it seemed like she was miles away. once he got to her, he grabbed her wrist "y/n honey I-I didn't mean for you to find out like that." at this point tears as streaming down her cheeks as she tried pulling her wrist out of his grip, but he wouldn't let go. "Fuck you, Glenn let go" she cried as she still tried pulling away. "no! we need to talk y/n" there was no talking needed she knew everything she needed to know.
"I don't want to talk to you!" he felt really bad, he really did. he hated seeing her hurt. he hated the fact that he hurt her. they had now caught the attention of almost everyone in the group. y/n was still trying to pull away from Glenns tight grip. "We need to talk!" she shook her head as tears kept falling "I told you I don't wanna!"
"What the hell's goin' on over here?" rick asked as he walked up with Shane following. y/n's still trying to pull away when Shane said "come on man let go of her" Glenn reluctantly let go as he whispered "y/n come on talk to me" as y/n swiftly turned around walking towards her and Glenns shared tent. she hated the fact that she'd either have to sleep outside or next to him. "y/n come on- I-I'm sorry."
"What the hell did you do?" Shane asked with brows furrowed as they watched y/n storm off. "Fucked up...I fucked up" Glenn whispered as he turned around to see Maggie stood on her father's porch. she rolled her eyes as they made eye contact.
Glenn gives y/n time to cool down he doesn't want to piss her off even more. he sits in dales rv contemplating what he's going to do to get y/n back. the worst thing that he had ever did was this, hurting her. would she let him talk to him, would she even trust him?
y/n sat in her and Glenns shared tent, the only way anyone could identify that she was there was because of the quiet sobs coming from the tent. she hated him, how could he do that to her. after 7 years he just threw it all away. she could handle this type of heartbreak, he had been her first love, her first real boyfriend, she felt like she had wasted her entire life.
to say Maggie felt horrible was an understatement. she had torn two people apart on accident. she didn't know that what she told herself over and over again to try and make herself feel better, but it didn't work. she needed to talk to y/n and explain what had happened. Maggie felt heartbroken too, but it wasn't the same, and she knew it wasn't the same because he wasn't hers to lose.
when Maggie went over to y/n and Glenns tent y/n was still inside the tent crying. "Hey? y/n?" Maggie called out. y/n didn't want to talk to anyone, she just wanted to sit with her emotions, but she reluctantly pulled herself together and muttered an almost inaudible "what?" through sniffles. if Maggie wasn't so close to the tent, she wouldn't have even heard y/ns quiet words.
"I wanted to just say I'm sorry." y/n was tired of sorry, a sorry wasn't going to fix what was already broken. "He um....I asked him if he had a girlfriend before I even offered and he said he didn't." he lied, she really didn't understand did he really just not love her anymore? did he hate her so much that he thought it would be fun to fuck with me like this? her now knowing that he lied crushed her heart again. "oh" y/n mumbled as she begun to crawl out of the tent. "And I wouldn't have even offered if I knew you were together."
y/n stood up facing Maggie with her arms crossed over her chest, her cheeks tear stained, and her eyes red. "I-I we were together for 7 years." y/n whispers, "I love him so much...I don't know why he would do this to me" she cries as fresh tears start to fall down her cheeks.
Glenn watches from afar, he was going to talk to y/n when he saw Maggie and her talking. he just wanted to squeeze y/n so tight and tell her he loved her, because he really did. he loved her so much and never wanted her to think the opposite, but obviously she thinks that now. he wanted to make it up to her, show her how much he loved her, but he didn't think she'd let him.
"y/n?" he took a few steps forward toward the two girls. "i'll let you guys talk" maggie said as she quickly walked away. glenn walks closer and tries to take y/ns hands in his "y/n hon-" but she quickly cuts him off as she slaps his hands away "dont touch me" her words were full of hate, her words stab him right in the heart. it breaks his heart knowing that he's made the girl that once had nothing but love for him hate him. "y/n- im sorry please im sorry" he's begging for her to take him back but she wont, atleast right now. a sorry isnt going to make her trust him again.
"im leaving, ill find some where else to sleep" she whispers, he shakes his head as he tries once again to touch her but she steps back. 'you-you dont have to sleep here" she shakes her head "i dont want to" the tent was full of too many memories. memories of the sleepless nights where he'd hold her and press sweet kisses to her neck and shoulders, memories of all the love she once had for him.
-
y/n doesn't even talk about Glenn for the next few days. the only time his name is even mentioned in her head is at night when she curls up and lets herself cry. Glenn hates himself; he hates that he hurt her. he needs to talk to her, he needs to win her back, but he doesn't even know how to do it. he spent the few days after the day y/n had found out fantasying about how he'd explain everything, and she'd kiss him and forgive him. he knows that that might not happen though, y/n wouldn't even look at him.
at night he'd fall asleep and dream of her forgiving him and taking him back. he dreamed of her soft hands on his face, and her soft lips against his, he dreamed of being able to hold her in his arms again, he dreamed of her being his again.
when he finally had the balls to go to dales rv, where she had been staying for the past couple of day, it was late. the sun was setting, and everyone was getting ready to go to bed. dale and Andrea were on top of the rv still keeping watch as he walked up to the rv. dale wasn't going to step in unless he heard screaming, but he was sure that wouldn't happen. Glenn makes sure to knock on the door before walking in. y/n is sat at the table with her elbows propped up against it. "What do you want?" she asks. he slowly walks toward her "I-I want to talk" she rolls her eyes but ends up muttering a quiet "fine" and scooting over so he could sit next to her. he smiles and takes a seat next to her. he missed her so much, even though it had only been a few days he just missed everything about her.
"y/n I'm so sorry" he whispered; she nods in response. she can tell he's sorry, and she knows what he's going to ask. he's going to ask her to give him another chance, but she doesn't think she can trust him again. "why'd you do it?" she asked, he's a little taken aback by the question, he doesn't even know how to answer it because he doesn't know why he did it. "I-I don't know." he whispered. he knows his answer is pathetic, he can't even make an excuse for himself. she scoffed and turned away from him. he decided just to go for it what's the worst that could happen? "y/n honey please give me one more chance I miss you so much" he whispers as he grabs her arm. she turns toward him, and Glenns heart fills with hope. she takes her hand and places it to his cheek before pressing her lips to his. Glenn is about to cry because he didn't think he'd ever get to kiss her again, but y/n just wanted one last kiss. one last kiss before she lets go of him forever. she pulls away just as he kisses back. his brows furrowed together as y/n said "Glenn I-I can't, I don't trust you anymore."
his breath gets caught in his throat, and tears form in his water line. she didn't trust him, that was the only thing going through his mind. she really didn't trust him anymore, but can he blame her? he caused this and he knows it. "y/n- no please I didn't mean to hurt you" he pleaded his grip around her arm tightening. "Glenn, I love you I really do but I can't trust that you won't hurt me again." but she loved him, she said she loved him. if she loved him, why couldn't she take him back, Glenn didn't understand. his brows furrowed together as a tear fell down his cheek. "b-but I won't." he whispered. she feels like she's punishing herself more than she's punishing him, but she's already made up her mind and didn't want him to have the expectation of him being able to take advantage of the fact that she had a soft spot for him. she hated seeing him cry but he needed to know that just because she still loved him doesn't mean the relationship would even work anymore.
"Glenn, I can't give us another chance, but we can be friends."

Request/Drabble: (TWD) The Wanderers- Maggie Greene: You + Me
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All Maggie has been thinking about is the toy she bought to use on her beautiful sexy girlfriend. It’s a boring a hole into her brain, she can imagine your moans and the way your nicely manicured fingernails will feel dragging down her back as you pull her closer to you to feel her. To ground yourself in your orgasm. She only hopes that the clock will tick by faster as this stupid job so she can get up and out of her office and back home to you.
The toy sits tucked behind the drivers seat wrapped in a discreet black bag because Maggie had ended up going to one of those 18+ stores that you see on the side of the highway as you drive. The other part of the toy is already shipped and has already arrived at the house, and that’s to is discreetly disquieted as something of just an ordinary package. Maggie slams the door shut to her car and waits a moment. Breathing in deeply once and out slowly. She puts the car into reverse and listens to music has the fills only a small part of her distracted mind.
Tumblr media
You on the other hand have been staring at the damn box that’s sitting on your island in the middle of the kitchen. It’s got Maggie’s name on it, but a part of you just wants to open the box. You both have agreed that you wanted to add something to your sex life you hadn’t skipped a beat when you brought up the fact that you would love to have her fuck you. Not with her tongue; her fingers; or a toy you already had stashed away for a rainy day. You wanted something new, you wanted to give all your power away, wanted her to take you and pin you down to the bed as she fucked you hard just like you deserved it.
You eye the box unwilling to open the brown package as you order pizza from your phone. The pizza delivery gets there just in time for Maggie to be pulling into the driveway. She looks tense, her shoulders are bunched up by her ears, and the RBF has taken hold of your girlfriend’s rather beautiful features. You thank the man that has deilivered your food, and leave the door open for your girlfriend.
The slamming of the front door should tell you that her day was like shit and that shes running on fumes, so you stay quiet while getting plates out for dinner. The smell of pizza whafts through the house, Maggie wants to say "Pizza again" But she doesn't. She can see the drain that sits behind your eyes and how you've changed clothes. A fluffy set of pj's sit on your curves.
The pj's are laying on the floor, and the pizza boxes sits in the trash bin outside. Y/n is laying so perfectly on the bed, it had started off as cheese and marina sauce kisses. Turned into greasy hands that groped at the edges of each other clothes and skin.
"Fuck you're so beautiful." Maggies whispers into the skin of her girlfriend. Eveything feels hieghten, like they haven't this way in a long time. Work taking up most of their time. The two of them are in the playing mood now, Maggie is still halfway dresses but you are laying on the bed stark naked. She loves how you will undress for her in a matter of seconds never once having to be told.
The inside of your thighs are covered in purple hickies, along with bite marks. You had begged her to mark you up. Even in the hot summer months you loved showing off that you were hers, and she loved knowing that everyone knew you were hers.
"I see you didn't open the package that arrived today." Maggie says as she stands up from between your aching thighs. You hums unable to think of words as your first ogasam wrecks through your body. "Such a good girl waiting for me to surprise you." Maggie mutters as she grabs that package off the bedroom side table. Your eyes light up when she pulls out a rather huge looking dildo. Had she been looking at your private search history becasue it seems like the one you had been eyeing for nearly two weeks. "Close your mouth unless you wanna use it." Maggie says pulling you out of your thoughts and back to reality. With your mouth shut you watch as Maggie rummage through thr side table drawers looking for something, and then she licks her lips. "Actaully… when I get back you better be on your knees." She tells you and then she off walking out of the bedroom. You scramble to get onto your shakey knees on the end of the bed.
You hear a few distant sounds but you can't figure out what they are, so you wait patiently. When Maggie finally does come back you can't help but moan at the sight of her. Her pants have been discarded and a strap on has replaced them. Her lace tights are the only peice of clothings she's got on. Your pussy aches for the dildo to slip in.
Within moments Maggie is standing in front of you with the strap on and dildo weighing heavy in front of your face. You swallow hard and wait for her okay to start. When she nods you take the first lick of many to the silicone dildo. It tastes of plastic but the eye contact you've got going on with Maggie washes over all of your senses. "Fuck we should have done this ages ago baby." Maggie tells you, her hand falling to your hair to pull you up closer on the dildo. Maggies has your gagging and spit dripping out of your motuh before long, and when the didlo falls from your mouth it's also dripping with your spit. "Think it's ready yet baby?" Maggie asks all sweetly. You nod with vigour as you rubs your thighs together.
"Come on then baby, get up to the bed so I can fuck you properly." Her words are always so dirty in the bedroom. She slaps your ass as your move around to the bed. You fall onto your elbows with your ass high in the air. "Lookin' so good like this baby. So fuckin' wet for me. You like suckin' my cock that much huh." Maggie tease, you feel the bed dip as Maggie gets behind you. Your breath trembles as you feel the tip of the cold but wet dildo play at your entrance.
The dildo is bigger then any other toy that you two play with, but it's not the girth of the toy that throws you its the feeling of Maggies warm soft skin slapping agasint yours. The sounds fills the room, and your ears. Pushing you further and further into a deep space of contentment.
With the first few thrusts out of the way, your pussy starts to flutter around the silicone. It's Maggies words that end up pushing you over the edge for the second time during the night. You weren't ready for the breeding kink that falls from her lips to your dazed ears.
"Look at this ass, shakin' as I fuck you so good" Maggie mutters as her hands grip at your hip bones. "Fuck I know you can be louder then that baby." Your moans fill the room alongside the skin slapping together. "Come on baby, squeezin' me so good I just know you wanna get all filled up." You moan and squeeze the sheets impossibly tighter. "Oh that's what you want huh, such a cum slut. Want me to breed your tight little pussy baby?" You moans and gush around the silicone dildo as your head falls into the white sheets.
Maggie continues to fuck your your over senstive clit, and pussy. Using you and abusing your pussy until your come for the a third time. It's not until your begging her, screaming forr her to stop does she slip the dildo out and collaspe next to you. She murmurs sweetly to you "Good girl takin' me so good." And kisses your forehead a few times before getting up to get some water and a warm washclothes to clean you up.
When she returns your falling asleep, but you don't let that stop the words that fall out. "We should that again." She laughs as she cleans up your thighs. "Yeah we should." Maggies agree, but when you add. "i wanna use it on you next time." Her eyes grow wide with lust and a belly eating fire.

plot: being in love with daryl through the years but he’s clueless
word count: 2639
a/n: hey! i love that you guys have been eating up my Daryl Fics soooo heres another one. this took me sooo long to write so oi hope you enjoy!!
Tumblr media
Atlanta - 1:
"you've been staring at him all day, y/n," Lori said, coming to your side. You were standing by the van, 'helping Dale,' watching Daryl do whatever he was doing in his little area. You offered to help, but the man shooed you off.
"I'm not," you told her; she gave you the mom look she gave Carl, making you cave. "okay, so what if I am?"
"Just be careful, hunny," she told you, "he's not the type to realize his or your feelings."
"I know," you told Lori. This wasn't the first of these conversations, but it was the last time someone told you to be careful.
Atlanta - 2:
"If yer trying to fish here, yer in the wrong spot," Daryl said as he came up behind you on a rock, trying to catch fish or just waste the day away.
"I figured," you told him, hitting the empty bucket you had. "I'm just…"
"Tryna' not to be bored?" He asked you. You nodded.
"You want to know how ta' catch fish?" he asked; you smiled and nodded, reeling the cast in and handing him the pol, following him to a different spot and spending the rest of the afternoon taking tips from him on fishing. If someone asked you what you learned, you could only tell them that Daryl's eyes looked almost green in the sunlight.
Farm - 1:
you saw him take his stuff and walk off; he hiked over weeds to his area a yelling distance away. Carol watched you watch the man walking away from the group's solidarity.
"he's stubborn," she commented; you nodded. You faced her, to see she was already watching you. "he's stubborn with his feelings too."
"I know. I know both those things," you told Carol; she nodded. She walked off after patting your back, knowing you knew the unsaid things in the air. You continued working around the group, keeping watch, cooking dinner, and helping with the Greene family. Maggie became a close friend of yours through the days on the farm.
Farm - 2:
"Hey," you said as you stood in the doorway. Daryl glanced up from bed, his shirt half on over his bandages.
"Hey," he said, not responding more to you entering his room.
"Just wanted to check on you."
"Dont need ya to," Daryl said, trying to hide from you more and more. You stood in the doorway still, knowing entering wouldn't go well.
"I didn't ask if you did," you told him. "I'm in the kitchen; shout if you want anything."
Part of you wanted to give more care to him, show him you cared, but you knew him well enough to know he didn't need that from you. He nodded his head at you, and you closed the door again. Then, he walked down back to the kitchen to help Maggie with lunch.
Farm - 3:
"Ya need help," Daryl asked. You were trying to get a sheet of wood up on the window to nail it shit, but you only had two hands. He came up and grabbed the wood from you, holding it up for you
"Thank you," you told him, and he grunted back at you. You finished up nailing in the panels with his help.
"You need any help?"
"Nah, I got it," he said, leaving after helping you. Things were still the same between the two of you, you thought. Daryl, however, couldn't see how he was growing to care for you.
On the road:
You never planned on getting hurt, but it just happened. You, Daryl, Glenn, and Maggie were off in a group scouting a building you had seen. Rick had made the five of you go to keep an eye on each other and get as much stuff as possible. You walked in first, knife in hand, Glenn close behind with a flashlight. Maggie and Daryl took the rear, much to Daryl's dismay.
Once you were all inside the building, you realized this used to be a Military compound, a small one, but it still had some things left inside. There was an airfield outside, probably a small compound not used for much. Once you split off from everyone, you wandered around the shelving units, finding some rations. When you didn't see the ceiling being held up by one of the shelving units and when you accidentally bumped into it, part of the roof came falling down. You yelled as part of it fell on top of you, crushing your ankle. Daryl was the first person over to you, rushing to see what was wrong.
"The roof! I didn't see," you said, grinding your teeth. Daryl stood there, eyes wide at seeing you on the floor with half the ceiling on your leg. "Daryl!" you practically yelled at him. The shock of you yelling shocked him out of his daze, and he rushed to lift the wood off your leg. Glen and Maggie rushed over soon after seeing the aftermath of the roof collapse and Daryl lifting it off you.
"What happened?" Maggie asked as she picked me up. I hobbled a bit, yelping when I put my left leg down. "Shit"
"The roof...I didn't see that it was falling, and the shelves were holding it up," you said, "I think I fucked up my ankle."
"How could ya not look?" Darly said angrily, "Now ya hurt and.."
"Hey, it's fine, Daryl. She didn't know. This could have happened to any of us," Glenn defended. "Let's look for crutches; they have to have some here. After you look around, you find some crammed in the back of a closet and leave the building. Daryl hung back with you while you were trying to walk.
"I shouldenta' yelled," Daryl said, breaking your silence. You nodded, knowing he was only trying to look after you.
"It's okay."
"Nah, it's not," he told you, stopping you from walking any further "Sorry"
"It's okay, Daryl, really. I was stupid anyway."
"Nah, coulda' happened to anyone," he said. During the rest of the walk, you had a small smile, and Daryl had a hand on your back guiding you. He didn't want you to fall again, let alone on his watch.
Prison:
The prison setting took everyone a while to settle into it; Daryl, however, took to it really fast, moving into one of the guard towers. You desperately wanted to be near him again, not only because you knew how you felt but also because he was the only person you felt truly safe around. You watched him go back to that guard station every night after dinner just outside the cell block. You turned back into your bunk at the end of the hall, far from everyone and enough privacy that you felt calm. Carol already knew about your affection for the archer and tried many times to get the two of you to sit next to each other. You moved, always, leaving the spot open for Glenn to take and talk Daryl's ear off about whatever he had found on a run that day. You took your spot next to Maggie, who silently let you watch the archer with no complaints.
That was months ago.
"Why don't you join us on the run tomorrow?" Maggie asked you, "We need to find stuff for Judith."
"Yes, I'll come."
"No, ya won't," Daryl said, walking up behind the two of you outside.
"Daryl, I'm fine. I'm going."
"Then I'm coming'" He said, glaring daggers at the two of you and going to get his bike ready.
"Ass," you muttered to him as he walked away; he didn't seem to hear you.
"He cares," Maggie said as you grabbed the bags by the upper gate. You signed, you knew that but for some reason, he had distanced himself, or maybe you had
"Whatever," you said and made your way down the path. The pickup truck was made for two, and Daryl knew that.
"Hop on," he said, riding up to you. You looked at him, and it seemed like he knew you wanted him there. You climbed on behind him and headed out with the others. The ride was quiet, but it spoke enough about the two of you that no words needed to be spoken.
Daryl and you scouted a house; all was quiet between you two. You found an unopened can of peanut butter and showed it to him, he smiled over at you.
"Who knew we'd find it," he told you, taking it from your hands.
"Guess you're my good luck charm," you told him, grabbing the can back and putting it in your bag. When you glanced back, he was looking at you. "Daryl?"
"Nah, it's nothin'," he said, snapping out of his daze. "I'm looking upstairs," he said, moving away from you and up to the tip floor. You continued rummaging through the downstairs before heading out to the porch and waiting for Daryl.
Prison:
Daryl didn't get jealous. You had never seen him that way. It was early in the morning, everyone was outside, and you were helping Carol with the food prep. One of the guys from the town you saved had a very obvious thing for you. He was younger than you, but it didn't bother him. He made a move that morning in Daryl's direct eyesight. He had come over, taking your ear off, and then he got close, trying to grab or touch you. You had stepped away, trying to tell him that you didn't see him like that and that he needed to give you space. He didn't listen. Daryl barged over and tugged the guy back from you.
"Didn't ya hear? She said to back off," Daryl said, putting himself between him and you.
"Oh, shit! Hi Daryl!" the guy said, unaware that Daryl could rip this guy to shreds. You put your hand on his bicep, feeling it flex under your touch.
"I'm fine," you told him calmly. He looked back at you, seeing that you were relieved he stopped in but worried he would rip the guy to shreds.
"Good," he said, pushing the guy back, "don't ya go near her again," the guy nodded, running off, getting the message.
On the run:
You were with Daryl and Beth, wandering around the unfamiliar world. It was a miracle that you found Beth during the invasion and even more so that Daryl made a B-line for you. When the three of you started on your journey, it was slow. Daryl watched for the two of you Until Beth was taken in the night.
"Beth!" you yelled, "Beth!"
"C'mon," Daryl said, tugging you back from the road and away from the walker's grouping. "Well, find her."
You walked after that car for miles until your feet couldn't take it, and you collapsed. Daryl wanted to drop beside you, but he couldn't.
That was when the real test of being back out in the world came. These men that Daryl didn't want to join but did anyway made your skin crawl. The way they looked at you, the way they wanted you, it made you sick. Daryl quickly understood the rules, realizing I got no say in anything in this group and was merely seen as an item for the taking.
"She's mine," He said, causing the boys upfront to look back at the two of you. You were behind Daryl, per his request. "Aint no one touching her."
"Boss! He can't do that," one yelled.
"Rules are rules," the boss said, "She's his."
Still didn't stop looking or not sleeping. Daryl noticed it; of course, he did.
There was one man both of you knew who didn't care about the rules. One night in particular proved this to Daryl and the rest of the men. He had left you no longer than a few minutes in a different direction than you out in the woods when the man sprung on you. You tried to grab your knife, but he was already prepared to stop you. You were helpless as he tried to get his way with you.
"Don't scream now," he said, with his hand over your mouth, suppressing any screams you tried to get out. You started hitting him, making him yell back in pain from it. "Crazy bitch” he said, slapping you.
"Daryl!" you yelled, scrambling to get up. The man behind you grabbed your leg, making you fall to the ground. "Daryl!" you screamed again, knowing that was your last attempt at calling for the archer. Your breath was completely knocked out of you. You heard fast-moving, crunching footsteps as the man tried to turn you over, and then, nothing. You turned, seeing an arrow between his eyes and the man falling back. You scrambled away, trying to catch your breath as Daryl jumped to hold you.
"I'm sorry," he said into your hair as you held onto him, too shoved to say a word. The world became quiet in his arms.
On the run:
The road to salvation was long. The group had been walking for days; hope was dwindling. You lagged, not having much energy for things anymore. Daryl is always stuck by your side, never leaving the comfort of your space. He had been quiet for a while, keeping his thoughts locked away. You stopped walking, alerting Daryl but not the others.
"Hey?" he asked, looking back at you and watching him.
"somethings wrong with you, and you won't tell me," you told him, matter a fact. "I know there is."
'aint nothin'"
"Nothing? Really? You haven't left my side since the…¦," you said, drifting off, not wanting to mention the near attack you had. "Since you know when I feel like I can't breathe without you worrying."
"I.."
"What is wrong?" you pressed; Maggie had seen that you had stopped and told the others to slow the pace a bit. You knew she probably understood that what was happening with the two of you needed to be talked about away from the group, so she kept them moving slowly. "I can't stand to see ya hurt anymore," he told me, knowing somethin' was on his mind. "I can't stand thinkin' somethin' happen if i leave ya"
"Daryl, that's not your responsibility," you said.
"maybe it should be," Daryl said.
"What?"
"I care about you a lot" he said, looking down, "I love ya"
The world stopped when he said those words, something he had never even said to Carol or Rick, ever or often. You took his hands in yours, making him look at you.
"I have loved you since we were on that mountain in Atlanta," you told him, "I have always loved you."
"ya have?"
"How could I not, Daryl?" you said; he smiled a bit, something you had not seen in a very long time.
"You my woman now," he told you, "you've been mine since I told those men you were."
"I'll always be yours; you never have to worry about that."
Extra:
Alexandria: (years later)
"How long have I been an idiot?" Daryl asked Carol. They were both lounging on the porch in Alexandria, watching you chase after a little brown-haired girl. She was only two, but she had spirit. You were smiling so big that Daryl felt like his heart was melting.
"You've been an idiot for as long as she's been in love with you
ain't helping" Daryl said, shoving Carol a bit.
"I think you started falling for her when we were in Prison"
"yea…your right"
"You were stubborn to let yourself feel until you almost lost her," Carol said. Daryl nodded, not wanting to admit that it took a life-or-death situation for him to truly know he couldn't ever lose you.

Daryl Dixon x fem!Greene reader
Content Includes: panty sniffing, masturbation, caught, oral(m receiving)
Tumblr media
Daryl knew he shouldn't go into your room but the door was open and he just couldn't help it.
Daryl has had feelings for you ever since he and the rest of the Atlanta group arrived at your daddy's farm. He knew it was wrong as you were so much younger than him, but he couldn't help how he reacted to your kindness and soft touches.
You took in the sight of your pale pink walls and flowery bedspread. He sat down on your bed when he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. He got up and walked over realising it was a pink lacy pair of panties. Your panties. He tried to leave and pretend he never saw them but his feet were planted to the floor. After arguing with himself as to what to do he eventually decided one little look wouldn't hurt.
He picked them up and noticed a stain on the center of the fabric. He silently groaned and mentally kicked himself before bringing the material up to his nose and inhaling your natural scent. You were out scavenging with Maggie, Rick, and Glenn so he thought he should have enough time to rub one out real quick. He didn't have time to think before his cock was out and he had your panties covering his nose. He began to stroke his cock. Slowly at first until the pace got too unbearable. He speeds up his movements and is on the brink of his orgasm when you open the door.
“Daryl?” You look at him. He immediately starts fumbling around trying to cover himself up, hoping you hasn’t seen what he was doing.
“It’s okay. As long as you were thinking about me. You were thinking about me, right?” You ask.
His face turns beet red and he nods.
“Good” you reply and shut the door behind you.
“Thought ya were on a run?” He asks.
“Got cut short. Herd of walkers came us. Had to get outta there quickly.” You reply and he hums in response. He pick your panties up off the floor and push Daryl back onto your bed. You shove the panties in his mouth and furrows his brows.
“You gotta keep quiet somehow. Don’t want someone hearin us now do we?” You ask and he shakes his head.
“Good boy” you praise and his cock twitches at your words.
You pulls down his pants and boxers.
“Looks like somebody’s close already” you say taking in the sight of his cock. It’s girthy and about 7 inches with a thick vein running the length of it and an angry red tip oozing precum.
He moans into your panties when you wrap your small hand around his dick. You give it a few pumps causing a slew of moans try to escape him but are muffled by your panties in his mouth. You bring your lips down to place kisses on his balls before taking all of him in your mouth. You bring hands down to fondle his balls and he thrusts up into your mouth. He shoots his load down your throat and when he’s done you remove your lips from him with a pop and remove your panties from his mouth.
His breathing slowly returns to normal when he asks you “what was tha for?”
“If you mean me giving you the best blowjob of your life then it’s because I have feeling for you and I’m guessing you have feelings for me.” You reply.
“Do you have feelings for me?” You ask.
“Yeah. I do” he admits not meeting your gaze. You tilt his chin up so his eyes meet yours.
“Good. Cause I’m not done with you yet” you smirk.

“y/n!” Maggie wrapped her arms around your shoulders and pulled you in a hug, but dropped all of her weight on you. you let out a noise of surprise and pulled her up, “hey, sweetheart.” you laughed, brushing some of her hair away from her face. “have you been drinking?” you questioned, and Maggie giggled.
“a tinnyyyy bit. Carol invited me over for wine while you were on your run.” Maggie poked your face as she said that. “ah, that’ll do it. drinking with Carol.” you hummed. “we talked about you.” she giggled again.
you raised your eyebrows, “yeah? what were you saying about me, love?” Maggie began tracing shapes into your skin, “about how… pretty you are. and… how you’re so strong. you’re really, really strong. did you know that?”
“i did know that. you like that i’m strong?” Maggie nodded repeatedly. “i love that you’re strong. you look so hot when you’re beating people up.”
you laughed again. “why don’t we get you to bed, love? you’re gonna have a huge headache in the morning.” Maggie gasped, “you want to sleep with me?! that’s so inappropriate.” she whispered the last word like it was scandalous.
“no, Maggie. to actually sleep, no sex tonight.” you told her, pulling her arm so she would stand up with you. Maggie stumbled and fell into your grasp. “okay, keep holding onto me, sweetheart. we’re almost there.”
you managed to walk Maggie all the way to your shared bedroom and gently sat her down on the bed. Maggie hadn’t stopped staring at you the entire time, so you leaned down to meet her eyes. “what’s on your mind, Maggie?”
“i really like you.” she whispered. “i would hope so. we’ve been married for a year.” you giggled, and Maggie shook her head. “no, like… i really like you. i think… i think i love you too. yeah. i love you. a lot.”
you couldn’t help but smile widely. “i love you a lot too, Maggie.” you leaned forward and pressed a short but sweet kiss to her lips. “now let’s get to bed.”
Tumblr media
you started working on the garden in Hilltop early in the morning, that’s when the newly grown vegetables were most fresh. Carol was working on cleaning clothes, and some of the others were doing their own thing.
as you began to replant the last section of seeds, you heard the front door of the main building open and close. you turned around and watched as Maggie slowly, very slowly, walked down the stairs while holding her head. you stood up and ran over to her.
“good morning, love.” you laughed as Maggie dropped her head into your neck. “did you take the pills and water i left for you?” Maggie nodded. “yes, thank you.”
“ah, look who finally woke up.” Carol’s voice came from behind you. “you are quite the drunk, Maggie.” you laughed again when Maggie groaned into your neck. “who else did you tell?” Maggie asked you.
“totally not me.” Rosita suddenly said, “but i agree, Maggie. isn’t Y/N like… super strong?” you tried to bit your lip to contain your laughs, but failed. “you’re terrible.” Maggie whined.
“i’m sorry, love. it was too funny not to tell everyone.” her eyes widened slightly. “everyone?”
you gave her a nervous smile. “i love you.” you told her, in hopes it would let you off the hook. she gave you a brief glare, “you are so lucky i love you back.”
you pressed a kiss to her head. “i’m extremely lucky to have someone like you love me back.”

The past few days, after having found the Greene’s Farm, both Glenn and you had gotten pretty close. Feelings growing over the times you’ve bonded with him over random little things or through moments you’ve shared together.
If you were honest, you had fallen for him a bit. Or maybe a lot. Either way, he was everything you wished for in a partner.
You and Glenn had spent a lot of time together; so much that everyone in the group could tell how much you both liked each other. It was nice, seeing two people bonding and falling love in the middle of a damn apocalypse. That was what everyone thought. Everyone but Maggie Greene.
The way she would glare at you after you talked to Glenn made you a bit nervous. You could just tell she hates your guts for getting to Glenn first. But there was still a possibility that she could get her chance of winning him over. Not if you kept Glenn interested.
— — —
Maggie and Glenn were getting ready to go on a run to a pharmacy nearby. You had been wanting some basic necessities that you haven’t been able to get your hands on. So this was perfect. All you had to do was make a quick list of the items and give it to Glenn.
You spot them both getting the horses’ saddles on their back, tightening the straps. So you ran up to Glenn with your list, written on a cute Post-it.
“Hey, Glenn!” You shout his name, getting closer to him as he turns his attention to you. Just at the sight of you makes a smile tug at the corner of his lips. The same smile you dearly love. A smile made just for you to see.
“Hey,” he utters breathlessly, your presence taking his breath away. You smile back at him, fidgeting with the Post-it in your hands as you stare into each other's eyes. “Um, I made a short list of some items I need.”
He nods, listening to you. His full attention was on you and that only made your heart race. “So, if you don’t mind, could you get them for me?” You tilt your head, biting your bottom lip as you ask him.
You hand him the list before tucking your hands in the back pocket of your jeans. “Yeah, yeah, sure.” He scans the list, smiling down at it. “Anything for you,” he blurts out, making you let out a short laugh.
Your gaze falls to the grass, smiling as he lets out a shy chuckle. “Thanks, Glenn.” He pats the back of his head, pulling down on the cap he always wore. He just nods, grinning, his eyes staring at your beautiful face. Oh, how he wishes he could kiss you and tell you how much he loves you.
“Are you coming or not?” Maggie’s Southern voice interrupts Glenn’s thoughts and that short moment you shared. Causing you to turn around, just to find her on her horse. Her eyes were only on Glenn, not wanting to spare you a glance. Not that you wanted her to.
Sensing her jealously, you sigh and ignore her. Your gaze falls back on Glenn, who by the way, isn't aware of the tension between you and her. “Be safe out there,” you remind him, your voice laced with gentleness all while staring into his eyes.
Maggie can’t help but roll her eyes, hating the way Glenn stared into your eyes. At that moment, she really wished it was her instead of you. She ends up turning her head to look away, her brows slightly furrowed. “So?”
Her jealousy was obvious, so much that it irritated you. Can’t she get it? Glenn and you were obviously interested in each other and maybe as well made for each other. However, this didn't stop her from making moves on Glenn. Somehow, he fails to see the obvious signs Maggie gives him.
Honestly, it made you feel bad for her.
Glenn breaks his loving gaze from yours to glance up at Maggie. “Oh, right. Yeah.” He shakes his head as he folds your Post-it and carefully places it inside his bag, not wanting to lose it.
He gets on his horse looking down at you as he fixes his cap, his short dark hair peeking out a bit. “I’ll come back.” His lips form a sheepish smile, “Uh, with your necessities.” He adds on. You really loved the way he stared at you, his eyes full of admiration and love.
“I’ll see you then,” you wave at him, starting to walk backward slowly, careful not to fall. “Yeah,” he turns around, patting the horse's head as it snorts, just making Glenn jump a little. You smile at the small interaction before he begins to make his way behind an annoyed Maggie.

She noticed it first before you did — I mean, how could you? Not when your face was down and your ass up, her strap buried deep inside of you from behind.
The mirror hung over her dresser which faced her bed, giving the brunette a full view of the both of you. She got an eyeful of your rump curved and smacking her hips whenever she'd slam into.
"Look at that." She said in awe. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, your head lifting up on instinct due to your curiosity and in displeasure at the fact that her thrusts grew into slower, longer strokes.
Your body flushes in embarrassment at the sight of your compromising position, a whine slipping through your lips.
"Mags…"
She just chuckled, placing her lithe, callused work worn hand on your full ass. Her eyes followed her own motion, zeroing in on the way her fingers sunk into your plush flesh, leaving indents the harsher her grip grew.
"Ya look so pretty." She cooed, winding her hips back to shove back into. You cried out, your fingers gripping on the sheets to yourself balanced.
"Do I?" You couldn't help but ask breathlessly. You arched your back more, your naked breasts pressing further into the mattress. It was your pathetic attempt to get the toy deeper inside of you.
"Of course, honey. So, so gorgeous."

Daryl x Fem! Reader
You and Daryl had never gotten along since the farm. You two bickered like a married couple, always spewing hatred at each other. What happens when you finally snap?
Warnings: 18+ MINORS DNI! smut, some aggression, cursing

God he is just insufferable you thought to yourself. “I’m tellin’ you Y/N if you ain’t gon’ do this right then go help Carol in tha’ kitchen or somethin'!” Daryl yelled at you.
You and him were currently stuck killing the walkers that built up along the face of your new home, a run down prison. You met the group when you’d been staying at the Greene farm, you were an old friend of Maggie’s. Daryl and you had never hit it off, even though you tried, well…tried at first. You soon got tired of trying to be friendly and thus created a fiery rift of tension and annoyance towards each other.
You wiped off your knife and put it in the holster, walking away. “Now where tha’ hell you think you’re goin’, girl?” Daryl yelled after you. You turned around wiping the sweat off your head and holding your arms up, “Going to my rightful place, in the kitchen right? To go help carol?” Your arms slapped against your thighs and you continued to walk back up to the prison, Daryl scoffed. He couldn’t help looking your way again, squinting in the hot sun, watching your lower half as you walked away, he snapped out of it and mumbled a profanity.
You entered the main common room and slammed your knife down. “What an asshole! That redneck, southern little…UGH'' You grievanced, putting your head in your hands. “The hell happened to you?” Maggie drawled as she placed some supplies she discovered on the table. “Daryl happened, that asshole. Why the hell does he even stick around?” You groaned. Carol walks in, “Oh come on, he’s not that bad…” She spoke softly, pursing her lips at you. “Really? Well he seems to think I'm the devil and root of all evil.” You scoffed and rolled your eyes, grabbing the box from Carol’s hands and putting the supplies away. Maggie looks at Carol, then you and speaks, “Think there’s some tension that needs to be released between you two huh?” Her and Carol bumped their elbows into you. “Oh come on, guys gross. Never touching his greasy, sweaty…” You lost your train of thought. You hauled another box away, “Not. Happening.” and you continued to your bunk.
Few hours later, you're sharpening your knife in your bed as you hear Rick and Daryl’s voices grow closer. “...your guy’s schedules just line up, and you're my two strongest…I can't change the shifts now..” Rick spoke to Daryl. “Come on, Rick. We can’t work together, she’s the biggest brat…” Daryl drawled. You shot out of bed and opened your curtain, leaning against the banister. “I’m the brat huh?” You yelled down to Daryl as he stood below the elevated walkway. “And you’re an asshole who cares about himself and no one else, dick.” You continued to spew. You made your way down with your towel and such to shower. Daryl followed you, “You got another thing comin’ girl acting like this. Always walkin’ away when it gets hard.” He continued to follow you into the shared bathroom space. You dropped your things on a shelf and shoved him backwards. “You have no respect for me Daryl! Ever since we met you’ve been nothing but a no good, disrespectful, misogynistic assshole.” You turned around, but he pulled you back around with a tight grip on your shoulder.
He got in your face, “You done?” He drawled, “Not even clos-'' All the sudden he grabbed both sides of your face and pulled you in to meet each other's lips. You pushed him away, breathing heavily looking at him. You both met in the middle in a violent battle. He gripped your hips and pushed you into the wall, hands traveling everywhere they shouldn't be. “Nngh…Daryl…oh…hold on wait.” You pulled away. He looked at you, “What the fuck are we doing?” You questioned. “I don't know-” he started and you cut him off. “Fuck it.” and you grabbed him by the back of the head. His hands went to your hair and tugged, sweat building up between the both of you. “Maybe…unh..this is what we needed.” Daryl spoke between kisses. “Shut up” You said. His large calloused hands traveled up your tank top, and landed on your breasts. God, you were so touch starved, you can't even remember the last time you got it in. You grab the bottom hem of his shirt and push it off him, the sweat and muscles finally coming into view. He decided to take your tank top off, and his mouth went straight to your breasts. “Unh, ngh, Daryl jesus…” You whispered. You look down, and see his bright blue eyes looking right back up at you. Your head falls back at the view and then you lift his head, bringing his lips back to yours. “What about this down here…this ok?” Your hands trailed down his abdomen, fingers fluttering at his waist band. He looked at you and he nodded, biting his lip lightly.
His hands then started to travel down your pants, going over your clothed mound. As your hand travels around his cock, he plunges a finger inside your wet cavern. He groaned, “Jesus, girl, you always get wet like this?” He kisses under your ear, continuing his attack on your pussy. “Should have done this…ngh…sooner” You moaned. He added a second finger and you moaned out, losing focus on your job taking place under his boxers. “What, now you’re gonna listen to me, honey, hmm?” He drawled and you wanted to roll your eyes, but looked up at him, bit your lip, and nodded. “Yeah?” He smiled slightly. He curled his fingers up and you dug your fingers into his bulging bicep. “Come on, girl, come on I know you, I’ve got you…” He whispered into your ear and you whimpered and moaned into his mouth as he plunged his tongue into your mouth. “Daryl…D, please.” You begged. “I'll get you there, come on, do it for me, on my fingers, girl.” You shuttered and moaned out, biting into his shoulder to hold back. The rubber band snapped and you tensed up on his fingers, “Jesus…christ, Daryl…oh my god” You moaned as you came on his fingers. Daryl held you up, “Still hate me?” He asked. You lifted your head from his chest, looking up at him raising a brow. “I don't know…maybe we each have to do some convincing…” You smiled. “Then we got a long night in for us, baby” he spoke as he pulled you into another kiss.
“You know, it's been four hours and they're still down there. Should we check on them?” Maggie giggled. Rick rolled his eyes, “At least there’s peace between em’ now. Sexual tension was getting too much for me.” He chuckled.

Warnings - kidnapping, mentions of guns, mentions of murder, normal twd warnings
Summary - after the world ended you were sure you’d never find love again but a certain archer catches your eyes and changes the entire trajectory of your life.
(A/N) - it’s finally here! A few weeks ago I proposed the idea of the governor being readers estranged father, there were mixed feelings about it. I hint at it in this chapter but don’t explicitly say that he is her dad so if you guys don’t like it then I can just scrap it. Also this is a long one.
'Made to suffer.'
season 3 ep 8
Upon arriving in the town, the sun had already set, and the night welcomed the crickets' chirps. The town was fortified by a towering gate, manned by a pair of vigilant guards who took turns keeping watch. We crouched behind a parked car, peering through the darkness as the male guard patrolled back and forth, his eyes scanning the night for any signs of danger. The stillness of the air was only broken by the soft rustling of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl in the distance. Rick peers out from behind a few bushes to see what we are dealing with before taking a few steps back and crouching down.
Rick's voice was hushed as he handed his rifle to Oscar. "Alright, we need to downsize," he said, his eyes scanning the vicinity. Daryl nodded in agreement. "Ain't no way we're gonna check in all them buildings," he muttered, his eyes fixed on the numerous structures in front of them. "Not with all them guards there," he added, his tone heavy with concern. Suddenly, the sound of a twig snapping echoed in the silence, causing all three men to turn in alarm. Their hearts racing, they held their breath, waiting to see what had caused the noise. It was Michonne, stepping on a dry twig. Michonne mouths something to the three men before slowly retreating. All three of their hearts are beating a mile a minute. I can almost hear them. Rick takes a deep breath before saying, "Alright, let's go."
As we approached the town, we searched for a way to enter without being noticed. After scouting the area, we discovered an unguarded opening in the fence surrounding the town. With cautious steps, we made our way into the exterior unused area of the town, careful not to attract any unwanted attention. As we crept towards the building where Michonne had been held captive during her stay at Woodbury, our hearts raced with anticipation and fear. Rick thinking that the people who had taken Glenn and Maggie might reuse that room for them decided we should check in there first. coincidently that building also led into the main area of the town, so if Glenn and Maggie aren't there, we can just sneak out into the main area of the town and look around for them there.
The building or well room we got into is dark and quiet, there's no sign of anyone or any signs that anyone had been inside recently.
"This is where you were held?" Rick asks Michonne as we slowly make our way through the room. "I was questioned." Michonne corrects rick. "Any idea where else they could be?" Rick asks, brows furrowing as he looks around for any clues that Glenn and Maggie might have even stepped foot in the room.
Daryl is the first to make it to the front of the building. He drags the flowery patterned curtain back to peer through the window. Although I could not see what Daryl was seeing, I could hear people outside. There were hushed conversations and heavy footsteps along the pavement. Michonne had mentioned a curfew for safety. But there were too many voices and footsteps to only belong to guards. "I thought you said there was a curfew?" Daryl hisses as he turns back towards Michonne. we expected no people to be walking the streets of Woodbury right now so we could sneak out with little to no people seeing us. "The street is packed during the day. Those are stragglers."
"If anyone comes in here, we're sitting ducks. We gotta move."
My heart is racing as I can't shake the thought of finding Glenn dead or not finding him at all. What would I do if he was gone? How would I be able to go on with my life without feeling immense amounts of guilt while experiencing life without him? How would I go about life without him? Who would I talk to? Who would I stay up all night with?
"They could be in his apartment," Michonne suggests. they could, but would this governor guy want two people he had just kidnapped in his apartment? And wouldn't he have to drag both of them through this town during broad daylight when everyone was packing the streets? He'd want to go through the back entrances. Keep them in unused areas while torturing or killing them. So none of the residents heard, saw, or suspected anything. "Yeah, what if they ain't?" Daryl asks as he pushes himself off of the wall he had been leaning on and towards Michonne. he's trying to be threatening I can hear it in his voice.
"Then...we'll look somewhere else," She responds in a nonchalant manner, as if the situation wasn't a big deal, like she's trying to help us find a lost pair of shoes instead of missing people."You said you could help us," I say, placing both hands on my hips. Anger and anxiety are bubbling up in my chest. Tears have been threatening to fall in my eyes ever since I found out Glenn and Maggie were taken, and right now, I just can't think straight.
"I'm doing what I can," As she responded, her face contorted in frustration, her brows furrowing deeply and her eyes squinting. I could feel my trust in her slowly slipping away with every word she spoke. "Then where in the hell are they?" Oscar asks. As if he has known Glenn and Maggie for years. He blended in seamlessly with the group. If he doesn't end up like his friends, he'd be amazing in our group, but it doesn't seem like that'll happen. He's a team player, easy to get along with, and a good man all around.
Rick mutters a quiet "hey" before signaling for us to follow him. The three of us follow him, leaving Michonne by herself. "If this goes sound, we're cutting her loose," Rick whispers. I shove my hands far into my pockets. I didn't have any negative or positive opinions about Michonne. She seemed nice, but a lot of people seemed nice before they stabbed us in the back. Shane did, and we did not want a repeat of Shane, never again. So now we're cautious it's not just Michonne, it's with everyone because of Shane. someone can act like the nicest person ever and have the worst of intentions.
"You think she's leading us into a trap?" Oscar asks. I didn't think so. She didn't seem like the type of person to do anything like that, especially to a group with more women and children than adult men. She didn't even seem like the type to live in a place like that, especially with the way she fought off walkers. There's no way. She had to live on the road for the majority of the outbreak to have that kind of agility and technique. "Right now, it's the blind leadin' the blind. Let's split up," Daryl mutters. a knock at the front door scares the shit out of all of us. We all jump as all our heads snap towards the door. We all scatter behind a wall. My heart beats fast against my chest as I hear the sound of keys jangling before the door gets unlocked and pushed open.
"I know you're in here," I hear a deep male voice with a Southern accent boom through the once-silent building. "I saw ya movin' from outside," the man shouts as his footsteps begin to get louder. "Alright, now. You're not supposed to be in here, and you know it." my breathing begins to pick up as he gets closer and closer. I'm terrified that he'll find us, terrified of what he'll do to us once he finds us. I feel an all too familiar hand press itself flush against my mouth. "Hush, it'll be alright" Daryl mutters against the shell of my ear.
"who's in here?" the man crosses the threshold, entering into the area we are hiding in. Right as the man's footsteps pass the curtain wall we are hiding behind, Rick jumps out at him, pinning the man against the wall with a grunt. The man yelps out in pain, but it's instantly met with Rick's hushed but equally scary voice muttering, "Shut up! Get on your knees. " The man has no time to say or do anything before he's thrown to the ground forcefully by Rick as both Oscar and Daryl walk out from behind Rick. "Hands behind your back," Rick says as he points a gun at the man's face.
Rick looks up at Daryl and instructs him, "Zip, tie him," as the man quickly throws his hands behind his back. The sound of a zip tie tightening around the man's hands is heard, while Rick whispers, "Where are our people?" and keeps his gun pointed at the man. The man has a shocked yet terrified look on his face as he yelps out, "I don't know! I don't know!" Rick pulls the man closer harshly. "You are holding some of our people. Where the hell are they?!"
Even with the gun pointed at the man's face, and Rick's harsh tone, the man continues to insist that he does not know where Glenn and Maggie are. "I don't know!" the man cries out. Rick gives up, realizing that the man doesn't know. rick lowers the gun. "Open your mouth. "Rick then shoves a rag into the man's mouth as the man struggles and grunts through the homemade gag. Daryl then takes his cross bow knocking the man in the back of the head so hard he falls onto the ground.
-
The sounds of screams outside take our attention away from the most likely dead man. Rick cracks the front door open before peering out. I make out the all too familiar golden blaze of a fire outside, casting a glow-like light into the room. Rick slips out before the rest of us follow suit. With all the commotion outside, no one noticed or cared that there was a group of people with guns and a crossbow walking around outside. No one even questioned us. Every person we saw was running, screaming, or crying too much to even want to notice us. We start with off-limits areas and doors that look like they don't belong in this place.
As we stepped into the dimly lit building, a musty smell hit our nostrils. The walls were coated with grime and the floors looked like they hadn't been moped in a decade, and dust floated around the room freely. It was the kind of place that seemed to have been forgotten by time. But as we made our way through the labyrinthine corridors, we couldn't believe our luck when we stumbled upon the exact area we were searching for. It was a scene straight out of a crime thriller - dingy and dangerous, but somehow thrilling at the same time. As soon as we entered, a man was holding the largest gun I had ever seen. He didn't look like someone who was just a resident here. There was no way he was just a resident because Michonne had explained how only staff could carry weapons (guards, governor, right-hand men, and etc.). We quickly press ourselves against the wall as the man begins to walk away.
We all breathed a sigh of relief as the man's heavy footsteps gradually receded. We hastily got up and ran towards another wall, one that had a window placed in a corner uncomfortably. The window was covered in a thick layer of grime, as if it had been neglected for years. The dirt and dust particles had accumulated to such an extent that it was almost impossible to see through it. Even the slightest ray of light that managed to penetrate the filthy surface was distorted, creating a distorted and hazy vision of what lay beyond the window. Fortunately, we could still see the hazy silhouettes of the men who paced around.
I almost jump when a raspy, all too familiar voice cuts through the air like a sharp kitchen knife. A voice I hadn't heard in almost a year, a voice I thought belonged to a dead man. I know it scares Daryl too, because of the look on his face. The shock, the confusion, that man was supposed to be a dead man. But Merle Dixon was the strongest man Daryl had ever known. He said it himself, but there was no way he could've survived out there bleeding out with only one hand. After we came back from the city, Merle completely left our minds. Not only because there were more important things happening then, but also because we thought he had died. Even though we assumed Merle had stolen our truck, we also assumed he died somewhere along the way because he never showed back up at the camp to see if his little brother maybe wanted to come with him.
I knew about their original plan, to steal everything we had and skip town. Daryl had told me sometime between the farm fire, and this spring. He felt guilty, especially then, because of how close he had gotten to all of us in the group. After learning about that, I was sure that Merle had died. If he hadn't, he would have certainly come looking for Daryl. but he didn't.
"We hear the group of men inside the room starting to exit." "shit" Rick grumbles as he stands up, taking out some type of bomb before tossing it and sprinting away, we follow suit sprinting into the shadows as the men begin filing out of the room. As I stand still, I can hear the sound of men's voices from afar. Suddenly, the air fills with smoke, and amidst the chaos, I can hear their yelps and curses. The smoke screen is our chance to approach them without being seen. We move towards them, quietly and cautiously, as the thick smoke continues to obscure their vision.
Coughing, hacking, and shouts of 'shit', 'fuck', and 'what the fuck just happened' are all we hear as we approach the door with guns out, ready to shoot. As we sprinted into the room, most of the men were too busy doubled over from coughing to even notice us. We quickly grabbed Glenn and Maggie and made our escape. Narrowly escaping the men's bullets as we ran away. As I glance over at Glenn, my attention is immediately drawn to his missing shirt and blood-covered face, not to mention the yellowish tone of forming bruises.
-
Glenn is struggling to walk, relying mostly on Rick as we hurry down the mostly deserted streets of Woodbury. However, we realize that we're taking a risk by running around in the open, so we opt to take shelter in an empty storefront. Daryl's in first crossbow out as he clears the room. With a sudden and unexpected motion, Glenn lost his balance and tumbled down onto the ground, landing with a thud almost immediately. Maggie and I are crouched down next to Glenn. now I can get a better look at him, the puffy look on one eye, the blood trickling out of his mouth; the blood smeared over his torso, his knuckles that are cracked and bleeding. I immediately grab his hand, squeezing it affectionately as I ask, "Are you alright?" he smiles weakly as he mumbles, "I'm fine...promise."
"Ain't no way out back here," Daryl says as I hear his footsteps make their way back up towards us. "Rick, how did you find us?" Maggie asks, turning back, so she's facing Rick. Rick ignores Maggie's question as he walks over to us. "How bad are you hurt?" Glenn grunts "I'll be alright" he didn't look it. Maggie's the first to bring attention to the fact that Michonne hadn't followed us into the building and just up and disappeared. "where's that woman?" looks around, searching around the room for Michonne.
"She was right behind us." Rick pulls back the sheet covering the window to scan outside for Michonne, his face illuminated by the golden glow of the fires. "Maybe she was spotted." "Want me to go look for her?" Daryl volunteers himself as he begins to walk towards Rick. "NO," Rick states as he lets go of the sheet, letting it fall back into place. "We gotta get them out of here. She's on her own." Michonne had no ties to us, no bond, so if she got split up from our group, it didn't matter. "Daryl...this was Merle," Glenn grunts out as Maggie tends to his wound the best she can.
The moment I heard this was Merle. I wanted to kill someone because why the hell would he do this? I knew Merle was a bad guy, but I didn't realize how bad until now. How could he do this to Glenn? Hell, if he just wanted to know if his brother was okay, I'm sure Glenn would've told him Daryl was okay.
Despite hearing him before we stumbled upon Glenn and Maggie, Daryl was in a state of disbelief. He couldn't come to terms with the fact that what we heard was true. Daryl wanted to hang onto the little hope he had that his brother could've known nothing about anything the governor was doing. But deep down, Daryl had a keen understanding that Merle was not one to blindly follow the crowd. He was a man of his own mind. Daryl knew that Merle wouldn't simply act without considering his own rightful opinions. And this was right up his alley. Even back before at the quarry, it was completely out of character for him to join a group like ours. That's why he was never at camp. He was always out doing his own thing. Our camp was simply a place he could rest his head some nights and score a free meal here and there until he would've gone and stolen all our stuff leaving us for dead.
"It was him. He did this," Glenn adds as he leans forward, letting Maggie wrap a zip-up around his body. Daryl's brows are furrowed with confusion as Rick asks, "You saw him?" Glenn nods, shoving his arms through the armholes of the sweater "face to face. He threw a walker at me; he was going to execute us." Daryl, with a hint of nervousness, takes a few hesitant steps forward. His stuttered words escape his lips as he attempts to voice his question. "S-so my brothers this governor?" Maggie shakes her head. "No, it's somebody else. Your brother's his lieutenant or something."
"Does he know I'm still with ya?" Daryl's knuckles go white as he tightens his grip around the crossbow, its weight heavy in his hands. He points the weapon downward as he speaks. "He does now. Rick, I'm sorry. We told him where the prison was. We couldn't hold out." With regret in his voice, Glenn whispers softly as Rick kneels beside him. Meanwhile, I rummage through my bag, trying to find something that might be helpful to treat his wounds or at least prevent infection. "no. no need to apologize." Before I can even look up to make eye contact with Rick, he's bolting off towards the window.
Finally, I found a roll of gauze and some antibiotic ointment to apply to Glenn's hands in hopes that his gashed open knuckles wouldn't get infected. "Let me see your hands," I whisper. I grasped Glenn's left hand gently, feeling his fingers curl around mine. He looked at me with a wince as I brought his hand closer to my face, inspecting the extent of his injuries. The skin on his palm was grazed and raw, with minor cuts and bruises scattered across his knuckles. "I'm fine y/n" he mutters as I squeezed a glob of ointment onto his knuckles. "I don't want it to get infected," With a gentle touch, I glide my index finger along the length of his knuckles. As I do so, I make sure that the ointment covers the affected areas evenly.
"They're gonna be looking for us."
Glenn grimaces in agony as he tilts his head back, shutting his eyes tightly. I take the rolled gauze and begin wrapping it around his knuckles a few times before tearing it free from the roll and keeping it in place with a little bit of medical tape. I repeat the same process on his other hand before packing my supplies back into my bag.
"We have to get back," Rick declares as he turns his body away from the window. "Can you walk?" Rick rises back to his feet and walks over to Glenn. "We got a car a few miles out." Glenn grunts as he begins to push himself up. "I'm good." we all help Glenn to his feet. All of us holding onto him for a few extra seconds as we let him get his balance back.
"Hey, if Merles around, I need to see him," Daryl says standing in front of Rick as if he was intending to block him from leaving. We needed to leave now before someone found us. And seeking out Merle, who we just learned is some type of right-hand man to the governor. Who even knows if Merle even cares that Daryl's his brother anymore, he could snatch us all up and take us to this governor guy without even thinking twice.
Rick leans in close to Daryl. His words are harsher than usual when speaking to Daryl. "Not now. We're in hostile territory." It seems like Daryl didn't understand the dangerous situation we were in, and all he heard was to leave his brother behind again. "he's my brother, I ain't-" Daryl is getting on Rick's nerves and it's obvious from the look on his face when he hisses, "Look at what he did!" at Daryl. "Look, we gotta- we gotta get out of here now. " Again, the harsher tone doesn't work. "Maybe I can talk to him, maybe I can work this out." Rick's gaze meets mine, and his expression speaks volumes. It's saying, "Talk some sense into your boyfriend." I nod as I reach for Daryl's hand. He turns, brows furrowed. "D it's not a good idea," I say as I lace my fingers through his "Th-this is my brother we're-"
"I know I understand that but we gotta get home look at Glenn he can barely fucking walk d" I whisper, he shakes his head as he pushes my hand away from his. "no...no ya know damn well if this was yer fuckin' brother-" When he brings up my brother it lights a fire in me, a fire that can't be blown out no matter what. he can't just compare his brother to mine like that, he can't just bring him up in a conversation like he knew him. He knows damn well if my brother did what he did to Glenn, I wouldn't be running to forgive him, to find him, to hug him, and tell him everything was alright even though he almost killed two people who we all considered family at this point.
"No, don't bring up my brother because you know I wouldn't be defending him like he's a fucking saint if he did something like this-" he sees the rage and immediately begins to backtrack "No-I no I didn' mean it like that," I take a deep breath preparing myself for whatever was about to come out of my mouth "D you aren't thinking straight we don't have time for you to run off and find merle" I grab his hands squeezing them tight between mine "We need you what if something happens when you're gone, huh? We've got 2 hurt people with us. Without you, we might not make it back to the car. " He sighs, eyes flicking between each one of us before muttering a quiet "Fine."

Daryl tosses one of Rick's grenades outside, where it sizzles and pops on the pavement. As smoke clouds around it, we run out the door with guns drawn. Unfortunately, we're immediately spotted by some men standing on top of some buses. One shone their flashlight towards us and shouts, "there they are!" before the pops and bangs of gunfire began to ring through my ears.
Rick somehow manages to shoot one man on top of the buses, causing him to tumble backward off of the bus. As the chaos ensued, we frantically searched for a safe place to hide. Finally, our eyes caught sight of a sturdy wall. Without a second thought, we darted towards it, our hearts pounding with fear. We leaned against the wall, gasping for air as we reloaded our guns. "How many?!" Rick shouts over the gunfire. "I didn't see!" Oscar shouts back. "don' matter. There's gonna be more of'em. we need to move."
"Any grenades left?" Rick asks, while Daryl rummages through a bag. Daryl nods affirmatively while humming and responds with a simple "uh-huh". Rick rises to his feet as he says, "Get 'em ready. We gotta gun into the wall." Maggie and I cautiously take turns peering out from our hiding spot behind the wall, aiming our guns and firing off a few rounds before quickly ducking back into cover. "you guys go ahead. I'm gonna lay down some cover fire."
"No, we gotta stay together." Maggie counters as she presses her back against the wall behind her. "Too hairy. I'll be right behind ya." Maggie cautiously peeks out from behind the wall, firing a few shots before quickly retreating back to cover. It's unclear whether any of the shots hit their targets, but even if they didn't, it could still help if anyone was trying to make their way towards us.
"Ready!" Daryl, who was hiding behind the wall, suddenly pops out and throws the grenade before we continue on our way. In a tense standoff, Daryl finds refuge behind a bench while he trades bullets with the governor's men, who are positioned behind the bench opposite of him. Who am I even following? I don't even know at this point I'm running around shooting at people I don't even know if I'm supposed to be shooting at then...
click, click, click.
"Fuck! fuck, fuck, fuck!" I frantically rummage through my bag, my heart pounding in my chest. My fingers search through the contents, hoping to feel the reassuring weight of extra ammunition. Thinking about it, maybe I shouldn't have stopped where I was to look for ammo, but when your mind is racing and there are five different things in your head, you don't even think about the possibility of getting shot while looking for ammo.
I didn't even feel the bullet as it grazed the side of my torso. It felt like someone tapped me, not like an entire bullet was almost about to fly through my torso. I only notice when blood begins to bleed into my tank top, staining the pure white a dark crimson red. "shit! shit! Shit!" I shout as I run for the first place I see to take cover.
I collapsed onto the ground next to Daryl with a loud sigh. "fuck" I let out an irritated grunt as I leaned back against the hard bench. The dull ache in my back was only slightly alleviated by the cool metal surface. Suddenly, a voice interrupted my thoughts. "Are ya alrigh'?" he asked, concern etched on his face. I sighed and lifted my shirt, revealing the deep wound that was now oozing blood.
The wound is long and takes up at least half of the side of my torso in the elongated shape of a bullet. "Yeah, it just grazed me," I mutter as I begin to dig through my bag for the rolled-up gauze I had earlier. "ya sure?" he asks as he continues to shoot at the other men. "Yeah, just need to get it wrapped up," I say as my fingers graze over the cold metal of the stupid ammunition.
Finally, I find the gauze and dress my wound with a few pieces of gauze pads before wrapping the rolled gauze around my torso and keeping it all in place with a little bit of medical tape. I hear Maggie shout "Daryl!" as Daryl's reloading. my chest is heaving as I try to catch my breath. Although I had felt zero pain earlier when the bullet had grazed me, I was somehow feeling it all right now. "Go!"
"ya need to go now. I'll be right behind ya just go" I gently placed my hand on his arm. The touch was subtle yet firm, as if to signal him to stop talking. "Yeah, yeah I will just one second I need to catch my breath" Gasping for breath, I let out a faint whisper as I clutch my aching side with my left hand. "they're bout to leave ya go; you can catch your breath once yer over that fence go!" As I push myself up from the ground, a low grumble escapes my lips, like a heavy groan resonating through my chest. I take a deep breath to steady myself and start sprinting towards the buses, my feet pounding against the pavement with each step.
I was just about to climb up to the roof of the bus When I spun around just in time to catch a glimpse of Daryl being forcefully dragged away by a group of men. They had a tight grip on his shoulders, and I could see the fear in his eyes as he struggled to free himself from their grasp. "Shit! shit," I mutter under my breath as I pull my once-discarded gun out of my bag and reload it with the ammo I had found earlier.
"What is it?" Maggie, who is leaning over the other side of the fence ready to help me, asks. "They took Daryl," I say as I hop off of the front of the bus. "No! y/n don't! we'll find him later!" Maggie shouts as I head back towards the bench, taking out several of the governor's men who attempt to attack me. "I don't have time for later. I'll meet you guys back at the car!"
I pick up Daryl's crossbow that had been discarded on the ground along with the gun he had, and a few bolts. I scanned my surroundings, desperately trying to figure out which way the men who had taken Daryl had gone. With Daryl's crossbow in my hand, I loaded a bolt into the bow and started to follow their trail. My heart was pounding in my chest as I ran down the pavement, dodging panicked Woodbury residents running in the opposite direction. I could hear their screams and shouts, but I had no idea what was happening. Every single resident of Woodbury seemed to be heading in the same direction, as if drawn by some invisible force.
My thoughts are interrupted when I run into a man who is much taller than me. He seems much calmer and more relaxed than everyone else, including me. "Shit, I'm sorry, I did-"
"y/n?" I looked up with furrowed brows, surprised that the man knew my name. I was shocked to see him, as I had thought he had died months ago. His face was more stubbly than the last time I saw him, and there was a long scar that stretched across the length of his left cheek. "Jack? I thought-"
As his gaze travels up and down my body, he seems surprised. "I didn't realize you lived here," he says, and I can see his eyes lingering on the myriad of scars that now decorate my skin. Each one tells a story of the daily battles I've faced, the trauma, the pain, and the death. "no-no I don't um your people they- they um took my friend, and I-" his eyes widen as the realization of who I'm with sets in. I'm baffled. He's supposed to be dead. I watched as walkers swarmed him. How'd he even get out of that? I waited days, if he somehow survived that why didn't he come back? Did he just assume I had died? Or did he just decide it was for the best to leave me for dead?
"you're the terrorists," he whispers. I shake my head, muttering quietly "NO, no... you don't understand you-your governor they-they took my friend and we're here to get him back we-we didn't mean for all this to happen." I'm feeling a sense of frustration and exasperation as I find myself trying to explain myself. "A-and now they took my boyfriend, and I can't leave without him...can you help me?" I don't even think to censor myself when referring to Daryl as my boyfriend being so rushed and frantic. I didn't even think about how he'd react to me being with another man.
"Wait- wait...wait boyfriend?" my eyes widen in fear before choosing to deflect "Please Jack" I plead as I grab onto his arm. He sighs, whispering, "Fine, okay. Where did they go?" My heart raced as panic set in - I frantically scanned my surroundings, but to no avail. The memory of the path they had taken had completely escaped me. "Where are you going? Maybe they're taking him there."
-
We end up in an area that kind of resembles a high school football field. It's small, with two sets of bleachers on each side, and it's lit up by a few large torch-like things. We're hidden behind the bleachers, hoping that no one will see us. The immediate surroundings are abuzz with the chatter of what seems to be a significant portion of Woodbury's population.
People are engrossed in conversation, speculating about the events that led them to this place and the reasons behind them. "Where do you and your group live?" Jack asks. I sigh, turning my head so I can make eye contact with him. "a prison," I reply before turning back around so I can keep a lookout for the governor or Daryl. he lets out a quiet "oh" before going on to his next question. "So, how many are there? y'know in your group?" I roll my eyes; did he have to ask this many questions? "Like 10 I dunno-"
When a brunette man with gauze wrapped around his head creating an eye patch walks in, everyone shuts up. It's a face that I could easily recognize in a crowd of people. This face has been etched in my memory for as long as I can remember. The last time I saw him, he was younger, with fewer wrinkles and scars on his face. "That's your governor?"
"What can I say?" he throws his arms out in defeat. "hasn't been a night like this since the walls were completed. And I thought we were past it," he swallows hard before continuing "past the days when we all sat, huddled scared in front of the TV during the early days of the outbreak. The fear we all felt then, we felt it again tonight." he pauses for a few seconds before he says, "I failed you." in a quiet tone. "I promised to keep you safe" he chuckles as he pivots his body a bit so it's facing the other set of bleachers "hell, look at me" he wipes at his mouth as he walks a few steps forward "You know, I-I should tell you that well be okay, that were safe. That tomorrow we'll bury our dead and endure, but won't, because I can't because I'm afraid."
There are a few gasps in the crowd like it was so mind-boggling that their precious, brave, strong leader could be afraid of a group with more women and children than men. "that's right. I'm afraid of terrorists who want what we have. Want to destroy us! And worse...because of one of those terrorists...is one of our own." the crowd murmurs questions, and speculations about who this 'terrorist' is. He turns before pointing at Merle, who stands just a few feet behind him. "Merle..." the crowd gets louder with gasps.
Merle's brows are furrowed tightly as he stares at the governor's eyes filled with betrayal. "The man I counted on the man I trusted." one of the governor's other men places a gun against merles back, "he led'em here!" the crowd gasps "and he late in," Another one of his men takes merles weapons from his pockets as the governor begins walking towards merle. "It was you! You lied. Betrayed us all. Then, in the distance, someone with a sack on their head is led toward the arena. As they get close, I can make out the figure. The bigger muscles, the black vest, its Daryl. merle is pushed forward towards the governor.
Daryl is struggling as he is pushed further and further towards the governor. "This is one of the terrorists!" the governor takes hold of Daryl's bicep and pulls Daryl towards him before ripping the sack off of Daryl's head. "Merle's own brother!" the governor circles Daryl like a bird circles its prey before he shouts, "What should we do with them! Huh?!" from the crowd a man shouts "Kill 'em!" which is followed by a bunch more shouts to 'kill them!!'
