something I really love abt souls games is how every character is so lovingly voice acted. and I don't just mean the main ones but even the ones that 'don't matter' or show up once and then die etc whatever. all of them feel so...idk. unique? charming. none of them feel like their vas just kind of half assed it bc 'well no ones going to care about this guy anyway' they're all so full of character and life

it’s acc so interesting to me that katniss and most other characters seem to agree that district 12 is the worst/poorest district bc it becomes so clear the second she meets rue that she’s just wrong. and then she sees district 11 on the victory tour and notes how run down and authoritarian it is and still doesn’t really reconsider what she knows about how wealth and freedom is distributed in panem

Ok so I was looking at the merchants and I may be reaching but does anyone else think that they look kinda like dragons??

The one on the left has the teeth of course, but I know that Leo at least mentioned wanting to be a pink/purple dragon which sound kinda like bright colours like these skins are.

This one also seems to have spikes on its back and even a tail? It’s difficult to tell and I haven’t really seen the others but what if this is what the eggs would grow into??

I mean, the island DID used to be called “egg island” apparently. Maybe these are the grown up eggs that used to live here?

Tim overhears Angeline and Butler talking animatedly in the other room about something in Russian and he proceeds to discretely text Artemis to go "my son... I am summoning you to see if they are talking trash about us both" to which Artemis simply sends a "👍" before promptly appearing in the study to join Tim (despite Artemis having fully been in the other wing of the house last time Tim checked?)

#My HC about who can speak Russian in the manor is that Angeline Artemis and Butler are all fluent #Tim knows some words and phrases from business #and Juliet and the twins never learned but wouldn't be opposed to learning it one day #Angeline would also probably be familiar with some dialects due to having family in Russian though accent and dialect differences do fall #more on class as opposed to the Northern/Central/Southern 'on paper' distinct dialects #That is to say three separate aristocratic families from the North/South/Center of Russia would have been able to understand each other #usually whereas someone from the merchant class in the south might have an accent that the wealthy southerners wouldn't understand #IMO she would be able to mimic Russian accents and dialects fairly well because in her 20s she actively wanted to avoid signalling specific #specifics about her area of origin in the country or her background

Fun Italian fact! "Grazie," which English speakers tend to pronounce "GRAHT-see," is actually pronounced "GRAHTS-yeh." I only figured that out because I went to Italy for Spring Break in college, and when I boldly and apparently incorrectly thanked a convenience store cashier, she slowly repeated it back with the correct pronunciation.

I wonder if she still thinks about that sometimes: that American who somehow ended up in an area with absolutely zero English speakers, taking her hint and realizing they'd been saying it wrong and then thanking her one last time with the correct pronunciation. 'Cause God knows I think about it every time I come across that word. 😆
