Midnight Express. 1978. Быстрый обзор. Фильм Алана Паркера, который завоевал тонну наград, в том числе и главный Золотой Глобус. История про бедного американца, который хотел перевезти из прокуренной Турции пару кило гашиша, но попался и загремел в тюрьму. При этом в те времена отношения Турции и США были плохие, а за наркоту сажали надолго. Главный герой так же засел плотно и получил все тяготы от ужасных условий турецких казематов и общения с мерзкими турками. Весь фильм нам показывают противостояние в общем-то невинного парня и безжалостных мерзких изуверов. Единственные нормальные люди в тюрьме, а и возможно во всей Турции, это иностранные заключённые. По сути, тоже не особо виноватые. Всё из-за продажности турков и их природной вредности. Между главным героем и блондином скандинавом, даже какая-то романтика началась. В итоге, единственным путём к освобождению оказался побег. По мне, так это всё смотрелось уж слишком предвзято, не естественно и надуманно. Очевидная пропагандистская политическая тематика. Но форма имеет интересные моменты. И для 70-х, наверное кино в чем-то было новаторским. Если смотреть, как-то в целом, то что-то интересное можно найти.
