who’s the werewolf and who’s the hunter?

Ahh I can see Ryukyu as the werewolf who ends up meeting this usually fierce hunter, Miruko, however they end up being completely entranced by each other.

who’s the mermaid and who’s the fisherman?

Rykyu is the amazingly pretty mermaid that tries to lure in fisherman Miruko (and ohmygod the imagery of Rumi in fisherman/maybe pirate clothes is wayyy to strong for me and I might just die-) or she ends up tangled in Miruko’s net and they lock eyes and are completely in awe.

who’s the witch and who’s the familiar?

Well. Miruko is the familiar, definitely. The kinda overprotective but also really sweet and nice type that will very carefully watch over Ryukyu as she does her little witchy things!

who’s the barista and who’s the coffee addict?

Ryukyu is that barista that takes extra care when serving everyone, but always seems to mess up when sorting out the order for a particularly hot, but very overworked Miruko, who comes in for her regular strong coffee each day. And she may or may not have figured out Ryukyu’s schedule just so she can always be served by this cute bashful barista. (Again, wow Ryukyu in a barista outfit???)

who’s the professor and who’s the TA?

Ooohhhh I’m not too sure, but I can see Miruko being the really enthusiastic professor and Ryukyu just sitting there, trying to help teach but getting really distracted by how the other teaches.

who’s the knight and who’s the prince(ss)?

Ahhhhhh I really just wanna see Miruko in armour as a knight in shining armour and such. With Ryukyu being an elegant princess who actually really just wants to get out and do stuff, explore and perhaps fight some bad guys y’know?

who’s the teacher and who’s the single parent?

Ryukyu is the bashful teacher and Miruko is the single parent that walks into their first meeting and instantly blurts out for her to marry her lmao definitely. I can also really see her parenting Bakugou....out of many others...

who’s the writer and who’s the editor?

Hmmmm it’s either Ryukyu writes little novels and Miruko really intensely edits them. Or Miruko writes some really action-packed fiction, and Ryukyu gets incredibly involved in the storyline while starting to notice some hints towards herself in the storyline....

Issue 8:Holy moly,me oh my,you're the spider of my eye

Enji sneered at the photos of Spidermenace.Who did that Mutant think he was,parading around like a normal person?!

"Mr.Todoroki,sir-"

"WHAT?!"He barked at the photographer who had entered his office and she flinched.

"W-We got the photos of Spiderman and that creature."

"Well,what are you waiting for?Bring them in!"

She listened and spread them out on his desk.He inspected them and snarled."Just as i thought!Palling around with that thing!"

"Sir,i really do think he was trying to stop it-"

"Nobody cares what you think."She shrunk back,"New headline: Spiderfreak consorts with monster."

(Saturday)

Katsuki yawned as he walked down the stairs and saw Moms looking at the newspaper with disgust."What happened?"

"Todoroki is demonizing Spiderman again."Mom said,contempt in her tone as she said his surname.Mom growled.

"What the fuck is this guy's problem?!Spiderman has done nothing wrong,he just hates Mutants!"

Katsuki joined them in their disgust.Suddenly,he had an idea.A crazy idea that just might work.

(Monday)

"Deku!"

Izuku blinked in surprise as Kacchan ran up to him that morning on his walk to school,smiling and phone in hand."Did you see it?"

"See what?"

Kacchan responded by typing something on his phone and handed it to him.Izuku's eyes widened at what he saw.A red and blue website with the username'Spiderblog'."Is this...a blog about me?"

"It's a blog to support you."Kacchan corrected,"Todoroki's dad and all the other mutantphobes keep talking shit about you so i wanted to show you you're not alone and that we believe in you."

Izuku felt himself tearing up.'Kacchan...'Kacchan believed in him."Wait,who's 'we'?"

"Me and the other webheads!"

Izuku could have sworn he heard a record scratch."Webheads?"

Kacchan smiled again,"That's what Spiderman fans are calling themselves."

Izuku actually started crying."I love them."

Kacchan wrapped an arm around him,half-hugging him as they continued their walk to school.

"Do you run this all by yourself?"

"My Moms helped me set it up.They know way more about this stuff than me.But it was all my idea.I'm your number 1 fan."

"I love you.You're my best friend."Izuku blutered out.Kacchan started to tear up.

"Damn,Deku...keep talking like this and i might marry you."

Izuku put his attention back to the Spiderblog to turn down his blush,pushing the thought of Kacchan intentionally flirting with him away."What's this?"He pointed at a video.

"That's the first thing i posted."Kacchan said proudly.Izuku clicked on it.On screen appeared Kacchan in his bedroom.

"Hey,i'm Bakugou Katsuki!Are you a fan of Spiderman?If yes,then this is the perfect place for you!Here,you'll find Spiderman positivity and updates on the web hero himself!If no,well,get better soon,i guess!"Izuku laughed at the last line as the video ended.

"I posted this yesterday."Kacchan clicked on another video.This time,he was sitting at his desk.

"Hey Webheads!As you've noticed,Spiderman has been under some insults by-"he coughed,"-brainless dumbasses-"he coughed again,"-mutantphobes.To counter attack,i propose a new hastag-#istandbySpiderman,no spaces.With this,we can show support to our favorite hero.Are ya with me?"

"Fuck yeah we're with you!"They jumped and whipped around to see Kirishima(who had yelled)and their other friends behind them.Jirou was even smiling and Todoroki and Sero were carrying a box.

"What's that?"Izuku asked.Kacchan looked equally curious.Kirishima grinned and pointed at something on his shirt.It was then that Izuku realized that they were all wearing red pins with '#istandbySpiderman' written on them.He resisted the urge to burst into tears.It was hard."I...i'm sure Spiderman is very grateful."His voice cracked as he choked up.

Izuku spent the whole day trying not to sob as his friends handed out the pins and so many accepted them.Even Mr and Mrs.Yagi!

"You guys really are Webheads,huh?"Kacchan commented fondly.

"And proud!"Said Monoma.

"Yes⭐!"Aoyama agreed.

After school,Doc Oc attacked again.Izuku put on his costume and sprung into action.

"You!" He snarled upon seeing Izuku.

"Me!"

During their fight,Kacchan arrived and began filming them from a safe distance.Doc Oc eventually noticed him."Ah,Spiderman's boyfriend.What a delight to see you again."Kacchan and Izuku blushed.

"He's not my boyfriend!"They said simaultaneously.Doc Oc laughed.

"Ah,true love.Such a pitiful thing."Doc Oc launched a tentacle at Kacchan and he dodged just in time,grazing his knee in the process.

"Leave him alone!"Izuku shouted furiously,shooting webbing at his face and it landed in his mouth.As Doc Oc coughed,Izuku took the opportunity to kick him in the face and that knocked him out cold.He ran towards Kacchan.

"Kacc-Citizen,are you okay?!"Kacchan smiled at him.

'Deku,always worrying about me...I'd be lying i said i didn't like it.'

"Eh,it's no big deal.Just a little scratch."Izuku grabbed his hand and took him to the nearest hospital.A nurse nearly dropped her plate upon seeing him.

"S-SPIDERMAN!Oh,it's an honor!May i get your-"Izuku signed her notepad before she could finish and she squealed before coughing into her hand,embarrased."So what seems to be problem?"

"My friend got his knee scratched.Can you patch him up?"

Kacchan looked like he was not to smile,"Spiderman,get that look off your face.I'm fine."

"You can't even see my face."Izuku turned to him and did a bunch of expressions,moving his hand up and down his face as he changed.Kacchsn burst out laughing and Izuku smiled softly,loving that sound.

"You're such a dork,Spiderman!"

The nurse patched up his knee,afterwards Izuku kissed it and smiled when Kacchan blushed kirby pink.

"Let me take you home."

Katsuki had never felt this much adrenaline.Swinging through the city and arms wrapped around his best friend.He didn't know which one made his heart race faster.

"WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!"He exclaimed,grinning,the world around him gone.It was just him and Deku.

"Having fun?"Deku joked.

"Fuck yeah!We should do this more often!"

"If that's what you want."

"Really?"Deku nodded,looking at him with with soft eyes.Katsuki squeezed him tighter."I love Spiderman!"He exclaimed.

"I love you too!"

They arrived at Katsuki's house and entered.Mom nearly dropped her coffee in shock.

"Spiderman?!"

"Hi,Mrs.Usagiyama."Deku waved.Mom's shock wore off and she smiled widely.

"Rumi,come here,dear!"

"What for?"

"Spiderman is here!'

Katsuki heard Mom stumbling.Mom turned to Deku once again,smiling.

"Would you like to stay for dinner?"

"WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY FOREVER?"

"So."Ryuko said as they digged down,"Spiderman,how do you know our Katsuki?"

"We met at school."Not a lie.He and Kacchan met on the first day of pre-k.

"Do we know you?"Rumi inquired,"Wait,don't tell me.Secret identity bizz.I get it."

"Thank you."

"Katsuki,how is Hamlet going?"

And the conversation continued.They laughed and joked and overall got along great.After they finished,Izuku helped wash the dishes and was led outside by Kacchan once he was done.

"They love you."Kacchan beamed.

"They already love me."

"But now they love Spiderman.It's important to me that my Moms like you.Because you're my best friend and nothing can change that."Izuku was pretty sure he was about to cry again.

He lifted up his mask just enough to show his mouth and nose and lifted up Kacchan's leg,kissing his wound again."Last one."

The next day,Izuku and his friends decided to head to the arcade after school and agreed to change into casual clothes at home and meet up there.He tapped his foot as he leaned next to entrance.Izuku did a double take when he saw Kacchan.

He was wearing a trans flag pin.Normal enough.But he was also wearing a white crop top with a heart shaped Spiderman mask on it.Izuku's jaw dropped as he blushed up to his ears.

Kacchan was hot and cute(He already knew that bit this just smacked him across the face with the fact once again.)

"Yo,Deku!"

"H-hi,Kacchan."His noice cracked.Kacchan looked concerned.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah,it's just...your shirt...!I love it!"Kacchan smiled brightly.

"Thanks!They were selling these for sale at the mall and i just couldn't resist!Gotta live up to my title."

"As my number one fan or as my boyfriend?"Is what Izuku wanted to say but he didn't have the courage to.So he just smiled and nodded along.

Doc Oc attacked once more.But this time he had a target.

"Spiderman's boyfrieeeeend,where are youuuuuuu?"He cooed.Kacchan straightend up and Izuku gasped.

"Spiderman has a boyfriend?"Ashido squealed.

"Yo,on Spiderman?"Sero added.

"NOT THE TIME,GUYS!"Kacchan yelled.

Panic crossed the arcade at Doc Oc's voice and Izuku raced to the bathroom to change into his costume.

Izuku froze at the sight before him when he exited.Doc Oc had captured Kacchan and was climbing the building in front of the arcade!

"GIVE HIM BACK!"Izuku screamed in rage,running towards them.

"SPIDERMAN!"Kacchan exclaimed as he began crawling up the building,making small cracks in the walls from pure rage.

"Are you sure he's not your boyfriend?He sure acts like it."Doc Oc said to Kacchan,who remained silent.Izuku shot webbing at one of his tentacles and swung his way over to him with it.He tried to shake him off but it was futile.He crawled his way to over the tentacle that Kacchan was captured in and wrapped his arms his shoulders.

"Hang on."Kacchan did so.Izuku stuck his hand inside the tentacles wiring and released his webbing,causing it to malfuction and release Kacchan.Izuku made a web trampoline to catch them as Doc Oc wailed and ran from the scene.The cops finally approached them as they got down and the news crew arrived.

"Do you have something you'd like to say?"The news anchor asked,holding the mic out to Izuku.

"Fuck blue lives."

"Disclaimer-I am not nor will i ever be Spiderman"s boyfriend."

"Bull-shit!" Denki declared as he paused Bakugou's video.Ashido shook her head.

"Bakugou.Spiderman's boyfriend.Who would have thought?"

"I always thought he and Midoriya'd end up together."Todoroki said.Yaomomo,who was snuggling him,nodded in agreement.

"Maybe Midoriya is Spiderman!"Aoyama proposed.They all looked at eachother for a few seconds before brushing it off.

"Nah!"

Issue 3:To the ends of the earth

Izuku jolted up when he woke up because he hadn't remembered falling asleep.He looked to the clock.7:30A.M.

With great power,comes great responsibility.

Those words kept ringing in his head.So he decided to do something about it.

"I'm going to be a superhero."He muttered as he kicked off his sheets,"Right after breakfast."

"Kacchan,can i talk to you about something?"Izuku asked,running to catch up to him on their way to school."Privately.It's important."

Kacchan looked interested,"Of course."

And so,they found themselves under a cherry blossom tree.

"You see..."Izuku scratched the back of his neck,"The thing is...uh,i think it's better if i just show you."

Kacchan raised his eyebrows.Izuku tried pushing his hands forward.Nothing.He tried opening and closing them.Nothing.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to-"A string of webbing shot out of his hands and hit Kacchan in the chest,"-do that."He looked at the position of his hands.Index,thumb and little finger out,ring and middle finger in.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

He looked at Kacchan,who wore a shocked expression as he stared down at his chest.

"The spider that bit me-"

"-gave you spider powers."Kacchan finished his sentence,slightly less shocked.

"That's right.I'm telling you this because i trust you with my life."

"I won't let you down."Kacchan said immediately,his words strong like he was making a promise,"What do you want me to do?"

With great power,comes great responsibility. "I want you to help me be a superhero."

"How am i supposed to do that?"Kacchan asked honestly.

"I... don't know.But i do know that i have to be a hero.It's my responsibility."

Kacchan stared at him before laughing,causing Izuku to blink in surprise,"You're such a Deku.Okay,let's make you a hero.This is fuckin' crazy but i trust you."

"I won't let you down."

The day went along fine until gym class.Izuku was climbing the rock climbing wall when his hand got stuck.Literally.

"Hnnng!Hng!Hng!"

"MIDORIYA!"Kirishima called out,"HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!"He came unstuck.And fell.He screamed.

"DEKU!"

Kacchan tried to catch him but they just ended bumping their heads together.

"Deku!"Kacchan kneeled at his side as the rest of his friends came over,"Are you okay?"

"Yeah,i'm fine.Thanks to you,Kacchan."

"What was that?"Iida asked more to himself,"How did you keep sticking to the wall?"

Izuku didn't awnser as Kacchan helped him stand,slinging an arm over his shoulder.He hated lying to his friends.

"You were stuck on the wall like a spider."Tsuyu pointed out and he tensed.

"It must've been the sweat."Kaminari said.

"Babe,that's gross.And impossible."Said Sero.

"Nothing is impossible except impossibility!"

Izuku agreed and judging by the look on Kacchan's face,he did too.

"Midoriya,do you want me to take you to Ms.Shuzenji✨?"Asked Aoyama.

"Thanks Aoyama but i'm fine."

"You just fell from a rock climbing wall.That dosen't sound okay to me."Protested Todoroki.

"I conquer."Their vice president,Yaoyorozu,walked up."Midoriya,please go to Ms.Shunzenji."

"Yaoyorozu!"Exclaimed Todoroki,looking happy for a split second before doning his stoic face.Izuku resisted a laugh.He was so obvious with his crush.

"Yaoyorozu-kun!"Iida nodded in awknoledgement.

"Iida-kun."

"Really,i'm perfectly fine."

Yaoyorozu hesitated for a second before nodding."Alright,Midoriya."She walked away and Todoroki ran after her.Uraraks giggled.

"Okay,first off,we need a name.Every great superhero has a trademark™ name."Said Kacchan,twirling a pen between his fingers.Izuku blinked rapidly.

"How did you say that outloud?"

"Aoyama taught me."

"Oh.Yeah,that makes sense."

"How about Spiderboy?"

Izuku made a face.

"No?Yeah,i don't really like that one either.Kid arachnid?"

"No,no,neither of those work!I'm not a little kid!I'm a teenager!"

"Okay,Spiderman."

Izuku's face light up."Spiderman."He repeated,"It does have a nice ring to it."

Kacchan smiled,which took Izuku's breath away."Awesome!"He crossed something off his notebook.Izuku walked to him,looking over his shoulder.

"Next,we need to get you a costume.If the villains find out your secret identity,they could easily use it against you."

Izuku perked up,"I already have designs!"Usually,this would be embarrasing but this was Kacchan.They knew everything about eachother.

'Almost everything'His dark voice reminded him and he mentally punched it.

They had to wait until after school for step 2.

"Yo,Katsuki,Izuku-chan!"Ms.Usagiyama,Kacchan's mom,greeted them as they arrived at Kacchan's house.She was wearing a purple blouse and blue leggings.

"Hello,Ms.Usagiyama!"

"Mom,can we have some money?"Kacchan got to the point.

"What for?"She asked curiously.Ms.Tatsuma,her wife and Kacchan's other mom,walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her."Hey,sweetie."They pecked eachother on the lips.

"For clothing materials."

"What are those for?"

"Uh,our school is setting up a play!"Izuku responded.

"Which play?"Ms.Tatsuma asked,her chin resting on Ms.Usagiyama's shoulder.

"Hamlet!"

"Katsuki,i'm surprised you haven't talked about this!You love Hamlet!"Ms.Usagiyama inquired.

Kacchan rubbed the back of his neck,"I didn't wanna make a big deal out of it."

"But this is a big deal!We're so proud of you!"Ms.Tatsuma walked up to Kacchan and hugged him.Kacchan hugged back tightly.

"Thanks,MOm."His voice cracked.

Ms.Usagiyama pulled yen out of her pocket."Here.Go nuts!"

"Okay,which one should we use?"Kacchan asked,looking at Izuku's childhood(now open)notebooks.

"All of them."

"All of them?"

"All of them."

By the time they finished,it was sun down.They both took a step back and inspicted it.It was red and blue,taking inspiration from the spider that bit Izuku,with black patterns,white eyelids and a spider sown on the chest with black.

"It's..."Kacchan trailed off.

"Perfect."Izuku finished,smiling slightly and picking it up."Now what?"

"Put it on."

Izuku did so.He looked down at his hands,streching them.He felt...right...in this.Like he was meant to be there.

"Now it's time for a lookout.Night time is the perfect time,no one will see you."

"Are you sure?I'm red,blue and black all over."

"Trust me,you're one of the less weird things to bump in the night in this city."He hitched up his backpack,"Good luck."

Izuku faltered,"You're not coming with me?"

"I can't.The villains would figure out i'm your best friend and go after me."Kacchan explained,obviously unhappy.He bit his lip and then thrwe himself onto him.Izuku instantly hugged back."I'll miss you."He whispered.

Izuku cradled his head,closing his eyes,"I'll miss you too."

Izuku crawled out his bedroom window as Kacchan left.He thanked goodness he wasn't afraid of heights as he looked down at the distance between himself and the ground.He positioned his arm.Index,thumb and little finger out,ring and middle finger in.A string of webbing shot out,landing on the building next to his apartment.He swung his way over there,almost smacking face first into the wall.The next swings were much easier as he looked out for trouble.

"Give it back!"A familiar voice yelled and he snapped his head in it's direction.It was Ms.Shuzenji!And a thief was trying to take her bag!

"Listen,lady,just-AAAAAAAAHHHHH!"The thief let out a scream as Izuku encased him in webbing.Ms.Shuzenji watched in awe and followed the source of the webs,her eyes widening more and more.

"Are you alright,ma'am?"Izuku asked in a deep voice,hopping down from the roof onto the stairs.

"Yes.Thank you."Ms.Shuzenji said,smiling,and looked for something in her bag.She took out a chocolate bar."Take this-please.It's the least i can do."

Izuku took it with his webs,"Woah!Thanks!"

"You're welcome,..."

"The name's Spiderman."

"Thank you,Spiderman."She beamed brightly.

"No problem!"He swung all the way home.

"Izuku,dear,where were you?!"Mom asked.

"I was at Kacchan's.Practicing for uh,Hamlet."

"Please tell me next time you go there."

"Sorry about worrying you,Mom."He apologized sincerely.

She hugged him and he hugged back.

"I'm just glad you're safe."

He took a bite out of his chocolate.
