“The Phantom of the Opera” performed by Annaleigh Ashford (as the Phantom) and Josh Groban (as Christine Daae) in Miscast 2023. Thank you to @pkducklett for bringing this video to my attention!
Greetings and salutations, everyone! Here is a recording of a cover I did of "I'd Rather Be Me" from Mean Girls: the Musical that I performed during a Miscast Recital a while back. Hope you guys enjoy it and that it brings some joy into your day. Woot, woot!
Jeremy Jordan who voices Lucifer in Hazbin Hotel covering She Used To Be Mine from the musical Waitress. This man's voice is a powerhouse and his range is INSANE. Highly recommend you listen/watch this cover if you haven't before.
Aaron Tveit and Gavin Creel - Miscast - "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent.
"Every single day,
I walk down the street
I hear people say 'baby so sweet'
Ever since puberty,
Everybody stares at me
Boys, girls, I can't help it baby
so be kind, and don't lose your mind
just remember that I'm your baby
take me for what I am
who I was meant to be
and if you give a damn
take me baby,
or leave me."

Watching episodes of the crown and many of their fans are saying the actor who plays prince Charles is miscast because he is way too good looking to be Charles.
Well okay to that, however fans do have the right to call out miscast actors and not be called names like racist and sexist or been shallow as we have been called when we say the new Uhura in Strange new world is terribly miscast.
Yongyea*** as Kiryu - "Is it a Yakuza: Like a Dragon 'Dub' Miscast?!"
A response to Mugenlord and my thoughts on Yongyea as Kiryu in the latest Yakuza games, by now you seen how divided the Yakuza fans when RGG Studios cast Yongyea as Kiryu in the latest Yakuza games. The majority reason for criticism for Yongyea's dub is it didn't fit the part and felt that it was a miscast. There are many factors of why Sega and RGG Studios choose Yongyea to voice the English Dub for Kiryu.
*Keep in mind that it's a business, they get a share of the profit when their client get the part, chances of them listening to feedback will be slim.
**Petitions mostly doesn't work, yes there are some situation that it does work.
***As always, this needs to be mention, I have no problem with Yongyea and him being the new voice for Kiryu, at the end of the day, it's his livelihood. Criticizing someone does not mean hate, yes it will sometimes be harsh and ppl just need to take a note of why. There is a big difference between being "constructive" and "destructive".
