I'm relatively new to the show fandom, but a few days ago I read that the artists who make the thumbnails for the videos on the channels are not paid with real money but with discord nitro, the moderator rank on the official server of discord and on twitch channels, participation in gameplays and even allowing them to make decisions in the stories of the shows. Will that be real? I don't want to believe it is because I understand that every artist should receive monetary payment for their work but maybe just I don't understand how that world works.
