Andrew

Andrew has social media, but it's a faceless 'user929485829394' kind of account (or aminyard maybe... but nobody thinks it's him) that has no followers because he just goes on there to keep up to date w stuff.

All the foxes find it eventually because someone (Nicky...) saw it open on his phone & the fans are so confused why the foxes all follow this random anon account

(Andrew deletes his account the second people start to realise who the account belongs to and makes a new one that only Neil knows about)

(Nobody questions why Neil follows a random anon account that is private because it's so... Neil of him. So nobody realises that it's Andrew this time around.)

With his only audience as Neil, Andrew posts a little. Not a lot. But it's nice, Neil thinks, when he opens Instagram to see that default icon with the ring around it.

Neil

Neil doesn't really post much but when he does it's of other ppl (primarily Allison and Matt but sometimes there is a 'soft launch' of Andrew which the goalie says he hates but never tells him to delete), his account is mainly centred around exy -- all his stories are exy related etc.

Sometimes he tags Kevin in random shit that makes no sense to anyone but them. One time he reposted this random french tumblr post about mafia relations and tagged Kevin and Kevin was hysterical because what the fuck are you doing neil are you trying to get us killed.

Funnily, his pfp is a photo of Kevin smashed drunk because he found it really funny and Kevin ends up blocking Neil on social media when he refused to change it (and because of the shit he gets tagged in).

Kevin

Kevin keeps his Instagram very professional. He posts his magazine photoshoots & has stupid shit like clips of him on Kathy's show saying. "Thank you for having me @kathy, it was a pleasure." and the fans EAT IT UP.

The foxes don't let him live it down and every time he posts anything the foxes all repost it w stupid music or something like that, or just with "HAHAHAHAHAHAH".

But that's not just it, sometimes Kevin posts photos from practice; sneak shots that nobody realises he's taken. It seems sweet; it would be sweet if he wasn't such a raging asshole when they practice. He also posts their match scores on his story.

What shocks the foxes the most out of everything is how open he is about his obsession with USC Trojans. Sometimes they wonder whether they accidentally followed a Trojan fan account but no, it's just Kevin Day shitposting about Jeremy Knox.

Nicky

Nicky predominantly posts loads of selfies and shit, lots of candid photos of the others!!!! He does 'camera dumps' and 'monthly dumps' of photos. He posts everything that he can and his story is like a vlog.

He's also very outspoken with his opinion of social media and goes live all the damn time. It drives the monsters insane when they hear "hey guys!" from their living room.

He actually gains quite a bit of attention as the only fox who isn't completely shutdown secrative about his life and so his reason for posting is fed constantly.

He likes to do those "ask me question" stories and it's really entertaining to see him suddenly rush up to one of the foxes and ask questions that the fans want to know. If you're a new fan, your go to Instagram is 100% Nickys. His highlights are full of info on everything and everyone.

It surprises the foxes immensely when they find out his Twitter time is more than Instagram.

Allison

Allison is similar to Nicky in some sense but more professional, it has more of a 'model/fashion student' vibe to it; she likes to post random stories of her having dressed Neil up (bonding she calls it) and has a little highlight for him (the foxes appreciate her efforts).

She likes to do reels, like "dress up neil w/ me!". She also does advertisements w/ skincare & makeup groups.

She has a very aesthetic-looking account; she likes to do GRWM's (and sometimes they star a fellow fox which makes the fan so excited for each new release). She's extremely charismatic and draws a lot of followers from industries other than sport/exy.

Dan

Dan posts about Exy A LOT which surprises the foxes because even though they know that she loves the sport they didn't realise she followed it with such ferocity.

She has a lot of Foxes content on her page, like group photos or post-match selfies etc. She always posts something like that with the score of the game in the caption.

Her pfp is either one of her and Matt's eyes or a photo of them kissing at the end of a game (maybe the Raven one?).

Matt

Matt's Instagram is a shrine of Dan...andNeil. His focus is largely selfies w them or candids of them. He has highlights for them, named "<3" & "Neil!" (they used to both be <3 but then someone asked if they were poly and the foxes lost their shit).

Matt doesn't really post about exy that much, his Instagram seems to capture the domestic side of the Foxes that don't get shown too much through the other's accounts.

Matt's favourite passtime is posting photos of Neil where he blatantly crops Andrew out of the photo. So you get: Neil looking in adoration at... someone? something? The fans go crazy every time.

Renee

Renee's Instagram is the epitome of domestic. It's crazy. She's private and only accepts people she knows (aka the foxes). She posts the most beautiful candids of the foxes you will ever see; them in their Halloween outfits in Eden's Twilight, (an extra slide of Andrew and Neil looking at each other (it was a collective agreement to ignore Kevin who was slumped on the table)), them post Raven match which was taken by Stephanie Walker, a games night which Neil somehow coaxed everyone into (including Andrew) etc.

It's an account almost solely for documenting the PSU Foxes adventures together. Sometimes she posts a quote about her beliefs or music that she likes.

Her account is the foxes favourite, though they'd never admit it.

Even at gunpoint.

Aaron

Last (and very much least), Aarons Instagram (post book three) is almost entirely soft-launching Katelyn.

Library study photos where you can see a girl's hand and someone else's book?

Check.

Two coffees one which has a lipstick stain on it?

Check.

He's done it all.

(Pre-book three as well) He also sometimes posts random photos of like locations (#courthouse /j) but nothing more than that, all of it is Katelyn and it makes the foxes ill.

Starting December 1st, 2023, I’ll be bringing back my monthly icon rotation! 

For those of you who don’t know, on my original blog, I had a monthly rotation where I highlighted different pieces of Ailani work every month by using the artwork as my icon. This way, I could spotlight the incredible artists that make Ailani works and express my long-lasting appreciation. The artist's blog would be credited in my bio and pinned post, with a link to the artwork also present.

The icon artwork is selected on the last day of the previous month, and is chosen semi-randomly. I first decide the color scheme and theme for my blog, and then I sort all the artwork by color, and pick whatever artwork matches the best. I try not to repeat an artist within the calendar year, just so everything is fair, but this does happen occasionally because of special events or things.

So! If you have ever drawn Ailani art and you want your piece(s) to be entered into this icon rotation, please reply to this post. You can now reply from side blogs on Tumblr, so don’t feel like you have to showcase your main. Also, if you’re not comfortable responding, send me an ask with your username, and tell me that you’d be willing to have your art showcased. I’ll add your name to the replies of this so I can keep track of everyone.

finally. the gouenji post where i rate his looks (soccer and school uniforms excluded).

gouenji is the face of the franchise along with endou and kidou, he has his own manga spinoff, and he's regularly elected as a fan favourite in every popularity contest.

canonically, gouenji has a huge fanclub of girls rooting for him and it's definitely not only because soccer.

so why is he so popular ?

well mostly because he's non verbal most of the time (girls love boys who can shut up), he makes bomb ass takoyaki, and he's also very handsome. but are his clothes helping or is he THAT handsome ? let's find out.

ah, the OG season 1 classic. the first ever outfit. he looks great. orange is as much his color as it is endou's, it suits him very well. we already know gouenji is careful with his looks, since he canonically spikes his hair every morning, and now, we can be sure the fucker knows how to dress himself. he knows how to make colors match, he even matches the sunset. truly unparalleled.

if kazemaru didn't exist, i would have fell in love with him. 10/10

OG season 2. man i want that hoodie. i want it so much. it's as cool in the game as it is in the anime.

i really like how this outfit manages to hide him and completely reveal him at the same time. the orange color, the fucking saiyen hairstyle under the hood. this dumbass had to keep the spikes even though he knew he had to hide them under a fucking hoodie that would ruin his work. it's called dedication. 11/10

before moving on to GO, (where the problems lies mostly), let's talk about two out of category looks.

i love gouenji's looks in the games, especially the very first. he looks like a whole different character, way more rebellious and loudmouthed with his frosted tips, jet black eyes and eyebrows, unbuttoned jacket (we'll talk about those) and single earring. he looks very homosexual. 10/10

after the first game tho, they dropped the delinquent look and he got the inverted pikachu treatment, they made him rounder. a little saddened but not complaining, they kept the best features. 8/10

one day i'll talk about the orion endings in detph, with all the emotions they triggered in me. persisting in giving him a hood is funny though. 7/10

OK NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT GO.

the ishido shuuji outfit. iconic.

my man looks EXPENSIVE and that's great. i can see the first game gouenji in him. i cannot tell if he's gay or european. the raybans, the blood read suit, the slutty unbuttoned shirt, the jewelry, the kazemaru blue streaks iN his unspiked hair ! this outfit would cost me more than my day job monthly salary. he's living the life.

i can't buy him as a villain but i can buy him as a mean girl. 100/10

the concept art is as good as the final design. i do get why they didn't keep the spikes for this look. he would have looked a little too much like a gay broly. not a bad thing but understandably unpreferable.

there it is. the glowdown.

his hair does look good unspiked but... where are the blue streaks. why is he suddely hiding his chest under three layes of clothing. gouenji darling you know warm colors suit you best so why the grey-blue-ish suit ? am i supposed to believe this is the real you ? i know it's not. i hope you find yourself. 4/10

OH BOY NEVERMIND WTF IS THIS.

wtf went through everybody's head while designing this. i get this is a way to mimic adult endou's charm but it does not work. gouenji isn't endou. you love endou because he's a very wholesome bundle of joy (voiced by naruto), and you love gouenji bc he is one half of the inazuma eleven equivalent of sasuke (kidou being the other half), you can't dress them the same way and not see the dissonance.

this man is not gouenji, this man buys cheap beers in the early afternoon without saying thank you to the cashier. this man pretends to be a metalhead. this man just divorced kanye. i would not trust him with my kids.

this is not a relaxed look, this is a sad, depressed look. please gouenji talk to someone. people love you. you can be helped. 0/10

conclusion : i don't know how they fucked up so bad at the end, they really made gouenji forgot about his hard-earned fashion skills. thank god he actually IS that handsome but before that he's all W after W. i'm eager to see him in victory road.

Last month I discovered this artist opened a new surprise me YCH with a cooking game theme. I immediately, excitedly, tried to send a request for Jake and Rose!!! Oh look at how cute they are.. I've watched this gif for days...!! T__T

I love it so much! I love how they incorporated the lil details, decorations and color palette to match their worldview and visual design 🥹🥹 Please notice that Rose's cooking skill is LEVEL MAX!! Well-deserved...

ALSO ALSO, I wrote whether If it's possible to include the 4 kids cameo. 👉👈 My proposed idea was... what if the kids shows up as judges who rate the dishes that jkrs made? (to replace the stars rating)

Owemji l just had a thought shinobu jr. Would most definitely be taller than shinobu and that's the only thing that ticks her off (he got it from his mama mitsuri) bwuahaha and l definitely see him wearing the butterfly pin proudly like his mom. Despite the odd stares he gets in college for wearing it cus y'know society and their masculinity with guys.

Also am just rambling but shinobu is such a gentlewoman when it comes to mitsuri🫠 l can imagine mitsuri accidentally tripping and shinobu catching her while shinobu is just sweating and shaking trying to balance them together but hides it (and succeeds) and mitsuri being a blushing mess- also! Have any thoughts for what shinobu jr. Name would be?🤔 I have a few thoughts, considering shinobu's name meaning stealth/endure what about Haruki (はるき) meaning resilient/spring child. I can imagine mitsuri giving him that name the first time he looked at him as a baby. Hoping that whatever comes his way he'd be able to endure it. Although it's just a thought

Shinobu Jr being taller than Shinobu is iconic lmao. She'd definitely get teased by the other Hashiras to which she may or may not make their drinks sour/bitter but nobody needs to know. Shinobu Jr. would probably be picked up by his mom (Mitsuri) even when he says 'I'm already a big boy, Mom!'. His mum (Shinobu) just smirks while Mitsuri just giggles and they end up in a tickling match.

Shinobu is down bad for her wife. She'd give her the whole world if it was physically possible. They'd be the type of couple their kids would jokingly gag at because of how cute and affectionate they are. Shinobu would make Mitsuri her coffee despite questioning how on earth someone can survive consuming that much sugar and honey pancakes. Mitsuri would prepare Shinobu's clothes. Shinobu once protested saying she doesn't have to but Mitsuri assured her than she wanted to see her wife in her amazing labcoat (Shinobu is either a surgeon or head chemist).

They also go out on monthly dates when the kids are old enough to be babysat by either their uncles or Aunt Kanao/Aoi. Mitsuri loves to try out new foods and Shinobu loves to learn new things about the food and location so it's a win-win!

As for his name, I can't think of one. Tbh I'm not really good at Japanese names so I can't really give one! Haruki is nice though! I like the meaning behind it : D

Dead by Daylight Checkpoint Reached!

All characters at Prestige Level 3 or higher!

*[Until Alan Wake is added in a week, anyway]

(All skills unlocked to maximum level for all characters):

(The Knight is temporarily disabled because they're patching a bug with him, but he's at P5 under that notification).

Guess we'll see how long it takes me to get everyone to P9, next.

I generally randomly roll to switch characters every time after I get a prestige level [No playing a character for back-to-back P-Levels, even when catching them up to the current floor], with certain checkpoints in-place so that I'm unlocking everything evenly. With some exceptions [Mainly, The Dredge at this point, because he's my favourite and the Killer that got me to have fun and start really understanding how playing Killer works], once a character reaches that P-Level, I won't actively work on their next P-Level until everyone else has also reached that checkpoint. I will still play them for dailies or if I need them for a specific archive challenge that's in my way. Anyone who gets to Bloodweb Level 45, I finish off their level, because getting them through BW-Level 50 usually is only 1-3 more games. New characters get levelled to the current lowest P-Level/floor among all others in their role (alternating levels between themselves and any other random character). If there's ever a point where two characters are the last ones still at the current floor, and I roll one of them, the other one is automatically next, just so that the floor gets moved up, and it's not a situation of a character getting completely screwed by the random rolls and then having to jump multiple floors to catch up to *everyone* else. The big checkpoints are:

Prestige 1 - Makes their skills accessible for everyone else in their role - They can unlock it in their own bloodwebs.

Prestige 3 - Fully levels up their skills. Nobody else needs to even pull it out of the bloodweb anymore.

Prestige 9 (Current goal for both killers and survivors, now) - Unlocks everything cosmetic that's only available through the levelling system - Bloody cosmetics and skill-charms.

Past this point, at least for now, it's a free-for-all up to P100 - Nothing else gained specifically other than your number going up. I suspect at some point this will change, and they'll fill out some milestones with backgrounds and/or icons for the relatively new player banner system. If/when that's the case, I'll add more checkpoints into the climb.

Current exceptions I have in-place for my rules:

Killers:

Dredge - Because it's my favourite. Dredge also gets all of my monthly ladder-reset bloodploints, for now, it's the character I'm most actively working on getting to P100. If ever there's a Killer that I can't play, I substitute in Dredge to farm for them and split the BP earned every match 50/50. I just recently got over the hump for the last 4 killers I couldn't play [Cannibal/Leatherface, Hillbilly, Blight, and Nurse - Aka the two chainsaw boys and the weird movement rules, steep-learning-curve, two "best" killers in the game], so everyone can earn their own BP now.

Nurse - Her movement was the toughest to figure out, and consequently the last Killer I started actually playing. I'm still not entirely great at playing as her, but I can at least mostly-reliably hit now. I had been dumping my spare BP into her, so that I could get her stuff unlocked and not have to worry about playing her ever again if I never wanted to. But since I had a match where I finally clicked on how she works, I've been trying with her. That being said, she was very close to that checkpoint once I started actually playing her, and since I'm still learning, completely excluding her from the rotation would just mean any skill I'm getting with her would degrade, so I'll keep playing her past P9 to keep practicing with her.

Xenomorph - A recent addition and a favourite for me right away. Just having a lot of fun when I play it. Designated the back-up farmer if I ever run into a scenario where I just did a level with Dredge and roll a killer I need to farm for.

Survivors:

Bill Overbeck - I'm a big Left 4 Dead fan, and the series holds a special place in my heart with regards to gaming and my community of online friends. So of course the old guy's one of my favourites.

Jeff Johansen - A bigger, bearded dude canonically from a small town in Alberta, near the mountains, whose (first) name is my name? Well, naturally I'm gonna put him in the faves zone.

Alan Wake [Once he's released, anyway] - Look, I absolutely adored Control and thus was majorly hyped for AW2 (still have to go back and play AW1, now that I'm finished with the 2, until the DLC is released). So, yeah, Alan's a new favourite character, and I'm majorly hyped for him coming to The Entity's Realm. Bonus points if Saga or Casey are alternate legendary skins for him [Or the Anderson brothers, as a real pie-in-the-sky stretch] - I'll absolutely break my general rule of not spending money on purely cosmetic items in-game. If they ever make Jesse Faden from Control an alternate skin, the is no question I'll get it immediately.

If I've done my math correctly [going only by whole prestige levels, since I don't really want to try to figure out the weighted average value of individual bloodweb levels],

I'm 32.78 % of the way to getting all Survivors to P9, and 2.95 % of the way to getting every Survivor to P100.

I'm 53.60 % of the way to getting all Killers to P9 (2/34 complete - Because the randomizer I use seemed to really like Singularity), and 4.94 % of the way to getting every Killer to P100.

Of course I've got spreadsheets about this - Have you realized how not-normal I am about this?

It started as a way to keep track of where to find Archive/Tome Challenges that were specific to individual characters, since if I'm playing them, I might as well work on those challenges when I can, and do general challenges with anyone who doesn't currently have outstanding challenges, and ballooned out from there.

DC Comics Announces “Superman” News At New York Comic Con

DC Comics has announced three key pieces of info for Superman fans coming into 2023. First, Action Comics is going to feature three stories about Superman and the Super-family. Second, Superman is getting a new ongoing monthly series beginning in February. Third, Jon Kent fans will be able to keep following the character with Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent.

Action Comics is getting a new format beginning with issue #1051, which will offer three Superman and Super-Family stories. Said writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson, “We’re giving everyone in the House of El their own role and personal journey while still keeping Superman at the forefront, and tying all the Super-titles together in a way that’s reminiscent of the Triangle Era.” (DC Comics) The first story hails from Johnson, Rafa Sandoval, and Dan Jurgens. The second, “Lois and Clark 2: Doom Rising,” hails from Dan Jurgens and Lee Weeks and follows a young Jon Kent on the farm learning about his abilities and battling Doombreaker. The third story, part one a a three-parter from Leah Williams and Marguerite Sauvage, spins out from the Lazarus Planet storyline and follows the return of Power Girl.

Two things real quick. First, This is in regard to the post that circulated on the dash about matching energy and for it to be okay to fade apart/losing interest. I had a former partner drop me and my threads in the past because they assumed I was no longer interested. They even ended up blocking me in the end when I just needed a little time to figure out where to go with my reply. It hurt a bit because I was still very much interested in them and our threads. Guiltlessly, she tore a piece of the strangely-tinted bread and used the bread's texture to scrape the butter in a cup onto it.

it's something very specifically about the way canon portrays them. like yes hiyori is canonically a little bitch and i love her for that, and then at the same time there's jun who's an even bigger bitch but he's able to at least put on a facade in front of others that don't know he's an asshole and they're so ridiculous about it. and then, at the same time, the only people they're unable to fully be assholes with is each other. yes they'll be some teasing little motherfuckers but 6 minutes later jun will be bridal carrying hiyori and hiyori will be all cooing over jun-kun and how she trained her puppy so well. and nagisa and ibara are looking over there "what. :)" "are you two sure you didn't get the wrong soulmates." (they're all in a poly relationship.)

They're so ridiculous to me. They're a power couple in the most pathetic way possible. If you insult either of them the other is gonna almost die fighting you (or until Hiyori breaks one of her nails, but then Jun would come to fight you instead so it still counts). Hyjn makes me insane. They're so. Oauaurughh. The way Hiyori saved Jun in Reimei and brought him into the spotlight, but at the same time Jun indirectly saved Hiyori and brought her the one thing she didn't have back then in Reimei: A real connection. Someone she could feel close to, someone who could stay and deal with her no matter how demanding or "annoying" hiyori could be. Someone who Hiyori could trust after Nagisa and she parted ways, Jun was her safe spot during that time until all of Eden met again. I know about the whole "hiyojun sun/moon" and yeah sure, it makes sense, but to me specifically Jun is the comet to Hiyori's sun. They need each other, and just like the rest of Eden, I don't think they'll let the other go that soon.
