I got paid real adult money to watch Spider-Man, play solitaire, and compete against my boss in Tetris today

#slow days at the axe throwing bar! #we have a huge projector for sports but there werent any sports today so my boss said 'what do we want to watch?' #and the bartender narrowed it down to spiderman and something else #and when i heard spiderman i demanded we watch that. its my favorite movie #omg wait let me tell you something. so i was standing against the front desk and watching the movie #and a woman walked in. i turned around to greet her and she said 'i just wanted to see what you were watching' #she glanced at the screen and said 'oh okay!' and then just. left #iconic. and we have solitaire on our computer (i work the front desk) so ive been playing it a lot lately #but today i was getting bored of it so i played tetris on the computer and my boss saw #so next time i got up to watch the movie he hopped on tetris and beat my high score. and then i hopped on and beat him #now we have a tetris war going on #i got paid $15 an hour for that

just got out of a 12 hr marathon screening

#and boy are my arms tired (falls asleep forever) #it was fun prob never doin that shit again tho. 12 hrs of the only sustenance ur putting into ur body being popcorn and fountain soda #rly takes a toll on u. by the fourth movie i was like dear god save us all #it was still fun tho. they had these reels of vintage ads/trailers they played between each movie it was swag #for one of the movies they hooked up a vcr into the projector which was a neat experience #why didnt anyone tell me wnuf halloween special had a sequel. when i found out thats what we were watching i wanted to rip into the seat #cushion w my teeth i was like YEAAAAAAAAAAA #also we got two sneak preview screenings of a couple movies that aren’t gonna be out until next year letz goooo #they were both alright. they were silly and crazy i lieked them :] #rly neat time. sleepy as hell tho #i have to drive all the way back out there again for a couple more screenings tonight. dear god it never ends #👻.evp

#prime and dolby are pretty similar #i’ve experienced both and prime is nice i watched MI8 in prime #i watched babylon in dolby i think that was the most recent dolby film ive watched (?) not sure… #i can’t really contrast them though #it’s literally side by side theaters maybe the same ones #according to reddit the main difference is that dolby has stacked laser projectors and prime has one projector #i don’t know that my eyes will even tell the difference honestly lol….i just keep missing the dolby screenings of movies 🫥 #it’s just a Me thing…..prime is fine……
