I think that we could do a muppets mcr on the basis that the muppets are playing mcr and not mcr themself (for those unaware some muppet movies have things happening to the muppets and some are movies that the muppets star in)

I have thought about casting and while I am open to suggestions I do think that I made the correct choices

First off Gerard, while it is easy to put the frontman as Kermit I feel like Kermit just doesn't have the right air to do Gerard justice. So the obvious answer is Mrs Piggy, she is a show stopper and would be able to put her all into it giving Gerard's vision the proper theatrics needed.

Next up is Frank. While there are several muppets that I feel work for Frank, this is casting a muppet to play him not be him. So we would have to lean into a specific aspect, either his willingness to fling his body around or his height. For those reasons I think that he should either be played by Gonzo or Sweetums. Gonzo is known for his daring stunts which works perfectly with Frank's high energy movements. Sweetums works in the opposite way, he's one of the biggest muppets and towers over the rest of the cast. So it would be perfect muppet humor to still treat him as if he's the shortest member of the group. Both could work and it would mostly depend on the energy needed.

While I think many people would place Rowlf as Ray I just can not see him in that role. Rowlf is too cemented as a piano player, and while people might try to argue about the ear to hair comparison Rowlf just does not have what it takes to be Ray. Which is why I would cast Janice as Ray. As lead guitarist of electric mayhem Janice is able to embody Ray in a way that other muppets, even musical ones, just wouldn't be able to replicate.

Drums will be Animal. I feel like I don't have to explain that one.

For Mikey I am torn. I could see Scooter in his spot, or Robin if we want to go with the younger brother angle, but overall I feel like there's not a muppet who can embody enough of him to get his energy right. Scooter is too eager, Robin is too young, Beaker too nervous, Sam too serious, etc and so on. So there is only one real direction to go, Mikey is Mikey.

Basically every movie needs a Muppet remake, but if I could only pick one, it would absolutely have to be The Princess Bride. Like, imagine Kermit as Wesley and Piggy as Buttercup? The iconic moments of Buttercup roasting everyone with Piggy's attitude? Kermit rolling down the hill yelling "as you wish"???

And the rest of the cast is literally just built to be Muppetized. Gonzo as Inigo Montoya ofc (Count Rugen, played by Bunsen, killed Camilla in this one, obviously the torturer is played by Beaker now) and Fezzik is Fozzik. Miracle Max and Valerie are Statler and Waldorf, Vizzini is Rizzo the Rat, Animal is the old hag who screams in Buttercup's Dream, the King is Sam Eagle, the guy who goes "mawwiage" is the Swedish Chef, ROUSs are Rowlfs of Unusual Size.

But wait, I hear you ask, who's Humperdinck? only a fool would forget to cast the villain! but do I look like a FOOL to you??? Villains in Muppet Movies are always played by humans! I'm open to suggestions but I think it would be fun to have a traditional Lanky White Man With Strange Cheekbones And Long Black Hair play Humperdinck. Benedict Cumberbatch, Adam Driver, Chris Pine With A Wig, and Tom Hiddleston are all viable options.

I know you're ready to criticize me, but imagine Piggy about to stab herself since she can't be with Kermit, only to hear "there's a shortage of perfect pork loin. It'd be a shame to damage yours." Or watching Kermit fight Gonzo and Fozzie, then do a battle of the wits with Rizzo. Statler and Waldorf bickering about how much they hate Humperdinck and whether Kermit is worth reviving. After he's revived when he's too weak to move, only Kermit's head is puppeted so his limbs flop wildly.
