PianoDuet on my brain, need to talk about them

-Thinking about the time Nephew first calls Teeth Uncle. Nephew is shy so it takes him a while to call Teeth Uncle, and I like to imagine it happened suddenly and without warning, like on a totally mundane morning. Teeth is on one of his rare days off and is spending it at Rowlf’s place, Rowlf is busy preparing lunch while Teeth is watching Nephew, who is probably watching TV. At one point Nephew turns to Teeth and asks him to turn the volume up, which he does, and Nephew replies with “Thanks Uncle Teeth!” 

Que Teeth’s eyes snapping open and his reply of “your welcome” being cut off as he proses what Nephew just referred to him as. 

He then rushes to Rowlf like “ROWLF THE TYKE CALLED ME UNCLE!-“ 

and then Rowlf had to stand there patting an emotional Teeth’s back as he cried La happy tears 

Teeth, sobbing: He called me Uncle Rowlf!

Rowlf, patting his back: There there

Teeth, sobbing harder: I love this little family so much!!

Rowlf, smiling: I know, be strong Teeth 

-I like to think Rowlf can be quite the charmer when he wants too, he’s got a smooth, deed voice fit for the job. 97% of the time, Teeth is the bigger flirt, he’s a rockstar, he’s got the fame, the confidence, and a voice as smooth as honey. He’s a pro in the art of courting. Rowlf used to get quite startled by it but I imagine once he’s used to it he just rolls his eyes playfully while his tail wags behind him. Though with Teeth as a partner, I imagine Rowlf has picked up on a few of Teeth’s methods so Rowlf can sometimes turn the tables and catch Teeth off guard. And Teeth loves it, he loves it so much, and once he processes that Rowlf is flirting with him he gets this big, excited grin on his face and he practically glows! 

-Being a rockstar Teeth is on tour, a lot. And with Rowlf and Nephew being dogs they’re naturally quite clingy when Teeth gets back home. Most of the time Teeth is barely into the Tavern before he’s smothered by Rowlf and Nephew. Nephew often greeting him via run and tackle, which doesn’t take Teeth off his feet with Nephew being so little, so Teeth has learnt to hold his arms out and catch him. 

-I imagine Rowlf is someone who doesn’t feel the need to gossip about his romantic status, if people know they know, but he doesn’t see a reason to being it up unless someone asks. Teeth is more laid back, but being a rockstar he kind of has (or tries to) keep parts of his life private, though often he’s very chill and open with things. If they where together I imagine the muppet crew would be the first group of people they’d tell, and Teeth would then be unashamedly affectionate with Rowlf afterwards. Now that everyone knows they’re together, there’s no point in hiding it! Going to see Rowlf at the Tavern? he addresses him as darling when he sits at the bar. Rowlf passes him his drink? Teeth gives his hand a little affectionate sweetie and teasing blows a kiss after him. Rowlf is standing within smooching range?? Smooch
