*picks up megaphone in a public square* MOONLIGHT CHICKEN IS THE BEST SHOW!

I lost my mind several times during the third episode, but here are the top three:

Ten seconds! That's all that Alan was on the screen, but he has been a lurking presence for three entire episodes. What made this so unexpected was that I thought Wen was alone in the apartment as usual, but Alan had been there the ENTIRE time. Wen just didn't care!

This was brief, but it packed a punch. The backstory. The rings. The phone. The similar issue that will arise and cause MAJOR conflict between Wen and Jim about infidelity. This was gooood!

I screamed. I actually let out an audible sound from my body. I was happy for Heart reminiscing about his great day while laying in bed, THEN HE TURNED AROUND!!!!!!

Deceased.

Out of commission.

Finished with this! It's Lila's Halloween Town design.

It's supposed to be a companion piece to the Christmas Town design from last year. She was a Christmas angel then and initially I wanted to go the "fallen angel" route for Halloween, so the initial concept looked more occult, but then I noticed the residents of Halloween Town are more classic like witches, vampires, skeletons, red-horned devils.

If you see my posts a lot, you probably know I got a hand injury this year. I think of all the things I wanted to draw, this is the piece I wanted to do, for closure purposes. The Christmas piece was one of the last ones I made before getting injured, and I wanted to see that idea through by completing the set.

It's crazy how at the end of last year I had so many concepts in my sketchbook and Plans to make Cool Stuff. I wanted to reach New Heights and work on Projects and be in Different Fandoms, but then I got screwed over in the hand department. I dunno about now, I'm way too tired to be ambitious, and too scared to hope. I have that frustrating desire to make stuff but the fire blows out quick in the face of everything.

For sure, even if I recover physically, I have some ways to go mentally. I've had to process a lot of things this year.

Im not sure if this goes into the critical tag but, the only other scene in FTF i remember besides the dumbass Huntlow nonsense and Belos playing around in the dirt with a Grimwalker corpse was that completely pointless Odalia scene. Odalia sees Eda's cage is busted open and makes a gesture that indicates she is going to do something with this information. So its like, oh no, Odalia is aboutta do some fucked up shit in WAD.

But it never comes.

And it's sooooo fucking funny. It's completely and utterly pointless. Its even more funny when you watch all the season 3 episodes back to back.

Non non, I will not be watching it as it airs. That's a Tuesday, so I will be watching Kiseki: Dear to Me and going to work like God and the United States capitalist society intended. It's only part one, so I also don't have the patience for this long con. Watching two parts live is a young person's game. Sad times.

However, I have no predictions, but I do have a long list of "praying to all the saints and lighting all the candles" requests.

Midnight Museum 2 - This better happen or so help me baby Jesus, I will be insufferable.

Tired Gays The Series - Give my "older" gays their time to shine. Give me a BL about a man who is so great at his job, he hasn't had time for love, then he falls in love with his competition or the cute guy he always sees at the grocery story. Give me adults. And GIVE ME PAPANG AS THE LEAD!

Drake?! (you gotta say it like Soulja Boy) - Give him a lead again. Period.

Gym Bros - I need this like I need air. I've always wanted this but seeing Nanon and Pond work out in Dirty Laundry has me stuck on this scenario. What would be the plot? I don't care! Pair up the Joylada crew with Force as the lead, and it'll be like Mama Gogo but for gym rats. Do you see the vision?

JoongDunk - My troublesome tykes must be on my screen every single year, or I'll turn into dust. Joong pops up in shows by himself, but Dunk doesn't, so even if they aren't paired together (THE HORROR!), let Pretty Boy Dunk show up somewhere alone for once.

Fluke Squared - I have a Fluke Pusit-as-the-lead agenda, and Fluke Gawin should be the other half of that equation. If not, give Fluke Pusit and Thor another shot because they did so well in The Warp Effect.

Another TWO GLs - I write "another" even though we have yet to get the first, but I need more appreciation for the ladies, and we can get that with more GLs.

Good Title - Title barely came into GMMTV this year, but has already been in three shows . . . as the bad guy. Can he play someone nice in 2024? I can't hate this man every show. That's rude.

Inn x Title - GMMTV now has Miracle of Teddy Bear's Inn on its roster too. Don't waste these men. Put 'em together!

FirstKhao romcom with Sea as support! - If Ray would get a threesome in Only Friends, it would be with a character Sea is playing. That's all I gotta say about that.

I'll pray about it, but, honestly, I'll take whatever GMMTV gives me. PerthChimon were not expected last year, then the lineup reveal hit with them screaming they "fucking hated" each other, and Dangerous Romance is now my entire personality. GMMTV doles out so many shows, that I'm sure there will be at least one if not six shows I'll look forward to. But if I had to pick one?

LMFAO YES THOUGH, barbarian!Bakugo acting so much like a feral (momma) cat trying to live in your house. Bringing you combinations of dead animals and foraged goodies, even if the animals are like... concerningly weird and strange (sometimes deer, rabbits, and birds... but also foxes, wild pigs... skunk).

And what's funny is you try to get him to stop and explain that you're fine and you don't need his shit, but... he just DOESN'T believe you and continues bringing you stuff. No matter what.

Maybe cuz he's the village's best hunter but like... seeing that your cottage (?) isn't decorated in pelts and branches of herbs and drying meats 24/7 makes him soooo concerned. The first time he manages to bully his way through your door, he's sitting at your humble little eating table and just looking around... terribly grumpy while he unloads his pack.

(He's thinking about the fact that his future bride is probably starving, you're thinking that he's WEIRD).

And he can totally speak but... in my head I always imagine barbarian!Bakugo as super quiet, so it's not like he ever explains any of this to you, either. Just sort of... wedges his way into your life via brute force.

You see him at the market, haggling with the meat stall about how much he should be paid for his most recent hunt.. and the second he notices you without a fur pelt on, just like... rushes over to throw his own over your head. You try to stop him and shove his arms off of and he's just blocking your way until you keep it on.

And he's always like... coming over and skinning animals right there in your yard, salting them and everything and leaving them out to dry as though you don't have your own curing processes going on. Probably even takes off his furs and just does it in his loincloth, too. You can't even ask him what's going on without having to bear witness to all... that. All the girls who live next to you flock to your fence to watch except he just keeps glancing at you to see if you’re looking.

(It's also funny cuz after, he always waits for you to eat, too. Won't leave until he sees at least something go into your mouth... and when he does, sits there until you to tell him the cut of it was good, or the seasonings were right. Literally with his ears perked up and eyes all wide.)

It's probably not until the your country's yearly courting festival that you realize his goal. It's kind of a big deal for your village mostly cuz everyone is expecting Bakugo to like... compete for another nation's princess... but nah. The second all the eligible men are allowed to ask for someone's hand in marriage, he's running right for you.

(And the same stuff still happens, skunks and all, just... now you're officially engaged LMFAOOOO.)

I finally watched the paralogue about Lorenz's dad and I correct myself

The plan was not to ask mercenaries to dice merchants coming from Riegan, because uwu poor mercs couldn't stomach killing poor, unarmed merchants :'(

So instead they set wild beasts on their way :')

Obviously it's way more safe for those merchants, to rely on a wild beast's instinct of not slaughtering them all but only to frighten them than for mercs to, just, beat up those merchants without killing them.

100/100 foolproof plan !

But...

Claude's uncle, that imbecile, instead of running away, tried to fight against the beasts to protect the merchants, and died, just like said merchants afterwards.

People wonder if this stupid order was sent by Gloucester Sr.

It wasn't lord Gloucester who ordered those mercs turned bandits to proceed, but another unnamed member of the House.

Which is funny, because much like Naruto, you never meet members of various Houses/Clans save for the heir and maybe the current Leader, but suddenly other members of the family exist to make sure the named characters aren't BaD.

They warped Agarthan style ?

Sad uwus for those poor mercs, they only set up defenseless people to be eaten by wild beasts, but they were really upset when their employer betrayed them :'(

Tfw you can't enjoy an "ancient Adrestian spectacle" anymore :(

Morale of this story :

An unnamed guy ordered mercs to set loose beasts on defenseless people "only to scare them uwu", Claude's uncle BaD because he didn't wanted to run away and wished to protect the merchants so he fought and everyone died.

But it's not those poor mercs's fault :'(

They were betrayed by their employer :'(

Because they thought Erwin asked them to set those beasts loose, and when people died he turned against them for, uh, having fucking killed people-but it wasn't them it was those beasts, and the order was to scare them, and anyways it wasn't their fault they were supposed to run but stupid Godfrey wanted to protect his people :/

And ultimately the blame doesn't lay on those poor mercs who only "listened to orders" as people were brutally killed, but on the unnamed Gloucester member who gave that order that is totally not Lorenz's dad.
