Otome Jam 2024 jam page is finally up and along with it, we are continuing last year's Josei Jam!

Join now to be notified when it starts and go ahead and prepare yourself for the start OtoMay (and June)! As always please be sure to read the rules as we have made some updates again and this time provided more international support by adding translations (currently French, with German coming up) for Otome Jam! Even if your game is not in English, you can submit it to both jams, but as a disclaimer, the two hosts mainly speak English. If you would to submit a translation for either jam, feel free to contact us on Discord!

Likewise, we are still updating and getting some things ready, for any more questions our Discord server is available!

Vivi Rus, Jade's roommate and childhood friend. The  lead singer and guitarist of the Pathogens, Vivi can spend hours talking  about music, the industry, and how her talent goes unrecognized.

Antonia Newmason, an heiress that's coasted through  life with her money and connections. Unfortunately, her easy life is  coming to an end, and she needs Jade's luck.

Terrwyn, a mysterious woman who wants Jade for reasons unspecified. She doesn't seem to know much outside of the natural world.

Saint Ceri - February devlog

Hi everyone! Like I'd hoped, I finished writing Saint Ceri's script this month! The story reached 117k words (I originally estimated it would be about 80k... but I am notoriously bad at estimating wordcounts). This gave me a boost of motivation so I started writing content for the booklet earlier than planned, and already wrote an extra from Bryn's PoV and started Kyros's.

Art-wise, I finished the base version for the 3 NSFW CGs I was working on! I now need to draw the variants and polish things a bit more. I also started sketching the final two CGs (a SFW and NSFW CG for the route where you end up with all three LIs), and they're going to be the most challenging CGs yet :') it's so hard to fit four characters into a CG and make it look nice! That's it for this month! I'm decently happy with my progress for February. Wrapping up the game's writing is definitely a big relief! The plan for March is to finish those 3 NSFW CGs, make their SFW alts, and continue working on the final two CGs. I think I'll start scripting the ending content too (most of the game is scripted already but not tested; the ending content takes up a whole 32k words so that's still a lot to script, but at least there's no complicated branching). June Update and 1000 Followers!

Hey everyone! I'm back with some new screenshots! So what has happened since the last update?

I decided to rebuild the website in a more stable framework and move away from WordPress. There was a range of reasons for this from performance and accessibility to authentication and security but I just felt like it was the right move for stability and scale.

Some of you may remember I was working on a developer portal. Well this is what it is but it's just become the main website now :joy:

So! What have I done

Started the rebuild of the website in Next.js 13

Created a new database schema for the website.

Set up Authentication

Linked Authentication and the website database

Made progress on responsive navbar design. (Pictures below)

Implemented a dark and light mode.

Next steps

Create new Developer Submission form for new entries.

Migrate already received data.

Look into S3(AWS) Image management.

Get the modes working 100% with Server Side rendering.

Sorry for the technical speak. Mainly I have done a lot of the initial set up behind the scenes and are now working on forms. Forms are interesting because it's not as simple as just add an input and save the data. There is a lot of validation and security issues that need to be looked at to keep everyone on the website safe. So that is my next be hurdle.

So that's all the visual updates for now! I will keep plugging away at the backend stuff for a while which means their wont be a ton of visual updates for a while but progress is being made. Saintess Alasdair is Dead!

In case you're wondering, I was working (and still am) with Amiralo and Pumpkin Spike on the demo for Saintess Alasdair is Dead (SAiD for short) and it has been playable for a while now! You can play the demo here!

I'm still working on the new cover art and sooner or later the CGs. Though I got another project in the works with a pumpkin up ahead and some Love's Apathy art revamping and commissions next month, so expect me to be a slow burn of progress.
