Annabeth considers this for a moment. She brings up Piper a lot, sure. But she's brought up Percy too, right? He's on the emergency contact list. He's the one home with Ali most of the time, after all, with his weird evening schedule at the fire station. "Husband," she says carefully. "My husband, Percy."

She watches as the teacher goes from a bemused contentment to a horrified shock. "I - I am so sorry to presume. I just -" She sputters. She begins to look from Ali to Annabeth, then her gaze flickers up to Annabeth's hair. And, suddenly, Annabeth gets it.

"Oh!" she says. "Oh, no, you're good. I just - yeah, I hate taking care of mine, it's less manageable than hers, and it tangles so bad." She finds herself running her fingers through Ali's meticulously cared for curls, the ones she's moisturized and gently carded through, the locks she's found joy and solace in managing, unlike her own. The teacher relaxes. Annabeth knows that expression. It's one she wears often when interacting with people she doesn't understand all that well, when they wait for her to explain what she means instead of assuming the worst. "I should have asked," the teacher says with a laugh, and it's only then that Annabeth realizes she's got no idea what Ali's teacher's name is. "My wife and I do that a lot."

Annabeth relaxes even more. She feels safe with vulnerable people. Maybe because her experiences with gods and their assuredness have failed her every time. "Don't worry. It's really hard to offend me."

Ali distracts them both by getting up and walking over to a space in the room, grabbing a white file and, staggering under the weight of it, drops it in front of Annabeth.

"Mama," she says, pushing it toward Annabeth, "this is my bucket. I got all my journal stuff in here."

The teacher nods, pulling out a green notebook. "Thank you for reminding us of our plan, Ali," she says, "let's talk about how hard you work in reading and how quickly you pick things up in math!"

Ali beams. "Okay, Ms. Bryan!"

Ah, Annabeth thinks, watching in amiable silence as Ms. Bryant and Ali share Ali's math and language arts successes, her ability to finally blend and decode CVC words despite years of dyslexia getting in her way showcased by her teacher, and settles, finally, as Ali is praised for the progress instead of disparaged for it, Ms. Bryan is her name.

So, I thought long and hard about this, but I have decided to not delete any of my Pen/Builder content. Despite how much of a clown he's made of my Builder, I believe that he genuinely does love her, but he's just utterly cruel, and yes, cruel people can love, too, but Liira deserves better, and whether or not Pen decides to turn a moral leaf (doubtful) is up to him. It's not her job to change him; their relationship is dead in the water. Liira slowly but surely moves on and ends up in an unexpected relationship with Unsuur. After being tossed into the world of teyvat, you start to make your way down starsnatch cliff. the dirt path was a great aid to the city and in all honesty the walk down the cliff was quite nice as you got see the lovely sights of windrise and a ancient four winds temple.

there were a few adventures out and about but they paid you no mind. It was better that way. as you slowly approached the small cooking pot set almost right outside the city you decided it be best to test a few things.

Grabbing a small left over sack from the wood stump, you took out a small pocket knife sheathed in leather. Taking the small knife out you looked around to see if anyone was there. to your relief there was no one besides the pigeons on the bridge.

Both of them have visions so both of them could possibly recognize your aura.. even though venti uses a fake one, it’s still likely that as an archon he would recognize your aura regardless..

well that is if they decide to believe in the strange aura of yours. There’s a chance they won’t even bother tracking you down.

gathering your thoughts together you make your way into the city nodding at both of the guards as a sign of respect. To your surprise they didn’t even stop you from going in without a small questioning.. you guess it’s because they barely get any respect *snorts*.

walking into the city, you realize it’s about 9 o’clock and your a bit peckish after the long walk. Why not treat yourself to a delicious fisherman’s toast? looking around you as you make your way up to Sara, you find that the city is more crowded than what it seems to be in game. People by the fountain, merchants flocking the side of the paths, and even little kids playing with what looked to be a yo-yo. In all honesty it put a smile on your face. Everything was so beautiful.

What JJK polycule would you be a part of?

For me like I said in my original post I took it twice and the common factor was Gojo in both

satoru gojo and suguru geto this would be a super chill, deep and fun relationship. i think you’d all be best friends. its the kind of relationship where youre all comfortable with and know each other so well that words arent really even needed. gojo loves you and geto, geto loves you and gojo, and you love them both. you would die for each other. people might not even be able to tell if you guys are together or just close friends, but the answer is: both! you have fun together, no matter where you are or what you do. i feel like you and geto have to take turns being the responsible one; if you and gojo are up to something he’ll gently persuade you not to do something that ends with jailtime, and when he and gojo plan an elaborate, sinister prank on nanami you have to tell them to please leave the poor dude alone. gojo is also the clingiest mf in the world, so youre gonna have to let him cling to you or geto like a koala sometimes. geto isnt as clingy, but will want to just rest with you while reading a book. both of them crave stability, but also fun. oh, and i just see them being protective as hell. theyre the strongest, so you never have to worry about anything happening to you. overall this relationship is just very stable and sweet, and you all love each other more than anything.

satoru gojo and kento nanami this would be a… kinda chaotic but sweet relationship. you are the middle ground that keeps nanami from killing gojo. they bicker pretty often, and disagree on a lot of things — i do think theyd love each other, though. its just in subtext. when nanami tells gojo to fuck off, its said with love. all jokes aside, i think this relationship would work out well, as long as you can balance them out. sometimes gojo needs someone to be a menace with him, sometimes nanami needs someone who ISNT a menace. gojo will steal both your and nanamis clothes, and also cling to you 24/7. nanami usually pushes him off, so youll have to oblige, otherwise he’ll sulk and ask you when the divorce is coming. he’ll buy both of you gifts all the time, and even if hes annoying sometimes, he loves you; and tries to show it, even when it ends up with him audibly saying ”cringe” afterwards. nanami is more lowkey with his affection, but shows it through acts of service and words of affirmation. he wants to make sure youre not feeling overwhelmed, especially considering youre the one who has to ”put up with gojo” most of the time. they argue and bicker, but the relationship is full of love from all sides.

I can see it but I also think I would be more stressed in this dynamic than I am in my roruru one.

We got a little angsty with this one, but I hope you enjoy!

Before the kids came along, whenever Bradley returned from a mission or a deployment, you knew that you’d be spending at least three solid days in bed with him. Usually more.

It wasn’t just sex, though that was certainly part of it. That first day or two, you’d spend hours upon hours becoming reacquainted with one another’s bodies, describing without words how much you’d missed each other, how much you’d longed for these moments when it was just you and him and the rest of the world faded away.

But it was more than that. Every time Bradley came home again, every time he defied death and made it back safely into your arms, he wanted nothing more than to be held there. Sometimes you’d spend hours simply tangled up in each other’s arms, neither of you uttering a word, just listening to the sound of your hearts beating in tandem. Sometimes Bradley would talk about what he had experienced, about the dangers he’d faced and the emotions he’d felt. Sometimes he’d sob into your chest, clinging to you as you ran your fingers through his hair and whispered soothing words into his ear.

Even when you did have to leave the comfort of your bed to make food or take a bath, Bradley’s arms were always wrapped tightly around you, not wanting to let you out of his sight for a moment.

You understood and you always held him for as long as he needed.

One night, after gently tracing the line of Bradley’s cheek with your fingertips until his eyes began to close, you wrapped your arms tightly around him and held him close, resting your cheek against the top of his head.

“Thank you, honey,” he mumbled sleepily, pressing a soft kiss to your collarbone. “The safest place in the world is in your arms.”
