This is not exhaustive - this is just the portion I've saved for my own studies (I've read and referenced about a third of them so far) and I encourage readers and researchers to do their own digging. I think sometimes people HAVE to work with abusers because the industry is just so filled with them that you can't boycott them all or it's actually you who are being boycotted or jobless. But date? many up and coming female (and even some male) actors and artists find themselves with no other choice but to work with horrible men

recent examples i can think of is chloe bailey - a lot of people gave her so much shit for working with chris brown without thinking that she simply may not have had a say in who her record label wants her to collab with

as well as with the women who end up working with sam levinson, i doubt either sydney sweeney, alexa demie, barbie ferreira, hunter schafer or lily-rose depp enjoy having to be canvases that sam can paint his p*rn fantasies upon

but that being said taylor, the biggest pop star in the world, is definitely not being forced to do anything especially not date an absolute and utter shithead

this whole thing reeks of when taylor dated john mayer, a very obvious racist and misogynist but back then she was a child who just seemed to be so hopelessly infatuated with him who just couldn't see what was wrong with him

but now she's a grown thirty three year old woman and she's once again dating an obvious racist and misogynist only this time it's very obvious that she knows about the things he's done and she knows what her fans (and even just the general public) are saying about her - about them and she's just choosing to ignore it

and that isn't it, especially when she's choosing to stay quite about politics and social issues while working with people have done incredibly shitty things, traveling all around the world in her private jet whilst there's a climate crisis going on, and performing in states like florida and texas whose governments are doing everything in their power to the strip rights of women and the lgbt community

This is going to get super personal and deep and probably offend some people. But do other Black female Aces have a hard time fitting into the Black community, or just not fit in at all. Let’s be honest, culturally, the Black community is very phallocentric, borderline hypersexual. Everything has to focus on the black man and boys. It’s our job to be submissive and protect the black man and boys.

Which leads to most female black aces not fitting in with the black community in general. How many mainstream rappers and singers that are black women have a discography that is mostly about sucking dick and eating p*ssy? The answer would be a lot. But even when we, as black girls and women, try to break out of the overly sexual culture and try do different types of music like country and pop(like Taylor swift or Harry styles) we’re clowned in because “we have no sex appeal!” And “we’re too corny!” This actually happened to Chloe Bailey who is now being called corny for how sexual she is now that she started being more sexual in her songs.

It’s almost like if you have no interest in some form of sex at all, you’re basically forgotten about in the Black Community. I would say Black female Aces are put in a unique position where we’re expected to be overly sexual within our culture, but because we don’t adhere to it, everyone just pretends we don’t exist. Or unleashes their wrath upon us because we didn’t act as sexual as they wanted us to be.

until i write a full backstory ,, nev was born a twin just a few minutes after their brother gabe ! their parents are famous actors, and i headcanon that they’re pretty much ethan hawke + uma thurman career wise. they encouraged their kids to get into acting, but gabriel always said neither of them wanted to walk in their parents footsteps. even tho nev was interested in acting, they went along with their brother’s denial of it .. gabriel was their parents favorite tho </3 and they always kind of strived for their parents’ attention bc gabe was the louder, more fun child

gabe wanted to become a singer, and encouraged nev to join him - with their parents’ support, they started up a music duo called ‘dominazion’, which is a play on their surname dominguez + domination. they are talented angels and everyone loves them !! eventually gabe turned into a more rebellious wild child once they started getting more famous and turned to him getting himself arrested more than a handful of times, just to be bailed out by nev. they couldn’t get him to stop acting out and [ tw drugs ] taking everything under the sun, and when they gave him the ultimatum to stop ruining their relationship and reputation, he refused and told nev that they would be nothing without him.

so now they’re trying to prove that they can make something of themself after the duo’s breakup by going solo, and landing a pretty big acting gig as the little mermaid !!!
