If anyone wants to help, these are the main ways you can help! The GoFundMe is to collect money for various things we may need, but it doesn't pay directly (it takes 3 - 4 days for donations to hit my account).

The PayPal link sends money directly to me, so it's the best way to help immediately, like if we need food or gas.

This particular wishlist on Amazon is just things we need that can be sent to the address where we pick up our mail. There are a lot of gift cards on there that would be a huge help, plus other things we need.

Mod Ragna Needs Some Help

For the fic title meme: Ships In The Night!

send me a made-up fic title and i’ll tell you what i would write to go with it

To go with this title, I think I’d go with the premise of the one that got away. 

Jim was Bones’ childhood crush, they grew up together, but they hadn’t been exactly in the same circles. But through some twist of fate  - maybe a contest or something - he and Jim end up going on a date, a couple of dates that go amazingly well. But then Jim’s mom gets transferred, and Leonard never hears from him again.

After going to med school and marrying Jocelyn, Bones knew his marriage was starting to fall apart, and one night he got incredibly drunk in a bar and ended up going home with a blond stranger, who, it turns out, wasn’t a stranger. But by the time wakes up again, Jim is already gone, and Bones goes back to Jocelyn, riddled with guilt, and determined to make things work. 

Obviously, they don’t. And Bones finds himself, drunk again, on the same shuttle about to leave Earth as the man he’s loved for pretty much as long as he can remember. Of course, that meeting doesn’t go well either, and Bones ends up vomitting on Jim rather than kissing him - as he’d intended. 

Eventually it all ends happily, their ships collide in the form of them ending up as roommates in the second year at the academy, and it takes Jim awhile, but he finally realizes who Leonard is.

And they swear never to be parted again.

Apologies for the wait! Things have been super crazy lately cos of Christmas.

002 | Give me a character & I will tell you

-How I feel about this character:

I love him - he’s kind and funny and really cares about his friends and chosen family.

-All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Here we go. Kara, James, Lyra, Lena, Lucy at one point, and a one-sided crush (on his part) on Barry.

-My non-romantic OTP for this character:

Alex, probably. They’ve grown to be like brother and sister over the course of the show and it’s very sweet and hilarious.

-My unpopular opinion about this character:

I... don’t think I have one? I don’t pay much attention to the main tag cos it’s been mostly negative since season 2. So if I have an unpopular opinion, I don’t know that it’s unpopular.

-One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

I wish they’d done more with his dad/his past beyond that one episode. Like, they should’ve brought his dad back for another episode, gone into what happened to his mom, and so on. 

I also want to know what the hell happened to Lyra. Like, as horrible as the whole Kara/James breaking up thing was, at least there was a scene about it. Lyra just seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth. 

-my OTP:

I’d say Kara/James/Winn. They really bounce off each other well, really care about each other, and a decent chunk of it was actually canon.

-my cross over ship:

Winn totally had a crush on Barry back in the first Superflash crossover. And he and Cisco could be cute if they ever met. (C’mon, shows, let them meet already.)

-a headcanon fact:

He’s autistic. Winn is definitely, 100% sure, autistic. 

And - going by his actor - he’s an amazing singer. He’s kinda self-conscious about it and is kinda sick of anyone who hears him always asking him to sing for them. So he never outright tells the team, but they all eventually find out somehow.

If I can get the entire amount still needed, I can do the following:

Get a nice dinner for my birthday

Get a bigger framed pair of glasses, as my current frame is too small, and get a replacement pair of prescription sunglasses as my regular sunglasses just aren't cutting it

Get a few more supplies for the room (a broom/standing dustpan, paper towels, NeutraAir spray) and for the cats (cat litter and cat food, including the special dry food they need)

We currently have the room until the morning of the 27th, but my birthday is on the 23rd and I'd love to get the room for a few extra days if possible so that we can relax until we get our disability.

We'll be going to the LGBTQA center to get Lena transferred to a gender-affirming care GP and we'll go to Exodus as well next week as well, so any help with gas to get there would be amazing.

Okay. Happy holidays from the SSS mod! - The snow flurries were coming down faster and harder, and she knew she wouldn't be leaving Baker Street tonight. Not that it was a BAD thing, but this was a new step for them, for her to stay with him and not the other way around. But he pressed a mug of hot cocoa into her hands as he stood by the window with her, close but not touching, and she knew that even though it wasn't the Christmas she had expected, it may just be her best Christmas ever.
