Hi and I hope you are having a good day. What were the witches on 4chan like? Until I read your posts about Thelema, I didn't know there had ever been anything like that on there. Did it involve Pepe the Frog invocations? I picture Tumblr but completely the opposite politically.
Witches on 4chan? Were there?
I began lurking the /x/ board in 2010-ish after discovering it as a hub for posting creepypasta. There also were threads on /x/ about Tarot and the occult. I'd been occult-obsessed since about 1999, so I dove right in. That said, I'm not sure 4chan had a "witch community" when I was there.
There was an occult community, but witches?
Didn't know many people called themselves witches on /x/. I didn't use the term at the time. Most people on there kind of shuddered at the idea of being called a witch. Wicca especially had a bad, fluffy rep.
People used words like magicians, mages, and similar. In case that doesn't clue you in, ritual (ceremonial, "high," whatever) magic got an emphasis, as did chaos magic. That said, it's not as if the techniques and concepts didn't overlap some.
(I realize there's nebulous terminology at play here. Where does witchcraft end and ritual or so-called "high" magic begin? What counts as "chaos" magic? Good question, eh?)
The Golden Dawn system was popular. There were plenty of disagreement about the best way to talk to angels or summon demons. Most of it was a xerox of the kind of discourse you see anywhere ritual mages gather.
Aleister Crowley, as a major propagator of the Golden Dawn stuff, got lots of attention on /x/. Thelema became a regular source of arguments on /x/.
In case you're not familiar with Thelemic cultural traditions and customs, arguments are a huge Thelemic tradition. Inside and outside of that, people had slapfights over whether Frater So-and-So was the real Such-and-Such of This-and-That.
Many people tried to charge/cast sigils by posting them on /x/. There was an element of attention equaling sigil success? An ancestor of "likes to charge, reblogs to cast?"
The most popular threads were for Tarot readings, though. People would post using tripcodes and do readings for anonymous users. I did this a bit as practice, but it was hard to get feedback of course.
All in all, it wasn't much more than a chaotic online space with occult vibes. Those aren't exactly rare. You could find plenty on Facebook and Amino. Heck, Tumblr shares some commonalities.
The kind of right wing community 4chan would become known as was only in its early stages at that point. It was also self-quarantined to other, non-/x/ boards, and rarely mentioned elsewhere. I suspect the site, or at least /x/ itself, was more center than right-wing, at least at the time.
Back in the early 2010s, I'd recently left school, where I hadn't exactly learned much as far as I'm concerned. When it came to social/political issues, I didn't know my ass from my ears. It's a good thing I didn't run into too many covert fascist types. Instead, I scrolled through posts about One Man Hide and Seek, OTO discourse, and the Hatman.
Don't get me wrong. There were definitely (some) genuine (loud) bigots and jerks on the site back then, too, of course. And there were small cults that sprang up via Skype, people harassing their exes, and so on. JoS (and we all hopefully know who they are by now) would sometimes try and recruit, with mixed results.
But that alleged Pepe egregore stuff? Not a thing on /x/ when I was on there. Pepe as a regular old meme rather than a political symbol was a thing, though. It was innocuous at the time. He showed up in /x/ memes, doing Enochian evocations or talked to Goetic kings, stuff like that.
I was on /x/ around the same time that Gamergate happened, and 4chan made the news about it. I'm sure this was a huge topic on boards like /pol/ and /v/, but it didn't get much attention from other places on the site.
As a 4chan janitor (won't name them) put it back then, "the girl posting on the origami board doesn't know or care about Gamergate." The media's image of 4chan as some kind of underground attack site has never been accurate.
Overall? 4chan's /x/, at least in 2010-2014-ish, wasn't much worse than (for example) current-day Facebook. A mess, yeah, but not exactly the swamp of bigotry you might've imagined. Mostly just ridiculous, over-the-top, and dramatic.
That doesn't mean I've plans to go back, or that I recommend it, but it wasn't like you're thinking. I don't know what the site, or even just /x/, is like now, of course. I ended up leaving the site and a lot of related communities over the years.

Why You Should Vote for Hakupo
Hello. Good evening, morning, afternoon, brunch, sleepytime whatever time it is for you right now. I am here to sell my little autism creature to you. This is going to be a fairly long post so, just sit tight.
The second round of polls will not be out for a couple of hours. I wanted to reblog the post with this, BUT- I have class at 3 when the polls are released. Plus, gotta get those non Hakupo believers before they vote for anyone else, amirite?
Also the stickers used between catagories are the official line stickers by Pikomaru ➜ https://store.line.me/stickershop/product/3951590/en
Reminder; It's only Shinji sweep until its Hakupo sweep.
No, I'm not putting a section breaker because even if you don't read it, I want you to see the sheer size of this... It's an essay at this point. Let's get started shall we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What is a Hakupo?
Hakupo Tsukishiro is a energetic and powerful masculine voicebank for Utau (and amadeusy but we dont talk abt brunnnoooo). He was released all the way back in 2010 and has had many important milestones in his 13 years of distribution. Four compilation albums, 7 voicebanks, 2,500+ fanarts (that i all have), and uses by really awesome people *points to the crowd*. That's all of you guys out there. <3
Hakupo as a character is inspired by moe, thanks Clarice. Like most moe characters, he's a bit air headed and happy go lucky person. His positive attitude is sometimes brought into original songs he's featured in, which just makes me smile- girlbosses love a good pick me up song.
Also he has a stupid little coat and pants. This is all you need to know to vote for Hakupo, but I will continue forward incase you are still on the fence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cool Hakupo Facts
He almost has the same exact suggested range as Miku (C3 to E5)... His is actually larger... he goes higher (C3 to G5).
The "Do Re Mi FâåÁaæ↓" incident of Christmas 2020, contact me I will elaborate further.
There is a little bit of an evil twin thing going on. Yeah. This is a win.
Tumblr media
His genderbend design Kohaku is revealed when you turn down the brightness of his official reference sheet (he pulled a scott cawthon guys).
He hates to be called cute and have his head patted... which is cute.
Despite looks- His description says he has curly hair come on guys- LITTLE FLUFF.
By looking at his official Twitter bot, there's a few extra things we can learn about him. He is very stupid, very impatient, has a horrible sleep schedule, bad at multitasking, and can't stand still (I can elaborate more on these if asked).
I wrote a 43 page Utau cartoon pilot script with Hakupo as the main character. Shameless plug.
I also wrote my college admissions essay about Hakupo. Thanks for getting me into college Bobo!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sick Bobo Uses
Get boboed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What does Bobo mean to me?
I found Hakupo 7 years ago now, sitting in the middle of an Utau melody. I told myself I would just turn off my tablet and listen to the music. Yeah that worked- guess who was next after the screen turned off. BOBO! I needed to see the little creature creating this melody. I turned on the screen, and was not disappointed. Fancy twink in a oversized tailcoat with weird pants. I remember rambling to my mom later about how cool he was, why he was so unique, and why this one specifically caught my attention.
He's been my special interest since then, everyone around me knows Hakupo wheather they like it or not. He's about 80% of everything I draw, 50% of what I talk about, and 100% of my little creature I snuggle up with every night.
Literally.
I have a Hakupo bodypillow. Can't sleep without him.
Anyways, he's helped me find a lot of my best friends *coughcoughmeatcoughrevcough*, never fails to make me happy, and helped everyone around me realize I'm extremely autistic. The least I can do is write an ungodly long propaganda post while drinking my coffee at 9 am.
Stan Bobo Oobieero.

Minor ramble under cut about browsing thru old posts. I was gonna put them in tags of a shorter post but its too long lol
If you can't tell I really love going thru sprees of finding blogs from 2010s. I didn't use Tumblr very much until 2017ish and although I wasnt into Toontown its oddly nostalgic seeing similar posts. In a way it was all heartwarming, bittersweet, kind of sad, a bit cringe inducing (old memes) but mostly positive.
Internet archival and history is a pretty big interest of mine, and I know its a joke to say "Wonder what historians will say about this in 100 years" but in a way you kind of are like a historian on the internet looking at these old posts (If that makes sense..) And putting together trends and even silly discourse.
Its no secret the internet and fanbase culture has really shifted within this decade. I don't know what the reason would be exactly (Probably a mixture of userbase aging and the crushing presence of things like capitalism and other oppressive forces) but even then, hostility is present among new fans and younger fans. Who I do feel sorry for they didn't experience things like goofy reblog chains or DeviantArt journal entries. But even then now, it feels like there isn't much of a space for many of us online. Not without becoming incredibly decentralized, which some people can't just quit certain platforms. (Like needing it for their job)
Getting off topic a bit- I thought about that when I was looking at those old "New to Toonblr <:D" introduction posts, and deactivated blogs long gone welcoming them. I know that theres been quite alot of discourse/bickering lately in certain areas. I've seen alot of pessimism among people I follow or are mutuals with. I also have had experiences with being harassed or being block evaded. I don't know what would neccessarily "fix" that issue, as discourse and bad apples will be in every fanbase. But I think theres a bit of "for myself" think. Sometimes it feels like people view each other as enemies O~O and I notice alot of cliques..
Anyways, just things I thought about. I don't want this to be a "old web good" post. Thats viewing the past with rose tinted glasses. But I think we should maybe examine our relationships with media and our interests and how we talk among each other to create a more fun space for everyone. At the end of the day we all like the same defunct mmo :p

Tumblr media
NAME: Tiffany, Tiffers, Tiff, Cheese, Destiny
PRONOUNS: they/them or she/her
PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: it’s weird but I think it’s the adhd. If I’m active on tumblr it’s easier there. If I’m not here I’m probably talking on discord so there?
NAME OF MUSE(S): Atem, Malice, Andbis (tumblr) Lance, Dean, Loki, Trevor, Aziraphael, Todoroki (discord)
EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): fuck me I started hanging out on this hellsite in 2010. I am the lion turtle.
PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: For rp? Skype, Chatzy, Discord, AIM, Tumblr
BEST EXPERIENCE: Meeting my Pride. The three people in this world who always have my back. Also marrying someone who should have been my enemy and sticking it to the man lmfao
RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: Gate keeping, callout posts, and general drama. I’ve had enough for a lifetime. I want to make friends, find old ones I miss and have a good time.
FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: ANGST. I will do fluids and smut, but I’m always here for the character development angst brings along.
PLOTS OR MEMES: I’m generally good with both. I barely plot because I tell Atem to do something and he does the exact opposite like the rebellious ho that he is.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: Inhonrstly don’t know how to write less than a paragraph even on one liners. I’m so sorry. Atem is with overthinking or strategizing and it takes up space.
BEST TIME TO WRITE: mornings or days off. Most of the time I’m exhausted when I get home from work at eleven pm.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): Me and Atem do have some things in common. We have a lot of the same liked and dislikes because I have adhd and its easier for me to remember.

I have been on tumblr actively since 2010. Here is what I have noticed, which no one asked for.
How to be Well-Liked on Tumblr
I almost put famous but, well, Tumblr Fame is meaningless.
1) Be good at something
It doesn't matter what you are good at. You might be good at editing gif sets, good at writing fanfic, good at making art.
Maybe you are good at making people laugh, good at theorizing, good at memes.
Hell, you might just be good at reblogging! People just might see you as a person who has all the same tastes as them and follow.
Tumblr people are interested in seeing people CREATE. To make things. ANYTHING. Make art. Make music. Make jokes. Make theories. Make a cool BLOG. The blogs that MAKE are the ones with a following. As long as they don't violate rule 2.
2) Be Genuine
Tumblr peeps do not care if you are pretty or rich or famous. They do not care about your brand or aspirations of being an influencer. Not only do we on tumblr not care, we are downright HOSTILE to it.
We all have seen how advertisers ruin a website, and we don't want it.
We are not interested in a cult of personality. We don't want the carefully cultivated image of you. We aren't INTERESTED in you advertising yourself.
This is the exact opposite site for that. We want to be genuinely US. We want to be cringe. We want to be silly. We want to be LOUD. There is a REASON we all want to be anonymous, and its because there is so little space for us to be genuine without judgement.
If you're not being genuinely you, tumblr will be hostile. You will get blocked. And honestly, why wouldn't you want to be genuinely you?
You want to advertise your brand? There are so many sites for that! Go to instagram! Its made for that.
This is a place where YOU can be YOU. No judgements.
Hell, of the famous people Joining Tumblr, I would recommend you NOT tell anyone who you are!
I saw a video of Markiplier once saying that he had a moment of realization that he had gotten so famous that he he would never be able to make a genuinely close relationship with his fans.
This is your opportunity!
Be SOCIAL, not advertise.
Be YOU, not #you.
If you want to be well liked, and you want to have fun. Those are the two rules.
Create and Just. Be. You.

Week 3: Digital Community.
DOES TUMBLR HAVE ITS WAYS OF FUNCTIONING AS A DIGITAL COMMUNITY? LET ME ANSWER.
Tumblr? You must be new for it!
Tumblr media
This meme from Gene Wilder who portrayed Willy Wonka in the making of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) received a massive of users in the early 2010s, most widely accepted as the meme for early Tumblr users (2007) (Allison Maura Mccracken et al., 2020).
However, after 3 years of adoption, most users still took this meme as they were not quite familiar with the platforms. Even today, users with wide background knowledge of social media are still confused with Tumblr when trying it in the first place.
So, what is exactly Tumblr? Was it a blog or some random social media networking site?
David Karp founded Tumblr as a multimedia microblogging social media platform at the age of 21 (Allison Maura Mccracken et al., 2020).
It’s kinda funny, isn’t it? It’s the mix of both “Blog” and “social media” ! Making it ways more interesting approach at first.
What is a blog compared to social media?
Blog: A type of website that is usually maintained by a single person and contains regular postings of commentary, event descriptions, or other media such as images or videos (What Is Blog | IGI Global, n.d.).
Let’s clarify what is “Blog”!
youtube
Social media: New types of media that allow for interactive engagement where one person can communicate with many people with possibly fast feedback (Manning, 2014).
Clarifying and Simplifying the term “Social Media”!
youtube
A Tumblr post can get popular in a matter of hours and potentially spread to other social media platforms (Moreau, 2020).
What makes Tumblr so special?
1. Tumblr enables users to easily and quickly share and repurpose a variety of materials, such as image-based memes, GIF, videos, short or long-format text, etc. (Allison Maura Mccracken et al., 2020).
2. Tumblr, unlike other social networking sites at the time, provided users a lot of leeway in terms of changing the design of their blogs to promote users' creativity, aesthetic preference, and customization. (Allison Maura Mccracken et al., 2020).
3. Tumblr lacks personal profiles or "friends" networks, therefore many "Tumblrs" are formed anonymously and the owners are difficult to identify. One of the most crucial factors fueling social engagement on Tumblr was the anonymity function. The most frequent ideology is feminism. Many teenage girls said that Tumblr is their favourite place for conveying their stories, thoughts, and sentiments about sexism, gender discrimination, and so on since it makes them feel safer and more comfortable without the risk of offending. (Keller, 2019)
4. The Tumblr platform invites users to interact through images and serve as content curators by uploading both original and "reblogged" content. This technique creates an enormous atmosphere for any school of thought, regardless of who is the inventor.
5. Tumblr, like other social networking sites, employs Hashtag (#) to group like-minded individuals so that they may filter the information they want to read.

Tumblr Revival
Tl;dr
Tumblr has a large interconnected community of artists and content creators, and should focus on its strengths and what it does right. Instead of trying to compete for space against Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Tumblr should focus on empowering its community and giving that community the tools to develop the site's unparalleled uniqueness.
Tumblr is the crossroads of the internet, with a monthly user traffic of 300 million it is the perfect space for artists, content creators, and small businesses to grow their following without having to fight for a seat at the table against companies with huge budgets.
Hi, I go by Nacho here on tumblr, and I'm sure as many of us on tumblr have noticed, the (hell)site is kinda going downhill. Tumblr was bought by Automattic in fall of 2019, and I am sure they have the best intentions to help tumblr stay afloat. However, I think it's time the community took a more deliberate approach to how tumblr is handled, and hopefully Automattic and @staff will hear us out. I think I have a solid solution to tumblrs money issues, that will help both the site and empower its online communities.
First and foremost, I am not involved with Tumblr or Automattic. I am just a simple blog trying to help out a place that I've been on since 2010, and I would hate to see it die here around 2023.
So, let's get to the root of the problem on tumblr right now. That being money, tumblr is currently costing more money that it produces, as we've seen with its 97% drop in value from 1.1 billion dollar sale to being sold at around 3 million dollars.
So the first thing that must be improved before anything else can be improved on tumblr is how much money they're bringing in a month. I don't think folks on tumblr hate monetization as much as we all collectively say we do, I think the issue is that most advertisers are completely disconnected from the groups they are trying to advertise to on here. Tumblr comprises roughly 65% millennials and 30% gen-z, the two generations that advertisers seem to have the hardest time advertising to for a myriad of reasons. The main one being that they don't fully understand what we want, and sometimes just don't listen to what we are saying.
Lets look at how tumblr makes its money, Tumblr has four main revenue sources,
Ads by sponsored posts
Display ads through video posts
Sponsored Day ads or banner ads
“Premium Themes”
I'll go into depth on all of these and how tumblr could make potential changes to improve their revenue anywhere from three to six months after it implements some or ideally all of these changes.
First tumblr ads and sponsored posts, these changes are going to be contingent on tumblr allowing its users to share, like, and comment on ads much like all other media sites currently allow. Or at least giving advertisers the ability to turn that on or off as a function.
The average tumblr post gets reblogged 14 times, that number increases significantly if the ad is engaging and actually caters to the communities wants and needs. My reasoning for giving users the ability to reblog ads is to increase user engagement while maintaining their current ad vetting process and all of the nonsensical ads that are run on tumblr 90% of the time.
The other reason for allowing tumblr users to share and comment on ads, or have it be an option for advertisers to turn on or off as they'd like, is that the appeal of tumblr is the ability to propagate and obsess over the most niche things (i.e OSHA.)
All the while allowing content that gets shared all over the internet bubble up to the top through the collective hand of the tumblr community. Along with this tumblr has no way for small users to share their own products or services, every single major site has a way for users to advertise their pages or products through the site.
Tumblr is a content machine that creates imagery and memes that get shared all the time across the internet, so the ability to share and curate its own ads is paramount to improving advertising and user engagement on tumblr.
My proposal here is for tumblr to expand its advertising capabilities to all users, while charging a flat rate fee to advertise on tumblr, with additional charges for popular tags or trending tags. Tumblr currently has no self service advertising system much like Facebook does for example. Where facebook charges a daily rate on cost-per-click(CPC) or cost-per-thousand(CPM)
Charging a flat rate fee at a rate of a day, week, month, or quarterly basis with variances in prices based on the lease term and what the advertisers would want to have their ads show up on certain tags. This would open up the doors for small businesses that don't want to advertise on places like facebook, twitter, or google with their complicated CPM and CPC models. Also bringing in more small locally owned businesses with the added value of less competition for ad space on tumblr.
This would also take some of the weight from tumblrs own advertising staff from having to explain a convoluted system to potential advertisers. Creating a simplified model with the the advent of tumblrs own infrastructure able to get a single post to a large variety of users. Where the current ad model uses a “shotgun” method to hit as many people as possible, the tumblr model could encourage advertisers to curate a more personalized and intimate experience that tumblr users would love.
Why not just advertise elsewhere? Tumblr still in fact gets over 300 million views a month as of June 2021 (Statosta), and the added benefit for users to be able to like, share, and interact with ads would allow ads that the community enjoys to be talked about more. Giving advertisers more honest feedback about their ads while increasing their SEO’s.
Also small businesses that can't compete with the vetting processes that are used on other sites, would have a better chance of developing their business and increasing their clientele on tumblr whose core demographics are approximately 60% millennial and 35% gen-z. This core demographic does in fact care about being able to shop at local stores, or even a store across the US that is trying to drum up its own online sales.
These ads could be placed inline on the tumblr dash while moving other sponsored ads to the right of the site on desktop, but making them alternate on mobile between user ads and sponsored ads.
Second, the display ads should be changed to allow tumblr users to share and further interact with ads to generate more user engagement, incentivizing more businesses and companies to build their brand status on tumblr. Tumblr has a good model for creating short diaries or daily vlogs for companies that wish to show off their products on social media. This includes smaller businesses and vlogers that want to post videos or tutorials of themselves on their blog.
Tumblr is a good site for user engagement with a pool of creative potential for anyone wanting to gauge the desire for a particular subject or piece of media, maybe even an upcoming show. Having the ability to share and comment on sponsored ads would also help advertisers by allowing them to get more bang for their buck with a considerable uptick on how users engage with that content.
Third, tumblrs sponsor day ads and banner ads are inexpensive and should be highlighted as a selling point over their competitors. Tumblr 24-hour banner ads are considerably more affordable for businesses when compared to places like twitter with their 200k price point. For the same amount of money on tumblr a business could have their company at the top of the dashboard or app for 8 whole days. Much longer and much better than the competition.
Keeping this price fixed, with a change in the price CPC is still a much more lucrative and attractive selling point than any of the competition on the internet today. I know this might not be exactly what tumblr wants to hear when it is hemorrhaging money right now, but let's look at the cost for these 24 hour daily ads and banner ads. If tumblr hypes up the price point on these ads they could see a significant rise in advertisers considering the lack of competition on tumblr and past success stories of companies who did advertise on tumblr.
At the same time larger advertisers should be encouraged to make engaging ads and blogs on tumblr that will make people want to actually go to their blogs, that then link to an external site or page. Not ads that instantly try to force you to go to some other site, by rewarding or offering special discounts for people who find a special code or something off of the actual blog. Or even for giving the same code to everyone who reblogs a certain post made by the advertiser.
Seems too good to be true? Look at “Asos” back in 2015 when they held a shirt design competition on their tumblr blog. Where they had 900 submissions, four of which were picked, and were sold out of the user generated shirts in 10 hours.
This is not the only case however, but FX ran their own campaign for the show “Man Seeking Woman” where they saw a 2.8% increase in user engagement, 86% increase in their tumblr followers, and they actually saved money through advertising on tumblr.
All this leads me to believe that tumblr actually was and continues to be the best place for brands, small businesses, and artists to develop themselves through genuine user engagement.
Finally, the “premium themes” that are available on tumblr that allow for unparalleled customizations that you hardly find elsewhere on the internet anymore. Tumblrs ability to take a variety of media sources, as well as having an unparalleled level of customization, user interconnectivity, and a vibrant artistic scene shows that it is ripe with potential.
Tumblr could still use its post+ feature, but in the same way that Discord uses its subscription service. For cosmetic changes that can be added modularly to the site or individual blogs for an additional monthly fee. In conjunction with partnering with community artists to bring small cosmetic additions to individual blogs, while paying the content creator and tumblr taking a small portion of the profits over a certain amount.
To be completely honest this is probably the hardest portion of this entire pitch to make changes to in a shorter period of time, considering all the testing and “under the hood” changes that must be made. However, I think that implementing this as well as the other changes I have proposed will bring back more foot traffic to tumblr as well as increase its revenue and profitability.
In closing, I am simply working with whatever information I was able to find online and a good amount of time invested on my part to do this. I think tumblr has a ton of potential still to return as a force for good for the communities that exist and want a change from what the internet has become. Time and time again when any company or public entity dies it was because it did not change and refused to adapt and innovate, oftentimes not at the hands of the people working everyday to keep the site running. Instead at the hands of people who dont see the value in what has fallen in their laps.
If you agree and think this is something that can be done, please reblog this post and follow me for more updates. If I don't hear back or this does not gain any traction by the end of the year, then tumblr can go to its inevitable end. I will be here sinking with the ship.

Honestly, anyone with a twitter account should be forbidden to make a tumblr account. Right now on my tl I see ppl saying that tumblr is dead and mocking tumblr as if screenshots of tumblr aren’t popular on twitter lmao also, twitter is a time capsule of fandom and discourse tumblr back in the early 2010s. Let’s gatekeep them away from here. Tumblr is finally tolerable bc all of them left.
People on tumblr also say tumblr is dead. Tumblr is also a time capsule of fandom and discourse from the early 2010s, you've just cultivated your space to stop seeing people acting like that.
Tumblr is finally tolerable because you got better at following people and there's more tools on how to really perfect your experience (ie built in blacklist, a tagging system that makes the blacklists actually work as opposed to twitter where its more nebulous, the ability to see who is reblogging from who where on twitter you can just see OP and the person who retweeted it, etc).
Honestly... it's just kind of weird to act like which social media you go on decieds your personality traits... it's even weirder when you realize most tumblr users have a twitter, even if htey don't use it as much.
Like I don't post like a 60 year old using minion memes even tho my facebook account technically stil exists. But "60 year old minion meme poster and also the msot bigoted relative you have" is the "average" facebook user if you had to conjure someone up.
Like... it's not that deep. Maybe tumblr needs a bit more users so I'll stop seeing the same 5 popular users every 5 seconds considering they all have me blocked. Give me a chance to go unblocked by people.
Or let me earn new blocks, which is alos fun to me.

Re: the post you reblogged about Bush. I'm 21 and tbh feel like I can only vote for Bernie, can you explain if/why I shouldn't? Thanks and sorry if this is dumb or anything.
Oh boy. Okay, I’ll do my best here. Note that a) this will get long, and b) I’m old, Tired, and I‘m pretty sure my brain tried to kill me last night. Since by nature I am sure I will say something Controversial ™, if anyone reads this and feels a deep urge to inform me that I am Wrong, just… mark it down as me being Wrong and move on with your life. But also, really, you should read this and hopefully think about it. Because while I’m glad you asked this question, it feels like there’s a lot in your cohort who won’t, and that worries me. A lot.
First, not to sound utterly old-woman-in-a-rocking-chair ancient, people who came of age/are only old enough to have Obama be the first president that they really remember have no idea how good they had it. The world was falling the fuck apart in 2008 (not coincidentally, after 8 years of Bush). We came within a flicker of the permanent collapse of the global economy. The War on Terror was in full roar, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were at their height, we had Dick Cheney as the cartoon supervillain before we had any of Trump’s cohort, and this was before Chelsea Manning or Edward Snowden had exposed the extent of NSA/CIA intelligence-gathering/American excesses or there was any kind of public debate around the fact that we were all surveilled all the time. And the fact that a brown guy named Barack Hussein Obama was elected in this climate seems, and still seems tbh, kind of amazing. And Obama was certainly not a Perfect President ™. He had to scale back a lot of planned initiatives, he is notorious for expanding the drone strike/extrajudicial assassination program, he still subscribed to the overall principles of neoliberalism and American exceptionalism, etc etc. There is valid criticism to be made as to how the hopey-changey optimistic rhetoric stacked up against the hard realities of political office. And yet…. at this point, given what we’re seeing from the White House on a daily basis, the depth of the parallel universe/double standards is absurd.
Because here’s the thing. Obama, his entire family, and his entire administration had to be personally/ethically flawless the whole time (and they managed that – not one scandal or arrest in eight years, against the legions of Trumpistas now being convicted) because of the absolute frothing depths of Republican hatred, racial conspiracy theories, and obstruction against him. (Remember Merrick Garland and how Mitch McConnell got away with that, and now we have Gorsuch and Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court? Because I remember that). If Obama had pulled one-tenth of the shit, one-twentieth of the shit that the Trump administration does every day, he would be gone. It also meant that people who only remember Obama think he was typical for an American president, and he wasn’t. Since about… Jimmy Carter, and definitely since Ronald Reagan, the American people have gone for the Trump model a lot more than the Obama model. Whatever your opinion on his politics or character, Obama was a constitutional law professor, a community activist, a neighborhood organizer and brilliant Ivy League intellectual who used to randomly lie awake at night thinking about income inequality. Americans don’t value intellectualism in their politicians; they just don’t. They don’t like thinking that “the elites” are smarter than them. They like the folksy populist who seems fun to have a beer with, and Reagan/Bush Senior/Clinton/Bush Junior sold this persona as hard as they possibly could. As noted in said post, Bush Junior (or Shrub as the late, great Molly Ivins memorably dubbed him) was Trump Lite but from a long-established political family who could operate like an outwardly civilized human.
The point is: when you think Obama was relatively normal (which, again, he wasn’t, for any number of reasons) and not the outlier in a much larger pattern of catastrophic damage that has been accelerated since, again, the 1980s (oh Ronnie Raygun, how you lastingly fucked us!), you miss the overall context in which this, and which Trump, happened. Like most left-wingers, I don’t agree with Obama’s recent and baffling decision to insert himself into the 2020 race and warn the Democratic candidates against being too progressive or whatever he was on about. I think he was giving into the same fear that appears to be motivating the remaining chunk of Joe Biden’s support: that middle/working-class white America won’t go for anything too wild or that might sniff of Socialism, and that Uncle Joe, recalled fondly as said folksy populist and the internet’s favorite meme grandfather from his time as VP, could pick up the votes that went to Trump last time. And that by nature, no one else can.
The underlying belief is that these white voters just can’t support anything too “un-American,” and that by pushing too hard left, Democratic candidates risk handing Trump a second term. Again: I don’t agree and I think he was mistaken in saying it. But I also can’t say that Obama of all people doesn’t know exactly the strength of the political machine operating against the Democratic Party and the progressive agenda as a whole, because he ran headfirst into it for eight years. The fact that he managed to pass any of his legislative agenda, usually before the Tea Party became a thing in 2010, is because Democrats controlled the House and Senate for the first two years of his first term. He was not perfect, but it was clear that he really did care (just look up the pictures of him with kids). He installed smart, efficient, and scandal-free people to do jobs they were qualified for. He gave us Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor to join RBG on the Supreme Court. All of this seems… like a dream.
That said: here we are in a place where Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren are the front-runners for the Democratic nomination (and apparently Pete Buttigieg is getting some airplay as a dark horse candidate, which… whatever). The appeal of Biden is discussed above, and he sure as hell is not my favored candidate (frankly, I wish he’d just quit). But Sanders and Warren are 85% - 95% similar in their policy platforms. The fact that Michael “50 Billion Dollar Fortune” Bloomberg started rattling his chains about running for president is because either a Sanders or Warren presidency terrifies the outrageously exploitative billionaire capitalist oligarchy that runs this country and has been allowed to proceed essentially however the fuck they like since… you guessed it, the 1980s, the era of voodoo economics, deregulation, and the free market above all. Warren just happens to be ten years younger than Sanders and female, and Sanders’ age is not insignificant. He’s 80 years old and just had a heart attack, and there’s still a year to go to the election. It’s also more than a little eye-rolling to describe him as the only progressive candidate in the race, when he’s an old white man (however much we like and approve of his policy positions). And here’s the thing, which I think is a big part of the reason why this polarized ideological purity internet leftist culture mistrusts Warren:
She may have changed her mind on things in the past.
Scary, right? I sound like I’m being facetious, but I’m not. An argument I had to read with my own two eyes on this godforsaken hellsite was that since Warren became a Democrat around the time Clinton signed Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, she sekritly hated gay people and might still be a corporate sellout, so on and etcetera. (And don’t even get me STARTED on the fact that DADT, coming a few years after the height of the AIDS crisis which was considered God’s Judgment of the Icky Gays, was the best Clinton could realistically hope to achieve, but this smacks of White Gay Syndrome anyway and that is a whole other kettle of fish.) Bernie has always demonstrably been a democratic socialist, and: good for him. I’m serious. But because there’s the chance that Warren might not have thought exactly as she does now at any point in her life, the hysterical and paranoid left-wing elements don’t trust that she might not still secretly do so. (Zomgz!) It’s the same element that’s feeding cancel culture and “wokeness.” Nobody can be allowed to have shifted or grown in their opinions or, like a functional, thoughtful, non-insane adult, changed their beliefs when presented with compelling evidence to the contrary. To the ideological hordes, any hint of uncertainty or past failure to completely toe the line is tantamount to heresy. Any evidence of any other belief except The Correct One means that this person is functionally as bad as Trump. And frankly, it’s only the Sanders supporters who, just as in 2016, are threatening to withhold their vote in the general election if their preferred candidate doesn’t win the primary, and indeed seem weirdly proud about it.
OK, boomer Bernie or Buster.
Here’s the thing, the thing, the thing: there is never going to be an American president free of the deeply toxic elements of American ideology. There just won’t be. This country has been built how it has for 250 years, and it’s not gonna change. You are never going to have, at least not in the current system, some dream candidate who gets up there and parrots the left-wing talking points and attacks American imperialism, exceptionalism, ravaging global capitalism, military and oil addiction, etc. They want to be elected as leader of a country that has deeply internalized and taken these things to heart for its entire existence, and most of them believe it to some degree themselves. So this groupthink white liberal mentality where the only acceptable candidate is this Perfect Non-Problematic robot who has only ever had one belief their entire lives and has never ever wavered in their devotion to doctrine has really gotten bad. The Democratic Party would be considered… maybe center/mild left in most other developed countries. It’s not even really left-wing by general standards, and Sanders and Warren are the only two candidates for the nomination who are even willing to go there and explicitly put out policy proposals that challenge the systematic structure of power, oppression, and exploitation of the late-stage capitalist 21st century. Warren has the billionaires fussed, and instead of backing down, she’s doubling down. That’s part of why they’re so scared of her. (And also misogyny, because the world is depressing like that.) She is going head-on after picking a fight with some of the worst people on the planet, who are actively killing the rest of us, and I don’t know about you, but I like that.
Of course: none of this will mean squat if she (or the eventual Democratic winner, who I will vote for regardless of who it is, but as you can probably tell, she’s my ride or die) don’t a) win the White House and then do as they promised on the campaign trail, and b) don’t have a Democratic House and Senate willing to have a backbone and pass the laws. Even Nancy Pelosi, much as she’s otherwise a badass, held off on opening a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump for months out of fear it would benefit him, until the Ukraine thing fell into everyone’s laps. The Democrats are really horrible at sticking together and voting the party line the way Republicans do consistently, because Democrats are big-tent people who like to think of themselves as accepting and tolerant of other views and unwilling to force their members’ hands. The Republicans have no such qualms (and indeed, judging by their enabling of Trump, have no qualms at all).
The modern American Republican party has become a vehicle for no-holds-barred power for rich white men at the expense of absolutely everything and everyone else, and if your rationale is that you can’t vote for the person opposing Donald Goddamn Trump is that you’re just not vibing with them on the language of that one policy proposal… well, I’m glad that you, White Middle Class Liberal, feel relatively safe that the consequences of that decision won’t affect you personally. Even if we’re due to be out of the Paris Climate Accords one day after the 2020 election, and the issue of climate change now has the most visibility it’s ever had after years of big-business, Republican-led efforts to deny and discredit the science, hey, Secret Corporate Shill, am I right? Can’t trust ‘er. Let’s go have a craft beer.
As has been said before: vote as far left as you want in the primary. Vote your ideology, vote whatever candidate you want, because the only way to make actual, real-world change is to do that. The huge, embedded, all-consuming and horrible system in which we operate is not just going to suddenly be run by fairy dust and happy thoughts overnight. Select candidates that reflect your values exactly, be as picky and ideologically militant as you want. That’s the time to do that! Then when it comes to the general election:
America is a two-party system. It sucks, but that’s the case. Third-party votes, or refraining from voting because “it doesn’t matter” are functionally useless at best and actively harmful at worst.
Either the Democratic candidate or Donald Trump will win the 2020 election.
There is absolutely no length that the Republican/GOP machine, and its malevolent allies elsewhere, will not go to in order to secure a Trump victory. None.
Any talk whatsoever about “progressive values” or any kind of liberal activism, coupled with a course of action that increases the possibility of a Trump victory, is hypocritical at best and actively malicious at worst.
This is why I found the Democratic response to Obama’s “don’t go too wild” comments interesting. Bernie doubled down on the fact that his plans have widespread public support, and he’s right. (Frankly, the fact that Sanders and Warren are polling at the top, and the fact that they’re politicians and would not be crafting these campaign messages if they didn’t know that they were being positively received, says plenty on its own). Warren cleverly highlighted and praised Obama’s accomplishments in office (i.e. the Affordable Care Act) and didn’t say squat about whether she agreed or disagreed with him, then went right back to campaigning about why billionaires suck. And some guy named Julian Castro basically blew Obama off and claimed that “any Democrat” could beat Trump in 2020, just by nature of existing and being non-insane.
This is very dangerous! Do not be Julian Castro!
As I said in my tags on the Bush post: everyone assumed that sensible people would vote for Kerry in 2004. Guess what happened? Yeah, he got Swift Boated. The race between Obama and McCain in 2008, even after those said nightmare years of Bush, was very close until the global crash broke it open in Obama’s favor, and Sarah Palin was an actual disqualifier for a politician being brazenly incompetent and unprepared. (Then again, she was a woman from a remote backwater state, not a billionaire businessman.) In 2012, we thought Corporate MormonBot Mitt Fuggin’ Romney was somehow the worst and most dangerous candidate the Republicans could offer. In 2016, up until Election Day itself, everyone assumed that HRC was a badly flawed candidate but would win anyway. And… we saw how that worked out. Complacency is literally deadly.
I was born when Reagan was still president. I’m just old enough to remember the efforts to impeach Clinton over forcing an intern to give him a BJ in the Oval Office (This led by the same Republicans making Donald Trump into a darling of the evangelical Christian right wing.) I’m definitely old enough to remember 9/11 and how America lost its mind after that, and I remember the Bush years. And, obviously, the contrast with Obama, the swing back toward Trump, and everything that has happened since. We can’t afford to do this again. We’re hanging by a thread as it is, and not just America, but the entire planet.
So yes. By all means, vote for Sanders in the primary. Then when November 3, 2020 rolls around, if you care about literally any of this at all, hold your nose if necessary and vote straight-ticket Democrat, from the president, to the House and Senate, to the state and local offices. I cannot put it more strongly than that.

So a minute ago I was looking for some 4chan archive of mspaint comic threads to prove that the "are ya winning son" meme started there, and the VR sex version is not in fact the original. What I found is one of the most significant internet history events that no one's ever heard of. A tale of a modern library of alexandria.
I used to browse 4chan pretty regularly between maybe 2006-2010. After that the alt right was in its infancy and it started to get real bad. but before that, there was a lot of goodhearted fun. One of the fun threads were MS paint comics. This is where trollface and shit like that started, stuff that eventually got stolen by reddit and made into copy-paste rageface shit. "are ya winning son" was one of those. The 4chan mspaint threads were all full of original content or reposts of old popular ones.
Basically the way 4chan works, threads get deleted after they hit the "bump limit". Bump means every time someone posts the thread goes to the top of the board. After a thread hits the bump limit it sticks around at the very end of the board until it gets pushed out by a new post. On very active boards, threads would rarely last a day. Bad threads would be gone within a few hours.
Eventually, people wanted to be able to save some of the good threads for posterity. Christopher poole a.k.a. moot, the creator, had a philosophy about it because he wanted to cultivate a certain type of culture. Things needed to come and go. The idea was that important stuff would get reposted naturally if people liked it and unimportant stuff would be forgotten. It wasn't supposed to be a journal, it was a town square. There is no clout chasing on 4chan. People post stuff for the moment because they want to be part of a conversation. Since nobody remembers you there's much less pressure over not being "cringe". That's why so much content came out of 4chan, because there is no barrier for entry, everyone is on equal footing, and everything everyone posts gets looked at. No good post slips through the cracks in the moment.
But this meant that there were threads where people were posting important original content that was getting lost to the ages. People saved stuff they liked, but if you remembered something you saw a week ago but didn't save it there was no way to get it back unless someone else decided to repost it. So moot decided to create an archive system where if five users voted to, a thread would be archived to a site called 4chanarchive. This ran from 2006 to 2013, and by then it held around 500GB of threads. 4chan always had trouble keeping afloat (for all the same reasons as tumblr honestly) so in 2012 the archive was transferred to a guy who was involved with encyclopedia dramatica. But then he went MIA, and now that entire archive has been lost. There were a couple other archives during that period, but they were all poorly managed and not much survived.
It's crazy to think about the amount of stuff that is gone. The internet was a real wild west until around 2010, and that period still has so much influence on us a decade later. Dumb shit like rickrolling, longcat, tons and tons of copypasta like the "what did you say to me you little shit" thing, SCP came from creepypasta threads on /x/.
Here's a link to the story if you wanna read it for yourself.
4chan is just one example. I think it's really fascinating how people used to say "if you post something on the internet it's there forever" but maaaaan look how things turned out. People trying to archive shit on the internet are struggling all the time. Tumblr is especially bad, I have a hard time finding stuff that I reblogged two months ago. It's really great that heritage posts and certified iconic posts started up because it would be so hard to find that shit otherwise. Maybe it doesn't really matter that much. Maybe moot is right and it's better for things to just come and go and be forgotten.

———  BASICS! ♡
(PEN)NAME! ♡     claire
PRONOUNS! ♡     they / them
ZODIAC SIGN! ♡     aries bay bee
TAKEN OR SINGLE! ♡     I Don’t Need Friends They Disappoint Me
———  THREE  FACTS! ♡
1! ♡      i used to roleplay on youtube. yes, youtube. think late early aughts and early 2010s. you’d set up your channel with all those fancy fonts (yes, the fancy fonts that now made a come back here); use picnic to edit your pics, set an autoplay video up for ur channel, and rp using dms or comments. it became popular to keep comments on approval and only approve things like: CLAIRE ISH MAHH BIIIISH. xDDD <3 NO ONEZ CAN TOUCH MAH BISSSSH <3 <3 xDDDD LUV U 4EVER. after the channels became what they are now, i hopped around on proboards before coming to tumblr.
2! ♡     i speak three languages. english, conversational french, and rudimentary german which i am relearning. i used to speak it fluently as a child. i hope to one day be able to communicate with my tante elisabeth and my cousin utta, as they only speak german (they... are... from germany LMAO) but until then i’ve been relearning with my aunt karin. it’s so weird because i feel like i’m very different when i speak french or when i speak german. like. english me is very different from french me and french me is very different from german me. i don’t know how else to describe it. i’m way more flirty and suave when i’m speaking french but i’m very serious and to the point in german. i find when i speak english i’m a little more aloof. i don’t fucking know.
3! ♡     the longest i have ever written a character is six years. most of my mutuals probably know me from that account (lady a. c/omstock of bioshock in/finite). i still write her on discord, so technically i’ve been writing her for 7 years. she’s just very draining to write these days as she’s just so goddamn fucking sad all the time and i prefer writing her on a smaller scale with very close friends privately. i still love her and her development and everything i’ve done with her, she’s just Ultra Ultra Depressed and i find myself having to get into that same headspace when i write her on tumblr, hence... why i do not like doing that any more. trauma muses, baby: it be like that.  it’s actually really funny bc i consider lady amelia c my BRAND. depressed edwardian milf. that’s the brand. media was an EXTREME departure of my brand of muses. i’ve written belle, sansa, lady c - all three of those ladies really follow the ‘porcelain to steel’ trend. media is neon chaos.
———  EXPERIENCE! ♡
PLATFORMS USED! ♡   uh. youtube, as i mentioned. rolepages (don’t ask), and a lot of proboards forums. i miss those. they were so Spicy. now just tumblr. i’ve Been Around lmao.
———  MUSE  PREFERENCE! ♡
GENDER! ♡    i simply Do Not Care. i used to feel really insecure about the way i wrote men but i’ve since gotten over that and now i’ll write anyone who strikes my fancy - but i do defo have a type and it’s Sad Ladies From Period/Fantasy Dramas.
LEAST FAVOURITE FACE(S)! ♡    honestly everyone overused irks me. remember when everyone was using nina dobr/ev or natalie do/rmer. can’t do it. i don’t know what it is. something irks me.
MULTI OR SINGLE! ♡    i wish i had the strength to write a multi muse blog but i can’t. :(
———  FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT! ♡
FLUFF:  i want to say i don’t like it but i love happy endings and domestic bliss bc that’s comforting and i like happy endings. but depending on the character i’m very selective with who i will write it with. media? I Simply Do Not See It (unless im writing with nee). it’s something i enjoy, but not something i write often on this blog; as i’m more horror oriented at this point.
ANGST:  i enjoy angst; but again, it really depends on the character. i had this really great thread with g where christine and amelia had an argument that resulted in amelia breaking down into tears as she was so angry. i really enjoyed the raw emotion i could write in that; and with a character like amelia, it was a great way to release a lot of pent up energy and add some character dev. for someone like media, tho, media doesn’t show emotion. media refuses to show emotion. it’s not Their Thing. they can show emotion and do emote, but it’s muted and rare. if, again, i were to write angst, it’d be with nee; since law is someone who reminds media how human they truly are.
SMUT:  depends. i’ve written it privately. it’s not really my thing but i don’t mind it. i prefer to write it privately with people i know very, very well. i’m not adverse to reblogging a smut meme or sending one in tho lmao.
PLOT / MEMES! ♡  i love plotting. i’m not good at i but i enjoy it a lot and will do my best to help think of dynamics, settings, and plot threads to do. as for memes? i want to love memes. i think they’re a great ice breaker - i used to be able to reblog a meme and write a really nice drabble response (i always write drabble responses lmao) but now it’s like... I Simply Cannot. i look at memes and my muse jumps ship like its 1912. i think it’s because i have an easier time responding to memes with people/muses my muse has an established/talked about dynamic with; instead of me trying to write a 4 para drabble for a muse that my muse has yet to interact with. idk.

got tagged by @lesbiankiliel thanks erina ❤
1. why did you choose your url?
- i wanted to change from my old one, euseevius, bc back then it was also my instagram handle & ao3 nick, and i was just..... growing uncomfortably aware of how easily one could just google my ig and accidentally stumble upon everything else. this was at that time when all tumblr lesbians were changing their urls were like Xlesbian or lesbianX. i was jealous that knifelesbian was already taken when i had a galaxy brain realisation and discovered that puukkolesbo was still free
2. any side-blogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them.
i have euseevius saved so that no one misuses it aaaaaaaaaaaand then i have @lesbianghostposting which i made back when i was coming to terms with my own lesbianism. it still regurlarly gets new followers even tho its been such a long time since i last updated it..... i’ll get back to it again i promise! i always do
3. how long have you been on tumblr?
uhhhhhhhh, since....2010 i think?
4. do you have a queue tag?

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?
tuutikki is the og puukkolesbo

12. have you ever made a shitpost?

14. did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? who won?
iiiiiiiiiii dont think so?? i got my shipping war days done out on the good ol’ forums
15. how do you feel about “you need to reblog this” posts?
this is a guilt trip free zone, mot reblogging any of those. im here to relax. that’s why i pretty rarely reblog anything political either - i do my social media activism elsewhere. tumblr is just for shits and giggles and haha blue void goes brrrr when i yell about fictional characters
16. do you like tag games?
yes!!
17. do you like ask games?
also yes!! i love getting any asks, even if sometimes i think about a good answer for way too long & then am too embarrassed to answer super late

It's 6am in New Zealand (I slept through New Years lmao), so Happy New Years everyone.
I'm not the first person or last person to say 2019 sucked, but boy, did it suck. I have reflections I want to share.
If you only met/followed me recently, I spent last year dealing with the New Zealand medical system and stuck in waitlists for surgery as my gallbladder (I started getting attacks back 2018 😠) is quite fucked. I've also got Myalgic Encephalomyelitis - otherwise known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so to say I've been pretty unwell is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
2009 was also the year I caught Glandular fever which became post viral fatigue syndrome and then Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, so this is also painfully the Ten Year Anniversary of my illness. My life really has been nothing like I planned or wanted, and in the last 5 or so years, I've put in a lot of work into my health, both mental and physical.
With this all in mind, I just want to thank everyone for the ongoing love and support I have received from so many people who are so dear to me. From just reblogging my content and memes to being a Tumblr friend to being in mutual discords and actively screeching about stuff to each other, I just feel so blessed to have such a lovely community around me. Don't even get me started on my Twitter friends lol (I love the salt).
Fandom/fandom spaces really helped me have a space to enjoy myself (with the occasional salt - hey its good for people with dysautonomic dysfunction 😉) and forget about how shitty my health has been.
And I'm just so grateful for everyone in my life, even if it's the tiniest little thing or interaction.
When you live with chronic illness/disability to the extent of being mostly housebound like myself, online friendships and communities are so important. So I treasure you all so dearly.
I can be flaky or inconsistent, but people have understood me and what I live with, and I'm so grateful for everyone for their support in understanding my illness.
I also really value the gif making community as learning to gif has been a real source of creativity for me that doesn't involve my body in a way that will cause post exertional malaise and while I've been giffing for a while, I'm still learning from others and I love it. There's still things I can improve but that's the creative arts in a nutshell, there's always some new trick to learn.
So with 2019 done, and the shit show the 2010s has been, I can't say I'm looking forward to the 2020s, but with new medical advancements coming for the treatment and diagnosis of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, maybe by the end of the next decade I will be at my best ever (I hope). And it feels Iike such an UNDERSTATEMENT when I say, y'all have kept me mostly sane when I've been absolutely incapable of being a person. I've had times where I've been an absolute asshole to the people around me (mostly because of untreated bpd), so the 2010s really had me going in as a different person to the person I've become today.
I hope that this year and decade will be better for us all than the last one has been.
- your local trash cat,
❤️ Poss
