Hellouuuu, I’m new anon, nice to meet you just.. a question; I was listening to the radio drama for the first time and mewtwo tells to Gio “damn it, take off my armor “ or something like that, Gio doesn’t and it’s when Gio reveals that mewtwo is a tool that he gets angry at humans but..if Giovanni had taken mewtwo’s armor off like he says, what would mewtwo have done? Considering he thinks team rocket follows him would he lead team rocket? Instead of having revenge? Or would he search for mew?

Hi Anon! These are some really great questions! Here’s the scene from The Birth of Mewtwo radio drama:

Mewtwo: (thinking) What am I doing? Why am I living? Why am I fighting?

[Mewtwo attempts to break out of his armor]

Mewtwo: Damn, take this armor off!

Giovanni: I can’t do that, Mewtwo. It’s too dangerous for humans if I let you go free.

--Chapter 5, The Birth of Mewtwo radio drama (1998)

Had Giovanni taken his armor off when he demanded it, I imagine Mewtwo would’ve escaped immediately. Would he have still blown up the entirety of Team Rocket HQ? Maybe, maybe not. He’s very angry but hasn’t quite tipped over the edge.

It’s the following dialogue that I think is the actual catalyst for Mewtwo completely turning against Gio:

Mewtwo: Are you telling me to fight for all of you? To fight for humans?

Giovanni: You’re a Pokemon. Pokemon are beings who exist to be used by humans. [...] If you don’t fight for humans, what other value do you have?

So had Gio taken off the armor when asked and never revealed his true intentions (that Mewtwo is a weapon that serves him), Mewtwo may have still left but perhaps with less hatred towards Giovanni and humanity. After all, Gio did what he asked. Maybe Mewtwo would even come back. Or perhaps he wouldn’t have ditched Team Rocket at all, and simply stormed off to cool down for a bit. I do think Gio could’ve succeeded in his plans with Mewtwo had he done more of what Mewtwo wanted.

This could make for a really interesting au, Anon! Perhaps Gio does what Mewtwo asks, Mewtwo gets mad but doesn’t leave and eventually takes over the organization, pushing Gio out. I’d love to read that story.

it's the ship between Miyamoto (jessie's mom) and Madame Boss (giovanni's mom)! they're characters exclusive to a radio drama that acts as a prologue to the first pokemon movie. Madame Boss is the founder of Team Rocket and Miyamoto was one of her best agents. They appear to be VERY close and friendly with one another (in comparison to giovanni and his agents).

Life has been more chaotic than I expected so that is why I've been MIA but Super Live and Chronicle DVD have summoned me to do more translations! This time it's the cast introduction and a small Q&A! First is the Inners + Chibi Moon! Outers and the rest of the cast will be translated at a later date lol

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?

When I heard that I was cast as Sailor Moon, it felt really unbelievable. But then due to corona, I had to wait a year before that news could be shared so it didn't feel very real at all. But finally when i went to costume fitting, I really got the feeling that I have become Sailor Moon.

Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?

Manipulating thunder like Sailor Jupiter, making them feel so much regret that it'll leave them numb lol. Supreme Thunder!!! And I also yearn to fight with huge items like Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn!

Q: A few words about the character you play.

She is clumsy but also strong, energetic, honest and a very hardworking girl. I will always admire her. I'm really happy to play character who is loved by many people! I will do my best for Sera Myu Fes(Chronicle) as well!!

Born 27th of February, Tokyo

Has appeared in commericials since she was 6 years old, such as Pokemon and others. She was won an ACC from her radio commercial Morinaga in-Jelly. She has also appeared in movies and played the role of a heroine's childhood self. She has been more active as an actress since high school and has appeared in many performances, such as ...from the moonlight ~A Delivery from the Moon~ and others.

Sailor Mercury/Ami Mizuno

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?

It was my stage debut so I was very honored. After the final audition, I went home together with Sailor Jupiter, Kisara Matsumura, who I have been good friends with for a while now and she said that "it would be nice if we could perform together."

Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?

I love pickled plums, so I would be Sailor Vinegar, protected by acid. With my powers of sour stimulus, I would weaken my enemies taste buds.

Q: A few words about the character you play.

Congratulations on the 30th anniversary! Please keep on loving Ami Mizuno and as for Sailor Mercury who I admire so much, i hope you shine forever. I love you!

Born 23th of February, Osaka

in 2018 she was accepted into the Yasushi Akimoto x TV Tokyo Project, Seishun High School 3-C so she moved to Tokyo after she graduated high school. She wast part of the 1st generation and appeared in the program for three years. She had her CD debut from EMI Records in Universal Music. She has also appeared in several TV dramas such as, Ore no skirt, doko itta?(Where did my skirt go?) and Anata wa hannin ja arimasen. (You are not the culprit.)

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?

From the very beginning i have loved Sailor Mars and my manager knew that I wanted to play her so when the call came that I got the role, we both screamed with excitement. And when I told my mom and grandma about it, both of them started crying tears of joy which made me very happy. Seeing this made me want to work even harder!

Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?

At first, I'll try to talk to them and get along with them. Maybe I will find the good points in them, there is a high chance that they will change their mind! But if they keep on doing evil deeds, I will give it right back at them, Evil Spirit, Begone!!

Q: A few words about the character you play.

When I was 4 years old I fell with the canny and cool Rei. And when I found out that we had the same name, I felt it was fate. I love the Rei-chan who has a lot of charms, such as the way she hides her passion, the way she says things clearly and honestly, and the fact that she is kind and cares about her friends! Through the Sailor Moon musicals, and by playing Rei, I have met really wonderful and important friends. I'm really grateful. I will cherish each and every performance with love!

in 2010, she made her model deubt by becomeing and exclusive model for the fashion magazine "Pichi Lemon". After that she joined the idol group, Yumemiru Adolescence. After graduating from the group in 2019, she started to be more active in stage performances and TV shows as an actress and model. Her main performances have include, Kishiryuu Sentai Ryusoulger on TV Asahi, Suiensaa on NHK, Peach Boyz (Ariake Garden) in XFLAG PARK 2020 and others.

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?

When I heard from my agency that I was cast as Sailor Jupiter, I remember being so surprised and full of joy that i couldn't stop trembling. And when we, the 5 Inner Soldiers, finally met face to face, all of them were those who had left a strong impression on me from the auditions. At the beginning, it was. a bit difficult to communicate due to the tension and corona but now everyone has become irreplaceable friends to me!

Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?

If I fight, I will fight like in my favorite RPG games and defeat evil! In the game, I can become as strong in mind and body as the Sailor Soldiers. I want to collect the strongest characters from all over the world and defeat evil and protect the world! Or course if possible, i would rather discuss and solve the problem without fighting.

Q: A few words about the character you play.

At first I was very nervous and worried if I could properly play such a cool character as Sailor Jupiter. But soon after, I started to admire her, who is by far the most powerful, the most sweetest and kindest of all. I learned to believe in my friends, to protect and love them. I will also continue on loving Sailor Jupiter so that I can get step by step closer to her.

Born 21th of July, Shizuoka.

Made her debut in 2019 in the NTV drama, Ore no skirt, doko itta?(Where did my skirt go?). She was also a regular in the CX TV show, Mezameshi TV Imadoki Girl. From June of 2021 to February of 2022, she appeared in three parts of AmebaTV's show, Kyou, Suki ni narimashita.(Today I fell in love). In 2022 she appeared in Kao's Essential THE BEAUTY advertisement and AbemaTV drama series　Fukumen D. She is active in a wide range of fields, including stage plays, modeling and movies.

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?

When I found out I was chosen, I was so happy and immediately told my family about it!! At the final audition, I remember Rei Kobayashi-chan talking to me when I was nervous. So I was really happy that I was able to become a Sailor Soldier with Rei-chan and everyone else! When I'm with the rest of the 5 Sailor Soldiers, I'm just so happy <3 Unlike Minako-chan, I'm far form being a leader, but since she is, I'll do my best to make everyone to able to rely on me!

Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?

Special Attack!!; Even though we meet for the first time, it feels like we have met before!! And then we become friends ♪ I call this special attack "Becooome my friend"!

Q: A few words about the character you play.

Please lend me your power so I can play the cute Minako-chan that everyone loves <3

Received the Glico Award at the Pretty Girl Museum2 audition held in 2011. Moved to Tokyo when she entered junior high school. After taking lessons in dancing, singing and acting, she made her debut in 2016 in Eki Stage A (Ace). She actively performs LIVE activites and from 2021 she started to properly work as an actress.

Sailor Chibimoon/Chibiusa

Q: What do you remember of being selected to be part of the Sailor Moon musicals?

When I went to the audition for the first time, it was the winter of my last year in kindergarten, so only 6 years old. That audition was for Chibi Chibi and when I was asked what my special skill is, I remember saying it was doing tricks with a ball and I started doing it lol. I was so happy when I passed was chosen to play Chibi Chibi! And now that i'm 12 years old, I'm really excited to play Chibiusa!

Q: If you ever have to fight villains like Sailor Moon and her friends, what would be your fighting style?

When I'm around town, I take notice of the license plates of the cars and phone numbers written on signboards of different shops and create them into mathematic formulas and solve them! I find it very enjoyable. Even in math class, I feel very accomplished when I understand a difficult problem. I once heard that "mathematics is connected to the mysteries of the universe". Because of that, if I were to fight evil, I would like to fight them with mathematics! I would challenge them by giving them complex figures and formula problems!

Q: A few words about the character you play.

My beloved Chibiusa, who I admire since she is adorable, strong and brave. Like Chibiusa, I will never give up no matter how small I am! With these strong feelings, I want to do my very best in singing, dancing, and acting to play Chibiusa on stage to the fullest!

She made her debut when she 4 years old in the musical Miss Saigon. She played Chibi Chibi in the Sailor Moon musical, Le Mouvement Final. She is part of the music unit Foorin. She is active in my other ways such as, the movie 3-gatsu no Lion (March Comes In Like a Lion), and NHK show Come Come Everybody.

Meet the Seiyuu: Floyd Leech

Okamoto Nobuhiko enrolled in Pro Fit Voice Actor Training Institute (the same academy as Sebek’s Ishiya Haruki) while working part-time jobs at McDonald’s, 7-11, the post office and as a security guard in order to pay his tuition.

Today is his birthday!

Okamoto won a voice-acting award for Best Newcomer in 2009, the same year he graduated from university. He would go on to win a best supporting actor award in 2011.

He made his singer debut in 2012 with mini-album “Palette”

At the end of 2021 the Pro Fit agency announced that they would be discontinuing operations for a time. In order to help the voice actors who were being dropped Okamoto established his own agency and was able to successfully transfer over the contracts of nearly all of Pro Fit’s actors in February 2022.

Okamoto is adept at board games. He wished to become a professional shogi player as a child and has received training from professionals. Also a fan of Pokemon, he once interviewed producer Junichi Masuda in an issue of Dengeki Nintendo Magazine.

Okamoto’s first lead character role was in 2006’s Ghost Hunt as John Brown. He has since had lead roles in over 230 video games and anime, including Ivan Karelin in Tiger and Bunny, Dagger in Toboso Yana’s Book of Circus, Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia, Garfiel Tinsel in Re:Zero and more.

Okamoto is a prolific actor, appearing in on-stage musicals and TV shows while also voicing animated movies, providing narration, doing radio shows, dubbing foreign films, recording drama CDs and audio books and more.

Okamoto is a member of the Seiyou Tube Channel on YouTube, which mostly seems to consist of seiyuu who are friends with one another live-streaming video games. He has a video with Silver’s Shimazaki Nobunaga, and this one boxing with Sebek’s Ishiya Haruki

There is also this video where he introduces Twisted Wonderland to new players and explains the battle system, lesson system, etc. In what seems like a very rare move for seiyuu, he actually uses Floyd’s voice at various points in his explanation; it’s a delight to watch.

Which character from any media would you like to have as a father?

Sean Maguire from Good Will Hunting (i.e., Robin Williams's character). Maybe not a very exciting or fun answer, and there's probably a lot of reasons to not pick him, but he just seems to be an extraordinarily good man who wants to help people get to a better place in their own lives, who is trying his hardest to get through the day to day, made some mistakes, loved his wife very much, and can make people who are really going through it still manage to laugh and see the world in a new perspective.

If money, laws, time, and effort were no object, what animal would you want to have?

Dragon is a hell of a good answer @michellemisfit, but if money and time and help were no object but I think I'd be intimidated by that (also I wouldn't know what to feed it!) I think I'd want either a highland cow (because once I got to pet one and it licked me and followed me around and I loved him) or a horse, because I think they're neat.

What is your Chinese takeout order?

General Tso's Chicken, crab rangoon if they have it, steamed spring rolls.

What's your favorite emoji?

👍. it's versatile. I often use it like this: 👍👍.

Would you rather have a library, greenhouse, or home theater in your house?

I was going to say library, but honestly? I might pick a greenhouse. A place that's filled with plants that I can go listen to music to even in wintertime and be warm and surrounded by nature? I think I'm going to have to pick the greenhouse.

What childhood tv show do you think of the most fondly?

Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, Power Puff Girls, and the old Pokemon tv show with Brock, Misty, and Ash.

What was your tumblr like when you first joined?

I had a shared computer with the entire house as a kid, so I did not have a tumblr then. I only saw it occasionally because I was a nerdfighter and saw fishingboatproceeds (and heard about the drama of that later). It wasn't until a couple years ago that I got a tumblr, so, not all that different to now. My tumblr was a pitiful attempt at being a writing blog, but I got more interested in fandom pursuits instead. Some things have stayed the same, though, like having an obscure icon lol.

What clothing style do you love but don't feel compelled to replicate yourself?

Dark feminine academia. Black ribbons in the hair, the plaid pleated skirts with the ripped nylons or the smoke color pleated pants, the black mary janes, the cranberry or bourbon or navy colored sweaters with the collared shirt poking out underneath, the neat dark nail polish, the dark lipped makeup. I always think it looks really cool, but a) a ribbon is going to just become a mess in my hair, b) that particular brand of feminine style and color palette rarely looks good on me, and c) seems like a lot of freaking effort that I'm not willing to put in.

If you were plopped into a fictional world, which one would you know the layout of the best?

I know the Legend of Zelda: BOTW map pretty well. The Glade in the Maze Runner is pretty simple so I think I'd know it pretty well, but I do not want to be there lmao.

What is your favorite piece of art?

This is a really hard question, um. I do love art, my brain provides things like Claude Monet or seaside paintings, but I'm going to be honest, I'm always more enchanted by the architecture of things and places -- I love to do "urban hiking". One of the most amazing places I ever got to explore was Radio City Music Hall in New York City. I learned a lot about why they designed the interior areas the way they did, and it was just such an amazing experience.

Do you have a water bottle? what does it look like?

Yes! I have a yellow one with a bunch of stickers of places I've been.

What fanfic trope is a quiet fave?

It's not even quiet for me -- character A is injured and character B patches them up. I love it.

Do you carry a daily bag? what does it look like? what's the weirdest thing in it?

I've got two. A burgundy faux-leather-looking bag for when I need to carry a bunch of stuff and look professional, such as files, a water bottle, my laptop, and other personal belongings. Otherwise I have an old thrifted purse made of green corduroy and a button with an engraved hummingbird on it that perfectly fits my laptop and my journal and one book. Attached to it is a small pouch I was given by a friend that I put my headphones case into.

If you had to ship Mickey with another Gallagher, who would it be?

I'm a fan of enemies to lovers, lol, so I would probably explore a Mickey/Lip dynamic. Also the amount of sarcasm and actually the frightening capabilities the two would have together would be fascinating.

What is a fanfic trope you didn't expect to like and then very much did?

I actually love post-sex scenes, particularly like aftercare scenes. I was not expecting that.

Do you think s11 Mickey can still carry s11 Ian?

Yup. I kind of think Mickey would make a show of it every time Ian feels weird about his own body, he would pick him up and show Ian he's still his lumbering ginger boy.

Who got custody of the killing bat when they sold the house?

@lingy910y's Mickey and Carl fighting over the bat is GOLD, but I also see Ian quietly grabbing the baseball bat and handing it to Debbie while they're arguing for actual purposes of "I want you to have this and stay safe wherever you are."

I'm starting to notice a pattern. A lot of my muses don't have a good family (or a good relationship with the family members).

In Sampo's case, for my headcanon he dislikes his mother and does blame her for her own disappearance. I actually took inspiration from the Pokemon radio drama.

According to the lore, Jessie's mother was on a mission for Team Rocket for the elusive Mew. But ended up vanishing during this search.

I took inspiration in that during one of the Masked Fools' mission, Sampo's mother vanished.

The person I followed headcanon that Giovanni keeps Jessie around as her mother was an exceptional member of Team Rocket. So it's out of politeness. But a bit of guilt as well since it was Giovanni (or his mother? This part I don't remember well) sent Jessie's mom into that mission.

So for Sampo, the idea is similar. The previous owner for the World's End tavern took pity and let Sampo live in the tavern.

Giovanni (hsr Giovanni) calls the Masked Fools his brothers. So I imagine that's what they call themselves. Brothers, sisters ect. So for Sampo his family is the Masked Fools. And for my Sampo at least, he does have sentimental feelings towards them. Of course like most families, there's those he doesn't like or agree with.

In the memory bubble with Sampo and (hsr) Giovanni, he flat out says some of them don't know how to read the room.

This implies this was towards Sparkle, but in her companion quest, he could've easily sneaked away, even as he owed her a favor. But he engaged in her little play, and even got upset that Black Swan wanted to end the game. So while he does disagree with Sparkle's views on aesthetics (elation) he does feel fondness for her.

Now this is purely me headcanon-ing but I want to say he, Sparkle and Zhongshan all lived in the same tavern at some point and became a tight group. With Zhongshan as the oldest, Sampo as second oldest and Sparkle the youngest.

And with my own thoughts and ideas on Giovanni (hsr) currently, he is Giovanni's (hsr) brother as per Masked Fools terminology, but he doesn't feel close to that man. After all, the person who hid his mask for him was Sparkle. Not Giovanni (hsr).

I also headcanon Zhongshan as a seamstress, and she's who taught Sampo how to make clothes for his disguises.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, with Ghostie's Dan Heng and Caelus, Sampo feels the urge to be a big brother to them. Honestly most kids he feels he has to be a big brother towards them. Which he has a good relationship with the Moles and Pitch Dark Hook the Great.

He's a bit of a mother hen in that regard. So yeah. Lots of found family in that regard.

Hi, Pokemon fandom. I’m here to talk about M01 Mewtwo and my thoughts on that story. Including Amber/Aitwo. First thing I want to point out about this poor kid right here.

So in the radio drama and also the 4kids dub, she is a clone that’s still in the oven, just like Mewtwo and the Kanto starters. But in the Japanese version of the movie, she is an AI/hologram.

Which honestly has a few implications here that make Dr. Fuji just seem like a worse person over all.

Firstly, AIs don’t die unless there is a hardware problem on the device they’re stored on, or they’re programed to do so. Which means either Fuji deliberately programed in a “death” function in her code, or he was incompetent and didn’t keep backups.

Secondly, he did intend to eventually clone his daughter when he was further along in his research. But what we know from Mewtwo (and can infer from Pikatwo and Meowthtwo) is that clones do not have the memories of their DNA donors. They are completely separate individuals.

Which likely means that Dr. Fuji not only wanted to create a human clone, but wanted to program it’s brain with the memories and personality of his deceased daughter.

It is also possible that he may have been interested in Mewtwo’s psychic abilities for this as well but I don’t have anything concrete to back that up. The fact that Mewtwo was meant to be Giovanni’s Pokemon complicates that idea a little bit anyways.

Another thing I want to point out is that Mewtwo likely knows about Amber/Ai. He probably doesn’t personally remember her because of the drugs, but Mewtwo unearthed all of Dr. Fuji’s research. Enough of it to recreate the Kanto starter clones and improve on the cloning process to make sure they survive this time. He also has no motivation to continue her cloning project, though he likely had the skill to do so successfully. If he did so, the clone he’d end up with would have no memories of being Ai, and he’d end up with a preschooler (or even a baby) of a species that he would have hated at the time.
