Did they really refer to Mewtwo as Mister and Sir in the Japanese version of Mewtwo Returns?

EDIT: Thanks to a friend I've confirmed that Mewtwo has indeed referred to as male in Japanese properties. Specifically the original Mewtwo. The fact that the Mewtwo in the Detective Pikachu movie is male and based on OG Mewtwo only reinforces him being male.

He also has a male telepathic voice which he projects with his amazing mind meaning he perceives himself as male internally. He's a boy. If you actually me one more time People In the Internet and tell me Mewtwo is genderless I'm going to punch you in the throat. Yes, all of you. It's only in the games that Mewtwo and most legends are genderless (or more accurately in Japan, gender unknown). The anime and the games are separate continuities.

I was having feelings and thoughts, uh pretty sure I didn't actually get my thought dialogue into this but hey ho XD i tried, little mewtwo, Meau and Noe belong to @phlurrii

Discussing Amber

Slightly away from the anomaly the ancient mew and her counterpart conversed in hushed whispers discussing what needed to be done as Noe occasionally glanced passed Meau simply to keep an eye on the foreign visitor to make sure they didn't try escaping.

The darker hued adult mewtwo stood, tail swaying and swishing blue faded fur shifting in the motion and breeze. He was watching the strange mews as much as the dark one watched him. His hand touched at the metal armor still fused to his body at his wrist unconsciously, a cold comfort of sorts as he could make out the eyes of the darker one watching him closely as though suspicious or not appreciating him being there. His own eyes fell into a tired glare, the corner of his lip lifting into a mute sneer flashing a bit of teeth. If they wanted to have issue with him he'd rather they said it to his face so he could smash their judgementful false innocent expression into the dirt. He could feel his fluff prickling in assumed malice.

"E-excuse me?" a small voice, he turned his head quickly downwards onto the small Mewtwo that looked up at him. He looked over their features quietly for a moment, despite this not being his world and this other two looking vastly different to him, smaller lighter different patterns, he could tell it was himself, just a different form. Usually he'd be a lot more hostile with other mewtwo and he knew he should've chased the little one away but they looked up at him with such earnest soft inquisitive eyes he couldn't help heave a sigh feeling as though he was looking at a curious mewphew or mewiece.

"Yes small one?" He paused to cringe at his own voice and tone, not having meant to come off as so impatient, he steadied his breath moving instead to rest on one knee lowering himself to the younger twos height, his voice softer as he repeated, "yes, small one?"

He could see them watching him with big eyes as they fiddled with their hands seemingly thinking up the correct words.

"Mewma said, well I heard her say something about us being the same?" the small one asked and he nodded his head slowly.

"Something like that, yes." He could see the small one look at him up and down, frowning a bit to themselves, "but, I'm not from here, so I'm not a future vision, you won't end up looking exactly like me." He noted the relief and for the aches in his bones he didn't blame them. "I think it was something more, we have similar stories similar origins of sorts but we still branch off from one another becoming different individuals."

He watched them blink as they nodded their head seeming to understand what he was saying.

"Did, you know Amber?" They inquired, he could hear a little plea in their tone as he blinked more than a little startled that that was a common detail, but by their expression he felt even that interaction was different.

"I did, yes."

"Do you remember what she was like? Can you tell me about her? Is, is she okay?" He felt a level of guilt at their tone, clearly they did differ severely. He sighed a bit to himself glancing over unsure if the other mews would come to stop him.

"She.." he in honesty struggled for words. He didn't hold the same admiration for her that the small one clearly did, his Amber could've been completely different to the one from this world, he didn't really want to spin a false tale. He looked away with his eyes, "she was Amber, she seemed smart I guess, knew things about towns and cities I didn't.. I'm sorry little one I don't really have anything else to say. My memory has been made quite unreliable since, what happened to me..and I have my own personal gripes I'm sure you don't want to hear." He wasn't lying about his memory issues.

The little mewtwo blinked at him tilting their head, "did, you not get on with your Amber?" He could see the confusion across their face and he didn't really want to tell them the truth. With a soft grunt he moved into a sit, his legs not thanking him for the kneeling especially not with his armor.

"It's, more complicated than that I guess, I think I met my Amber in a different circumstance to you meeting yours.. I have mixed feelings on her but that's because of what I went through.." He glanced away before glancing back at the smaller two, "but don't let my bad experience sour your Amber okay? Yours was probably nice huh? Did she show you towns and street lamps? Did she show you her favorite field?" He watched the small one blink as they processed his words before they nodded, moving to sit down on their knees in front of him paws in the dirt nodding along wanting to hear more from him as they made an absent-minded, "uh huh uh huh she did."

Despite his usual temperament he continued to amuse the smaller one, recounting what he could recall at times stopping to struggle for words and finding the smaller one filling in blanks on what was shared. He could see their tail swishing slightly, despite the difficulty they seemed to enjoy hearing someone also talk about Amber.

"Your fur reminds me of her, it's blue like her hair was," They mentioned casually at one point and he had to fight the expression he was going to make, suppressing that down offering a slightly wonky smile.

"I guess it kinda is like her blue hair.." Not having the heart or the malice to tell them how right they were, they didn't need to know.

By the time Noe had figured out how to send the foreign Mewtwo back to his home dimension the smaller two had fallen asleep with their chin on his leg, having been previously mumbling incoherently about flowers from the previously mentioned field and drifted off thinking of Amber and sunflowers. The larger two wouldn't have usually allowed the touch let alone from another two but something about this one made him a bit gentler, his hands gently slipped under the sleeping two as he lifted them up off the ground and his leg uncertainly handing them off to the strange large pink mew. Noe watched the hand off and upon receiving a confirming nod from Meau that the young one was fine they pulled their digits down through the air and rippling through the realities of space time opening a shimmering portal gateway. The adult two stood and after an awkward nod to both the still strange to him mews he stepped through the shimmer to return to his own world, Noe sighed closing the rift.

"Those really need to stop opening." They grumbles as Meau quietened a giggle for the sake of not waking the baby. Noe drifted close casually and Meau leant to reach them nuzzling her cheek and face against them fondly letting out a soothing purr.

"I know, but you did an excellent job." Noe would've huffed in play had they not been so distracted by nuzzling Meau back and purring in turn. Once they finally settled their nuzzling Noe moved and touched the sleeping twos forehead who breathed heavier but stayed asleep.

"At least the little one had a good time.. That other one had me worried.." Meau nodded at Noes words glancing at the sleeping angel and smiling moved to take them to the nest with Noe following closely behind.

I have a horrible time keeping track of water bottles/thermoses so I tend to not use any. A coworker noticed this six months ago and gave me this (already covered in the stickers) as a random 'welcome back' gift when I moved branches and on top of it being a super sweet and thoughtful gift, I'm very proud of not having lost or forgotten it in that time :D

So I checked up on the twin Mewtwos battle styles it seems like og Mewtwo while use his moves also add some physical attacks as well to balance them out while newtwo while too much on her moves a lot so i think even though if she was in a perfect condition to battle shadow mewtwo she would have never last long since he is immune to all her moves since he is a dark type in that form

Actually Newt relies on Aura sphere as her main and she’s faster than him, if she had to face him knowing full well what he was, she’d have a pretty good chance against him

I joined this blog a couple of minutes ago and I'm now realizing that I have a lot of story to catch up on, so could you maybe give me a quick run down of everything that has happened so far?

(I asked this same question on your "Joys Of Reality" blog but then I noticed that it was a side blog so now I'm re-asking this question here lol)

Gonna be real even a quick run down leaves a lot out, so I recommend reading it from the beginning if you have the time(link can be found in the blog’s pinned post)

That being said I will make an attempt

Zeus and Mnemosyne are trapped within an abandoned facility, in a digital program(they’re romantic partners)

With the help of various people they manage to create phsyical bodies for themselves

Something goes wrong in the process, Mnemosyne is left in a coma for several months

The fear and stress causes Zeus to mega evolve, alerting Fuji(OG Mewtwo) to their location

The duo are brought to Mirage Island, where they get aid from Fuji and Joyce(First movie Nurse Joy)

Agnita(the sample donor of Mnemosyne’s body) catches wind of Mnemosyne being unwell and helps them recover with some speedy gene therapy

Mnemosyne eventually wakes up, the duo is now free to experience life as flesh and blood

Sometime around this point Janus(OG Mew) makes their way to Mirage Island since “what why is there another Mew I’m the only Mew”

Mnemosyne gets pregnant

Seeing as Mnemosyne has no idea how to handle a Mew’s power and is now trying to bring more into the world, Janus offers to help them get to know the basics so they(and the unborn mittens) at least don’t blow the place up

Mnemosyne goes into labor

Various factors cause their first born, Calliope, to be born premature and weak, it’s expected she won’t last the night

Janus begrudgingly gives Calliope a boost, they’re alive and well but still pretty frail compared to their siblings, Clio and Erato

Also Callie’s blind(?). Another side effect of being premature, but it’s okay she’s got Oops, her seeing eye ‘mon

Seeing as all is well, Fuji heads out to find this other Mewtwo he’s being told about

There’s a kinda interlude here where we spent some time with Janus TL;DR Janus is very old, very tired, and isn’t ready to be Callie’s grandmewther even though Callie is PERSISTENT

Mnemosyne has a VERY bad time in a VERY bad dream with a VERY bad pile of slop that totally isn’t relevant to the story(he is, his temp name is “Goopy”, people love him for some reason)

Joyce gets super worried after watching Fuji’s vitals spike while he’s away

Joyce fails terribly in thinking Fuji went and got himself killed after he’s late coming home(man is late ONE TIME-)

Surprise! Fuji isn’t dead but his main and secondary neck have some pretty bad wounds that are Concerning™️

Double surprise! That Mewtwo he went to go find? Yeah she’s a feral little kitten that tried to divorce Fuji’s head from his body

Her name is Bellatrix(Movie 16 Mewtwo)

She’s very grumpy, enjoys pecha juice, and has now grown very attached to Joyce. Still thinks Fuji is a jerk tho but they’re working on that

Sorry for the Mewtwo spamming and the long absence. I deeply relate to Mewtwo as a character. Sure, I'm not an artificial being created to be the world's strongest or a weapon, and I'm not confused as to what I am nor do I have to worry about being real.

I relate to the trauma he's suffered, the effect that it's had on his psyche, and his strength of character to persevere against trials and tribulations he cannot conquer with his awesome powers. I really admire the message conveyed by his saga, specifically in the Japanese version because 4Kids decided to bastardize the script in America.

Depression fucking sucks. I'm feeling worthless and lost, my feelings and thoughts regarding myself, about anything pertaining to me and my work are highly transient. Nomadic. I don't know what to do with myself most times so I sleep a lot. Why do anything if I can't satisfy myself with the result? Why do anything if not even one person gives a shit? I mentally exhaust myself fretting over things related to special interests or what I'm doing with my life.

I'm trying to train myself away from these destructive habits, but I've lived my entire life this way. It's difficult to shatter the manacles of a lifelong pattern. Society tells me that to be useful, and to have value my existence must benefit it and other humans or I am lazy, a lesser human. Why should I live my life solely to benefit others? Surely, being alive means much more than that.

jericho and amber both get human disguises right? (or at least jericho does). you've said before that sivith won't get one, but i've never seen /why/ she won't get one. if its not too mich of a bother/a spoiler, could you explain why the others get one but she doesn't?

newt is my personal fave out of the two 'twos in general and it makes me a little sad to see all the fun stuff happen to/with og mewtwo instead of her :(

For story purposes. Jericho and Amber will need them because of Amber going to school in the near future, and Jericho wanting to spend time with her while she's out there, attending her school events and such, so he asks Mew to give him a disguise, since it's something he can't learn himself (Amber is a special case, I always say the transformation ability 'skipped a generation' and went to her XD). Sivith has no need to ask Mew to make her transform for anything, Blu neither. Unless I change things down the line, I have no plans to officially give her or Blu disguises

I find lavender's whole concept fascinating. Unlike the og mewtwo, lav wasn't designed to be a living weapon. If I'm remembering right, she was more a case of messing with genetics to see what happened, no real ill intent behind her creation. And because there wasn't as much tampering, she looks like almost a middle stage evolution between mew and mewtwo. Just enough changes to not be classified mew, but just enough to be classified mewtwo. Honestly if she were full-on mewtwo, I'm not sure akoya would have survived, given what happened with lav's birth as is.

That's a pretty decent analysis, actually. I've never thought of her being a middle stage evolution, but I have to agree!

You're right that a full Mewtwo would've killed Akoya. If Lav had a regular Mew twin, it would've killed Akoya, probably a lot sooner.

...Y'know, this made me curious actually.

🐥Moltres: Crimson has to be included! I debated between Moltres and Charizard, you know, with Charizard being the og favorite of Gen1, featuring  in every pokemon game, often with a new form. But Moltres won out— it just felt weird for Crimson not to be a bird, plus fire/sun motifs.

🐥Altaria: Ah, the joys of an afternoon nap. Sky enters through the fog wall... Perishes*

🐥Zacian, the Crowned Sword: Behold, the hero of Howlrule! (Disclaimer: Not my joke, totally swiped from the brilliant Alternatemind and their fic Ranch Days. Do yourself a favor and give it a read—it's pure, light-hearted wholesomeness.) And doesn't the fairy type just feel right for the hero of courage?

🐥Dragonite: I love the duality between mother hen Sky and gale force battle Sky. Perfectly fits Dragonite's personality

🐥Sirfetch'd: Say hello to Skyloft's honorary sky knight! When I realized its shiny form was gold, well, it was a must have

🐥Mew: Now, I had quite the dilemma—Mew or Mewtwo? Since Sky is technically the first of the reincarnations. But really mew is just cuter

🔴 Partner Pokémon: Just like in the anime, each trainer has that one special Pokémon who sticks by their side outside their pokeball. And for Sky, it's gotta be Moltres. I mean, how could it *not* be Crimson?

⚪ Smaller Team: There are 9 of these lads. That's waaaay too many mons at one time, so I went ahead and trimmed the teams down to three choices.

He's the first clone of Axel being batch one making him Scribes older brother and like Mays Great Grandfather genetically I'm pretty sure, sir you were not meant to get a design or be important!
