#Repost @teresasuencampbell Had a great rehearsal session today with Prof. CHAN Ka Nin, renowned Juno award-winning Canadian composer. He wrote a very special harp concerto for me in honour of his mother during Covid-times. We have been working on this project since the beginning of this year and I am extremely delighted to see it coming to its fruition. The world premiere is scheduled on Nov 11, Friday at 8 pm at @trinitystpauls with @sinfoniatoronto conducted by @nurhanarman. The concert will also be live-streamed. #new #album Antonio #Vivaldi: #Seasons #floraledasacchi #asolochamberorchestra The new album by Floraleda Sacchi accompanied by Asolo Chamber Orchestra is an ambitious and original project presenting the famous “Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi for Harp and Orchestra. Floraleda Sacchi created an arrangement of Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons keeping the orchestral part unchanged, transposing on the Harp the solo Violin and the Continuo, performing the concertos in Canada, Poland, Austria and Spain with great appreciation. The score adapts incredibly well to the transposition, leaving the themes and virtuosity unchanged, but enriching the descriptive cues of the score by Vivaldi with additional colors typical of the Harp. Published by Amadeus Arte in physical and digital format, the album is accompanied by a large booklet of 50 pages.
