People who deny one country's genocides and their right to self-sovereignty DO NOT FUCKING CARE about Palestine's. They're Western clout chasers here to exploit the trauma of Muslims, Arabs and the Global South to push their own pet imperialist's agenda. They deny the genocides of not only Holodomor but also the Uyghurs and are apologists for North Korea. They call the revolts of the Global South against socialist and communist governments "colour revolutions". They promote divisive rhetoric that alienate and pit oppressed communities against each other and work against solidarity. The only difference between them and Zionists is that they live outside the sphere of influence of the imperialist power they align themselves with.

THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT HARMLESS. A lot of you slept on Zionists until now, and we suffer for it. Do not let Tankies do the same.

Do not boost their blogs.

Do not give them platform.

Do not let them co-opt the grief of colonized to weaponize against other colonized people.

Check who you reblog from where possible and give each other heads-up if we miss them.

Just went on facebook to check on some items I'm selling (basically the only time I use that cursed website) and this post I wrote 10 years ago came up in my fb memories. *sigh* Times don't change, except now I rant about all the horrible shit Russia is doing to Ukraine on tumblr instead of fb.

#I've been super interested in Ukraine since Euromaidan and my interest has not waned at all these past 10 years #I'm not even Ukrainian or have family from there #(my family mostly came from Hungary/Serbia)#but I still think the Ukrainian fight for democracy is important #can't believe I was a senior in high school when Euromaidan was occurring #I had so much hope once Yanukovich was ousted/fled #then the first invasion of Ukraine (Crimea/Donbas/Luhansk) occurred after the 2014 winter Olympics and my heart just fucking sank #for Ukraine and all the citizens who died or were displaced #I remember when certain people were trying to convince the world that Russia's 1st invasion of Ukraine was actually a civil war between #Russian speaking/oriented Ukrainians and Ukrainian speaking/Western oriented Ukrainians #🤡🤡🤡🤡#give me a fucking break #it breaks my heart Ukraine was invaded for a 2nd time and that Western support for Ukraine is waning #I pray with all my heart that Ukraine comes out of all this stronger and that they kick Russia out #fuck tankies who say the past 10 years has been a war between the so-called imperial west/NATO #and Russia who waa betrayed by the West #sorry for the long rant #this is just something I really care about #kvietka rambles

Пам'ять що не згасне | A memory that will not fade

Today is the Day of Remembrance of the victims of Holodomor. On the fourth Saturday of November, Ukrainians honor the memory of the victims of the famine, which, among other things, was artificially created by the authorities of the Soviet Union on the territory of Ukraine in order to suppress Ukrainian resistance and destroy Ukrainian nation. In total, there were three famines in Ukraine - in 1921, 1932-33, and 1946. The Holodomor is recognized as the genocide of the Ukrainian nation.

In the evening, we light a candle as a symbol of memory. We will not forget the suffering and pain of these people. We remember them. And their story will not fade away as their lives did.

Сьогодні День пам'яті жертв голодоморів. У четверту суботу листопада Українці вшановують память жертв голоду, який серед іншого був штучно створений владою радянського союзу на теренах України задля придушення українського опору на знищення української нації. Всього в Україні було три голодомори - 1921-го, 1932-33-го, 1946-го років. Голодомор визнано геноцидом українької нації.

Увечері ми запалюємо свічку, як символ памяті. Ми не забудемо страждання і біль цих людей. Ми памятаємо їх. І їх історія не згасне так як згасли їх життя.

the ‘russia is losing and putin’s backed into a corner’ narrative is obviously untrue if you have even a basic understanding of the current conflict that isn’t entirely informed by western propaganda intended to maintain public support for the truly obscene amounts of money we’re spending to prolong this unconscionable clusterfuck. the dangerous implication at its heart is that the US is setting the stage for a potential nuclear escalation themselves to avoid the narrative collapse that will come when the russia-ukraine conflict finally ends very much in russia’s favor. these people are absolute fucking lunatics
