My first dream cosplay come true!!! 😍

Oh man. This is the outfit I wanted to have (buy? make?) before I ever knew cosplay was a thing people did. I mean, I knew carnaval, where people dress up as random jobs or animals and such, but character specific dress-up was not something that was explicitly done. (well, besides politicians and celebrities, but that was mostly to mock). So ever since I went to my first convention and saw the first cosplayers, I knew I wanted to finally cosplay the white mage from Final Fantasy Tactics! (my first ever Final Fantasy game as well~ )

This was sewn by both me and my mum. The patterns were done by me and were a combination of existing patterns and some weird new additions. It exists out of a sleeveless long dress and a cape that was basically the sleeves, a floor-length back, a big hood and a tiny front part to close the cape. I also did most of the sewing, but tricky things like an invisible zipper, lining in the bodice part and some weird construction for the sleeves was done by her. (Since I made some… questionable construction choices, this was also the project that made her decide to enroll me for sewing classes xD )

The material is all cotton, which is both a joy to work with, but a nightmare to wash with these colours 😭 The original red cotton I used was hand-rinsed so many times, but still turned the white a little bit pinkish when first washed. The red fabric seen in the picture was the second fabric I tried (the first triangles had to be taken off, some parts deconstructed, new triangles cut, pinned and sewed on). I don’t really know if these also bled, but the damage was done anyway. (like, how do people wash their cosplays? Some designs I see have the same issue, but some even have parts that can’t be washed? Like… How??? )

The staff was made that year as well, but I wasn’t too happy with it. So it got a revamp in 2020. Same base of PVC pipe and Styrofoam with paper mâché, but now with a better screwing mechanism and smoother finish. Tried some woodgrain painting as well, and I think it looks quite nice~

The gloves are also new from 2020. Don’t ask beginner cosplayers/sewists to sew gloves, even with more experience it’s still a nightmare! But I finally had a good pattern, the free easy gloves pattern by So Sew Easy, which I modified a little bit. I used a brown suedine for a soft leathery finish, but a felt-like lining for thickness, which also allowed the bulky look which is typical of the FFT artwork. (of which these is also, only one reference picture xD )

I wore this to Gamescom 2012 for the first time and even met a Final Fantasy female thief cosplayer, but I sadly can’t find the pictures anymore.

It was 7 p.m., it was raining in heavy streams from the already dark sky. The big drops hit my window in a steady pace, so relaxing. Especially after a long day.

I sat relaxed on my big, cosy king-sized bed, reading my new favourite book. In front of me, with his back facing me, my boyfriend Peter. He tried fixing some technical thing regarding his web-shooter which broke last night during a fight with this ‘Electro’-Dude.

 ‘Ah shit! It won’t work! Arghhhh!’ Peter mumbled under his breath, fumbling around the little device in his hands.

‘What’s wrong, Pete?’

‘It won’t shoot the web, even though it already should. I don’t know what’s wrong with it! It just doesn’t want to cooperate with me!’ he said frustrated.

‘Mind if I take a look?’ I asked and got up to see what was making my boyfriend so dense.

‘O-ok but pl-please don’t break it more’ he stammered as he passed me his web-shooter.

 I looked at it, from the front, from behind and from left to right. I turned it around, shook it a little. Then, after a few seconds I noticed, that the whole, where the web-fluid comes out, was clogged.

 ‘HA!’ I exclaimed proudly.

 I laid the device next to me on the bed, got up and looked for something pointed so I could de-clog it. Peter looked at me curiously, not knowing what I wanted to do. He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could let out a word, I found a needle, let out a loud giggle and went back to the bed and the web-shooter.

I took the needle and placed it inside the little whole which was blocked. I stirred a little and when I thought, I finally managed to fix it, it made a loud ‘Pufff’ noise and it kind of exploded.

(Not a big explosion though yk, just like a really really small firework 😉)

 ‘What the hell (y/n)?!’ Peter shouted. ‘What the fuck were you doing?!’

 He snatched his now burned web-shooter out of my hand.

 ‘Thank you. You ruined it. Completely.’ He said coldly.

‘I-im sorry Pete’ I mumbled quietly.

‘I know. I know.’

‘I just wanted to help-‘

‘That’s the problem (y/n)! You “just want to help”, when in reality, all you do is ruining things!’

 I just sat there, avoiding his gaze.

 ‘Why did you think you could help me, huh?! You are dumb when it comes to technical stuff, and you know that! You even told me that you find no interest in such things! Why do you always try to do things that you can’t?! Who are you pretending to be?! Gwen?!’

 I inhaled sharply when her name left his lips.

 ‘Omg! I wish you were more like her. She could REALLY help me fix my stuff. But you know what? You’ll NEVER be her’

  This broke me. Completely.

His words were like daggers, slowly pushed into my stomach, just wanting to do as much damage as possible and waiting until I bled to death.

Peter exhaled loudly, turned around und pulled his earphones out of his jeans back pocket. He turned the music so loud, I could here it through the earbuds.

Slowly, I stood up, not wanting him to notice me. I walked towards the window and opened it. The rain sounds immediately good louder and a light breeze flushed through my room. I hoped Peter wouldn’t notice the temperature change.

I slid under the window onto the fire escape, closed the window again and off I was. Walking through the cold, dark and rainy night. Alone. In New York. _______________________________________________

  There was a knock at the door. At first I didn’t hear it because of the really loud music which was ringing in my ears.

The knocking got louder and through the earphones, I was able to hear a familiar voice. It was (y/n) mom.

I again started to focus on the repairing of my web-shooter, expecting (y/n) to go and open the door for her mother. But it never happened.

I turned around, searched for her face, but she wasn’t there. She wasn’t sitting behind me on her bed. She was gone.

 FUCK

 Mrs. (y/l/n) slowly opened the door to her daughters room.

 ‘Darling, dinner’s re-…..Where is (y/n)?’ Her mother looked at me with serious eyes.

‘I-I don’t know…’ I stammered.

 When did she leave? HOW did she leave? Why didn’t I notice that she was gone?

 ‘Peter! Where is my daughter?’ she pushed.

‘I really don’t know Mrs. (y/l/n). I never saw her leave. I don’t know where she is. Isn’t she in the apartment?’

‘No, that’s the point. She. Is. Not. Here.’

 I felt a knot in my lower stomach when I remembered what had happened just an hour ago.

 ‘Fuck!’ I shouted.

‘Peter?’

‘I messed up Mrs.  (y/l/n). I am so, so sorry. I will fix this. Now. Immediately. I promise. I will bring her home’

 With this, I stood up, took my stuff and left (y/n)’s mom stunned in her daughters room.

 Why?

I am such a coward!

 When I found myself in an empty street, I put on my spiderman-suit and started to swing through the city to find my girlfriend.

Luckily, I had a spare web-shooter in my backpack, so I could swing without any problems.

 ‘Why did I have to be so damn stupid’ I said to myself.

 I mentally slapped myself for my stupidity. I fucked up. I did one of the things, a boyfriend should NEVER do. Compare here to another girl. FUCK!

 After almost an hour, after ignoring all of the crimes that happened beneath me, my spidey-tingle thing, how (y/n) liked to call it, sensed her presence.

YES! Finally!

I followed that tingly sensation until a came across an empty side-street, which was filled with trash-bags, rats and other stuff. I carefully landed and walked through.

I heard some rattling and I swirled around.

That’s when I saw her.

Overall update on the Crimson Vines/Blood Vines (Punz refers to them as the Blood Vines near the end of the original stream of its appearance). This is going to be a combination of two unfinished posts updating on this plotline.

Skeppy is Anti-Egg and asked Sam for his help to remove the vines

After Sapnap tried to blow up the Egg, Pufff and Bad cover the Egg in obsidian

Covering the Crimson/Egg some how mutes or removes the influence it has on BBH, Ant, and Puffy

Ponk is apparently also under the Crimson’s control maybe?

At some point Skeppy removes the obsidian covering the Crimson and it regains its grip on the trio (Ant, Bad, and Puffy)

Things happen and Skeppy somehow ends up inside the Egg and covers it with obsidian, trapping himself inside to save Bad

When Skeppy was freed he’s Red instead of blue, as if the Crimson took his blue away

The Crimson doesn’t like blue, blue soul sand fire is the only true way to destroy its vines

Skeppy comes out and is not the same

He doesn’t care for the Bad the same way at all and it fucking hurts man, I’m afraid to watch that stream because even Bad has to break character every now and then to compose himself ;-;

He doesn’t get jealous when Puffy pretends to be him and smooches Bad (on the nose)

He makes a random in a hill house in the forest, saying it’s his new home and shit

Bad manages to get the disc into his ender chest but I heard he lost it but idk so don’t take my word for it on that

Note: Apparently the Crimson Plot isn’t in the same lore as the SMP plot, but since Tommy’s disc plays a point in it at some point. It is part of SMP canon, personally.

What are some of your OC’s favourites? Favourite food, colour, season, stuff like that! Give some general simple facts that tend to get overlooked!

Ooh, this is a fun one. Thank you! ^_^

Ven has a lot of favourite things. To absolutely no one’s surprise, he’s pretty enthusiastic about everything.

Favourite food: Oro Nuggets. If he were able, he would live off protein shakes, oro nuggets and tea.

Quinn despairs at his eating habits and does attempt to make his diet healthier, usually with much nagging.

Ven is also a terrible cook. Not because he’s inherently unskilled, but because he doesn’t have a solid grasp on ‘correct method’, and tends to just wing things he most definitely not wing. Like, for example, finding a recipe for Golrokan soup on the holonet, not realising that the measurements were in Republic, and adding far, far too much spice because that ‘looked about right’.

Even Vette had to admit defeat.

For snacks, he has been known to polish off entire family sized bags of Salted Algae Pufffs™, and frequently hides his stash of them from Malavai, who is concerned about his salt intake.

Colour:  Yellow! There’s just something about bright things that really appeals to him.

He often complains that nothing goes with his green skin, and he absolutely refuses to wear the staple Sith crimson, as he thinks it makes him look like a Lifeday tree.

He has a soft spot for blue, though.

Season: This is a tough one, as Dromund Kaas doesn’t really do seasons, per se. The ‘slightly-less-rainy-one’, I suppose.

He likes the planet he thinks of as his home, even though his species is not well adapted to living in such humidity.

In his human incarnation, he loves summer. Hot, bright and with the opportunity to take his clothes off, he can’t think of anything better. Poor Malavai and his sunburn cannot agree. 

Misc: 

- He loves to dance. He had formal training while he was growing up, as I headcanon that dance is very important to the Empire. It’s a form of self expression that stemmed from the Sith, and it’s one that the Imperials have adopted and are actually allowed to practice.

So he dances salsa, swing and everything in between, and he often visits his old dance teacher when he’s on Dromund Kaas. Sometimes, he allows her to pull him up in front of a class for a demonstration. 

- He’s very fashion conscious. This isn’t really a ‘little known’ kind of fact, but it’s going in anyway!

He’s extremely particular about his appearance, especially when attending social functions. He spends more on his hair than some people make in a month, and his wardrobe requires it’s own room.

He doesn’t wear much makeup as he doesn’t think it suits him, but he does add a lick of eyeliner if attending the right kind of party. Sith go in pretty hard on the makeup and the jewelry, and he doesn’t think anything of turning up in gold and kohl, stealing the show.

Jaesa, incidentally, is very curious about this and, after many gushing sessions over Imperial fashion, becomes quite the style icon herself. Lord Wilsaam ends up the envy of many a Sith, and is featured in multiple Imperial magazines and top-ten-most-fashionable-Sith lists.

- He cries when he’s upset. Many would imagine his roguish, somewhat aggressive demeanor would mean that he thinks crying is weak, but that isn’t the case. He cries when he’s upset or sad, and isn’t afraid of admitting it. 

Vette was completely baffled when she first saw him cry, and Malavai just about had a heart attack.

- He likes thunderstorms. They remind him of Dromund Kaas, and his apartment there, which was his first taste of independence. Even on Odessen, he would stay up late to listen to the rain.

- When he drinks, he drinks cocktails. The fruitier and sweeter, the better! No one dares to comment on it. ;)

- He’s a gym rat. He spends most of his free time in the gym or watching/reading/writing fanfiction about his favourite series, Warm Hearts, Cold Space.

Klazer Is a wind dragon form the Cristal dimecion, And his four wings aré Made literaly form Cristals! This Is because another dimensión, Zulm, Invade it at one point on his way to take and dominante the other Dimensión, and lot of wars take place...... and they took out the wings of all dragons, but and they found a way using the Cristals of their dimensión to Create wings to Replace them!

(I never thinked I Will finish this , or post im...pufff , those Feathers took me Forever to paint! I has take me a lot last year between University and other Stuff of life😅)

Nishikage x Mizukamiya

For Mizukamiya, Nishi's chest is the best pillow ever. He loves to sleep on him and Nishi loves to caress his hair in the mean time. They can spend hours like that, not only while sleeping.

Mizu loves to see Nishikage with his hair down (this mostly happens in the mornings or after a shower) and he also likes to brush it or try different hairstyles on it.

If the blue haired has his hair tied, Nishi won't stop leaving kisses on his nape.

Nishi based "Artemis' ring" on Mizu's "Zone of Pentagram". The defender saw it when he was with his teammates and he couldn't help but cry of joy, so the Seishou guys had to give him a lot of wipes and calm him down.

Mizukamiya's nickname from Nishikage is "Miya". Since nobody calls him that way, Nishi thinks it's something special that only he can use.

Their relationship had a hard time while the Ares program was still active. They could barely see each other and they had to do it in secret.

They felt like Romeo and Julieth when their teams where enemies.

But now, both of them, Seishou and Outei, think that they make a really good couple.

Even so, that doesn't stop the Seishou squad to give "death glances" at Nishikage. They don't want their mom to get hurt so they're always really protective with him. But they also know that Nishi is the perfect person for Mizukamiya.

Atsuya x Aphrodi

They love to go to Starbucks and put funny maching names on their drinks.

Atsuya loves to receive kisses on his cheeks from Aphrodi, even if that makes him to blush like a tomato.

Aphrodi finds Atsuya's height the cutest thing in the world.

Atsuya likes caressing his boyfriend hair, even so he's extremely carefull while playing with it bc he doesn't want to break it or something like that. XD

Sometimes the pink haired just stares at Afuro bc, gosh, he's just beautiful.

If Atsuya's scarf is torn appart or something, Aphrodi will always fix it with his sewing skills.

NEVER mess up with the blond boy if you don't want the Bear Killer to hunt you even in your dreams.

Even if Atsuya doesn't like to go shopping, he will always go with Aphrodi and try some matching outfits with him.

Speaking of outfits, Aphrodi always knows which clothes will suit his boyfriend the best.

Atsuya would teach Terumi to go snowboarding. The blond one is not really good at it but he knows that it's something really special for his boyfriend, so he always tries to do his best.

If the weather isn't good, they will stay inside and watch a movie while being covered by blankets. Atsuya always tries to put a scary movie bc, on that way, Aphrodi would hug him more than usual.

guys, helloo! i’m the old owner of brightpsd (sorry if anything’s written wrong english is not my first language)

i came back on this tumblr cause i just lost the account of brightpsd and i have no idea how that happened... i dont know if it was hacked or deleted or anything - cause if you search for the blog it appears on the search, but when you click on it pufff it says it doesnt exist anymore.

anyway, i know this comeback will be hard and i hope you guys believe me when i say that i didnt just vanished without warning etc, i really lost the blog and was so upset about it :(

i have all the resources posted on bright on my account on deviantart (this one justmelodrama) and you can download them there! i think from now on i’ll be posting only new resources, or maybe i’ll do a masterpost of the old ones later.

This was the first time I wore this cosplay to a convention, to Gamescom in 2012. Best choice ever to wear it there, because at a lots of booths they threw (or just gave xD ) free goodies. And oh boi, these sleeves are just REALLY BIG pockets 8D

The red triangles were still the first red fabric I used, and it’s a lot brighter than the replacement fabric. But it does have its charm~
