Hello! I’d like to make another request if possible. I really loved how you did the Harbingers taking care of their sick s/o headcanons. Can I have headcanons with all the Harbingers comforting their s/o when they are crying? I know Pulcinella is supposed to be platonic, so maybe he can go into doting grandpa mode.

synopsis: When you're crying and upset, the first person you go to is none other than the one you love most. And of course, they never fail to deliver their love for you.

Disclaimer: Just so I don’t get repetitive, I just want to say that if another person made you cry, all of the Harbingers would have no problems doing some really… bad things to them. Since that’s out of the way, let’s continue.

Pierro:

Pierro would spend a normal day with you. You may ask why this is so special, but being the lover of the First Harbinger, who carries heavy burdens from Khaenri’ah, means you often don’t have “normal” days together. But when you’re this sad and crying, he has to make an exception. He would let himself sleep in with you, hold you close to him as you tell him everything and anything that’s been bothering you. (Despite his responsibilities, he still yearns to be updated on your life.) Pierro carries you to the bath and the two of you spend some time enjoying each other’s presence. He helps to dress you, and he cooks breakfast himself, which is eaten in peaceful silence. A long walk is taken through Snezhnaya and he lets you cling to his arm, despite the occasional looks of the other Fatui grunts. The two of you would walk through the forests and snow, and the town and markets of the frozen country. This kind of stuff might seem so bare and boring to outsiders, but you know that his time is the most precious gift you can receive from him, and you would want nothing else for comfort.

Capitano:

The one who is sincerely trying his best out of everyone and trying every method possible to cheer you up. Drops anything that he’s doing and while Capitano isn’t sure what to do, he knows his chest hurts more terribly than any battle wound when you’re sad. He is very protective of you, and wants nothing more than to destroy anything that’s causing you pain. And so, he thinks about what you do whenever you think he’s sad, and decides to spread his arms out to the side like you do when you want a hug. And of course you take the bait and practically launch yourself at him, but he catches you with ease. (When you teach this man how to hug and hold you properly, it is HEAVENLY. No better feeling than Capitano holding you snug on his lap with one arm while the other does whatever else he needs to do. Him one handedly holding you to his chest while the other is swinging a greatsword battling people. Yup.)

Tries every domestic thing in the book you gave him a while ago but kind of fails. When he cooks he chops up the ingredients disproportionately. When he picks flowers himself for you, the stems are half broken because he squeezed them too hard. When he reads stories to you and tries to give the characters different voices for you, you start laughing so hard your head hurts again. Capitano starts to feel bad, that your lover is someone whose only great strength is battle and leading others into war. But when all you do is smile at him and thank him, tugging on his arm to lay down with you, he can’t help but feel like he’s becoming more worthy of you.

Columbina:

The first thing is does is pull you into her lap and strokes your gently, humming a soft lullaby over your sniffles, in an effort to help you take a nap. Columbina knows you must be exhausted from so many tears, so she wants you to rest and just take a break from everything. She’ll be by your side the entire time. Also, any song requests are available for her during this time. She would sing for you however long you want even if her voice goes hoarse.

I don’t know why but I feel like she likes fluffy/soft and silky things. So the two of you would definitely be wrapped up in the softest blankets and pillows, even some plushies here and there. Columbina tends to place her head on the crook of your neck and just kiss the tears away (lots of back hugs.) Her words are quiet and soft-spoken but you can clearly hear them when she’s so close to your ear. Also, lots of looking up new hair styles so you can do whatever you want with her hair.

Dottore:

That ever-present smirk of his fades a bit when he sees you cry. Out of everyone, he is the most dumb-founded, because the emotion is not very familiar to him, and since he’s never seen you like this before, he has no data or experiences to help him know what to do. Yes, he had seen people cry before… cry in fear when they saw him. So he just stands there and lets you cry into his chest, a vial of unknown liquid in one hand while the other one is placed very hesitantly and awkwardly on the top of your head.

If this was anyone else, he would laugh in their face about their problems, but when it comes to you? You got his utmost attention. When Dottore comforts you, he first follows the very basics of comforting - just listening to what you have to say. He had grown accustomed to your physical touch, and in fact, secretly welcomed it since it made you feel better. Dottore is more of a logical person rather than an emotional one, so he won’t baby you or use too many honeyed words. Instead, he’d use more facts, solutions, and things you haven’t thought of before. The most verbal affection you’ll get is something along the lines of not letting fools rile you up, that you’re his partner for a reason (but that’s a lot coming from Dottore.) Makes it a mental note to make a clone follow you around from now on so your day would go more smoothly. Also the kind of guy to make his clones play card/board games with you and let you win on purpose. Would make you a hot cup of tea, his coat draped over you, while you watch him go about his experiments and such. Also the guy who would simultaneously be down to help you get revenge on anyone if you wished.

Pulcinella:

The grandpa who takes one look at you and beckons you to follow him for some tea and sweets. Makes you sit down next to him and lets you cry to your heart’s content. Depending on your personality, he already has a hundred ways to make you feel better. (After all, I headcanon that the Harbingers tend to rant to him about anything and he gives them advice/consolation. Papanella’s hugs are really nice, to be honest, it feels like you’re really hugging someone who cares about you.) This might be random - but you know those memes where grandparents always make you lots of food when you go over to their house? Well… that’s Pulcinella since I think that it would be cute.

He would distract you from whatever’s bothering you with a new story of course. Somehow, no matter how many times he tells you stories, he always has a new one. He’s also the one who would also gently urge you to confront your problems. Nonetheless, he’s very comforting and if you asked him he’d help you with whatever you’re dealing with. Pulcinella also forces the other Harbingers to cheer you up too.

Scaramouche:

Who does he have to kill? Pretty much the first thing that goes through Scaramouche’s mind when he sees tears roll down your face. If you reassure that this is not the case, he is not sure what to do afterwards. Whenever Kunikuzushi showed emotions, he was seen as week, vulnerable and received no comfort, so he kept it inside him. So now when he sees you crying so freely in front of him, he doesn’t know what to do. At first he is gruff in his words, telling you simply not to cry, that you don’t need to worry over dumb things when you have him, but of course this does not do much to relieve you of your sadness. So he sighs and places his hat on you since Scaramouche knows how much you like it.

A habit I think he picked up from when he was Kunikuzushi, is that he went to different scenic places to just pass the time and escape from sheer loneliness. He would tentatively hold your hand and lead you to one of these places nearby, and just sit with you. He wouldn’t say anything much because he didn’t want to say anything he didn’t mean to. And the two of you would just watch the sun turn into the moon. The golden sky transform into a starry night. Scaramouche would wordlessly keep an arm around you. Your life was too short to be sad, anyway.

Arlecchino:

Yet another Harbinger who has no experience comforting someone who they actually care about. But that cold mask of her breaks for a split second when she sees you cry. Every time one of the orphans cried, she kind of just looked at them and ordered another Fatui agent to take care of them. Physical nor verbal affection are her forte, so Arlecchino would rather show you how much she cares. She’d carry you to her shared room with you, lay you down and pull up the blankets. She’d move her office temporarily into the room so she could still work but in actuality she’s sitting on the edge of the bed, holding your hand while you tell her what happened. Arlecchino spoon feeds you, wipes any crumbs away with a tissue. When you fall asleep, she very carefully holds you to her chest and whispers words of love you’ll be hard-pressed to hear while you’re conscious.

La Signora:

It is a bit melancholic for La Signora - she never had the chance to wipe away her past lover’s tears, but now that she has the ability to finally do so for you, she feels a sense of bittersweetness. But she is very confident in herself, and she would like you to feel the same, so she would not hesitant with her honeyed verbal affirmation. She traces over every inch of your body, pointing out all the perfections and beauty she sees within you. She tells you how lucky she is to have someone like you in her life, after everything she’s been through. Rosalyne hums an old Mondstadt song and asks you mundane questions (Do these shoes match this hairpiece? Does this color go with that one?) Has her moths perch on your shoulder and smother you with warmth.

Pantalone:

Oh boy, he is just so sweet <3. Pantalone’s hugs are definitely the warmest; you feel bundled up not only in his fluffy coat but also in his genuine comfort and care for you, black locks tickling your cheek. He’s another one who's keen on pampering you, only that he can do it more easily. He has access to all the funding and bank reserves. Nothing is unattainable. And his workload is different from the other Harbingers - he can sit you on his lap, listening to your woes and worries while repeatedly signing his signature on documents for the whole day. When it comes to you, Pantalone has a great amount of patience. He has all the tissues ready for you and will hold onto every word you utter, so he can refute it later.

I think that he is big on self-care, especially for you, so when you’re upset he just wants to help you look and feel amazing again while murmuring words of consolation and love. This means that he will adoringly wash and comb your hair while carefully listening to anything you have to say, whether it’s a loud rant or hushed words of sadness. Helps you slip into the comfiest night clothes. Reads you any story you desire in that velvety voice of his. Is very fond of calling you a variety of pet names, like “my love” or “darling”, anything romantic really. Pantalone really hates seeing you cry. It’s one of the only times you would see him without a smile and a creased forehead.

Sandrone:

When Sandrone sees you crying, a burst of… unfamiliar emotion she rarely feels erupts in her chest, completely contrary to what she usually feels after working with puppets all day. Why? She was worried. How? She was upset. Who? She was angry that she couldn’t protect you. Her Automation quickly scoops you up and places you on her lap, letting you curl into your lover’s chest. Swiftly moves you to her private room and lets you cry into her shoulder for as long as you want, silently rubbing your back. (Many wonder if Sandrone’s feet ever touch the floor, always perched atop her robot’s hand. If only they could see how tender she was with you.)

She is intelligent in the most complex engineering, but when it comes to properly comforting you, she is at a loss. But she really does try her best. I feel as though she would implement nondeadly and rather cute features in her robots just to make you smile. (Pull the robot’s finger and a bouquet of flowers comes out! It tips its hat at you and some confetti comes out!) Sandrone would take you out for some fresh air to clear your head. Also provides quality entertainment. What is it, you ask? If you find watching her prototype model Automatons fight to the death, then you’ll surely have a joyous time. (You can’t help but laugh regardless. I’m now thinking about you placing bets on which robot wins with the other Fatui, but you always win because your lover tells you who's going to win before…)

Childe:

Childe would immediately pull you into his tight embrace, with no hesitation. He’s used to the sniveling and tears of his younger siblings, so as soon as he sees your crumpled face he knows exactly what to do. No matter how much you wet his clothes, Childe won’t let you go until you ask him to. He amps the pampering up to the maximum. Blanket cocoons/burritos are an absolute must. He cooks food himself so you could have the warm feeling of home cooking surrounding you. He would literally do all of the household tasks, not allowing you to lift a finger. He’d want to help bathe you, wash your hair, scrape away the grime from the day, gently worship your body by pressing affirmative kisses, and tell you how amazing you are, and how much you mean to him.

Childe is a really good listener and takes what you say very seriously if you’re willing to tell him. If it is a problem he can fix, you can bet he’s going to have some agents solve it, and even take care of it himself if anything. If you want to stay silent, he won’t pressure you, but his touch lets you know that he’s always here for you. Honestly, he probably spoils you more intensely for a few days because he knows that when you cry, you don’t magically wake up the next day fine again. Without fail, Childe would ask you how you’re feeling, monitoring your emotions and feelings. When you’re sad, he is too. How can he ever focus when his love is hurting? Also takes advantage of all possible cuddling positions.

Fatui Harbingers with a child they don't own

୨୧﹑synopsis :: a child that doesn't seem to belong to any one of them is known to wander around headquarters, though it's not exactly clear whose it is or how it even got there. well, it's cute enough, isn't it?

this was a little thought that came to mind, mostly because of the fact I was like "Capitano forced to carry around some lil baby would be cute" and I'm fuckin speed running writing this before sports tryouts I've got less than one hour 😭

nvm I didn't finish in time and it got cancelled anyway so we can work slowly now (I didn't even finish this until the next day anyway LMAO) the mild implication each of them handles the same child on different days and this kid is just experiencing all of these things is funny to me for no reason

you have a horrible habit of wandering off while waiting for your parent, somehow managing to find yourself in the stranger possible places. how you end up there, nobody who has to look for you ever really knows, but you usually end up finding at least one person who will—if nothing else—tolerate you.

the youngest of the Harbingers is the easiest to survive and get along with. Childe likes you, and knows how to keep you entertained while he somewhat awkwardly waits to see if anyone will arrive to look for you. admittedly, he likes it whenever you pop up, finding you a good little distraction, and you think his bow is cool to watch when he uses it. you think it's just the fact that he's so good with it that makes it so interesting, and he's very supportive when you tell him all of the stuff you don't get to tell anyone. it's not that Childe is constantly waiting to feed his interest nor does he always care a lot but he certainly makes it sounds like he does and it sounds very much like he's proud of you for even your minor achievements. are you hungry? he can get you food if you need and makes sure you're shockingly well taken care of and there's not a scratch on you when you leave. he even has you calling him big bro at some point though where that came from nobody is really sure.

on a very different note, Arlecchino is at first very confused by you, then quite soft. she does not coddle you, but she is never particularly aggressive towards you, initially believing that you were looking specifically for her for some reason. after all, what else would make a small child pull at her overcoat? she does begin to wonder where you came from, and was very impressive to you, though she warns you not to grab at her clothes too much. by her own words "Something might bite you" thought that really refers to whatever weapon she keeps, referring to it in a way a child would easily understand. she lets you sit with her while you wait, but warns you once more this time not to wander, sometimes letting you take her hand and guide her to pat your head and play with your hair.

admittedly, you are not what one might call the the most popular with the banker, though he gives you little trinkets and more frequently gives you mora to look at. he gifts you loose mora so much that you run off to him when there's something you want but can't afford, and of course he notices though you think you're so slick. Pantalone starts to give you more money, as long as you keep showing up, looking and learning all the things he wants to show you. he wouldn't indulge your greed so much if it didn't give him what was an opportunity. he finds fostering your curiosity is much easier than squandering it and when you want to see the many things you simply cannot afford while living on the salary of a lowly fatuu you've picked the best option for who to go to. someday you're going to need the knowledge he happily provides, and who better to learn from than the richest man in Teyvat? wait, what do you mean you barely understood a word of it?!

above all else you think La Signora is very beautiful, and really you just want to follow the pretty lady around even if she tries to pretend she doesn't notice you at first. your persistence got so annoying she was forced to turn around and try to figure out what you want, touching your face and observing your features to see if she recognises them. of course she doesn't. she has no idea who the hell you are, or where you came from or what you want. strangely there's this endearment to you, like she can't quite bring herself to get rid of you even if she's not over the moon about you insisting on holding her hand and going wherever she goes.

easily one of the most fun to bother is Sandrone, who may have been a little on the eager side to have someone who could act as a test user for at least a few of her automatons for her. if even a child could understand the instructions, surely grown adults would have no problem right? you make a great play tester, often finding several of them piled up just for you to play with. she knows you can't stop your wandering, you'll continue to come back to see her--her inadvertent bribery that she'll have cool toys to play with ready for you to seek her out. admittedly not all of your critiques make it in, mostly the ones that don't actually apply to their purpose as she has you believing they're just harmless toys with coincidental abilities. she is generally quite benevolent towards you however, always acting as if she really will accept them in a heartbeat. she always keeps you well taken care of too.

perhaps the most shocking reaction of all is Scaramouche who is…unexpectedly nice to you. for someone supposed to be bold and generally disliked, he sure is nice in letting you crawl all over him and ask your thousand questions. he fusses over you in that odd caring way, though never what you'd call particularly sweet about it. he buttons your coat for you when he doesn't want you to get cold and lets you hide under his hat from the snow. Scaramouche often sits you in his lap as he finds something to talk to you about whether it be school or home, all a ploy to keep you still perhaps, but if for some reason he doesn't enjoy your conversations-- well, you certainly don't notice. he does greatly enjoy it in fact, a little more than he cares to admit even to you.

talking at all to Pulcinella is like talking to your Grandfather as he comes to recognise you well, greeting you with a ruffle of your hair as he asks if you've gotten bigger. you haven't gotten bigger, and he's really not all that good at picking you up, but he certainly tries and you try to pretend your feet are more than an inch off the ground. perhaps manhandling simply isn't his strong suit. still you enjoy all the candy he has laying around, and the little gadgets you find around his office which haven't had a use in twenty years. a bit of interest to them doesn't exactly make them useful, and the things you really like are always the ones you can't touch like the little tin of rolled up papers secured with a rubber band and some suspicious stuff you can't discern, but he has many stories to tell of these things all to keep you distracted from the fact you got your hands on a tobacco tin and specifically cannot use it.

strangely the least opposed but most confused by you being around is Capitano, who cannot seem to simply scare you off at a glance and therefore has to wonder why you're here at all, where are your parents? you definitely don't work here. you must be cold, hungry? did you drink enough water today? he finds himself starkly confused as to why you just wander around him, can't seem to find an ounce of sense in you as you don't turn tail and run, and while he lets you sit on his lap when you get too tired he does not appreciate having to pull your hands away from his helmet all the time. maybe he should let you just to deter you after you almost get your hand bitten off. something about the way you still hug him tightly before you leave, or how you'll just dangle off your arm, even the way that you will appear in the most inconvenient situations and he'll just hook you under his arm and cart you off somewhere with him he knows is safe. of course you think this is the most fun you've ever had but on the other hand he really wishes you would show up at a time when he's not occupied.

to Columbina you are just the cutest little thing, drawn to the sound of her voice, though that is only what first leads you to find her by chance. she does not specifically take care of you so much as pamper you, playing with your hair and sitting you by her side to keep you company. you like to turn her hair and the ornaments in her hair, all which make you say she's like a pretty dove. she knows someone will come to find you, but in the meantime she is focused on settling you down to stop your wandering. she lets you cuddle up to her, lulling you to sleep with a pretty song that calms you down. you're much easier to watch that way. it keeps you from wandering, something she notices you must have a habit of considering you found her in the first place. it doesn't matter how full of energy you were when you walked in, always finding yourself curled up, head resting on her shoulder as you drift off to sleep rather quickly.

you are not exactly granted the warmest welcome by the Doctor, in fact you become terrified of Dottore the second he notices you've found your way inside and accidentally mistakes you for one of his test subjects. of course that makes you turning tail and running off seem quite suspicious, though you're also not very hard to catch. all of your squirming is expected, barely even stopping him very much at all. thankfully Dottore wasn't born yesterday, and the large stuffed animal you carry around and the clothes you wear are fairly indicative of the fact that you're probably not one of his subjects after all once he gets a better look at you. though it's hard to ease your shaking and wipe your tears when you're not eager to listen. he's not exactly the best with children either, though you do eventually come around once he figures out what to do, letting you cuddle up to him while he stroke your back to soothe you just in case you happen to be well liked by anyone he's not keen to annoy--rare chance but never impossible. you're not exactly eager to spend time loitering around there once he sets you back on your feet and watches you run off, but rare is not impossible.

how you even managed to find your way to Pierro is beyond even him, as the sudden opening of his door is usually met with a glare, though the sight of an empty space where a person would usually be prompts him to look down just to be sure. suffice it to say he's not exactly happy to have some little ankle biter running around headquarters, but he doesn't really have time to drop everything and scoop you up to march you back wherever you came from. you have to sit still and wait. Pierro should've foreseen you crawling around his feet to get under his desk and treating it like a hidey hole--being there in the first place should've indicated to some degree that you're not particularly into the idea of patience. his numerous attempts to catch you by your arm and hold you still don't work either, just resulting in you giggling and running off to some other corner where you get into something you shouldn't. he knows damn well all of his attempts are only encouraging you, and he's a glad to finally watch you give up, possibly just because you got bored-- but whatever the reason, watching you crawl back under his feet to fit between the little space in between him and his desk lets him breathe a sigh of relief and go back to working for a little white longer while you wait for him to go find whoever you belong to.

suffice it to say whoever was looking for you is sufficiently horrified by the time they find you, but that doesn't seem to be too unusual to you.

Genshin Men - Do they shower What do they smell like?

a/n: This is just something stupid I thought of when chatting with a friend. Not serious...most of them at least.

Mondstadt

Albedo - No because he doesn't really have to. He's made of chalk so he's just kinda scentless.

Bennett - He tries to shower but it never works. Stinky boy.

Diluc - Yes, but he does just smell like alcohol due to his job.

Kaeya - Absolutely. He smells great on days he doesn't go to the tavern.

Mika - Yes. He smells like a newborn baby

Razor - No. He smells like wolf shit (literally)

Venti - No, but the overwhelming smell of alcohol covers up any stench.

Liyue

Baizhu - He showers. He smells like a doctor's office in a good way.

Chongyun - He's convinced if he smells the spirits will avoid him even more. He smells like silk flowers. ;)

Xiao - NO. He smells RANCID. never bathed in his life. Closest thing to a shower he's ever had is getting rained on.

Xingqiu - Of course he does. He smells like your typical rich kid. Expensive perfume.

Zhongli - Yes. He smells like a tree tho lmao.

Inazuma

Ayato - Of course. He smells amazing I swear on it.

Gorou - ....no.. He swims that's his bath. Smells like wet dog.

Itto - Not until Shinobu forces his stinky ass to. He smells like a middle school locker room.

Kazuha - He does when he can. Still manages to smell good tho.

Heizou - Yes. Smells so good I'd lick his armpits.

Thoma - Yes. He smells like cleaning supplies like the malewife he is.

Sumeru

Alhaitham - Yes but he uses 13 in one wash. His tits make up for his lack in proper shower hygiene. He smells like a library in a bad way.

Cyno - Only because Tighnari forces him too. Otherwise he'd smell just as bad as Xiao.

Kaveh - Absolutely. He takes bathing so seriously. He smells Amazing.

Tighnari - Yes. He smells like the forest. (so original i know)

Wanderer - Yes. He's not trying to stink. He does smell like cheap body wash tho.

Fontaine

Ferminet - Yes. He smells like Gerber Grins Giggles Sweet Pea Gentle Mild Baby Wash For Hair & Body. (he is my son)

Lyney - Yes. He smells Immaculate

Neuvillette - He does but he can't wash away the smell of rain.

Wriothesley - No. Axe bodyspray and BO.

Fatui

Capitano - Yes, but he'll always smell like blood.

Childe - Yes, but he doesn't wash himself he just lets the water run down. Blood and way too much expensive cologne.

Dottore - NO. Nah, he rubs himself down with rubbing alcohol and calls it a day. Smells like bleach and mildew.

Pantalone - Yes. Just the right amount of expensive cologne.

Peirro - Yes, but he just kinda smells like death.

Pulcinella - Yes. He smells like your typical grandpa.

Other

Aether - No. I'm sorry, but he smells like sweat at the best.

Dainsleif - N O. Another connoisseur of rain baths. Smells awful.

Description: Are they a dog person or a cat person?

A/N: I love this idea honestly and I feel like some people have done this already but it's alright. I am a dog person btw (but I still like cats). Again this is my personal opinion :)

Aether: Dogs

I feel like his personality is more like a dog than a cat. Plus he would probably take his dog along with him during adventures (I can sense jealous Paimon)

Albedo: Cats

I picture Albedo to like cats because they're initially calmer than dogs. He wouldn't mind if you got a dog though.

Al Haitham: Cats

Although he doesn't really like pets, he would probably get a cat. Mainly because they are less maintenance and need less attention. Plus dogs are too much for him :/

Probably got influenced by Thoma. He thinks dogs are a very loyal companion :)

Bennett: Dogs

Cats tend to stay away from him for some reason. He's also gotten scratched by cats all the time, especially when he goes to The Cat's Tail. Also would bring the dog with him to his adventures.

Capitano: Cats

I don't know why but I just feel like this dude loves cats. He thinks their cooler and stealthier.

Childe: Dogs

I think he would definitely have a Golden Retriever! He likes cuddles and so do dogs ;)

Chongyun: Cats

I feel like he would get a cat because Shenhe dislikes dogs :/ nah I'm kidding. But I feel like he likes cat more.

Cyno: Dogs

No it's not because he looks like a wolf. I just feel like dogs would tolerate him better. The cat would probably be like: "Damn this dude got no humor"

Dainsleif: None

Personally, he doesn't really like animals. But if you convince him you might get yourself a dog.

Diluc: Both

Though he likes birds more, he would still like dogs and cats. He's fond of both so it's a 50/50.

Dottore: None

Don't ever get him any type of pet. Poor animal might turn into an experiment.

Gorou: Dogs

Is that even a question? Dogs definitely, cats remind him of Miko XD.

Heizou: Dogs

He would train his dog to go investigate with him. Would get a dog who's good at sniffing.

Itto: Dogs

He thinks dogs are cooler and have a better vibe.

He probably had a dog when he was younger.

Mainly because of Tomo :( he finds them easier to deal with.

Pantalone: Cats

He would probably spin around in his chair with his cat in his arms (like those bald villains in cartoons).

He just does not like animals. Maybe a cat if you beg him enough.

He's like a grandpa who takes care of many cats.

Razor: Dogs

Again no explanation needed. He thinks they're nicer.

Scaramouche: Cats

He probably wouldn't like pets but cats suit his personality and style better.

It's honestly kinda obvious. He likes cats too but dogs just hit different for him.

Tighnari: Dogs

The dog would help him during patrols. But I feel like the dog would try to bite his tail all the time.

Venti: Dogs

He thinks dogs are nicer. Besides he's allergic to cats so :/

Xiao: Cats

Dogs have too much energy he thinks. He would get jealous of the cat if you pay it too much attention so make sure to divide your time properly.

Xingqiu: Cats

He thinks cats are more formal and graceful with fits his clan more.

Zhongli: Both

He thinks both are sweet and nice. Might own both of them.

Ok, my English is horrible (only warning, sorry).

I found this curious and entertaining reality. And I love it.I'd like the idea of seeing Little Scarlet (Diluc's now not sister or brother) interactions, having a crazy but comforting family with the heralds.

Whether Harlequin asks her to cook for the children at the orphanage who call her aunt.

The other female heralds kidnapping her from Dottore's older brother, for a day of shopping.

Big brother's weird relationship with Dottore, where he loves to teach her all about his work, like homeschooling. (sleeping in each lesson because although he says things like blood and others, his voice is very soothing to his past anguish and pain)

Pantalone as the older brother with the far-fetched plan to give his little sister a good life, hoping that Diluc will die single and get the vineyard.

Childe being the crazy lover who conquered her and every day deals with the obstacles of the older brothers who do not want her idiocy to spread to her girl.

Capitano being the proud guy to witness the large number of enemies killed by his little monster.

Pierro, the loving and attentive father.

The Czarina being the mother or grandmother with good advice.

And far away...

Diluc lamenting every day on his little sister's birthday, feeling worse than the worst scum for what she did that day. It would be quite a coincidence that the disaster happened on the day of the little scarlet's birthday.(I can't think of anything else... lol)

THIS, this is some juicy stuff.

Arlecchino will probably ask for help at the orphanage sometimes, both because it's a "quiet" place that almost looks normal, and because it's easier to teach reader the basics of survival. They burnt the kitchen at least twice but it's fine, at least it didn't blow up.

Then along with Signora, Columbina (bestie, tho she scares me) and sometimes Sandrone they'll literally drag them around Snezhnaya because BRO YOU CAN'T GO OUT DRESSED LIKE THAT- Signora will DISOWN you if she sees you with those clothes again.

Dottore ends up feeling all pissy about it, they're dragging away the only person who actually understands what he's talking about, though sometimes Little Scarlet (aAAA IT'S SO CUTE) falls asleep during his lessons. Don't worry, his 60cms iron ruler never fails to wake them up -and leave some lumps on their head but hey, we don't talk about it.

Pantalone funds their shopping sprees, and if he's free he'll join them. No Signora, that colour doesn't highlight their eyes, try this purple shirt he personally chose because it's his favourite colour . I can read it in his closed eyes, he's a fashionable man. Secretly keeps track on the winery's income, waiting for the day it'll go into Scarlet's pocket, upsie.

Childe, poor man. Risked his life for about five times a day while courting reader. He's fine though, he likes challenges, the other Harbingers trying to murder him getting in his way are part of the experience. Scarlet may or may not snitch him sometimes just to enjoy the sight (sadistic little shit).

Capitano who brings reader around with him, and is so chill about it. Meanwhile every other recruit is about to faint because holy shit both Capitano and the deadliest kid they've ever seen are walking their way? Scatter before they challenge you and kick your soul to the moon.

Pierro is Pierro, that's it. That's the post. Ultimate father-grandpa. While Pulcinella is THE grandpa. He canonically visits Childe's siblings soooo.

Scara hates them. Mostly because Scarlet loves to throw his hat like a frisbee. They almost blew up half of the HQ cause he wasn't having any more of their shit and started throwing lightnings LOL.

The Tsaritsa is the stoic motherly figure ofc, that meme "I only had Scarlet for a day and a half, but if anything happened to them, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself". Don't fuck anything up tho, cause she won't be mad, no. She'll give you the "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed" look and you're not sure you can live with that shame.

Diluc should take some brotherhood lessons from these guys LMAO.

I know, it's a bit messy, but it's so much stuff, I can't not post it. Thank you for the ideas, I'll organise them in a more serious post someday (maybe sdhejeh) and don't worry about your English, I don't know what I'm doing most of the time either 💃

I’ll do it in order of harbinger ranks LOL

Pierro - Pierro’s relationship with Childe is honestly like an annoyed worn out father with an energetic and excitable kid kind of relationship, he doesn’t hate Childe or heavily dislike him, he just thinks he’s too much to handle

Dottore - Dottore finds Childe to be extremely irritating and believes that Childe is constantly in the way of his work whenever he’s around

Columbina - Columbina finds Childe to be her close confidant and friend, she is arguably the nicest towards him

Arlecchino - Arlecchino finds Childe to be unserious and annoying, believing he isn’t taking his role as a harbinger seriously

Pulcinella - Pulcinella is basically like Childe’s grandpa figure, he’s like a mediator for the harbingers, doing his best to keep the peace and provide compromises, he sees Childe as a grandson

Scaramouche - Scaramouche basically holds the same views as Arlecchino does, but is way more open about his distaste for his fellow harbinger

Sandrone - Sandrone is one of Childe’s friends, but is not close to him, she often gifts things to him, as well as the other harbingers, handmade sculptures and robots, Childe, Pierro, Columbina, and Pulcinella are the only harbingers who don’t throw them away

La Signora - La Signora simply cannot stand the poor guy

Pantalone and Capitano (I’m grouping them together on this one) - Both harbingers feel pretty indifferent when it comes to Childe, they’d rather sit back with the popcorn and watch the chaos unfold

Now for Lumine and Aether’s personalities!

Lumine - For Lumine I want her to be extremely unfamiliar with the world at first, being somewhat fearful and very questioning of everything that’s happening (Which make sense cause homegirl just woke up with a really bad case of amnesia and has almost next to no clue on what’s going on) she eventually grows to be more knowledgeable and confident, she’s kind-hearted and does her best to seek the full unfiltered truth

Aether - Aether was a ray of sunshine before the cataclysm and separation, when he appears again, he’s beyond different, he’d jaded, cold, and cynical and believes that what he’s doing is for the greater good of Khaenri’ah, unaware of the disaster that will befall him and the former citizens

Babytorre and the Harbingers Headcanons

Since ya'll loved Babytorre, it's time for some headcanons while I keep writing my Babytorre fic! Some of these thoughts were included in some of my reblogs, but I'll be adding onto some ideas I had while brainstorming!

Pierro

-Confused grandpa energy

-"Do I hold it like this?" "...Please stop dangling him upside down."

-He's too polite to really tell the child to go away, so he just is stuck with it forever.

-Babytorre loves hiding in his coat, and Pierro has no idea what to do about it. He's so clueless with children that he usually just picks the child up and moves him away, until the child comes walking back and rehomes himself in the Harbinger's coat all over again. It's a cycle, and a painful one to watch for everyone else.

-He invited the clone to play chess once. The child had no clue what was going on the entire time. He just kind of moved the pieces and kept hearing the old man curse for some reason. Little did he know... He was somehow beating the master at chess without even knowing how to play.

-Pierro holds him by the armpits because he has no idea how to hold a child.

-The consequences of being a dilf.

Capitano

-Really chill with the child, actually.

-Probably the most trusted with the child's safety, as he takes it very seriously and is very good at keeping the child in a particular area.

-Usually just sharpens his sword or walks the child around the palace whenever he's left with it. Babytorre usually decides what they do, and it's just kind of a relaxing silence.

-He sometimes carries Babytorre on his shoulders, even if the kid is too shy to ask for it. The child really enjoys it, and often makes the up motion (you know what I'm talking about), and Capitano never complains. His helmet makes it a little awkward, but they figured it out somehow.

-He's the chill uncle.

-Babytorre really just chills around him because he has a calming energy and usually doesn't talk much. Which Babytorre really enjoys, especially when he gets to see all of Capitano's cool swords and stuff. He really likes Capitano's helmet too, he thinks it's really cool.

Pulcinella

-Also grandpa energy, but experienced grandpa energy.

-Yes, everyone trusts him the most with Babytorre. The Rooster is very reliable, as he somehow managed to keep Tartaglia in line without getting him killed somehow.

-Usually just muses about politics and Babytorre kind of ignores it. Most of the time, they're accompanied by Lyev, one of Sandrone's nanny-bots, and the bot keeps the child entertained.

-He really dotes on Babytorre, mostly because he doesn't see Dottore in the child, but just a scared and confused kid that's still trying to figure out who he can trust. Pulcinella always tells him that if he needs a place to hide or relax, he can always drop by his office or his room. Babytorre doesn't really understand all that well, but he has the spirit.

-He always tells the other Harbingers off for being rough with the child, mostly because he's afraid that Babytorre will get hurt with a bunch of adults roughhousing around him. Luckily, Arlecchino and Tartaglia manage to take it somewhere else after the one time they got their ears scolded off.

-He sometimes reads to Babytorre when the kid gets bored. Babytorre's favorite book for him is Rapunzel (he likes the witch voice).

Arlecchino

-She runs an orphanage, so she knows what she's doing.

-Though she's a bit loud, so Babytorre doesn't like her as much.

-She once gave him a knife. Babytorre can no longer have knives because of her. No one got hurt, but Pantalone almost had a heart attack.

-She really just thinks of Babytorre as another kid from the orphanage, but doesn't want to spend more time with him than necessary. She reminds him of Dottore too much, despite the two having very different temperaments. She's also a bit sour after being told off by Pulcinella, no one tells her what to do. Besides, the child was fine in that case, why does the old guy care so much?

-Babytorre usually keeps his distance from her, because he's heard how she yells. It hurts his ears a lot, and it's also scary. So he doesn't like going near her, it reminds him of the other clone.

-Overall, only give the kid to her if there are no other options. She's generally disgruntled because of how he stares at her like that. But she's a decent option, compared to some of the other ones.

Pantalone

-He's the (adoptive) father, so he's probably the best choice here.

-Knows how to deal with Babytorre, but also is Babytorre's favorite. As a consequence, whenever someone talks about him behind his back, Babytorre leaps to his defense. Which has led to several disagreements.

-He really does care about Babytorre. He hates the clown looking clone for hurting the child, especially after seeing it firsthand. And he also sees Babytorre as his own person, not as the precursor to the current Dottore.

-Overall, he just wants to give the child the life that he could never afford when he was younger. Seeing Babytorre struggling in the palace of all places, right under his nose while the treasury was pretty much bursting- It didn't sit right with him. So he decided to take on Babytorre because he felt bad, but also because the child was actually pretty cute, and very helpful. It's not a charity case if it's your kid.

-Tucks Babytorre into bed, sings him lullabies, tells him stories, helps him with his hair: he's the whole parent package. He uses his fancy hair products on Babytorre more often than he uses them on himself, just because that child has wild hair for some reason. Despite the Doctor not having it as bad. Genetics?

-Has spent the most money on a child, ever. Within the Harbingers, this has never been done before. Pantalone is happy to be the first.

-Melts whenever Babytorre is even vaguely cute.

Sandrone

-Built Lyev for Babytorre to keep him company.

-Overall, distant. She doesn't really like children, nor should be allowed around them. But her bots are very helpful in looking after him.

-He really likes ruin guards, so she often brings him close to the ones she's working on. He always likes tapping on them to "wake them up", which she secretly thinks is cute.

-Generally uninvolved, though she did program Lyev to be able to read up to 100 different books, all of which she took from his personal favorites.

-He sometimes sits in her lab and plays while she works. She doesn't mind, it's kind of cute to listen to his random child ramblings as he plays.

-Kind of like his estranged cousin.

Columbina

-Don't.

-She's literally the most fucked up in terms of childcare, keep the child far away from her.

-She once made him cry by crushing a butterfly and squeezing out its guts in front of him. Which is not a great example to go by, 0/10.

-Just likes terrorizing the child, which makes the other Harbingers somewhat angry. She says that it's "fun", even if the clone is crying hysterically and hiding from her.

-She tried to trick him into going outside alone at night, but luckily one of Dottore's other clones caught him before he could get hurt or lost.

-No one trusts her around the baby. No one.

Scaramouche

-Hates children in general.

-Wants to punt it, not hold it.

-Definitely on Babytorre's hit list, especially after the little disagreement they had.

-Still a child himself, really, so he's very petty.

-Tried to trip the kid one time. Now he's on not just the child's hit list, but half his coworker's too. And the other clones that have actually become quite attached to their new little companion that they never noticed before because he was always hiding. Scaramouche has to watch his back around the Lab, he might get "accidentally" stabbed in the back.

-He hates the fact that the child is probably going to be taller than he is.

-If hounded, he will begrudgingly admit that he does think the child is at least a little bit cute, but he's only told Tartaglia that. He does not trust anyone else with this information, and for a good reason. It could "ruin" him.

-Little hater.

La Signora

-Wasn't really there to meet him much, but heard a lot about him in her letters.

-Generally thinks he's chill, sometimes gives him little fire moths to chase around because she thinks it's cute.

-The whole reason the baby learned about fire potions in the first place, and why they became his favorite later on. She showed him all kinds of cool tricks with the ones she made, and he was very interested in all of them.

-Wine aunt energy.

-She often carries him on her hip, just because she can. He likes being carried.

-Babytorre reminds her of what she could've had with Rostam, which is part of the reason she treats him so well. He's also just really clueless, and she thinks it's funny.

-Babytorre tripped over her coat and faceplanted the ice one time. La Signora laughed so hard she nearly cried. She later had to apologize because baby's feelings were hurt (along with his face).

Tartaglia

-Loves the child so much.

-Babytorre reminds him of Teucer, so he tries to play and have fun with him as much as possible. And he's not all that bad at this whole kid entertaining thing. He really could be a toy salesman, if he tried.

-The only problem is that Babytorre hates him. Well, it's more that he's afraid of Childe.

-(It's because he's ginger)

-They tried to leave him with Childe for an hour at one point. Babytorre was crying the whole time, and was still crying when they got back. Childe has no clue to this day why the child doesn't like him.

-They eventually warm up to each other (through some Teucer intervention), and Babytorre begins gravitating to Childe whenever he wants to have some actual fun. This includes exploring the palace, checking out the stores in the main city, and always the best part: Babytorre nap time. Childe is overjoyed that the child finally trusts him.

-Older brother energy- but with a side of unhinged.

-He probably teaches Babytorre curse words in Snezhnayan and a few other languages. Unfortunately for Babytorre, Pantalone is fluent in Liyuen and nearly had a heart attack when he heard the child babbling about "motherfucking tax evaders" while reading his book. He was both proud and shocked.

-Childe definitely showed Babytorre his tiny narwhal once, and now Babytorre insists on seeing it every time they meet. He always watches it like he's never seen such a beautiful thing. Well, he hasn't.

-They go play pretend debt collection sometimes. Babytorre is a very mean debt collector, all the fatui he's vanquished pray that he's never going to become anything close to a ranking officer or a Harbinger.

Il Dottore

-Has a love-hate relationship with the clone.

-Babytorre is a mirror of his younger self, which he really doesn't like. But seeing Babytorre getting doted on and being clearly happy with what's happening to him... He's a little jealous, but he's also secretly relieved.

-Babytorre was never supposed to survive. That's Dottore’s own conclusion, drawn from the data that created the small thing that seems to not follow his same path. It also is much younger than necessary for a clone to live its natural lifespan, so he originally hypothesized that it would die within the first few weeks. It's been two months, and Babytorre is still going strong.

-The creation of Babytorre was one of Dottore’s greatest mistakes and miscalculations. Not in the familial way, but quite literally. An error in the math and supplements he was given while incubating (as well as his exposure to the growth serum) affected the size and age of the clone. As a consequence, he ended up coming out too young.

-He sees himself in the clone, but also hates that he wishes he had more when he was a child.

-Deathly afraid of scarring his clone's face too, so he keeps the baby far from the lab while he can.

-Reads to the clone in the shrill princess voice because it makes the kid laugh.

-He's still trying to figure out why Pantalone would be so kind to his clone, and what he did to not deserve that. Though he'll never admit to it.

For the Tsaritsa’s Handmaiden, I have some things to add.

Your particularly close with Pulcinella and it doesn’t go un noticed by the Tsaritsa & and the Harbingers.

Then somewhere after a meeting with the Tsaritsa( all 12 were present, Signora aint ashes yet, & Scaramouche didn’t dip) a harbinger (Either Pantalone, Il Dottore, Or Childe) they ask why Pulcinella was always seen with the Handmaiden and probably talks to him even though she was instructed to not be spoken till given permission from the Tsaritsa.

Then out of the blue he says that the Handmaiden is actually his Grand-daughter (Or adopted daughter).

And there, “Huh😀”

Turns out that Reader only got the chance to work at the Palace is bcuz she had relations, so there was someone that managed to snag her a spot and a recommendation. (And also Pulcinella wanted to keep a close eye at his only family member that he cares for dearly)

THEN BOOM, every harbinger mainly just talks to Pulcinella bcuz he has very close relationship with darling, since darling and Pulcinella only have each other for living family they try to get your favour by getting close with ur Grandpa or Dad figure.

(Obviously childe has a bigger chance for this one considering how he respects his elders and has him as a grandpa figure for his siblings, same with Scara cuz I hc him being extra nice to Pulcinella cuz he is kinda described as a grandpa and its canon scara has a soft spot for the elderly and kids)

-🌿

Papanella!!! He’s the sweetest father figure. I like to imagine the handmaiden is his adopted daughter or someone he took under his wing when she didn’t have anywhere else to go and no one to turn to. Like how he met Childe, he also happened upon you one day and has since taken care of you.

Now equipped with this information, the Harbingers are very ready to lay down friendly foundations in order to learn more about you via Pulcinella. Whether or not Pulcinella is willing to entertain them with stories of you is up for debate. It’s amusingly endearing that the Harbingers are so lively when it comes to you. He probably shares more with Childe for obvious reasons and I wouldn’t be surprised if Pulcinella secretly roots for you and Childe to get together or become close enough for friendship.

Ooh, I love the idea of Scara sitting down for tea with Pulcinella and the two of them sharing a conversation about the handmaiden. Scara seems so soft and comfortable in Pulcinella’s presence. He’s probably another one of the Harbingers who Pulcinella roots for. Scaramouche could use a dear companion to bring some warmth into his cold existence.

Pantalone has considered slyly bribing Pulcinella for information regarding you and your past. Dottore needs this information for his newest pet project. Colombina might pester Pulcinella occasionally, but if Arlecchino knows anything she’ll flit over to her. Capitano is silent as ever, but everyone senses he has some brimming curiosity. Signora has admired you from afar for a while now; it’s not often someone catches her eye and now she’d like to know more. Sandrone would never stoop to such childish levels. She’ll learn about you using her own methods, as she’s very capable of researching without the need for Pulcinella’s stories.

Pierro will sometimes find himself discussing you with Pulcinella. Both men admire your strength. It’s not easy to endure the stares of so many powerful individuals during the meetings. Pulcinella has definitely offered to grant you a vacation or—at the very least—bring it up to Pierro or Her Majesty. You’re deserving of a break. If you invite him to come along, he’s happy. You’ve always been a good-natured child, even in these lands of endless snow and ice. Just don’t let the others find out. They won’t be too pleased knowing Pulcinella gets to spend an entire vacation with you for father-daughter bonding. That could’ve been them bonding with you!

Wifey immediately sobs because they are so honoured their chaotic neutral adopted son felt they would be a good mom for his younger siblings. Especially when you consider the implications that Pulcinella taking care of Childe’s family is more like a hostage(?) situation, like they’re not captured but Childe had better stay in line or things might happen. The Tsaritsa gets another let like “I’m taking the kids again, xoxo Regina Sanguine.”

Do you expect all the Fatui Harbingers to be playable? Or just some of them?

You're asking me, the most delulu fatui fan? (Yes my silly little heart and brain are convinced they're all be playable) Though, the major problem is that the unspoken requirement to be playable in Genshin is that the character has to be friends or at least not hostile to the Traveler, which is erm... a problem for the Harbingers. So i am worried about that since i don't think all the harbingers should suddenly become good or have redemption arcs *cough dottore cough*

So yea as much as i hope they're all playable I'm keeping my expectations low as to avoid disappointment 😝😝 Though i am curious on how they'll make Pulcinella playable because we don't have any old man characters and i wonder if his sales would be super low cuz that's probably not appealing to the player base 😭😭 (i'd still pull because he's my grandpa) At the same time i do have hope they'll all be playable because there are playable villains/morally gray characters in Honkai so 🫠

Ranking the harbingers based on whether my parents would approve of them

Pantalone/Regrator - he's rich, charming, is a banker. My mum would be all for it. 100% seal of approval. He could cheat on me and she'd want me to stay with him for the financial stability

Childe - family man. They'd be a little concerned given his,,,,eccentric habits, but they'd warm up to him

Arlecchino - looks like she has her life put together much better than I ever could

okay so far pantalone, i’m just down bad for this man. not only is he pretty and rich but he’s also super ambitious and i think he just has a huge brain. like yes tell me your evil ideas. your plans on conquering the world. lets see how far your ambitions will take. i am curious tho on why he doesn’t have his vision yet, or if he’ll ever be able to have one. he’s mysterious and charming and i just looooove his character design. i feel like he’s a lot more ominous than he lets on so i’m very curious about him.

dottore is just perfect. i actually liked him ever since childe’s story quest bcos man is unhinged, experimental, and deadly intelligent. i want to see what else he can discover or try doing especially since they basically have deep pockets and nearly unlimited resources + power. beautiful man, as well. he’s just overall messed up but we love that <33 childe is a heavily mischaracterized character - i think this young man is so precious and misunderstood. he’s a good person deep down, a great brother and a family man. he keeps to his promises and is extremely loyal. strong and funny too. i actually would trust childe with my whole life.

arlecchino idk much about but her beauty blew me away. jaw dropped. breath taken away. columbina is also unhinged and i am highkey afraid of her - she’s unpredictable and is so calm in a scary way. i feel like she’d kill me if i breathed the wrong way. but also the fact that she’s such a high ranked harbinger makes me sooo excited to see how her role will play out. i want to know more about her the most and her connection to la signora. capitano is HOTTTT he gives me gentle big bear vibes and pierro is a dilf but... i know that man is freaky. he is not a cinnamon roll. scared of him tbh but more in a way where i’d just obey out of fear and be a loyal subject. would love to see more of the harbingers !!

this is good actually i'm in love with this more than with grandpa pulcinella, and it makes sense

but this also tells a lot about childe. he doesn't like his coworkers (apart from capitano? ig), he dislikes their mind games and shit, he knows the harbingers are always plotting and scheming, yet he thinks pulcinella is genuine about wanting to help him. this just confirms what we saw with his relationship (no matter how short) with zhongli too: childe is a very trusting person. once he likes you, you have his trust and gets angry if you betray that trust. this is very dangerous for him and i'm scared about his family, but it's also good drama fuel. let's wait and see what happens between pulcinella and him

also i don't think childe is dumb or simple minded. imo childe seems like someone that still tries to think good about/still tries to get along with people even in his line of work. he's still someone that craves companionship/he's still a family man at heart

An assumption of a connection I've noticed between the people in the act trailers and Pulcinella

They all have a form of control that can majorly affect their country/city

Diluc: 'Darknight Hero' that protects Mondstadt city while the better of the Knights of Favonius are away for fuck knows what and how long. Also a major head of the wine industry and has connections to get stuff done

Ningguang: Qixing of Liyue and head of all. Knows the ins and outs of business and literally nearly everyone would like her advice on how to get ahead in the game of profit and loss

Ayaka: A co-head of the Kamisato Clan and Yashiro commission that deals with cultural affairs. She herself may be restricted to her duties, but Ayato's limits surely aren't as much to his

Cyno: Mahamatra and one of the overseers of what work is being done by members of the Akademiya in Sumeru city. Literally has the right and duty to beat sense into the sages for their absurd plans

Then Pulcinella: Governs towns and 5th of Tsaritsa's harbingers. Known for finding a person's weakness and using it to uphold their loyalty to their line of duty

In some way and somehow, the first four get affiliated with us quite quickly and work together for a beneficial goal. Whether or not this base of a goal will truly be beneficial for the traveller in Snezhnaya is what I'm so excited for when we get to act 6. Rn I'm just wondering where we'll stand with people like Pantalone, Pulcinella, Arlecchino, Sandrone. At least 1 2 and 4, they seem indisposable with how important their role is, and Im intrigued on how traveller will reach s compromise with at least Pulcinella to get him what he wants and get a few steps closer to whatever the goal is

But then there's Fontaine and Natlan's trailer characters that make me question if my assumed correlation can truly follow. Those two for Fontaine remind me of olden day actors for the plays snd colourless television. I feel their importance may weigh with how much information they can get on people or they work with an underground organisation not dissimilar to The adventurer's guild when collecting info

And then the kid for Natlan. Someone pointed out that he's an elf, and that made me hope that they leads us to Alice. I also had the idea that maybe they could take us to meet some important elder elves? And after a quest or something they tell us to go meet the elf of Snezhnaya for more help — Pulcinella, who may be commonly known for his current position (someone said he could be Klee's grandpa lol)

Had to say this all before I sleep and forget cus I'm wondering if you have any ideas/assumptions on the trailer as well

honestly im not too invested in pulcinella so i don't know anything about him - tho to be honest i haven't read any of childe's voicelines about the harbingers, so im lacking info. im more interested in arlecchino and columbina :]

as for your theory, it could work still with fontaine and natlan. with fontaine's music theme and the aesthetic (beyond steampunk, i mean) + the title "masquerade of the court", it appears that lyney and lynette will hold great importance aside from the court of justice

which is a common theme with the featured characters, actually:

diluc isn't part of the kof. ningguang isn't an adeptus. ayaka wasn't exactly on the shogun's side; there's always some "rebellion" (to some extent), a form of good that's aside the most obvious form of authority in the nation.

and i think that's what the twins are gonna be. if we assume fontaine's lore is more or less inspired by france around the 18th century, masquerades were a pretty important part of french culture at that time. considering it's also linked with lying, hiding stuff etc (the masks, yk), it could be a crucial opposition to the hydro archon - once again, if we assume that the hydro archon's ideology is based on french revolution ideas

as for natlan, iansan is really interesting bc as you said she looks like an elf - however it could be a trick in her design, so i wouldn't be too excited. and layla also has pointy ears, so im not sure it'll even link to alice at all

however what sumeru has taught me is that a tiny gal can be of importance, and that's what makes me rly excited bc i could see iansan being in charge of the whole fight club thingy in natlan. i can't exactly remember what it is, but she looks like she's ready to throw hands so im just hoping that's the case. as for tying her with the rest of the featured characters, i don't know enough abt natlan tbh. i don't even know what's going on there, only that it's based on south america and that vennessa's clan comes from there. ALSO that murata could be a himeko expy so im slightly worried abt her design
