Least Favourite

Garou’s hair is ugly af it makes him look like an evil rabbit and it looks really knotted too, if you tried to brush it out the brush would break. I hope his hair is naturally styled like that because I refuse to believe Garou would purposely style his hair that way every morning before he goes hero hunting. Idk how anyone could take him seriously with hair like that.

I wonder how many jars of hair gel Lightning Max goes through a month when he styles his hair, it looks like a stiff dollop of cream on his head. Idk why but the hairstyle, plus the fact he’s blond and blue eyed makes me think of Tweety Bird whenever I see him. Garou’s hair is ugly, but Lightning Max’s hair is plain silly.

Tbh with Puri Puri Prisoner’s hair everyone I’ve met with this hairstyle I’ve hated. His hair reminds me of the annoying people at school who’d bully you and disrupt the class and that alone makes him worthy of being placed in this category.

Favourite Hairstyles

Tatsumaki’s hair is so pretty I love how it curls at the end and how it floats and bounces around her, especially when she uses her powers. To me her hair makes her look really classy, I really liked the look of her hair when she was first introduced.

Let’s not act surprised Flashy Flash is the King of Keratin and could probably be the face of Tresemme if he so wished. Here Murata really went out of his way to draw his hair as shiny and slick as possible even when he’s executing a double kill. Even when Flash’s hair is messy and gets in his face I still like it because I think it makes him look prettier.

You could argue that Okamaitachi and Garou have the same hairstyle and it’s unfair that I put his hairstyle in my least favourite category and Kama’s in my favourite. But the thing is Kama’s hair is actually nice. I like the slickness of curvature of hair, it actually looks like she takes care of her hair unlike Garou. I also appreciate the bangs clipped to the side and the loose stands at the front. Her hair is cute and eccentric, Garou’s hair only ticks one of those boxes.

Drive Knight’s hair is underwhelming when you first meet him, it makes him look like a weak, nerdy robot who gets zero robot bitches. But when you see him fighting with Nyan?? It’s like his hair had a glow up and now he gets all the robot ass he wants. It’s longer, more fluffy and luscious and makes him look more scary. I wonder if it’s real hair.

Bomb’s hair is bomb. That’s all I have to say.

WIP Wednesday

i would like to start this off by saying that this AU is entirely neha's fault. i threw an idea at her and it spiraled into a WIP because i have no self control and she's an enabler <3

Carlos messes with the material of the paper bag as he stands at TK’s door. “Can I come in? I bought stuff for pani puri, your favorite, and I thought we could talk?”

TK sighs, opening the door fully and letting Carlos in, “Baby, you have a key, why didn’t you just let yourself in?”

“I didn’t think you’d want me to, after the fight we had earlier.” Carlos sets everything down on the counter and pulls the can of garbanzo beans out of the paper bag, setting it on the counter. He roots through TK’s drawers, looking for a can opener and avoiding eye contact like his life depends on it. 

TK rests his hands over Carlos’s, forcing him to stop and look at TK properly, “Baby, we just fought, okay? Couples fight, and then they discuss it later and come to a compromise. That’s how relationships work.”

Carlos fidgets with the can opener he found, looking embarrassed. 

“Baby, seriously, what’s wrong?”

Carlos looks up, and to TK’s horror, his eyes are teary. “It’s just, I don’t think I particularly know where we stand right now. I've never done this,” he says, gesturing between them, “before and all I know is that I love you too much to ever fucking lose you, TK, I love you so much it consumes me."

TK draws Carlos into him, pressing their foreheads together. He blinks back his own tears, pressing a kiss to Carlos’s forehead and whispering, “we’re okay, baby, I promise. I love you, and we will figure this out. I love you too much to let this be what splits us apart.”

“Even if I don’t think I’m ready to come out yet? And maybe the fact that I might never be?”

“Oh, baby, don’t you know? Nothing ever stays the same? And even if it does, we’ll figure it out, okay? I’m done letting the universe and circumstance keep us apart anymore. We’ll figure it out, my love.”

Thanks for everything, Toriyama Sensei! I drew this Goku from memory. Like many, I learned to draw because of Dragonball! I'm devastated by the news of his passing, but I can't help but be happy and thankful realizing what his work means to me.

Toriyama Sensei's characters and worlds are so distinct and fun and cool. My love for Dragonball is everlasting, and I can't even begin to explain how much it inspires and influences my own work.

Akira Toriyama is one of my top favorite artists of all time. His legacy is immortal. What a blessing it is to have grown up with his work.

thank you so much!! this might just be burnout since i'm not able to write much lately, but i genuinely feel like i cannot imagine hawks as desi. it doesn't go for everyone, i could make a case for eren and jean from aot being desi and i have thought about that multiple multiple times. but keigo? hmm.

i think he moans when he eats pani puri (or gol gappe whichever you prefer). stuffs them in his mouth so fast you're anxious he'll choke but nope, he devours them one after the other with no problem at all

he also just likes really oily and sweet stuff in general that he knows is unhealthy but he can't stop himself from indulging. halwa puri, samosas, chaat, and sweets like rasmalai and gulaab jamun (he only likes kheer if there's nothing mixed into it, anything aside from pure rice pudding makes him gag)

he can't really play a dhol but knows multiple dholki songs that most people his age have never really bothered to learn

cannot dance. thinks he can dance. during shaadis people only cheer for him because he's hot

oh he also knows how to do mehndi, and he gives a lot of attention to detail. prefers the red mehndi. he has your hand in his lap while he draws it on you, genuinely will get pissy if you wash it off before the color sets in, and as long as it lasts the first kiss he gives you every morning is on the back of your hand where the henna is

diehard amitabh and aamir khan fan. his favorite aamir khan songs include ae mere humsafar, bum bum bole, yahan ke hum sikandar, koi kahe, and aati kya khandala. his favorite amitabh song is pardesiyan. but his all time favorite bollywood song is chaiyya chaiyya because he's incredibly basic

avid coconut oil user. likes putting oil on your hair too. has never once threaded his eyebrows

✿⁠ ➝ it's actually so easy for you to put sae's or rin's name in your mehendi, like usually i've heard people put in initials but honestly putting their entire name in is so easy and when you do it, your mehendi wali didi who's drawing his name in will definitely smirk at you like "kaun hai ye, hmmm?" [translation: who is this, hmmm?]

and when you finally do it and ask sae to find it (you didn't say his name was in ur mehendi, but just told him that there's a surprise thing he should try and find) he'll be so confused— but at the same time he finds this very interesting so he'll just take your hands and let his eyes wander over your palms with a blank expression. it takes him a few minutes because the way it's written is so small, but when he does find it, he's gonna give you the most incredulous look ever followed by a light shrug to play off the fact that his heart is beating really fast !!! ♡

"cute. i don't get why you did that, though."

"because i love you, sae." you huffed, rolling your eyes. "maybe i should replace it with somebody else's name if you don't get why i—"

"don't be stupid," he cuts you off with his low voice, before kissing the exact same spot on your palm where his name is as you caress his cheek right after. "only my name."

same goes for rin, except he's so much more flustered than his brother is !!!! the poor boy will take quite a lot of time to find the "surprise" you were talking about, because obviously he knows nothing about mehendi and you really just told him to go in blind— you'd have to show him yourself. when you do, he'll kinda go stiff at first as he reads the three letters of his name, and then look up at you with this adorable expression that makes your heart race.

"....that's my name." he says, a confused yet surprised tone to his voice as he looks at you with slightly wide eyes.

"yup," you giggle, continuing to point at the tiny writing on your palm as you stare at him with loving eyes. he bites his lower lip gently, running his fingertip over the skin. "people usually hide their lover's name in their mehendi and i wanted to do it with yours." you explain softly.

his reaction is too cute. the way he can't find anything to say in response to this is enough to satisfy you and make you feel happy. "i like that. does it, like, stay forever?"

"no, baby." you laugh. "mehendi goes away in days. it depends."

"oh, okay," he nods. "makes sense, but i kinda want it to stay there forever. can you get it done again or something?" his eyes shine with admiration as he asks with a slightly smug expression. he likes the idea of his name on your skin a little too much, it seems.

✿⁠ ➝ also, teaching reo bollywood dance moves ?!? yes. he surprisingly has— makes time for it. he's all in. will definitely be a tease about it, though— especially when you're teaching him how to 'thumka' jsnshdbsjd im blushing like hell rn. he will definitely stare at you with some type of look when you do it— and he might even feel tempted to just hold your waist as you show him the move. (he probably gives in to the temptation very quickly, reo can't really control his hands that well).

"damn, i didn't know you were that good with your hips—"

"reo!"

✿⁠ ➝ having pani puri competitions with rin?!?!?? he would get the spiciest one and 100% tease you if you ask for sweet or medium !!!!! he will find it hot if you have a high spice tolerance i think ;) also if you're eating pani puri in general, he'd be the type to eat like two from his plate and tell the pani puri guy to give the rest to you :( ALSOOOOO oh my god. if the pani puri water drips down your chin (it's happened to me before don't judge) he would already be wiping it off for you. also he will move away annoying strands of hair that are interrupting your pani puri session. (kinda gives me easily annoyed gf and chill bf vibes) has the guy give you a sukhi puri before you can even ask !!!!!!! ⁠♡ and if you want to go eat golas right after, he's all for it !!!! you have to guide him w the flavours though, telling him like "ok we hate this flavor but this other flavor is our bestie." and he's gonna nod and try whichever one you like the most. (my bestie is kala khatta HEHE)

✿⁠ ➝ ALSO DHWNJDSKKDMF i would DEFINITELY say some things to sae in hindi. because i am shy, and also because he's so fucking intimidating that honestly i don't want to compliment him to his face. whatever you say, he'll be like "what?" because obviously he doesn't understand and after a while as you continue to speak to him and compliment him in hindi with your shy smile, he gets super super super irritated because he can't understand and he wants to know what you're saying about him so bad. he wants to hear your compliments. your voice is so sweet and soft and the way you look at him as you talk in your language makes him feel things— he wants to know !!! he would remember some words and search them up later to piece it together (but instead of making the guy do so much work, just translate, pls) when he finally gets to know some of the things you said to him in hindi, he'll have to look away to stop himself from kissing you ♡

Today is 3rd day of Panchuka. I got bored with the traditional muruja (rangoli) designs and wanted to draw something different today.

So, I recreated a photo I had previously seen on Pinterest.

Today is also Bada Osha and it is the main festival at Dhabaleswar Temple.

Dhabaleswar Temple is located on an island on Mahanadi River, few kilometres away from Cuttack. After Puri and Cuttack Chandi Temple, it is my favourite place.

Before my mom's retirement, she used to ask one of her colleagues to bring the 'Gaja Bhoga', special bhog of Bada Osha from Dhabaleswar. But now, we get the bhog only when my brother visits the temple. He doesn't have any such plans this year.

As usual I collected muruja pics from everyone.

He talked about his inspirations and what made his decision to become a manga creator easier, such as a childhood appreciation of Doraemon and his apprenticeship with the manga creator Takeshi Obata, best known in the US for his work on the title Death Note. When pressed for his favorite character, besides the obvious selection of Kenshin himself, Shishio was a close second. People kept on wanting to talk about the anime, especially Watsuki’s involvement in it, not only of the Rurouni Kenshin series but the one of his most recent series Buso Renkin that has yet to be shown on Japanese television.
