PRIDE PROMPT: Baking and Candles

Snapping her fingers, a few sparks fly out as a small flame appears at the tip of her finger. She extends her hand towards the unlit candles beside her, all seven lined up, and swipes her finger across the top of them, setting alight each candle smoothly.

The woman looks to be around her mid 30ths, wearing a simple tank top underneath her pastel yellow apron, with her caramel hair tied into a low bun. She shakes her hand to put out the fire on her finger and watches as the intricate carvings on the candles glow, starting from the top and spreading downwards. She smiles as she senses the magic flow through the carvings and gives life to the inanimate objects.

They start to glow brighter and hotter, to the point that it melts the wax. The candles slowly take shape as they melt, taking the form of small wax humanoids, the candle flame burning on top of their heads. The carvings disappeared once the process was complete.

“Hello, little guys!” She smiled at her small creations, giggling a little when they responded in different ways; some waved while some jumped, all very excited with how the flames on their head burned brighter. “Now, mind helping me a little with this?” She gestured over to her kitchen countertop, the essentials needed to bake the cupcakes were already laid out.

All seven waxlings (what? It’s cute) either nodded or saluted to her words, moving towards the baking set up with their tiny legs. These little guys are always so cute, she thought. She moved over to finally start making those cupcakes.

Time passed as the witch and her little helpers baked. They were almost done with the cupcakes, all she needed to do now was frost the baked goods, maybe add some toppings, and she’d be all done.

“Mom?” The mother turns away from the countertop to face her little girl, who’s peeking her adorable head inside the kitchen. “Are you making cupcakes?” Sirisha’s eyes practically sparkle at the idea of there being cupcakes, always the sweet tooth.

“Yes, your favorite ones, actually.” She said, gesturing over to the unfrosted cupcakes. “In fact, I was just about to do the frosting,” she grabbed two piping bags, outstretching one of them to her daughter, “would you care to help?”

Sirisha didn’t have to be told twice. She beamed at the invitation and rushed over, taking the plastic bag—the one with the pink frosting—and made her way to frost the bare cupcakes. The other chuckled a bit at her daughter’s excitement and moved to help with the frosting.

The waxlings also tried helping too. Unfortunately, they were too small to lift the bags over the cupcakes, so they just left the humans to do the frosting as they played around with each other.

Day 4 - Baking. Sorry this is late y'all. Timezones are weird. Anywho, Killer and Dust trying to bake (and failing before they even began)

" I want browniesss!" Killer whined, clinging to Dust's leg.

"Boy, go to the store and get some then."

"But Dustyyy, I'm lazy!"

"Fine! Fine, we'll bake some, 'kay?"

"Yasssss!" Killer launched himself off of Dust and blindly ran into a wall. He shook his head and ran into the kitchen.Dust shook his head with a chuckle.

"Yeah, he's an idiot, Paps. You're right about that."

"Am not!!" 

 "Are too, don't you dare try to argue on that."

"At least I didn't explode the west wing of the castle."

"You switched my base with a highly reactive acid. So yeah, you did." Dust sighed and gave Killer 'the look'.

"Yeah yeah, give me the flour." Killer smirked.

"I'm not giving you that."

"Why nootttt?"

"You'll make a mess, Kills. No."

"Give it to me!" Killer tugged on the bag.

"No way!" Dust tugged back.T

he two kept bickering at each other, tugging the bag back in forth til-

RIIIIP! POOF-

The flour bag ripped and exploded all over the two skeletons. They say there, stunned to say the least before bursting into a fit of laughter and falling over. They had to be laying there, for like, years laughing. (It was only 30 seconds-) 

"Oh my god- y-you idiot!" Dust laughed.

"I'm the idiot? You are, dummy!"

"No you!"

"No you are!"

"You both are idiots." A deep, rich, booming voice sounded behind them. Nightmare, standing at the entrance of the kitchen, stared at them vexed. "Clean up this mess at once."

"Aw come on Noot Noot, who's gonna be upset? It's just flour." Killer waved it off.

"I am not the one who will be upset that his precious kitchen is a mess. Oh, he will be home in 2 minutes by the way."

Killer and Dust stared at each other for a few seconds before launching off the floor screaming: "SHIT-"

So I never planned on getting Pirate Warriors 4 cause Garp isn't playable. Had complained that PW 1~3 had a playable Garp and 4 doesn't!? How unfair! This game series (PW2) got me my OTP!

Aaand a few days ago, guess who announced the new set of playable characters on the 28th?

And I bought PW4 right away in Steam (with 19 hours remaining on sale!) so I can be ready to greet him on release day!🥲💜

One more funny PW4 moment but during story modes, you CAN do a local coop, so I played w my sister and we did Marineford together. anywya she kept stealing the character I wanted every single subsection so I accidentally became a Crocodile main 😭😭😭 he + Luffy were the ones most consistently around as options and I didn’t wanna play Luffy so. HRHFHD

man she rlly said suffer the full brunt of ace dying huh 😭.
