Murph deserves so much more credit as a DM than he gets. I know it's partly because podcasts aren't as flashy, but the fact he (as of the episode I'm caught up to anyways, still in early Eldermourne) edits the podcast, and makes it seem so seamless is so impressive. The switch from in person to over zoom during Covid was so fucking seamless I didn't even notice. All while also DMing!

This doesn't even begin to mention all of the bonus patreon content.

It also makes me appreciate some of his earlier D20 characters, which I always felt like were understated compared to some of the other cast members. And now I get it, poor man was trying to throw Brennan a bone, because he *gets it*.

honestly the sexual aspect is the biggest roadblock for me... i can see jarty when they're used as narrative foils to the explore the contrary but equally warped relationship that they both have to Service & Devotion. but to me it's one of those insane gritty subtextual queerbait situations where they clench their jaws and hold sustained eye contact but never touch.. perhaps they have a soul-rending moment where one of them grabs the other's shoulder once

i see them both as service tops who want someone pretty to roll their eyes at them so i'm like.. what would they even do with each other.
