You, on the other hand, are spoiled with a new dress for each and every event. Your hair and makeup is done, your jewelry glittering in the warm yellow glow of the banquet hall's chandelier. You're smart and witty and charming, just like your husband, and the benefactors at every event are never not enamored with you. You and Hiromi are generous donors, but your humility and kindness are what win people over time and time again.

i’m going to be starting a job soon where it looks like almost all of my coworkers/bosses are going to be cis women and i am…terrified. especially since this is the job i’m going to have to get time off from for top surgery.

if there’s one thing i’ve learned over the almost ten years of my transition, it’s that a situation where i’m the only guy there is one where my gender is guaranteed to not be respected. it really feels like far too many cis women realize they’re alone with a trans man and just see it as an opportunity to act out some sort of power fantasy where they get to stick it to the big bad evil men by taking out their anger on the first man they see without the power to fight back. that or they decide you’re “just one of the girls” and will not hear otherwise, but honestly, given where i’m at in my physical transition, i have a feeling the former is more likely.

there was a time when i felt safer around cis women than around cis men, but now it’s just a different kind of threat.

#a lot of them are also. let’s say a very specific kind of cis woman #because of who this kind of job attracts #as a trans man but also as a disabled and mentally ill person…im not optimistic about how it’s gonna go #i was already deadnamed and misgendered throughout the physical for the job bc their system has no way to handle preferred names or anything #so uh. not looking too great right off the bat and im sure that’s just the beginning #it’s not a job im super jazzed about in general bc it’s in a setting that i have Lots Of Problems With and never wanted to work in #but a bitch needs money so. gotta suck it up and deal with a few months of transphobia ableism and general cognitive dissonance #i love capitalism! it’s so fun and cool and quirky! If you aren’t aware, the term ‘fujoshi’ literally means rotten girl. It is used by girls who consume yaoi/bl content. They are calling themselves ‘rotten’ or ‘sinful’ for enjoying gay content. This is an issue, and if you are in fact capable of critical thinking I’m sure you can see why.

I want to be entirely clear with this: I do not have an issue with girls/non-mlm consuming mlm content. That is not a problem AT ALL. There are a lot of really good mlm stories and character out there and they should be appreciated. The issue comes when non-mlms start writing or romanticizing awful, abusive relationships in fiction just because it’s mlm. The biggest example of this I can think of is Killing Stalking, a mlm webtoon that showcased an absolutely horrid relationship.

It also becomes an issue when these non-mlm fujoshi (or whatever version of the term they decide to use) start carrying this mlm obsession over into the real world. There are countless stories of mlms being asked if they’re a ‘uke’ or a ‘seme’ after revealing their relationship or sexuality. There are hundreds of accounts of non-mlms obsessively shipping boys from their schools just because it’s gay and they think they’re so quirky and silly and goofy for it. Shipping real people is weird. Shipping real people just because it’s gay is weirder.

You should not be proud to call yourself a ‘rotten girl’ for liking mlm ships. Viewing mlm ships and people solely as a twisted form of entertainment is not support or allyship.

And if you’re a trans/non-binary/gender-questioning/etc person who’s using mlm content to explore your own gender and sexuality, that is okay! There’s nothing wrong with using content to figure that out because again, there is nothing wrong with non-mlms consuming mlm content as long it isn’t only harmful content or you aren’t bothering real people with it.

I can’t stress that point enough. Consume and create all the kinds of content you like! mlm content isn’t solely for mlm people! That being said, if you find an account that’s labeled as mlm only, don’t be an asshole and respect that. Some places are simply meant for support and as safe spaces. Just don’t cross any boundaries, don’t romanticize toxic and abusive relationships, and leave real people alone. And for the love of the stars, don’t call yourself a ‘rotten girl’ for enjoying mlm content or refer to your favorite mlm ship as ‘sinful.’ That’s just all kinds of harmful.

yes ofc :) I love the remedial course squad it’s so funny to see bakugo be a bit overwhelmed with them, I also like his friendship with jirou and would love to see more of them like she’s kind of coy but also rlly cool and they might have some common interests idk their friendship is so cute, and shoto ofc but I talk about their dynamic pretty often

For deku, I love his dynamic with Mei and would love to see more, I can see them as future colleaguesssss, I would also like to see more of deku and toga idk there’s sm to unpack, I enjoy deku in every constellation tbh
