I used to fucking despise Lucien but after bearing with it he has become my favorite custom follower. My hatred mainly came from me soft locking his quest by managing to save when I was about to hit the boss... so yeah, my fault for not saving but I still blamed him for the hour of my life wasted.

I don't know what changed but I just adore him now, and I love Joseph Russell's work! I'm very inspired to start making my own custom follower with their tutorial videos once I decide I have time to take such an intense project on.

#if you're trying to do outlaw shit does it make sense to have an Outfit and therefore be semi-identifiable. probably not #but also: it looks rad and i can do whatever i want so it doesn't have to be realistic #this is also sort of just a vague scribble of an adapted version of their old outfit that i designed in...2017...? #which i'm not sure how attached i am to that i think it's more just this starting point of 'this is how the character looks in my brain' #like i said. first pass #but i DO think i'll be keeping the lighter colors and general black/beige/grey color scheme #i do need to do more consideration as to what role onris plays in the story. and their own backstory as well #they're in a sort of limbo where i know the general vibes and role but don't have any specific scenes i really envision yet #honeybee #art #onris

i watched tokyo godfathers and while i didn't personally mind the... choice language/slurs surrounding hana since the movie did come out in 2003, i would be so curious to know if it's an issue with the translations, the actual japanese word choices, etc.

i would like to rewatch it sometime so i might check out a more modern sub/dub in case it's a little easier to recommend to ppl ja;klkskdjf but yeah, basically i rly wish i knew japanese so i could get a better idea of how the original treated hana's gender.
