Reading 60s comics are just "the most insane plot you could imagine," "better characterization than anything post 2010," "the most racist thing you have ever read in your life," "actually fairly good women writing," "freak writer," "the best art you have seen," "10,000 narration plot" and "the most insane plot you could image 2: the electric boogaloo"

I love your unhinged energy of your comics it's just *chef's kiss"
I wanna ask how you rig your chibi characters if you use a program or an app ಥ‿ಥ
thanks! 💚💜💚
I use Spine (professional version)! I'm pretty sure it's the same program the Twst devs use for the chibis; I decided to try reverse-engineering 'em basically because my license was just sitting around gathering dust, and I thought it'd be fun practice (this was before I tried to rig Meleanor's cape). it is an industry-standard program and, unfortunately, is priced accordingly, so it's a bit expensive if you're not planning on using it professionally -- there is a free trial, though I think you can't save/export anything in it? BUT it is truly excellent and can do a ton of super cool stuff, plus is genuinely just fun to mess around in, so I 10000% recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting into 2D rigging!
behold...the BONES...Najma and her billion discrete tassels...don't pay attention to all the extra bones from my desperate attempts to control Meleanor's meshes

dean needs to complain about castiel's big beautiful cow eyes whenever he wants something/is in a situation/has just been yelled at more i think. because like he literally looks at you like 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺. wtf is that. lost comedy potential yet again. every time he's about to confront this guy he covers his eyes like he's walking into the eclipse or something. serious conversation going on, and you turn to close up on dean's face and he's just like looking up. MORE CARTOON comedy!!! pls!!!

The Wheelers being the Wheelers and Mike being invisibly gay all fits so nicely together it’s so nice, it’s so so delicious thinking about how Mike feels. I just wish more people could see Mike’s experiences as they actually are because it’s actually- it’s making me insane, I’m laughing like a maniac and screaming, crying, throwing up.
Please people. Let go of depicting the Wheeler’s like the Byers, let go of depicting Mike’s experiences to be identical to Will’s, let go of all of that and take my hand so I can show you why the Wheelers and Mike’s experiences are actually worthy of us ripping out our hair over them😌

I never really share anything personal on here because I'm a pretty private person, but there's something so profound about getting passed down my Grandpa's old camera collection.
Like what do you mean he took pictures of my Grandma with them 30+ years ago? That the A-1 Canon that's now in my room was the camera that took my parents' wedding photos? I stuck a roll of film into the same place he did? The thought of him loving photography as much as I do is the most tear-jerking emotion I've ever experienced even if we're not that close.
I just got the A-1 Canon working again after upwards of 20 years of being unused and sitting in a cupboard. Hearing the shutter go off as I took a picture of my dog was something special, and I don't even think I can describe it in a way that makes sense. It was like I was holding my own family history in my hands.
I was genuinely surprised it was in such good condition in the first place - I barely had to do anything other than look over it to make sure nothing was broken and mess with a few areas of concern. My grandpa kept his A-1 in immaculate condition despite his pretty bad health; the same with his other cameras as well.
As much as I want to keep them all in a glass case and have them stay perfect, I can't imagine not using them the same way he did. Of course, up until I have to retire them for my own kids to use one day in just as pristine a state.
