FINAL for real this time: Davis (Juror 8) from Twelve Angry Men vs the Bimodal Distribution from statistics
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda under the cut, and it's REALLY worth it:
Davis (Juror 8) (these are all from the single submitter)
a quick lil list babes, and I apologise for all of this in advance:
He's from the fucking film 12 angry men. like, aside from letterbox bootlickers and middle school hass students NO ONE has watched this film let alone care about it, it was made in 1957, is shot almost exclusively in one room and the entire film is just middle aged white men yelling at each other over whether some not white poor kid should be sent to the electric chair. what the fuck.
Henry Fonda, the actor, was 52 years old at the time of filming
Henry Fonda is the father of Jane Fonda, the woman who would revolutionise the 80's with her home workouts and her blindingly neon leg warmers.
His name wasn't revealed until the very end of the film and even then it's just "Davis."
I could honestly give him a lil smooch
He's absolutely not girlypop but he's the ally-iest ally who's ever allied
He's categorised as a "Benevolent Leader" on the Heroes Wiki
instead of the overwhelming urge for me to coddle him like most all other blorbos, i would appreciate it switched
I have a photo of him inside my saxophone case and sometimes i forget he's in there, then he creeps into my saxophone bell and when I play it he shoots out like a ballistic missile
Dude, on ao3 there's more fanfiction about the real life 80's British punk band The Clash than the entire film of 12 angry men, let alone Davis (80 fics come up under the clash, while 10 come up for 12 angry men)
I have a counter, and I've watched 12 Angry men a total of 145 times. The figure is up on my wall in tallies. whenever the number goes up, I like to watch it in 5's so then I can put another full group of tallies on my wall.
I have incredibly detailed stories about how Davis would boogie down to ringo starr's solo career, and they're written within the margins of a book called Tobruk written by Peter Fitzsimons. The only reason I reread that book is to wonder at my elaborate works of fiction
My HASS teacher was the one to introduce me to 12 Angry Men as he played it for the entire class. He gave us a set of questions to complete on the film and a few Law based questions as a little treat, and he expected it to be handed in the next day. What he didn't expect was an 11 page monster of a response that included social commentary, 4 paragraphs dissecting the character of Davis alone, deeply discussed comparisons between the landscapes of politics and law in the 50's to the present, and basically an entire point-for-point summarisation of the film, completed with obscure quotes from Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon and Presley (Elvis). He presented the printed masterpiece in front of the entire class to shame me.
After class he explained how his favourite Juror would either be 6 or 5, because 6 seems like a big dumb teddybear and he just liked 5. I explained how I liked Davis because he didn't want to send a kid to die, then he told me how Davis would make a good cowboy (at this point in time I was unaware of Henry Fonda's role in Once Upon A Time in The West) and I proceeded to go home and write a 3 part orchestral composition that I could pretend would play as the soundtrack to Juror 8: A Cowboy's Tale or something like that
I had started to make an animation meme starring Davis but only gave up when photoshop literally deleted itself from my laptop
I didn't even hear that Juror 8's name was Davis when I first watched it in class, somehow I only heard it on my 6th rewatch but when I did I literally got so excited I literally got winded and cried a little bit, I had to take a panadol because I got so lightheaded
I have learned the musical motif that plays throughout the film on saxophone, clarinet, recorder, guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and trumpet
I have visions of him
One of Davis' 3 children HAS to be gay and nothing can convince me otherwise
honest to god I'd be a home wrecker if it came to him
I quote not only Davis but the film a lot, and sometimes in the dead silence of all my friends I go on about how the old man couldn't have possibly made it to the door in such a short amount of time to see the kid running down the stairs (because the old man has a limp, and Davis proved it my limping around the room, which I have to say was incredibly attractive of him)
He's literally an architect
I once had a dream where Davis was in my bass guitar case when I opened it, and i literally just picked him up and started picking him like a bass guitar until I tried to play a full chord and he bit the hand that was meant to be on the fretboard. I dropped him and he fell on his ass, and when I said "what the hell dude what was that for" he said bass chords are lowkey ugly to listen to, and since then i don't like playing bass chords because now they're lowkey ugly to listen to. before this ordeal, i enjoyed them, but alas
i once got my romantic partner to write me a davis x reader fanfiction as a birthday present
my parents believe that Davis is my first celebrity crush, and while they're actually wrong it's still actually so embarrassing they believe that because OH MY GOD it's literally JUROR 8 FROM 12 ANGRY MEN
I've attempted slam poetry about him
I've eaten a paper printed full a4 size photo of his hand
I would also not mind him to be literally my father, but given the rest of the things I've just said about him that's really weird and I recognise that
the Bimodal Distribution
First of all, it's a math concept. that is already pretty bizarre of a thing to be blorbo-ifying. Second of all, I don't know any calculus, and I don't consider myself a math person (because I hate arithmetic), but I really like this guy for some reason. I mean this graph clearly holds the secrets of the universe. don't you just want to l o o k at it . like you could solve everything in the world with that boy

Ringo's Fish 'N' Chips Recipe
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From Mary Frampton & Friends Rock & Roll Recipes, 1980.
There are two closely adhered-to customs in Ye Merry Olde England—both Guy Fawkes Night and New Year's Eve are spent at Ringo's! It's quite probable that I won't see his guests until the same time, same place next year but they're guaranteed to turn up for these two highly important occasions. Guy Fawkes Night is the children's special treat, but the age of the "children" is extremely flexible! Ringo presides over a gigantic bonfire and a fabulous display of fireworks. An enormous party follows which becomes a competition to see whether the kids can outlast the "grown-ups." The kids usually win, of course! New Year's Eve is very special, even more so for a northerner from Liverpool. Certain customs must be respected to bring good luck to the household for the coming year. Everyone piles out of the house, holds hands in a circle, and sings "Auld Lang Syne." Then there follows kissing with gay abandon. Then Ringo, as the host, stands at the front door and welcomes each guest back into the house. Everyone carries a piece of coal and a piece of bread, handing them to Ringo on the way indoors. This is a sign that the house will be blessed with enough fuel and food for the coming year. After that, anything goes! Most of the time, Ringo is resident in Los Angeles. So it will be interesting to see what happens on those two special days in the future. I have a feeling that everyone will turn up as usual. Old habits die hard.
Ring's talent as an actor emerged during the filming of the various epics starring the Fab Four. Although excellent in their own way, none of the films were exactly "heavyweights," and although Ringo has had parts in several films since, I would still love to see him pay a role he can really get his teeth into. He obviously has a lot of untapped talent in that sphere. He's still one of the best drummers in the world and loves to help his mates out on their various gigs. An example of this was his appearance at the Band's Last Waltz Concert. Another was years ago. Ringo and Maureen (they were still married then) came over to dinner and I managed to cook something without onions or garlic, neither of which Ringo eats. After dinner, we all went upstairs to the living room and Peter [Frampton] sat down with his acoustic guitar and played a song for Ringo and Maureen called "The Lodger." Ringo loved it and said he'd be delighted to play on the track if Peter recorded it. He did, and he did! It came out on Peter's first solo album, Wind of Change. What a long time ago that was. We've all gone our separate ways but I'm relying on Ringo's twice-yearly dates for us all to get together again.
RINGO'S FISH 'N' CHIPS
INGREDIENTS
Fish Chips
METHOD
Get in your car, or walk, whichever the case may be. Travel to your local fish and chips shop and ask for cod and chips. Add salt and vinegar to taste. Eat with fingers for best results—I do! 'Bye.

Richard Hamilton Swingeing London 67 poster and Beatles 68 poster
Text from Andrew Wilson's Swingeing London 67
The [Beatles] poster, described by Hamilton as a 'give-away' print, was the result of a fairly complex design process that took about two weeks to complete, with daily visits from Paul McCartney, the one Beatle who worked directly with Hamilton on the project and who had prior knowledge, through[Robert] Fraser, of Hamilton's work--he had earlier bought one of the Solomon R. Guggenheim (1965) screenprints from the 1966 exhibition of the series that he had helped hang.
This relationship gave Hamilton the freedom to develop his idea for the poster and the whole design project without interference from the other band members, Yoko Ono, or the record company.
The poster shows George Harrison, John Lennon, McCartney and Ringo Starr as distinct individuals. This is in sharp contrast to the individual John Kelly portraits, in which the similarities of pose, gaze, and lighting, conforming to the aesthetics of of a record company's publicity department, portray them as members of a band.
The seemingly casual pinboard aesthetic by which these informal photographs were arranged was determined primarily as a solution to crucial design issues (echoing his decision to order the collage for Swingeing London 67--poster as newspaper columns, with headline at top left).
The sheet had to be folded three times in order to be inserted into the square album sleeve, and this obliged Hamilton to approach it as 'a series of subsidiary compositions. The top right and left-hand square are front and back of the folder and and had to independently stand as well as be a double spread together. The bottom four squares can be read independently and as a group of four. They all mate together when opened up and used as wall decoration.'
The top left-hand panel is what is seen first, and it presents the songwriting duo of Lennon and McCartney. Lennon is shown in blue light, singing. The image has probably been taken from a television screen, and the attendant distortion and blue glow are unflattering.
The image of Lennon overlays the bottom right corner of an equally unusual portrait of McCartney in a bathtub, his head half submerged, soapy suds giving him a halo. Running beneath the two portraits is a fabricated contact strip that includes an image of Lennon in front of one of his wall drawings; the band in a recording session...in which they are, unusually, playing brass instruments; and a colour image from the recording of 'Hey Jude' (1968).
This sense of fragmentation, of hidden codes and messages, echoes both the 'guarded privacy and locked rooms' and the 'disturbing, dreamlike darkness' that have been identified in the album, inviting the fan to imagine the band members' private worlds, and hinting at the beginning of the band's disintegration.
The dominant image of the poster's top right panel, opposite Lennon and McCartney, is of George Harrison. This portrait casts him in a mystical, otherworldly and contemplative light, with the right side of his face obscured and out of focus....
There are very few collective photographs of the band: playing in recording sessions or in filmed concerts; with Harold Wilson after they had each received the MBE; and a sequence of them doing the 'business' as they re-sign their contract with EMI.
Instead, the poster emphasizes the individual activities of John, Paul, George and Ringo around the time of the collage. Starr is shown with his co-star from the film Candy (1968), Ewa Aulin, and also dancing with Liz Taylor (wife of his other co-star in the film, Richard Burton). Lennon is shown becoming the working-class hero. Yoko Ono appears just twice: in a self-portrait by Lennon of the naked couple, and in an image of a naked Lennon sitting cross-legged in bed talking on the phone, as its stretched cord cuts her out-of-focus head in two--cancelling her identity.
Of the band, it is McCartney who emerges as the poster's dominant figure. Hamilton has said how The Beatles contains 'arcane touches which only The Beatles' more intimate associates were likely to smile at,' and yet such details--such as the doubled image of a shut door or McCartney 'pole dancing' both naked and clothed--are not at the cost of the poster's legibility. At its centre is the reverse of a photograph, a gift to one of the band, bearing a lipstick imprint and a groupie's imploring words: 'I love you.'
In all this, Hamilton's fundamental aim for The Beatles was that it should reach a large audience and be as accessible as the cover design was remote. This was not a new subject for Hamilton. My Marilyn had already adopted, three years earlier, the motif of the publicity photograph and the manipulation of celebrity image as a subject. What is different here is Hamilton's direct participation in popular culture: The Beatles, like Swingeing London 67--poster, shows him not only constructing work with a subject that revolves around the manipulation and production of pop celebrity imagery, but also inserting these works into the mass circulation of popular culture.
--Andrew Wilson. Bold mine.

The singer Lonnie Donegan was born on April 29th 1931 in Bridgeton Glasgow.
Donegan was born Anthony James Donegan, the son of a Scottish father and Irish mother. His father was a professional violinist who had played with the Scottish National Orchestra.
He moved with his mother to London at an early age, after his parents divorced. Inspired by blues music and New Orleans jazz bands he heard on the radio, he resolved to learn the guitar, and bought his first at the age of fourteen. He took his first name after a New Orleans blues singer he admired called Lonnie Johnson.
The first band he ever played in was the trad jazz band led by Chris Barber, who approached him on a train asking him if he wanted to audition for his group. Barber had heard that Donegan was a good banjo player; in fact, Donegan had never played the banjo at this point, but he bought one and managed to bluff his way through the audition. His stint in this group was interrupted, however, when he was called up for National Service in 1949.
In 1952, he formed his first own group, the Tony Donegan Jazzband, which found some work around London. On one occasion they opened for the blues musician Lonnie Johnson at the Royal Festival Hall. Donegan was a big fan of Johnson, and took his first name as a tribute to him. The story goes that the host at the concert got the musicians’ names confused, calling them “Tony Johnson” and “Lonnie Donegan”, and Donegan was happy to keep the name.
Donegan recorded a reworking of an American folk tune, Rock Island Line. Decca released the song in 1956, billed by the Lonnie Donegan Skiffle Group. The record, with its talking sequences, homage to Americana, and fast train shuffle climax, became a major hit in Britain and America. Because he was paid a flat fee for the session, Donegan didn’t receive any royalty payments for his most popular and influential song until the label struck a new deal for him 40 years later. However, Rock Island Line made him a star in his own right and would remain his signature song throughout his career.
From 1956 through 1962, he enjoyed a string of 34 British hits including Puttin’ on the Style and Cumberland Gap, which hit number one in 1957, Don’t You Rock Me Daddy-O, which reached number four in the same year, and the raucous sing-along My Old Man’s a Dustman which climbed to the top of the charts in 1960. It’s not hard to see why Lonnie is regarded as the first real pop star, his fans included the likes of Lennon and McCartney, who’s first group, The Quarrymen were a skiffle group. he Shadows, the Searchers, the Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, Gerry & the Pacemakers, and Cliff Richard all began their musical lives doing skiffle.
As the swinging sixties rolled on Donegans hits dried up but he was always in demand for gigs at home and across the world, he also dabbled in a wee bit acting and his own song publishing business, his most popular song he bought the rights for being Nights in white Satin. In the 70’s he popped upon the occasional TV shows during breaks from touring, in 1972 Tom Jones covered one of Lonnie’s songs and it went top 5 on both sides of the Atlantic. As a performer he continued to record and lease unsuccessful sides to Pye, Decca, Black Lion, and RCA.
A 1976 heart attack forced Donegan into an uneasy semi-retirement in California. Two years later, Chrysalis Records organized an all-star recreation of his early hits Puttin’ on the Style. Produced by former British teen idol Adam Faith and boasting duets with Ringo Starr, Elton John, and Rory Gallagher, it was his last major-selling album. Follow-ups with respected session ace Albert Lee and Cajun-fiddler Doug Kershaw seemed to point him towards country music, but a series of heart attacks in 1979 ended his full-time career.
In later years Donegan made a series of guest appearances with old friend Chris Barber including a featured spot on Van Morrison’s Skiffle Sessions: Live in Belfast 1998. Just before his death, he returned to touring full time, exhibiting much of his classic verve and humour before standing-room-only crowds. Donegan died on November 3rd, 2002, in Peterborough.

To say you had the hots for your coworker… Well, that might've been the biggest understatement of the year.
To be fair, who wouldn't? From his slick, raven hair to the airiness of his voice to the intricate knowledge he held of a soundboard, it was hard to say Argyle Montoya was anything but gorgeous.
It definitely didn't make matters any better that you knew him better than anyone else. You'd spend hours every single day talking about anything you could find, in between DJ-ing for one of California's biggest radio stations of course. You felt like you'd begun to know him better than even he did.
Maybe that's how you'd weaseled your way in and found out he was currently single and very ready to mingle.
Somehow or another, he'd let it slip that he'd been particularly… lonely, let's say. And maybe that was why you'd been flashing him extra special glances while he was working, paying extra special attention to the way his hands looked roaming around the soundboard. You could swear you felt your heart flip as he flicked the microphone switch, leading back into his next segment.
The two of you made eye contact for what was most likely only a second, but felt like hours. The normal caramel shade of his eyes had faded into obsidian, and you were surprised his glare hadn't burned a hole right through you.
"That was the iconic Lucy In The Sky," he started, his breath hot on the mike. "Can never go wrong with The Beatles. Can you, Y/N?"
Your stomach turned as his gaze zeroed in on you again. "Nope," you chuckled into your mike.
"I don't know about you guys but we're huge fans of The Beatles here at 102 The Groove, which is why… drum roll, please."
"Dum dum dum dum," you improvised, forcing yourself to chuckle at the way he motioned toward you. His expressions were normal, average Argyle. But that glare… that stupidly sexy glare was going to be the death of you.
He laughed, a sound that managed to be sweet and rough simultaneously. "For a half hour, in honor of Ringo's sold out stadium tour, we're gonna be playing nothing but the best of The Beatles. Maybe a Wings song in there somewhere, maybe a Plastic Ono Band song or two. And who knows? Maybe at the end we'll be giving away a couple tickets to a very lucky listener. Here's Come Together to start us off."
You panicked, looking over your schedule. You were sure you didn't remember there being a half hour block scheduled for that hour, much less a Beatles block. Your eyes drifted along the page, examining every word, down to last syllable and-
"What are you doing?" Argyle asked, practically hovering over your chair.
You let out a strangled breath, your heart beating fast from his close proximity. "I-" you struggled, attempting to collect your thoughts. "There wasn't a half hour block scheduled."
"I know. Which is why I reiterate, what are you doing?" He eyes locked with yours, and it wasn't until that moment that you realized how close his large hand was to yours on the desk.
"What are you-"
"Don't play innocent with me," he said. All cheerfulness and light had left his voice, what he met you with was a sound as dark as his pupils."You think I haven't noticed all those little looks you've been sending me?"
Oh. Oh. "Oh that," you teased, trying to keep calm, though every inch of your body was screaming at you to jump his bones. "It's nothing really."
"Before I say anything either of us will regret, are you open to me being completely honest?"
Your stomach was doing so many somersaults, it rivaled an Olympic gymnast. "Of course, you can always be honest with me." The whole truth. You'd never be dishonest with Argyle, inside or outside of… whatever this was. And you needed him to know that you wanted nothing less than complete honesty from him.
"Do you think me trying to hide a boner from you all damn day is nothing?"
Your heart fluttered and you could already feel arousal forming in between your legs. You were sure it was a risk, but that didn't seem to stop you as you licked your lips, following it up with, "Is there anything I can do to fix it?"
"Yeah," he said as he kneeled in front of you, his tall figure still managing to be eye level with you even down on his knee. "I think fucking that look out of you would fix it. How 'bout you?"
You were rendered speechless as he lifted you from your chair, both of you standing back up to your full height. He towered over you, his brows raised as he awaited your response. You simply nodded, afraid your voice would betray you.
"Gonna need words, baby." You both cursed and commended him for being such a gentleman.
"Yes," you answered in a low moan.
His eyes flicked around the room, and you followed them like a lost puppy. "Close your blinds."
He walked over to his side of the studio, tugging down his blinds in swift, hurried motions. You stood like a deer in headlights, unsure if you could will your legs to move.
"Do you not understand plain English?" he all but growled. "Close the damn blinds."
You knew your lips would betray you at some point or another, but you didn't expect them to betray you by saying, "No."
Two letters, one syllable, and somehow the worst possible answer you could have ever given him.
He strided back toward you, one of his hands landing on your hip while the other met your hair, caressing it with his pointer finger. "Do you want everyone in this office to see me fucking you senseless?"
Your breathing sped up, and by the expression on his face, he already knew your response. Still, you shook your head, willing your hand to reach over and close the blinds.
In an instant, his mouth was on yours and his hands on your skin. The two of you pushed and pulled at each other, and you hadn't noticed you'd moved until your back hit the wall. You arched away from the foam, secretly fearing you'd damage the equipment if you were too hard on it.
His lips traveled down to your neck, nipping and sucking at the base. Your hands tangled in his hair, the soft texture contrasting the roughness of his hands and mouth.
"Tell me," he said, his voice low, "how you need me."
You could think of about thirty positions you wanted him to take you in and twenty more places you wanted his mouth. You breathed heavily, one thing prominent in your mind. "I want," you panted, "I want you to bend me over your desk."
"Oh, yeah?" he smirked, lifting you up and forcing your legs around his waist. You willed your body to hold on to him, mewling as his rock-solid erection settled against your core. "Your wish is my command then, baby."
His mouth connected with yours once again as he carried you over to his desk, untangling your legs from him. "Bend over," he demanded.
You turned, lowering yourself onto the desk with the speed of a turtle. "Yes, sir," you sighed, raising your ass slowly to meet his tented jeans.
"Sir. I like the sound of that, baby."
His hands met the waistband of your pants, slowly slipping them down your legs until your cunt was on full display for me. His hand met your asscheek, gripping the supple skin, his nails embedding dirty crescent shapes into you. "Look at you."
Your hips canted as his nails dug into you. "Marking me as yours?" you asked, grinding against him.
"Hell yeah, I am." He smacked your ass, and your head fell forward. "You like that? Making sure everyone knows you belong to now?"
"Uh-huh," you answered in a breathy sigh. You rubbed your butt against him, and you were positive you'd created a wet spot on his jeans.
His hand trailed down your body, until his fingers met your folds, your slick soaking the digits. His opposite hand moved to his jeans, undoing the fastening quickly. "God, so wet, baby."
"Only for you," you answered as you rutted against him, sinking his fingers further into you. "O-Oh," you moaned, throwing your head back.
"Not so fast," he instructed, moving his hands to your hips and lining you up with the tip of his cock. "You can have my fingers later, baby. My cock needs you right now."
He slowly slid in, and you nearly came just from the sheer girth of his dick. He pulled at your hips, beginning to create the perfect rhythm. The sounds of skin and slick filled the air, and sweat began to pool in the dips of your breasts.
He rocked into you, the tip of his cock hitting your sensitive spot with every thrust. His hips slammed against yours, so hard you were sure you'd have bruises. His fingers grasped and squeezed at your love handles, and you couldn't help but whine from the pure pain and pleasure he was providing you with.
"You dirty little thing," he grunted with a particularly rough thrust. "Wanting everyone in the office to see me fucking you like this."
You moaned, fucking back onto his length. The thought was enough to have you seeing stars.
"Little slut. Oh, shitttt," he exhaled, his dick twitching inside of you. "God, I'm close, baby."
Your eyes screwed shut as you rasped, "Me too, sir." Your bodies glistened with sweat under the hot lights, creating extra friction that you craved. You moaned as his hand met your ass again, slapping you in some form of disapproval.
"Not yet, baby," he instructed, one of his hands meeting your hair. "I need to see your eyes when it happens."
He pulled your head back, and you forced your eyes to meet his. Your pussy fluttered around him as your climax built, rutting your hips against him until the head of his cock was surely hitting your cervix. He held your head up, his grip so tight, you wouldn't be surprised if he pulled out your hair. Not that you cared, if he pulled your hair any harder, you'd probably cum just from that.
With a couple more thrusts, he was spilling inside of you, and you were finishing in sync with him. Your walls pulsed around him, milking his cock for everything it was worth. "Fuckfuckfuck," he was groaning in your ear, his hand firm on your hip as you both worked through your highs.
He stayed buried inside of you until the last possible moment, making you cum three more times before he pulled out. You weren't even sure he had pulled his pants back up before speaking into the mike. "That was Photograph by Ringo Starr to close us out. Y/N, you wanna announce what number caller is gonna win pit seats for Ringo's show at the Greek Theater?"
You tried your hardest to not sound like you were recovering from an earth shattering orgasm as you said, "How 'bout caller number four?"
"I like that number. Call 213-555-9333 to claim your tickets now!"
He pulled away from the mike, his gaze closing in on you. The phones began ringing, and as he picked up, his gaze was still zeroed in on you. "Caller number four, who is this?!"
The person spoke, but you didn't hear a word he said. Your gaze stayed on his as you mouthed, "it's a lucky number, considering how many orgasms you provided me with."
He rolled his eyes, mouthing back, "How do you feel about me beating that record later?"

"A Hard Day's Night" Blog Essay
By: Jillian Arnold
“We know how to behave! We've had lessons.”
“A Hard Day’s Night” is a fun and slapstick humor movie that allows fans to have a deeper dive into the Beatles, more personal side rather than professional, and shows a different, boyish wonder side of them. The plot of this movie consists of a routine event that the stars of the Beatles, John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, deal with in their stardom. It shows the stars running away from their obsessive fans to play a live concert along with other side quests such as Ringo going to jail, John criticizing the TV Director, George being mistaken as an actor, and Paul McCartney taking care of his grandfather. It shows that the Beatles had good time management in their professional life in their personal life and it shows that the stars were human like their fans, but also made their fans laugh with their hilarious plot.

A trailer for the movie, A Hard Day’s Night. Just this trailer shows the highs and lows of fame; affecting thousands of your fans with music but also never getting time away from thousands of fans. This clip shows a compilation of the members of the Beatles, John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, running away from obsessed fans.
The film is well received by audience members and has earned an 89% acceptance rate in an audience score and a 98% with the Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes. Although it is not as well known as other classic films, it is an important one in our history and just shows that sometimes all we need is a little humor in our lives. The film was also loved by fans because it came out during the peak of the Beatles' careers when they had thousands upon thousands of fans. This movie has been nominated for three awards, which just shows how good and popular a movie it is.

Ironically, a huge event that happened the year the movie was released was when the Beatles came to America. On February 7th, 1964, the Beatles touched down on American soil before they made their live U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan Show two days later. At the time, the Beatles were huge in the UK and were so famous, so then performing in America made them huge as well in the States. They were one of the first bands to have popular music in the States from other countries, which contributed to the Beatlemania happening in the UK and the States.

Here is a scene from the movie, starring George Harrison. The scene is about George being mistaken as an actor auditioning for a TV show. The humor in the scene allows fans to connect with the scene and love the actor even more.
The film was shot using a cinéma vérité style, which is a French film movement of the 1960s that showed people in everyday situations with authentic dialogue and naturalness of action. I think this style of film shooting was done because they wanted the fans to see the authenticity of how the band acted and wanted them to see that they were real people just like them also since this film had some of the biggest music stars at the time in it, it brought popularity to the French film movement since so many many people watch the movie because of their favorite stars.
This film is both conventional and unconventional. It is conventional because it stars the Beatles and their feature film debut when they were at their peak of fandom. It is unconventional due to the documentary style of filming and it being filmed in black-and-white since colored films were the norm in films at the time.

Here's a poster of the film. Its bright colors and fun letters attract people’s eyes to the movie, making people want to see it. It also shows the iconic faces and hair of the stars of the movie, which people also recognize and love.
This film allowed fans to connect even deeper with their favorite music stars, who will be forever known for all time. It also allowed the band to reach out to their fans by providing them with laughter and fun. Overall, it is a fun and classic movie that everyone should watch, especially huge fans of the Beatles.
"Now you'll like these. You'll really dig them. They're fab and all the other pimply hyperboles."
