It literally does not matter what you like and how you look as long as you click. (Also tell me if you want any specific characters I didn’t mention)

I imagine them not minding it neither way, because you can wear a skirt or pants and still fuck them into oblivion. Though there are some that might get fooled by your appearance. It’s the first impression after all.

Dazai would probably tease you about it from time to time, “when I first saw you, I thought you were such a nice and innocent girl! Who knew you were into such freaky stuff?” He’d joke about it all the time, just to provoke you. Then he’d add, “but I love all woman, even if you are a beast in bed.” And wink at you. Now it’s your choice what you will do to him later, maybe you should punish that cheeky tongue of his.

Atsushi would probably be a bit embarrassed, that he needs a girl to take care of him, especially if you are shorter or look younger than him. You just have to assure him it’s alright to feel this way, and it’s alright to show emotions, cry, whatever. He gets embarrassed easily, or flustered, so it’s almost the same no matter what body Typ. You could be taller than him and hug him from behind, he’d blush already. Or as mentioned be shorter and nuzzle into his chest, and he’ll turn red. Also if you flirt with him, and he does catch on, then it really doesn’t matter if you look very feminine or not, he’d be nervous and fumbling with his thumbs the entire time.

Kunikida, I gotta say, he feels like the traditional reserved type of person, though secretly (unbeknownst to him) also a freak. Probably wrote in his book something about a nice and healthy relationship, a girly girl who is mature and gentle, and vanilla. Maybe someone who works part time so that they could take care of the household? He works full time after all. So consider him surprised when he found out about you, cuz your appearance made him believe you were very.. well, basic. (There is nothing wrong with basic) though to think you’d make him so such humiliating stuff.. you better not leave him now, not after seeing all those sides of him.

Sigma likes people who knows what they want and want to be, who can decide. Because he has a few problems with his identity. That’s why he really admires how you carry yourself, and know what you like. Fashion wise or others. You know what you like and you stand behind it, go for it girl. Also, I think sigma likes the high fashion, like a small hobby he has, so he’d love to go shopping with you and discuss outfit ideas. He probably enjoys a wide range of styles.

Fyodor also thought you would be a total sub, he just guessed. Turns out he guessed completely wrong, his mistake, can he make up by drinking a shot? Anyway, as long as you are useful, he doesn’t really care how you present yourself. The skills are what’s important. But to be honest, at first, he was trying to find a very traditional partner. It’s what he believes in. A good wife who cooks and takes care of the house, and obeys. That’s what he was looking for, if he wanted a relationship in the first place. It’s what’s written in the bible, he wanted to follow it. After spending a night with you, he had to think about it again. It felt too good to give up, and honestly, just because you top or dom doesn’t mean you won’t fulfil the requirements, no? Even if you didn’t, well, he was god’s chosen one he can make a special case just for you.

Nikolai would ask you to dress up as a clown with him. If you refuse, he’ll keep asking. So yea, he doesn’t really care what you like or look, he will make you into clowns and magic shows. It’s a part of getting closer to him, there is no roundabout. (Rip those who have a phobia against clowns, but if you do why would you like Nikolai in the first place) jokes aside, I’m sure he won’t really force you into liking all that. Probably…

Chuuya would find it pretty practical, cuz similar to sigma, you know what you like or who you are so you are easy to read. He doesn’t need to think that long to guess what kind of stuff you’d like, it’s practical. But he’ll still take ages to find the *perfect* present for you. Most of the time he’ll buy more than one, if you don’t like it throw it away. If you are even shorter than him, it’d boost his ego, cuz, yea, short people struggles. Though that ego would be gone after you show him who’s top, and he’d be pouting for a while. He thought he could finally stand over someone! He was taller but somehow he didn’t feel like he actually was! It’s not a negative feeling though, not at all. And you being girly didn’t matter, you look gorgeous anyway. Just say the word and he will silence anyone who thinks otherwise.

☁ Note: A continuation of Part 1 of Glimpse of Her. Originally, I didn't plan on making a second part for this since I'm out of ideas, but some of you insisted, so here you go. This story sounds so much better in my head. ;// 08/16/2023

Part 1

Since then, a week has gone by without your presence at the agency. Others started to worry and tried contacting you. They knew what had happened and were utterly disappointed with Dazai. Of course, he received tons of smacking from Kunikida for being such an idiot.

Dazai sat at his desk, staring into the distance. He absentmindedly fiddled with the slack bandage covering his arm, almost ripping it out. Normally, he would replace them with new ones, but does that really matter right now? He couldn’t think of anything other than you circling his mind.

It was unusual, to say the least, for the Agency to be so quiet.

He signed softly and leaned his head on his desk. The pain, guilt, and regret have been weighing heavily on his mind. He despised himself for how he exploited you for his own pleasure; how he only loved you because you reminded him so much of her, yet despite everything he had done to you, you continued to love him dearly, and that made him feel extremely guilty.

What good would it do, he thought, to apologize when he knew it wouldn't repair the pain he had caused?

Honestly, even if he knows he's done something wrong, he's not the type to apologize, but to you? He's unbelievably tender, almost making Kunikida choke and die with the change of Dazai’s personality around you.

He thought about what might possibly happen if you hadn't accepted his feelings in the first place. Will you both be content with your lives as friends or just happy as companions?

He doesn’t know the answer to that.

He sighed and stood up, proceeding towards the exit. This is something he always does to clear his mind. He'll go somewhere where he can be alone and think without being interrupted by people.

He twisted the doorknob, ignoring Kunikida's exasperated yells. He proceeded through the corridors and down the stairs, ignoring everyone in the agency. He just wants to get out and be by himself right now. Most eager to find you. Yes, he's worried.

As he was ready to leave the building, he was stopped by Ranpo's plaintive voice from the President's room.

“EHH? WHAT? You’re leaving?! (Name), don’t leave me!” was all Dazai heard as he walked back almost immediately and stood in front of the president's office. He grasped the doorknob, hesitant to enter. Dazai knew you didn't want to see him, but it's been a week, so this would be an opportunity to talk to you.

He broke out in a cold sweat as the thought of you leaving passed through his head. This felt like a kick to the gut for Dazai. He doesn’t want you to leave. He’s already lost the people he cared for, and now you? His grip tightened, and a familiar feeling rose up in his chest. He knew he was the reason, yet he ashamedly admits he doesn’t want you to leave. Even if you don’t talk to him, seeing your presence safe in the agency is already enough for him.

But what did he expect? This is clearly the consequence of his foolish actions.

He stood there for a moment, debating whether he should go in or just wait for you to come out. He gritted his teeth as his breath became shallow. His heart was hammering against his ribs. Despite being able to control his heart rate, he couldn’t stop it. Dazai wasn’t familiar with the sensation, as it was the first time he had felt this way, and it left him feeling overwhelmed and out of character, almost making him cringe.

He snapped back to reality when he heard a familiar voice behind the door. "Don't worry, Ranpo-san, I'll still come by and bring you sweets," you muttered as you opened the door, unaware of the person behind it. You collided with something, or more specifically, someone's chest. You looked up to see who it was, making you suck in a breath. You took a step back and instantly adjusted your stance. You silently closed the door behind you while staring at the individual in awkward silence.

Why now?

You thought as you pursed your lips. You were helpless and simply stood there, staring at the man who had broken you. Thoughts of ignoring him and leaving as if you didn't know him crossed your mind, but something inside of you keeps you from doing so. Possibly anxious?

Breathing nervously, you were taken aback by his sudden embrace, causing you to halt in place and your eyes to widen. Dazai didn’t know what pushed him to do that, but he didn’t care; he just felt the need to hold you in his arms.

"(Name), you’re safe. I’ve missed you so much, my bella-"

"-please get off of me." You spoke as you firmly pushed him away. You could have sworn you saw the anguished expression he made, but you were too perplexed to even care about that. Right now, you just want to be eaten by the ground and be alone. Just seeing him makes your heart tighten.

"(Name), belladona, can we talk this out? Please talk to me," He said in a pleading tone, taking a step closer to you, but you were too hurt to even want to hear of any of his pathetic reasons. You didn't want to take a chance of getting hurt again, especially when he made it clear that he took advantage of your feelings.

Sweat began to gather on your forehead as you fought back tears that threatened to form in your eyes. You were at a loss for what to do in this uncomfortable situation. You didn't want to cry in his presence. You just want to be away from him and be alone.

When he didn't hear you respond, his heart tightened, a clear indication to him that you didn't want to talk to him. Normally he would pester the person and force them to speak to him, but this time was different. He knew you didn’t want to, so he had no choice but to let you go.

You muttered a low ‘excuse me’ as you walked past Dazai, leaving a pit inside of his stomach. You surpassed the impulse to cry as you exited the building. It's probably the last time you'll ever set foot on it. As much as Dazai wanted to hold your wrist to stop you, he just can’t bring himself to do it. But if he can, he will, even if it means screaming at him, just for you to stay.

His heart sank when you disappeared from his sight. The person he loved was leaving him again, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. Even if he wanted to, he just couldn’t. In that moment, everything seemed to slow down as he watched the person who had made him feel understood disappear from his life forever.

Ranpo knew it was coming as he walked out of the President's office, peering at the man's amber eyes with his emerald ones in disappointment.

"Honestly, did you love them? Or was it simply the way they treated and loved you that made you love them?" Ranpo inquired solemnly, already knowing the answer to his question. Despite Ranpo's childish demeanor, he becomes serious in circumstances like this if you’re involved. You were like a sister to Ranpo, and watching you leave the agency sent thousands of knives through his chest. He couldn't help but blame the brunette for your departure.

Dazai turned his gaze to where you had left. He did love you. He loves you with all his heart. But there were times that he'd see you as her, and he couldn’t help but miss her solace. But of course, that is no excuse for him to make you stay.

He didn’t immediately respond, but after a moment of silence, he replied, “With all my heart.”

“How can you say that? You broke their heart.”

He sighed deeply and said, “I know, and for that, I'm forever sorry. But I want you to know that I never meant to hurt them. I loved them more than anything in the world. I still do.”

‘Never meant? that’s bullshit.’ Ranpo thought to himself. Although Ranpo isn’t the type of person to curse, what Dazai said made him look at him in disbelief.

After a long pause, Dazai continued, “I know how much pain I caused them, and I don’t expect them to forgive me. But I want them to know that they’ll always have a place in my heart.”

If he hadn't messed up in the first place, surely your relationship would not have ended up this way.

But his actions were a choice, not a mistake, right?

Right.

Before turning around, Ranpo took a final look at the brunette and then closed his eyes.

“The hardest part of love isn’t falling in or out of it. It’s learning how to pick yourself up and move on.” and with that, Ranpo left the brunette dumbfounded.

As he stood there dumbfounded, a sudden realization slowly began to dawn on Dazai. He was coming to understand something he had never quite fully realized before. He blinked a few times as he breathed out a breath he was holding before starting to move again.

Maybe… Just maybe one day he'll find a glimpse of us.

Part 1

Bonus part: It's been 6 years since you last visited the agency, and you're now blissfully engaged to someone amazing. You haven't seen or heard from your former colleagues in a long time, so inviting them to your wedding would be a fantastic idea.

And what about Dazai? He hasn't changed since you left. Consider his distress when he receives your wedding invitation. To be honest, he deserves it. That was something he did to himself. But part of him is relieved that you've found happiness.

He was hesitant to attend your wedding, but Ranpo persuaded him to do so. (Lmao He wanted him to feel your anguish 6 years ago.)

Dazai

Dazai always teases you about not turning work in on time, which annoys you a lot

Has a tally chart of every time you've forgotten something

He really gets on your nerves sometimes, but you try to joke around as much as you can

For your anniversary, he got you a beautiful pendant that matched his own

It was gleaming with a silver lining, a black ribbon to attach it, and your favorite stone in the center

You loved it so much and wore it every day

But, one day you were getting ready for work, and the pendant wasn't on your dresser

You had a little bit of a breakdown and tore your house apart looking for it

You gave up and sat in despair

Kunikida called a million times considering you're almost never late for work

when you heard a knock on the door, you assumed it was Kunikida until you got up close to it

"Oh Y/nnnn~ You're never late wassuppppp"

You ran and hid back in the living room

"I'M DEADLY SICK GO AWAY DAZAI!" "wait wahhhh?"

As you hid under a mountain of blankets, waiting for him to hopefully leave, you heard your front door swing open

"You forgot I had a key to your place Belladonnaaaa!"

Suddenly the blanket was ripped off you and you were exposed

You looked up at Dazai as he blinked at you, waiting for you to speak

Tears immediately formed in your eyes as you stared at him in embarrassment

He got even more confused when you started profusely apologizeing

"I LOST THE PENDANT YOU GAVE ME, I'M SO SO SORRY OSAMU! I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY!"

You expected Dazai to tease you, or be upset, but instead he laughed

When you looked up, he was smiling down at you

"I figured this would happen."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the exact same pendant from before

You looked up in amazement as he handed it to you

"I even took the liberty of getting a second one made, hehe."

You guys skipped work together after, and went on a cute little cafe date

Kunikida

He sometimes gets a little aggravated with your forgetfulness sometimes, but he tries to be as understanding as possible

He tries to help you remember stuff in a logical way, like helping you take notes or texting you things you need to remember

He does snap a few times, but does apologize immediately after each time

Kunikida got you a custom-made notebook to keep notes in, it was a darker shade of your favorite color, had lightly tea-stained pages, and had "Never fall" Written on the front

You would take notes in it and it honestly really helped your memory

You got to work early one morning to finish some work, you went to write something down and... Your notebook wasn't there

You freaked out, it was just you in the office, but in only a mere twenty minutes Kida would be there to start the day

You basically tore apart your desk looking for it (neatly putting it back together afterward)

You went through your office locker and your work bag. Even checking Dazai and Ranpo's desks to see if either of them had hidden it from you

In the middle of researching through your own bag, Kunikida came in for work

He noticed you over at Ranpo's desk and was a bit confused

"What are you doing in Ranpo's desk?"

His voice caught you off guard, making you slam your head into the metal desk

You laid on the ground in defeat as Kunikida came over to check if you were okay

"Please don't be mad..."

You explained what happened and how you really didn't mean to lose it

Kuni sighed as he picked you up off the floor

"I'm not mad, maybe a little irritated, but definitely not mad."

You went to the cafe while he looked for it, luckily Kunikida's ideals for the day included 10 minutes of free time for you

When you came up with Kunikida's coffee, the notebook was sitting on his desk with his own, he'd managed to find it

Akutagawa

He doesn't really care how forgetful you are unless it interrupts him

He does get irritated when you forget missions or to turn in paperwork, he has snapped a little more than Kunikida

He got you a beautiful feather pen for your birthday, it was the first really meaningful gift he ever got you

You wrote with it in journals and such to try to help you memorize certain things

But one evening, you forgot where you had put it.

You freaked out, worrying Akutagawa would be upset you lost such an expansive gift

You looked for almost an hour and a half before you realized it was gone.

At that time, Akutagawa came by your apartment to see what was taking you so long

When he opened the door he was met with you lying on the floor in defeat

"What's the problem here?"

You looked up at him as he was walking over, and just hid behind your hands

"..I lost your present."

Akutagawa stared down at you for a minute, whether trying to calm his anger; Or thinking about what to say you don't know.

He sighed as he started searching himself

"Although it was wildly expensive, I'm not mad. Let's just keep looking."

You stood up confused as he kept flipping over things

You walked up and hugged him from behind

"Thank you..." "Mhm, not a problem."

You both kept looking, but in reality, it wasn't even in your apartment. It was in your desk drawer at the office

Poe

Poe is very patient with you, he's also a slightly forgetful person so he understands that you're really trying

Poe tries to write you little notes and hide them throughout your desk to help remember importance things

He also checks frequently on you to see if you're doing what you're supposed to be

Poe wrote you a book of poems about yourself, it was a full book to the very last page

It was very indearing, and you read it to help you fall asleep

You had always kept it in your work bag, but when you when you went to take it out one day it was missing

You freaked out, starting to look through the whole office

You'd remembered putting it in your bag this morning so it has to be there somewhere

After about 30 minutes of intense searching, Poe came in to check up on you

"What are you doing my dear Y/n?"

You just couldn't lie to him, you sighed as he walked over

"Poe.. I'm really sorry. I lost the book you wrote for me. I know the cover was expensive, plus all your work is gone.. please forgive me."

Poe smiled as he grabbed your face into his hands

"My dear I have every one of those poems memorized by heat. And don't worry about expenses, it was only a meer 65,000 Yen. I'll forget that in seconds."

You chuckled as he hugged you tightly

Karl ended up having the book, and Poe read it to the both of you that night

Life and Death Parallels within the ADA

Someone in a tag said a while back to throw some of my tags of this post onto a post, and I meant to do it way back in February but kind of got lost to the timestream.

But I'm back and I really do have thoughts about the way the ADA is structured to really be, as Atsushi was told just before the Kamui revelation, a place where the members give the organisation unique strengths that cover each other's weaknesses. And I thought about how there's a sort of equal divide between the older generation (Ranpo, Yosano, Dazai, and Kunikida) and the younger generation (Kyouka, Kenji, Tanizaki, Atsushi) and how each of these characters have both a similar aged parallel to them in the agency as well as a minor-adult parallel.

I'll try to be as concise as possible (I failed), but hear me out...

We have Ranpo/Yosano, Dazai/Kunikida, Atsushi/Tanizaki, and Kyouka/Kenji as similar-aged parallel sets that pair a death-coded individual with a life-coded individual. On the the adult-minor side, you have Ranpo/Kenji, Yosano/Atsushi, Dazai/Kyouka, and Tanizaki/Kunikida as parallel sets in their story arcs rather than thematic ones.

So, to start with the first set.

Ranpo (life-coded) and Yosano (death-coded): I feel as if these two have sort of reached the most balanced level of thematic parallels than any of the other pairings. Ranpo's past was full of this enjoyment with life where his parents' occupations dealing with darker forces of the world were hidden from him. Meanwhile, Yosano's past was full of death and darkness that was not hidden from her. And in Yosano's backstory, she was called the angel of death; in Ranpo's Origins tale with Fukuzawa, he confronted an angel of death of a sort. Yosano was deteriorating into death while Ranpo was slowly thriving under Fukuzawa. And then they met...and Ranpo found someone to bring back to life, and a place in the ADA where he could use murders and death and the darkness of the world to spread light/life by literally shining light on the mysteries, while Yosano found a place where she could use death to bring life in the ADA.

Dazai (death-coded) and Kunikida (life-coded): I think this parallel of life/death manifests the most in their ideals...Dazai's ideal is sort of entrenched in death and trying to die a painless suicide while Kunikida is all about spreading life for himself and others no matter how much pain it brings him. What's so wrong with these two is that they also have inclinations towards their "opposite coding," so to speak. We constantly see people pointing out Kunikida's secret desire to die while we clearly see Dazai doing his uttermost to live a good life and carry on Oda's legacy. Life haunts Kunikida as much as death haunts Dazai, and yet death chases after Kunikida (all the people he's witnessed dying, RIP) as much as life comes after Dazai (all his failed suicide attempts, double RIP)

Atsushi (life-coded) and Tanizaki (death-coded): This is honestly pretty tricky because we barely know anything about Tanizaki. Even though Kunikida and Dazai's past-pasts are still pretty mysterious, we have a good grasp on their characters. But Tanizaki's personality dissonance and as-of-yet unknown past with his sister definitely contrasts with the way we're know Atsushi's past and values. Both, however, are incredibly protective, but the way Tanizaki and Atsushi approach it is pretty different; Tanizaki seems to have this mentality that he must kill the threat while Atsushi seems determined more to save the victim. (I also find that one throwaway about "wimp of the east (Tanizaki)/wimp of the west (Atsushi)" interesting because maybe it's just in western lit, but west denotes sunsets and death while east denotes sunrises and rising, except in Buddhism where the west is shown as a direction of enlightenment(info check?)...which provides another host of interesting parallels to Atsushi and his relation to the book but let's not go there). All in all, these two are a bit of a stretch, but it's interesting to see that Atsushi's mysteries lie more towards the future (usually associated with life) while Tanizaki's life more in the past.

Kenji (life-coded) and Kyouka (death-coded): This one's pretty straightforward, not just because they're the youngest members of the ADA. But you see their life philosophies and personalities lean towards what they're coded as, as well as their pasts (Kenji as a farmer, cultivating life, and Kyouka as an assassin, dealing death). And yet what drew each to the ADA....Kenji was drawn to the ADA after witnessing death after a lifetime of growing new life while Kyouka was drawn to the ADA after being given life after a long childhood of killing.

However, in the end, the Armed Detective Agency is a detective organisation devoted to saving people, and all of them end up choosing life for it. But the different ways they go about it just go to show that you can have any crazy skill and still spread some sort of life through it. All of them are haunted by death, anyway, and yet all of them choose to spread life regardless.

Now onto the second set, which I'll keep shorter by simply saying that the pairs - Ranpo/Kenji, Yosano/Atsushi, Dazai/Kyouka, and Tanizaki/Kunikida - just have similar story beats, in a sense.

Ranpo and Kenji raised fairly happy, rudely awakened by the world, and yet choosing to believe in continuing to keep up a positive attitude; I'd say, though, that Ranpo does it primarily through shutting his eyes to the world while unmasking it while Kenji does it through acknowledging its pain and refusing to let it bring him down.

Yosano and Atsushi both with honestly terrible childhoods spent witnessing some of the most cruel sides of human natures growing up to be champions of life, only Yosano has definitely developed more steel and walls while Atsushi's definitely softer and more open still (they're both crazy stubborn, though).

Then Dazai and Kyouka's past with the Port Mafia and a disillusionment in reality that was abruptly interrupted when they realised they had to do something about it as useless as it sounded; Dazai thanks to Oda dying and Kyouka thanks to Dazai telling her to save people anyway.

And again, Kunikida and Tanizaki's probably a stretch given we know nothing about their pasts, but I really really find it interesting that Kunikida was a former teacher and Atsushi first assumed Tanizaki and Naomi to be students; also, I've mentioned this in other posts but Kunikida and Tanizaki are paired together a lot and have...their moments. It's pretty interesting to perceive these two people with strong ideals that are almost the reversal of the other ("the world for one person" vs "myself (one person) for the world").

But yeah...that has been parallels within the ADA concerning themes of life and death and their character's narrative arcs.

Bonus? Fukuzawa and Naomi....a middle aged president and a teenaged clerk, both protective about the people they claim to be their own, smart in their own ways, with seemingly "support" roles.

BSD 108 – Will DoA arc be like Avengers Infinity War & Endgame?

Hello~~~

Omg this chapter was sooo delicious – me Fyodor stan having time of my life xD His performance and his final words mocking Sigma was 10000/10 – he is truly fascinating and complex villain, I love him xD

OK, let’s get serious XDD

For some time I was wondering how Asagiri intends to finish this arc... Everything indicate that it will end soon, but at the same time given how OP Fukuchi and Fyodor are in their respective fields – some deus ex machina for ADA to win would be unsatisfactory to me honestly. Initially I thought that Bram or Aku will take over and regain control of all vampires and stop Fukuchi, but… after this chapter looks like there is no time for that xD

So I think DOA’s plan won’t be stopped at all, but they will achieve what they want just like Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.

By this I mean that DOA will succeed and create temporary reality – first using One Order to destabilize current world and then using the Book to create new one without abilities. Symbolically, destruction and rebirth always go hand in hand and you can’t have one without another.

Then we will get time skip and Endgame equivalent – our characters living in new world and getting that something is wrong and need to be changed. Maybe reality without abilities would not be so peaceful, who would have guessed that xD Also maybe there will be some rip-off effect of changing reality or some enemy will appear, who guards canon timeline xD Possibilities are endless – it just depends on what Asagiri has in mind and what story he wants to tell.

After all, the core of the story is that abilities are not source of evil and are just part of everyone’s self as projection of fear/greed/anger/and so on. Though world without abilities would be tempting to some characters, which abilities were partly source of suffering - like to Atsushi, who was hesitating whether DOA plan should be stopped. But still, negative traits are still part of everybody and they just need to be balanced by good ones and choices to be better person.

Other random thoughts related to chapter:

Fyodor’s seizure to words ‘help me’ didn’t look fake and it reminded me of how N tried to take control of Verlaine in SB. But I guess it was just temporary and Fyodor regained control and used it to fool Sigma. Ofc it can be that he faked all - we will see if there is more to it or not. Btw I still believe that Fyodor’s backstory is akin to Verlaine or Chuuya – that he was tampered artificially by military to get powerful ability and he started to resent world and abilities because of that. Personality disorder would be indeed cliché and it was already done once in 55 Minutes LN, so I hope that Asagiri has something more interesting for Fyodor in store.

Gogol where are you 👀 I wonder if he is author of the note and that he simply wanted to sabotage Fyodor xD he is character with much potential, I hope he wasn’t just in this arc to set up duel between Dazai and Fyodor in this arc

Me Bram confusion😵 previous chapter pretty set up Bram rejecting passivity and trying to fight for Aya’s future. But this one kinda backed out of this, so I am not really sure where his arc is leading to for now xD but maybe some heroic act later on

Though depending on how things will go - self-sacrifice will suit Fukuchi or Mori too as a way to undo their wrongdoings. Again, possibilities are endless.

Fukuzawa’s state – still I would say it is 50/50 given how healing abilities work whether Asagiri needs character to live or not. Nonetheless, I was expecting his death for a while and it is more plausible option for story sake – Ranpo just needs some character development and Asagiri often use mentor’s death for that. Imo Kunikida as next ADA director was red herring and Ranpo fits better for that role given Agency’s orgin.

Btw i don’t think Sigma will die.

Ofc, it is just speculation and I am not 100% sure that story will go that way, since BSD tends to be so unpredictable. But imo Asagiri didn’t recently mention for no reason that he was inspired by Avengers and that ideally he wants one more season for anime too xD

Thoughts on Gin and Kunikidarling?

OOooooooo boy

Gin I absolutely adore and wish we could see more. I'm constantly impressed by Gin. I talk about how much I love Gin a bit here but I can definitely go more in depth. We don't see a lot of Gin in the canon, honestly. But we know she doesn't have an ability. We also know she's a Black Lizard commander. Not just... some kid in the mafia, but a commander. And a highly skilled assassin in her own right. Like. Trained-by-Verlaine assassin. You don't get a command position in the mafia by being a one trick pony. Gin can strategize, lead a group, and is fully operable for stealth solo missions, hence the whole assassin bit. She's respected. I also think its kind of interesting how different her role is compared to her brother, who is more... flashy, comparatively. They come from quite similar backgrounds, other than Ryuunosuke having an ability, but Gin seems much more confident and assured in her skillsets. I just think she's really neat.

Beast Gin is really cool, too. She's one of the characters that seems the most different between the two universes, which is kind of interesting considering she's in the mafia in both. However Beastzai seems to have recognized the incredible skillsets Gin possessed in the original universe, and saw how all the same things that make Gin a good commander (strategy, independent thinking, etc) and assassin (remaining under-the-radar and nondescript while still constantly aware) make her a good secretary to the boss. Her talents are recognized as intrinsically useful and necessary in both universes. Like... if she was only useful to motivate Ryuunosuke, she could have just been anywhere in the mafia, kept under watch. But she's given an important position, because its an absolute waste not to. I think we should talk about how capable Gin is more because she kicks serious ass in every skillset and also because I just think she's cool.

As for Kunikida, all that needs to be said is that i'm in love with him. Of course i'll say more anyway though. Because I love him. Mr. "While we are an Armed Detective Agency." We joke about Kunikida being rigid and uptight in all such things with his carefully laid out schedule in his little book that operates his life, but when you get down to it Kunikida really is pretty adaptive. Whatever wrench is thrown in his plans, he always responds and takes action immediately, which I think is pretty admirable. Sure, he'd probably like to stay on schedule, but he's quick to recognize when things are simply not going to go his way and he needs to adapt. Like, you know, getting his ability ripped out of him by a fog and having to instead fight his way back to the agency to figure out what the hell is going on. Kunikida is constantly constantly proving how resourceful he is. He can have whatever he wants when he needs it with his ability, but is also still incredibly limited considering what he has. And while he's always ready for a fight and quite talented at it, he never jumps to anything that will do lasting damage. I'll always find the way he tends towards that grapple gun interesting and all the ways he can use it.

There's also Kunikida's tendency towards just kind of... making sure people are cared for, and taking responsibility for things he was involved in (whether it should be his responsibility or not). Case in point being Rokuzo, the boy from the Azure Messenger arc, that Kunikida had been basically providing for on the side because he felt bad about being involved in the case that killed his dad. He'd all but adopted the boy before Nobuko killed Rokuzo. (Hey, how much of the bit with Aya in the subway tunnel do you think felt like a flashback to Rokuzo for Kunikida? Poor guy has seen this happen too many times. Just let him adopt kids in peace.) He checks in on Katai, too. Once you're under Kunikida's protection just once, it kind of seems like that's a for-life deal, and I think that's a really neat aspect of him. Another way of looking at it kind of feels like his work is his life, but that work is not limited to the Detective Agency. Its his ideals coming through. I like him.

Dazai- my mom didn't have wrds for u. Only numbers. They were 4/10. Then I asked her to rate u again, my mistake, it went down to 3/10. She says u should wash your hair. She clocked in tht u might be a little bit fruity like tht one meme tht goes "why r u gay?"

Chuuya- she asks u to get a better haircut, a 7/10, not bad imo. She likes your vest. She also clocked u in as fruity.

Atsushi- my mom thinks u have a very innocent face. She gave u a 6/10 just for looking sweet and unproblematic. I think it's funnt because u hv the tendency to drag ppl to hell and back if u r angry enough. If only she knew. She did not clock u in as one of the fruits.

Akutugawa- point blank asked me if u had a boyfriend in the show. I didn't know how to answer. She thinks ur coat is a dress. She didn't get it when I explained it that it was a coat. She wants u to wear nicer clothes that don't look ripped from the bottom by a cat. U get a 6/10.

Gin- she thinks u r very pretty, 9/10🥰 no comments. 9/10, congrats the highest rating so far.

There r more like kunikida, kyouka and stuff, I'll send them here if u want more opinions or whatever

This is dirty. That’s what kunikida thought while on all fourth, sticking his bottom out for use. You really wanted to do…that? He never even knew such a thing existed, and no matter how he looked at the situation, he couldn’t wrap his head around it. Even so the blondie couldn’t turn you down, which led to your current situation. If this is inevitable, then he should try to enjoy it, no?

He felt weird kneeling like this, especially because he was all nude. It felt like he was an object, a price waiting to be claimed, something that was being observed. Sweat ran down his forehead, and his eyes widened a little when he felt your hands grab his waist. “Don’t you want to lay your head down onto the pillow?” You suggested with a caring tone, brushing over his back with your fingertips. His skin felt smooth and pleasant to the touch, and when you reached his lower part, you slapped his butt once. It didn’t hurt as much as how loud it was.

“Ah… no, it’s fine.” The male gasped a little, seemingly on edge today. Why was he so jumpy? Was he exited or scared? “No need to be this on edge, kunikida.” You rubbed his buns before kneeling down yourself, using your hands to spread him apart. It was amazing how much you adored this man, wanting to try anything to make him feel pleasure. You started with kitten licks, it was fun teasing his like this, and you could feel how he trembled. For him though, it was humiliating. He was the one on the receiving end, yet he felt embarrassed that he was doing this. Mostly because it felt better than he thought, and that was something hard to accept for him.

You continued teasing him to your hearts content, poking against his hole once in a while to head the adorable whimpers he would let out. “Ahh.. mhm, huUumm.” Whenever you went down on him, he felt sensations like never before travel through his body, electricity and tingles plagued his abdomen. Drool was hanging from his chin, and his member also got hard in the meantime, messing up the bed with his body fluids. “No, no, it-it’s alright I..” he started, somehow his voice didn’t want to come out. “What? You have to speak clearly, kunikida.” Just to provoke him, you used your fingers to rub his entrance, making him yelp again. How did you expect him to think under such circumstances?

The male gazed back at you, a fierce look on his face, though to you it looked no different than a pouting kitten. “And?” You smirked, unable to hide your own enjoyment. “Keep going..” he whispered, a little hesitant to say any more. “That’s not how you ask for something, or?” Why were you being so difficult right now? It reminded him of a certain someone. “Keep going, please…” kunikida tried again, taking a small break to find the right words, “I.. liked it.” Ah, really cute, so cute you wanted to bully him. “And what did you like?” You asked him again, stroking his dick slowly while waiting for his answer. “MHmm,..!! Ahhh, the- the thing.. you did earlier..! UgHhh, please..” this was his limit, if he had to do anymore of this humiliating act, he would explode. “Pff, alright, I guess I’ll show you mercy for now.”

Alright so I was rewatching Walking Alone (the bungo stray dogs OVA) and I noticed something. When he pulls the stun grenade move. Kunikida literally snaps the ropes he's tied up with. We don't see I'm slicing them or anything, we see them straight up break. And within 10 seconds (which includes a slow motion and a cutaway so like. Shorter) he has Kastura down and tied/handcuffed.

So like. Imagine having Kunikida tied down, thinking there's no way he'd be able to get out, so you tease him a little. Maybe start playing with yourself, inviting him over to join you "oh wait, you can't move can you? Too bad~" Before he loses his patience and fucking snaps the ropes. And before you can respond to what happened, he already has you tied up, and you know you're in for it.

(Side note he's just so strong. Like. He could throw me and I love it)

Kunikida is so strong & frankly we don’t talk about it enough. every time he’s ever been in hand-to-hand combat with someone he’s got them pinned to the floor in seconds — like so fast you don’t realize what’s happening until it’s already over. it’s instinct, presumably, and for that to shine through in the bedroom ??? 😮‍💨

he agrees to let you tie him up bc honestly he likes when you take control. however Kunikida grows impatient much faster when you’re holding the reins versus when he is. you’d have your fun teasing him and what not but eventually he’s gonna become restless. sooner or later he’s gonna snap. and when he does? rip 😺 bc oh my

and after scaring you shitless by breaking out of his restraints, he’d pin you to the floor. he’d hold you there for a moment just so you can kind of get a grasp on what you’ve gotten yourself into, grumbling about how you’ve pissed him off & he’ll make sure you pay for it. part of me doesn’t even want him to tie you up after that, instead resorting to just keeping all his weight on you as he fucks you on the floor. if he does tie you up though, the end result is still the same; he fucks you dumb until you can’t think straight

i’m curious to know how dazai and sigma are gonna get out of this themselves. i’m honestly not sure whether or not they’re just gonna fucking kill dazai. i’d hope they don’t kill sigma (especially since they kinda hinted at him joining the agency in the future which would be AMAZING). it’s also very cute that dazai brought sigma along not for his own reasons but to rescue him from dos.

♡ honestly i can see you being a close friend of kyoka's, that solely being the reason you ever met the detective agency and kenji. she was determined to have you meet the rest of the agency, you and atsushi already becoming acquainted on the walk there (he had to supervise her lol).

♡ considering they were both pretty sweet and calm, you expected the agency to be welcoming and pretty quiet, assuming they're busy saving the world. however, as soon as you opened that door into the office, papers flew by your head and men screaming filled your ears. it was total mayhem and chaos you almost walked out

♡ atsushi had tried to convince you that normally the agency wasn't like this to make sure you stay, but kyoka shut his lie down real quick, making you nervous as hell. when the fighting came to a halt about thirty seconds later, ranpo was the first to notice you awkwardly standing alongside his colleagues

♡ "who are you?" he grinned, turning everyone's head in your direction. kunikida was the only one who lacked interest in your presence, dazai immediately interviewing you like a witness to a crime scene

♡ "what's your name?" "are you kyoka's little friend?" "hiii atsushi!!" dazai's blabbering went on and on until atsushi gently pushed him away from you three, leading you further into the office, which was a horrible mess of ripped papers and a... broken flower pot.

♡ you were too occupied studying the scene and listening to kyoka to notice kenji STARING at you. normally he'd walk up just fine to anybody and introduce his cheery self, but he was holding back, and ranpo was smug about it; he knew kenji was nervous and for a very obvious reason.

♡ eventually leaving to hang out with kyoka, kenji felt a little disappointed in himself that he didn't have the courage to talk to you. kunikida soon picked up on kenji's strange behavior and figured out why he was so nervous in only four questions. he wasn't hungry, he wasn't hurt, so...

♡ kenji would bring you flowers at your next agency visit, hesitantly introducing himself although you wouldn't notice his nervousness upon first glance. the flowers were a little odd, yes, but he still hoped you appreciated them.

♡ whenever the agency was planning on hosting an event or just going out to eat, kenji would be the first to ask if you were coming. he had no clue it gave away how big of a crush he had on you and was confused why everyone was giving him a "suspicious" look.

♡ almost ALWAYS chose a spot next to you, or the nearest spot at an event. whenever you made a joke he'd laugh, and whenever he made one himself he'd always glance at you to see if you found it funny.

♡ is very considerate and never ignores anything you say, always has a response. buys you little gifts and walks you home if you're leaving the agency late at night.

♡ likes to put his lil' hat on you and sometimes forgets you even have it, insists on you keeping it and wearing it home. not exactly your style but he was oddly persistent about it.

♡ kenji always has candy/sweets on hand for when you swing by and lets you take ALL of it... if ranpo hasn't found it first. adores your paintings and gives you constant suggestions on what to paint, begging you to let him watch you paint. will buy you supplies if need be (he has no idea what he's doing)

♡ eventually offers to hang out one-on-one, without kyoka or the rest of the agency... which is literally just a date, he's taking you out on a date, but poor kenji was confused and didn't necessarily understand that.

♡ kenji LOVES doing silly lil' dances with you or just being in the tiktoks you record. mostly the dances though, for obvious reasons... asks you to send them to him so he can keep them on his phone<3

♡ you two have probably been mistaken as a couple multiple times in public, eliciting a flushed and embarrassed response from kenji

♡ until that wasn't a mistake anymore !! kenji had mustered up the courage to tell you how he felt, full confidence. he absolutely adored you since day one and couldn't stop thinking about you for a whole five nights

♡ when you two start dating not much really changes other than the amount of pda you're going to be receiving.. which is A LOT. A LOOOT. constantly gives you little kisses and hugs, unless you have your boundaries set- he'll lay off. that won't stop him from giving you little praises and complimenting you constantly. always wants you to know you're the most beautiful person ever and he LOVES YOU

♡ kenji shows this through gifts and quality time, too. loves to walk around yokohama with you to show you his favorite places and will buy you things that reminded him of you. not before you tell him where you'd like to go, however. always puts you before himself

♡ he's just a lovestruck boy who loves you so so dearly and is always prepared to show it. will never get tired or bored of you/what you have to say and kenji will always be there to indulge in your hobbies with you or just spend some time together.
