Thinking about laying in bed with them for the first time.
---------♡
You're facing each other, just letting your gaze wander along them -mostly along their face- and admiring them. Your hands are clasped together under your head and your legs are bent just enough for your knees to brush against their pants.
You don't realize it but you're smiling, a bright smile that emphasizes the crinkle at the corner of your eyes and the crease of your smile lines. Your eyes shine too filled with love for the breath-taking person in front of you.
What beautiful eyes.
"What?" They chuckled, the angelic sound was almost shy.
Your making eye contact now and your brows furrow in confusion. "Huh?" You sighed dreamily.
They chuckled again this time it was a cheeky one. They had a little smirk on their face, eyes crinkled and squinted with love just as yours were.
Their fingers brush the hair from your face and you sigh in contentment as you feel their fingertips drag along your face, thumb brushing back and forth against the skin it stops on, "you said I had beautiful eyes... do you really think so?" The question left their lips in a whisper.
You smile again.
Your hand moves to mirror theirs and you place it against the skin of their cheek.
"Yeah, the most beautiful."

Thanks for requesting babe!
Robin Buckley x fem!reader ♡ 1.1k words
You have no idea how Robin managed to get Keith to let three of you work the Saturday shift, but you owe her your life for it.
Normally, you end up by yourself, uneventful weekday nights where you organize and reorganize the clearance section, talking to yourself since the last time you brought a book and Keith’s boss caught you on the cameras you got chewed out.
Robin and Steve have a routine of their own. They pulled a hidden stock of snacks out of the break room, gossipped about who had borrowed what movies for how long and what that meant, made up ridiculous life stories for the customers that came in. Then Dustin had come over and Robin had relegated the boys to the back room. You like Steve, but you’re not mad about it; having Robin all to yourself makes your stomach do flips like it does on a rollercoaster.
“Okay,” she says in a low voice, eyes tracking a customer who’s just wandered into the teen section. You’ve hopped up on the counter, sitting with your back to the door and your legs dangling, and her elbow is about three inches from touching your thigh. “The guy in the tank top. What do we think about him?”
“He looks like he just rolled out of bed.” Which isn’t unreasonable, because it’s only ten. “Who comes to rent a movie first thing in the morning?”
“Someone desperate,” Robin agrees. You’re both leaning in as you talk in near-whispers, but that distance between her arm and your leg stays.
You hum. “He could have kids.”
“Does he really look like someone who has kids?”
“I don’t know what people who have kids look like. I guess there’s probably a variety.”
“Fair…” She kisses her teeth as she watches him, big eyes narrowed sneakily. “I don’t know, I think he’s horny.”
Your laugh is so loud and sudden you have to clamp a hand over your mouth. A customer browsing near you gives you an odd look, and you murmur an apology. Robin looks delighted.
“Why would you think that?” you hiss at her. “He’s just looking for a movie.”
Her expressions turns sheepish, complete with a cute half-smile that makes your brain buzz distractingly. “It’s possible I have some information you don’t.”
You lean back on your hands and tilt your head, looking at her curiously.
Robin leans in close. “He rented Fast Times five days ago and hasn’t returned it.”
Her eyes are sparkling with amusement. With great effort you tear your gaze from them, looking past her at the man. “Oh,” you say, “yeah, I see it. He looks like he hasn’t shaved in days. I’ll bet he’s been locked in his mom’s basement watching the pool scene on repeat.”
She turns her head down toward your leg to hide a smile, and her laugh tickles down your spine like a grazing touch. You have to trap your bottom lip between your teeth to keep your own grin from getting too out of hand.
“This is fun,” you blurt. Or, it feels like a blurt, but Robin doesn’t seem to note your abruptness, only turning her eyes up to yours curiously. “Hanging out, I mean. I wish we worked the same shifts more often.”
“Yeah, I—it is fun.” Robin’s smile gets a funny look to it, her gaze flitting down to the counter. “I’d rather work with you than Steve anytime. Not that you’re, like, only just better than Steve, obviously you’re tons better than him, I just meant that—Steve, he’s actually not terrible, I mean he’s probably my best friend, and he and I hang out outside work all the time, so—” She presses her lips together as if physically stopping herself. You chew your bottom lip. “Basically, I like hanging out with you even more than him, which is…not as low a bar as you might think.”
“I don’t think that’s a low bar,” you say through a smile. “Steve seems cool.”
She scoffs. “He’s not. Don’t let him think you think that.”
“He seems nice, I mean. Nicer than he was in high school.”
“Exactly.” Robin lifts her stare to yours again, something like relief in it. “Yeah, he’s…better. He, like, had a spiritual change or something.”
“Maybe he found good influences.” You nudge her leg with the toe of your shoe. She makes a scratchy laughing sound, looking away from you again.
“We hang out a lot outside of work,” she says.
“You mentioned that.”
“We could try that.”
You blink, her candor cutting through the light and flirty feeling you’ve fallen into like a knife.
“You and me?”
“Yeah.” Her eyes find yours. “Like, if you wanted to hang out more, we don’t have to—I mean, we could, totally, we just don’t have to—do it here. At the store.” Her throat bobs so quick you almost miss it. Your chest feels tight, but not entirely unpleasantly. “We could go to the movies, or to get pizza, or to the roller rink—I don’t actually really know what you like to do, but you have to like movies, right? We could definitely watch a movie.”
There’s a commotion in your stomach. You want to look down and check again the distance between her arm and your thigh, but for some reason now it feels like too much of a risk. “Like, with Steve?” you ask.
Robin’s nose wrinkles. “Definitely not with Steve.”
“So, just us.”
In the corner of your eye, you see her hands flex on the countertop. “If you want,” she says quietly.
You wet your lips. When you take a second too long to answer, she goes on, “Or we could totally invite other people, if that’s what you want to do.”
“No,” you say quickly. “Just us is…is good.”
“Really?” Robin sounds so surprised you can’t help but smile. She smiles back, tentatively, like she’s not one-hundred percent sure if she’s in on the joke but she’s happy if you’re happy.
“Yeah.” You lower your voice, glancing around the store. You’d nearly forgotten you were in public. You think for a second you catch Steve looking, but he directs his stare to the movies he’s organizing, smiling to himself and waving off something Dustin’s said. “I’m not doing anything tomorrow, if you want to see what’s showing then.”
Robin grins, huge and heart-stutteringly pretty. It shows all her teeth and little lines shoot out from her eyes like rays of sunshine. “Do you like thrillers?”
“Sure.” No.
She leans forward conspiratorially, and it takes every ounce of willpower you possess not to look down when you feel her skin make contact with the side of your thigh. Your heart starts beating hummingbird fast. “Perfect.”

In a bustling hallway of Hawkins High, you nervously navigate your first day, feeling lost among the sea of unfamiliar faces. Until a sweet voice calls out.
"You look lost. Need a hand?"
Looking up, you didn't know what to say at first. She was the first person to talk to you, even with all the kids around you. No one paid you the time of day, too caught up in their own highschool drama.
The girl offers a smile, pointing towards the paper with your classes. You nervously chuckle, handing the paper over. She quickly glanced at it, before dragging you to the first class, which you so happened to have together.
She was nice and funny. It was easy to get along with her. When she wasn't talking about the newest thing or telling you about the school and people in it, she was listening to you and your story of how you ended up in Hawkins. She listened. Something not many teenagers do.
It didn't take long for you two to become close. You walked together in the halls, did homework together, went over to each other's houses, called after school, kept each other updated on the drama that happened in the classes you don't have together. It was amazing to have someone to talk to after moving to a new town.
It was torture for Robin.
Don't get her wrong, she adored you. Maybe even a little too much.
She started off seeing you as a friend. You were nice and funny. But apparently that's her type. She started noticing how you put your hair behind your ear as you smiled, the creases next to your lips as you smile- how your eyes crinkle as well. She loved the color red on you. She wanted to spend every moment with you.
It was unhealthy, she thought. It wouldn't cause anything but trouble. But she wasn't one to just end something. Especially when it meant so much to not only her, but you. Was she just supposed to drop you one day? Leave you alone in the sea of sharks? She wasn't that type of person, so she'd have to endure the unspoken rejection.
"That doesn't make sense." Robin watched your eyebrows furrow, not noticing her lips lightly pull into an amused grin. You were adorable when confused. "Biology is a bitch."
"couldn't agree more." She shut her book, pulling her bag from beside your bed and started putting everything in it.
"what're you doing? I thought we had more to study?" There you were, making it hard for her to just see you as a friend. With your pretty eyes, lips, cheeks.
"I have errands to run. Sorry." She stood, moving to put her backpack on.
"are you going to walk? I drove you here."
Robin stumbled over her words. She forgot about that, even with her standing in your room. There's no way she was going to stay there , inhaling your smell that was on everything. It was torture. "It's not that far of a walk."
You stood, smiling as you walked over to your desk chair, putting your jacket on. "Don't be silly. I need fresh air anyway."
"No."
You paused with one arm in your jacket. "What?"
She sighed, looking up at your ceiling. "I just...I just need some time away from you." Ouch. She could've worded that better. Didn't stop it from being true.
"oh-yeah...yeah of course." Your jacket fell from your arm, landing back in the seat of the chair. "It is a long walk though. I can get my mom to take you home."
Robin sighed, "Why do you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Care so much."
You walked over to your bed and slumped down on it, looking at her confused. "Because you're my friend? I'm supposed to care."
She nodded slowly, biting her lip. "Why do you have to? You make it so much harder than it has to be."
"I'm confused, Robin."
"I shouldn't feel this way about you."
It was quiet for a moment, until you broke it with a whisper. "What way?"
Llike I like you." Robin managed to spit out, instantly regretting it as your face dropped.
"Robin..."
She was quick to make her way to your door, grabbing the handle. "I'm just going to go-"
"You don't have to. We can talk this out-please don't go."
"I made things awkward."
"No you didn't."
She felt a hand on her elbow, too scared to turn around. You were right there, with her secret just aired out. Were you going to laugh at her? Spread it around school? She knew you weren't the type, but you can't be too sure.
"I like you too, Robin."
"Really?" She hated how fast she asked, but didn't care when she met your eyes. You offered her a sweet smile, eyes crinkling and all.
"Yeah, I didn't know if it was romantic feelings or not. But after Tonight, I kind of got my answer. I really, really like you."
"In that case," he backpack slid to the floor, her arms going around you. "I don't have errands."
"Good," you grabbed her hand, turning and dragging her back towards your bed and the open book that laid on your covers. "I still need to help with biology."
"Why must you torture me?"

An idea that popped in my head before bed. I hope you guys enjoy it! Been a bit since I've written my own Robin idea so I hope it's worth the read 🫶🏻🩷
Robin writes a love note for Vickie but accidentally puts it in Readers locker
Wrong locker
Tumblr media
Robin has been trying to figure out the best way to confess her feelings to Vickie. Robin figured since she couldn't even speak a word to the pretty redhead in general, writing down her feelings would be best. But Robin didn't want to sound like a crazy stalker so she settled for a simple love note.
Robin took a deep breath as she walked to Vickie's locker, she slipped the pink paper in the small cracks. She held her breath as the note dropped in. The sound of the bell had her racing to the other side of the hallway. She tried to look busy but kept her eye on the locker.
She smiled as Vickie walked up, but her stomach dropped when she noticed Vickie was opening the locker next to the one with the note. Robin panicked, whose locker was the note in?
Fear filled Robin's bones as Y/N walked up. The girl's atmosphere was terrifying. Her leather jacket smelled of cigarettes and perfume. Her healed black boots echoed down the halls. Her tight jeans framed her body along with her tight band T-shirt. She was intimating, and she liked to be. Her sharp eyes glared at anyone who looked at her. A snarl on her lips if anyone bothered to talk near her.
Robin felt like she wanted to die when Y/N opened her locker, the pink note falling to Y/N's feet. Robin prayed she wouldn't pick it up, maybe stomp on it and move on.
But no, Y/N picked up the note. Robin was stuck in her spot, she needed to run but she couldn't move.
Y/N tried to keep the smile off her face. No one has seen her smile and that wasn't going to change. But she couldn't help but feel her heart flutter at the sweet note. She knew she was intimidating and scared people off. But she's never had someone see her in such a romantic way.
She knew of Robin Buckley, the cute bandgirl. Y/N played on the volleyball team and the band always played at their games. Was Robin watching her the whole time?
Y/N put the note in her pocket, closing her locker. She turned around to walk to class when she spotted Robin staring. Once they made eye contact, Robin looked down at her shoes.
Please don't walk up to me
Please please please
"Hey Buckley," Y/N's voice ran shivers up Robin's spine. She gulped and looked up. Y/N stood in front of her, her confident frame stood tall.
"I'm sorry! The note was-" Robin went to explain what happened but Y/N cut her off.
"The note was very sweet. Thank you, it made my day. I'll call you." Y/N said, a smirk on her face as she took in Robin's nervous frame.
Robin didn't dare to breath until Y/N strutted off.
~~~
"And turns out it was the wrong locker!" Robin explained, her voice wavering between pitches. Her nervous hands were shaking as she told the story to Steve.
Steve nodded along with his arms crossed. Robin tended to talk throughout their shifts and not do any work. So Steve picked up the slack. But the place was dead so gossip time took full attention.
"Whose did it end up in?" Steve asked, he uncrossed his arms as he reached to grab his drink.
"Y/N."
Steve's eyes went wide and his water flew out of his mouth. Steve was a grade above Y/N throughout high school, and even he was terrified of her. He prayed he'd never run into her after graduation. Her sneer and hard eyes kept him up at night. He still has nightmares about the day he ran into her, his hot coffee staining her shirt. Steve could almost feel the bruises on his cheek forming again.
"You're fucked!" Steve said.
"Dingus! Don't you think I know that? She said she was going to call me! What the hell do I do?" Robin panicked.
"Maybe she won't call you! Let's not stress about anything yet." Steve said
~~~
Robin sighed in relief when she crawled into bed, not a single phone call from Y/N. Maybe Y/N just wanted to make Robin nervous and never planned to do anything about the note.
Ring
Ring
Ring
Robin gulped as she picked up the phone, she hoped more than anything that Steve was calling about his lame date.
"Sorry, gorgeous. Volleyball went very late." Y/N's voice traveled through the phone, and it still made Robin nervous.
"It's okay." Robin gulped, her fingers playing with the telephone cord.
"I know this place downtown, maybe Friday night after the game, we can go?"
Robin tried to say no, all she had to do was explain the mix-up. But she was scared of Y/N's reaction. One date couldn't hurt, maybe Y/N would realize how boring Robin was and wouldn't be interested.
~~~
Robin packed up her instrument, talking with Vickie about the game. Robin tried her best to keep the conversation going.
"Ready gorgeous?" Y/N asked. Robin couldn't help but blush at the nickname being said to her face. Y/N was sweaty and panting from the game, and Robin couldn't help but find it hot.
"Yeah just gotta pack up." Robin rushed out, her eyes meeting Y/N's for one quick second.
"Okay. I'm going to change then I'll meet you in the parking lot?" Y/N suggested. Robin nodded and felt the air return to her lungs when she walked away.
"What's going on?" Vickie asked, she didn't bother to hide how shocked she was.
"She kinda asked me out." Robin shrugged.
"Oh, cool," Vickie said, but Robin couldn't help but notice how displeased Vickie looked about the news. Was she jealous?
~~~
Robin tried not to stare at Y/N as they walked into the bar, but Y/N looked hot in her tight black jeans, tank top, and signature leather jacket. Robin tried to ignore how sweaty her palms were.
Robin was confused about why they'd go to a bar when they weren't of age, but Y/N knew the bartender it seemed. Y/N walked to the back booth, near a pool table.
Y/N had a beer and Robin had an iced tea. Y/N made good conversation and Robin was surprised by the things they had in common. Robin found herself enjoying Y/N's presence.
A few hours passed and Robin swung her feet as Y/N played pool. Robin didn't know how to play and she did not want to look like an idiot in front of Y/N.
"Come here and just try!" Y/N encouraged, she's been trying to get Robin to play for the last hour. But Robin kept shaking her head.
Y/N gave up on convincing Robin, instead, she'd make Robin do it.
Robin gulped as Y/N grabbed her hand and lifted her off the stool.
"No, I'm not any good!" Robin tried but Y/N shushed her. Y/N placed the stick in Robin's hand, stood behind her, and corrected her form. Robin couldn't help but feel slightly turned on as Y/N's body was pressed against her back. The feeling of Y/N's breath against her ear, and Y/N's arms wrapped around her, made Robin feel fuzzy.
Robin took a deep breath, letting Y/N guide her to hit the small white ball. Robin watched as the stick hit the ball, it rolled and rolled until it smacked into a red ball, disappearing into the corner.
"You did it!" Y/N cheered, Robin couldn't help but get lost in her dazzling smile. At that moment Y/N didn't seem so scary and intimidating. She looked beautiful and happy.
~~~
A few weeks passed and Robin cursed herself for leading Y/N on. Robin couldn't help but be swept up in all the dates and how special Y/N made her feel. It made Robin wonder why she never looked at Y/N in the first place.
But Robin was tugged between Vickie as well. The girl the note was made for. It seemed Vickie was jealous of all the dates between Robin and Y/N. Robin remembered the hard look in Vickie's eyes when she showed up in Y/N's jacket.
"Are you cold?" Y/N asked, her hand laced with Robin's as they walked through the carnival. Robin wore a thin long sleeve, not expecting the wind to be chilly.
"No, I'm fine!" Robin argued, but the shivering of her teeth and tight shoulders gave her up.
Y/N smiled and took off her jacket, placing the warm leather over Robin's shoulders. Immediately lacing their hands together again.
A jacket Robin still hasn't given back. She wore it every day to school. To make Vickie jealous? Or to have pride she got Y/N to go soft? She wasn't sure.
She felt torn between both girls.
~~~
"Do you like her?" Steve asked, he felt bad for the situation Robin got herself in.
"I think so? But I don't know if I like her because she makes Vickie jealous." Robin explained. She was stuck in her personal hell.
"Well if Vickie's jealous, it means she has feelings for you. So you have your answer. Vickie is interested and single. Do you want to go after her? Or stay with Y/N?"
"I think I want Vickie. I mean the note was meant for her but I'm afraid if Y/N finds out the note was for Vickie, she'll snap me in half " Or maybe she was worried it would snap Y/N in half.
~~~
Robin sat across Y/N as she sipped on a milkshake. Robin's stomach hurt too much to enjoy the sweetness.
"Are you okay? You look like you might be sick." Y/N said, her milkshake pushed to the side as she reached across for Robin's hand. Robin gulped as Y/N's soft thumb rubbed her skin.
Just say it, Robin repeated in her head. She needed to tell the truth before Y/N truly fell for Robin.
"I need to tell you something," Robin said, her free hand gripping the leather jacket by her lap. Y/N encouraged her with a small smile.
"Remember the note?"
"Of course I do." Y/N smiled
"I put it in the wrong locker," Robin said quickly, wincing as the words finally were put into the air.
"What do you mean?" Y/N asked, her head turned as she tried to understand.
"I wrote the note for Vickie and I was scared to tell you. " Robin looked up to catch Y/N's reaction. The smile turned upside down as a frown covered its place. Robin has never seen so much emotion on Y/N's face. And just like she feared, the terrifying hard mask appeared on Y/N's face.
Robin tried not to flinch as Y/N removed her hand and moved it quickly into her lap. Robin's palm smacked the table. As always, Robin ran her mouth until she made it worse.
"And I just didn't want to hurt you! And I was a little scared you'd break me in half. So I went along with the date, not expecting you'd like me! Because like I'm me and I'm so boring compared to you. I figured you'd see dating me was blah and wouldn't be interested. But then you asked for more dates and I was-"
"Scared to say no, yeah got it." Y/N barked. She was an idiot to believe someone saw her as something else than a scary monster that lurked in the halls. All this time, she thought Robin saw something in her, something worth liking and learning to love. But no, Robin was scared just like everyone else.
Y/N refused to let how upset she was shown on her face. She shook it off and grabbed her wallet. She slammed down some bills on the table, the harsh air hitting Robin's hand, she flinched again.
Robin was scared to look up as Y/N stood up. She was too scared to see the look on Y/N's face.
"Look at me," Y/N growled, Robin swallowed nervously and looked up. But there was a softness in Y/N's eyes.
"You're not boring, and you're not blah. You're funny, fun, and beautiful. Don't think so low of yourself. Next time, make sure the note goes in the right locker. I'll see you around Buckley."
Robin didn't know what to say. Y/N walked off, leaving her jacket with Robin.
~~~
Robin barely slept that night. She felt so guilty, and not all relieved. She thought telling Y/N would take the weight off her shoulders, but it was the opposite. The weight on her shoulders now crushed down on her chest.
Y/N's jacket thrown over Robin's desk chair was a painful reminder she had to see Y/N again.
The next morning, Robin held the jacket in her arms as she walked up to Y/N's locker.
"Um hey," Robin said quietly, Y/N and Vickie looked up at the sound of her voice. Robin shrunk under the gaze of both girls.
Y/N figured she was talking to Vickie so she turned back around to her locker.
Robin couldn't help but feel like she was slapped in the face as Y/N ignored her completely.
"I have your jacket." She said, tapping Y/N's shoulder. Y/N turned around, grabbed the jacket, and slipped it back on her body. In a way Robin felt a weird feeling of pride. She knew it was Y/N's jacket in the first place, but Robin wore it for weeks to where it almost felt like hers. It felt like Y/N was wearing Robin's jacket.
"Thanks," Y/N muttered the locker behind her slammed shut as she quickly walked off. Y/N couldn't watch Robin and Vickie talk about their feelings.
"Yikes, she's back to cold." Vickie observed.
"Yeah I kinda broke things off," Robin explained, a feeling in her stomach as Vickie tried to fight off a smile.
"Oh that's too bad!" Vickie said, but Robin could hear the excitement in her voice. "What happened?"
"I wrote this note to ask you out and I accidentally put it in her locker. I've been too scared to tell her but I finally did. And I think she hates me." Robin said, looking over her shoulder but Y/N was long gone.
"Ask me out?" Vickie asked, a smile on her face.
"Yeah," Robin said with a smile. Her face warmed when Vickie reached forward to lace their hands together. Robin couldn't help but notice Vickie's grip wasn't as tight and safe as Y/N's. Robin didn't feel like she was protected like the way she did in Y/N's hands.
"I'd love to!" Vickie cheered, both girls sharing a bright smile.
But Robin couldn't help but feel an unsettling feeling in her stomach.
~~~
It didn't take long for Robin and Vickie to officially be together. Steve was proud of Robin for finally making a choice, but even he couldn't help but feel like it was the wrong one.
Robin spent every minute with Vickie, searching for the fluttering in her stomach that she had with Y/N. Robin thought it was fear but maybe it was excitement.
Robin tried to fight off the frown on her face when Y/N passed her in the halls. No more warm smile sent her way. Just a hard look, the same look she gave everyone else.
Was Vickie the right choice?
Puppy Love
Robin Buckley x Fem! reader
Summary: Robin thinks you're the cutest thing to walk this earth.
Warnings: none.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin could feel her heartbeat through her chest, a fast pounding that picked up the pace at the sound of light knocks at her trailer door. she exhaled softly, hoping to relieve some of the anxiety as she smoothed down her hair and jacket.
she didn't know why she still felt this way, you'd been her girlfriend for coming up a year now and she thought that her feelings would fade. that's what the movies said should happen when you're a teenager.
you fall in love, become infatuated, get bored and then the feelings fade. puppy love is what they called it.
her hand tugged open the door, a giddy smile plastered on her face. "hiya baby." she hummed, arms wrapping round your waist. "hey robs" you whispered back, nuzzling your face into her hair, the smell of her strawberry scented shampoo immediately making your body relax.
"I took some tapes from work, we can watch one and eat popcorn? I think I've got a spare pack in the back of the cupboard somewhere' she says, moving to take your coat from you and hanging it up by the door. "yeah that sounds great robs"
she watches as you sit down, smiling at her as she kneels in front of you and begins unlacing your shoes. Robin had made a point of telling you that she enjoys doing the simple things for you. like taking your coat, helping you take off your shoes, getting you drinks. a true gentlewoman.
a few minutes later, she approached the couch where you lay sprawled out, the remote to the TV in your hand as a tape of 'The Karate Kid' plays and places a bowl of popcorn on the coffee table before sitting next to you.
you press a chaste kiss to her lips, feeling her smile press up against you. another to her left cheek, in which she instinctively places a hand on the small of your back. one against the now rosy red tip of her nose, drawing out a giggle from her. and finally her forehead.
"god baby, you're so pretty" she smiled, freckled cheeks rosy as a love sick glint in her eyes shine as they locked with yours.
"nah, you're much prettier" you reply, making her look away bashfully, another giggling fit coming from her. you scoff and roll your eyes.
'no, this wasn't puppy love', you thought, I don't think this will ever fade.
Play wrestling with your gf Robin Buckley, but Steve walks in and practically shrieks because he thinks you two are doing something wildly different
In Steve's defense, you are biting Robin's thigh. But you're biting her thigh to overpower her, which- doesn't sound much better. But you're wrestling - really wrestling, not wrestling.
You've got her pinned to the wall, and you'd dropped to your knees to gnaw at the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. The pinch from your teeth is meant to make her knees give out, and once she's on the floor you'll grab her wrists and pin them to her back. Then you'll declare yourself the winner before she can escape. It's meant to be a foolproof plan, but- well, Steve Harrington has been called a fool before. Perhaps no plan is foolproof enough for him.
He's accustomed to walking into Robin's room like it's his own, but this time you're sure he wishes he'd knocked. He finds you kneeling between Robin's legs, face buried in her thigh a little too close to what's between them for Steve's comfort.
He screams. He screams, and slaps a hand over his eyes, and stumbles backwards all at once, which means he goes tumbling back down Robin's staircase. Her bedroom is right at the top of it, and the hallway is evidently not wide enough for Steve to stop in before he falls right back down the way that he came.
You both dart to the staircase and watch as he lands at the base with a sickening thud, and a groan that you've come to associate with visits to the emergency room.
"Steve?" Robin calls, feet pounding against the stairs as she races to his side. She prods at his temple, and when he grumbles something incoherent in response, she lifts his head off of the floor. She cradles it in her hands, checking for his pulse, "Steve, can you hear me?"
"Yes, dipshit, stop poking me," He swats her hand away when he regains the wind that was knocked out of him, and he sits up while glaring at you where you stand at the top of the staircase.
"That was fucking disgusting." He accuses. You're fairly certain you have the right to do whatever you want with your girlfriend in her own home, but you'd just caused Steve possible brain damage, so you don't point that out.
"We were play-fighting," Robin huffs, rubbing the back of her hand where Steve had smacked her, "You're the one who didn't knock."
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I've been your best friend for two years," Steve gripes, struggling to his feet and rubbing at the back of his head where you presume it hit a step, "I didn't know I had to alert the presses to my arrival. Listen- you two," He turns his glare back to you, "I'm- happy for you, okay? But don't- don't ever do that shit again. Close the door, put a sock on it, put up a sign, I don't care, just- never again."
Steve chooses to ignore your rather snippy 'Yes, sir,' in favor of exaggerating a wince as he prods at a sensitive spot near the base of his neck. "Un-fucking-believable," He scoffs, "Another concussion, and this one didn't even come from an interdimensional monster.
(a/n; sorry if this is shit, i wrote it at 1:35 am.)
robin rubs her eyes lazily, slowly waking up from her slumber. she yawns quietly, turning over to face your sleeping form. the girl leans forward, pressing a soft, gentle kiss to your forehead, smiling softly as she notices you stirring awake. “morning, princess….” she murmurs, looking down at you lovingly. you open your (y/e/c) eyes slowly, grinning up at her. “good morning, beautiful.” you whisper, sitting up a bit and kissing her lips sweetly. she smiles against your lips, pulling you into her arms. you both cosy up against each other, wrapping the covers over the both of you. as the two of you snuggle up together in the warmth, the light rain outside mists up the bedroom window. robin bites her bottom lip, smiling, and reaches over to draw a heart on the window with her finger, intertwining her soft hand with yours after.
pairing: robin buckley x fem!reader
summary: robin falls head over heels for the cool girl renting horror movies at family video. steve can’t believe her awkward shyness is actually landing her a date, but he’s happy for her nonetheless.
word count: idk kinda short lol under 1K
notes: just wanted to write a little blurb, then it turned into something else, so enjoy this short little meet cute with robin ♡
normal sized font below!
Tumblr media
Robin really is that love at first sight kinda girl.
She’s the type of girl to be busy sorting tapes at family video, when you walk in, all pretty femininity and mysterious aura around you. And suddenly she doesn’t know what to do with herself. She doesn’t know where she is, why she’s there, hell, she probably wouldn’t be able to tell you her name if she asked.
She doesn’t stop staring at you, not when you enter and not when you walk over to the horror section to pick something out. Only when Steve nudges her in her side, she snaps out of it, looking more flustered than ever.
“Dude, can you not?”
“Sorry man, it just— looked like you were falling asleep with your eyes open! What’s with you anyways?”
Robin doesn’t respond, simply averting her eyes to the cash register and hoping Steve doesn’t pry any further.
Which would have worked, if you weren’t talking to her right now.
“I’m sorry, can I—“
“Yes! Yes, absolutely, you can…” Robin trails off, realising she hasn’t even let you finish your request. Her own eagerness embarrasses her to no end, her face heating up and her cheeks now closely resembling the colour of a tomato.
To her surprise, you giggle. You’re not awkward about it at all, which somehow makes her fall for you even harder.
“I was gonna ask what the latest time would be when I’d be able to return this.” you smile, and the blonde girl is certain it’s the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen.
“Oh! Yeah, totally, no problem! It’s uh— a great choice, by the way. I love friday the 13th, sooo good, all that horror stuff, a huge fan—“
“A week.” Steve interrupts her rambling.
“Huh?” Robin turns to her friend.
“To answer her question, since you’re too busy being head over heels over here.”
You chuckle again, and Robin genuinely thinks her head is going to explode. Not only is her best friend making fun of her in front of you, but you’re not even making her feel bad about it. It’s like you find it cute or something. How crazy is that?
“Cool, I’ll just uh,” you hold up the tape, “rent this one then.”
Robin rings you up, her hands moving faster than her mind, and she hopes you don’t notice the slight shakiness in them. It’s not every day the prettiest girl in the whole world shows up at her job, so she’s not exactly prepared.
“Thanks,” you take the tape from her along with the receipt, your fingers touching slightly when she slides them over. Now you’re the one who’s getting the butterflies.
“So, you said you were a fan of horror movies?”
Robin nods enthusiastically, while Steve has to bite his tongue to hold back from saying that that’s the biggest lie ever. Robin isn’t a coward, not at all, but she’s the worst at scary movies. She’s just saying all this to impress you. She doubts it’s working though.
“Well, I was gonna watch this alone, but…” you grab a pen off the counter and scribble down your number on the receipt. “If you feel like watching it together, give me a call…” you pause to read her name tag. “Robin.” You smile again. “Nice name.”
“T-Thanks! You uh, you too!”
“Thanks, even though I… Haven’t told you yet.” You write your name down next to the number. “Now you know.”
“Huh…” She reads it over, not being able to keep herself from smiling like she’s sunshine incarnate. “That is a really nice name though.”
You grin, grabbing the tape off the counter and stuffing it in your bag. “Well, Robin, I’m free this Friday, if you wanna take me up on the offer.” You start walking backwards and give her a quick wave. “See y’around.”
She waves back, although more hesitant. Frankly, she’s still processing the entire encounter, and the fact that you’re real. Someone as beautiful as you exists, talked to her, even gave her your number. She didn’t know a reality like that was possible.
“I can’t believe that worked.” Steve scoffs in disbelief, though he’s pretty stoked for Robin all in all. He wants his friend to find her special person as much as he does for himself.
“Yeah,” she stares as you walk off, “me too.”
The freckled girl groans loudly and drops her head into her hands. “Why the fuck did I say any of that? Why do I always just keep talking?”
“I don’t see the big deal Buckley,” her coworker leans against the counter, “you got your date, don’t you?”
“Yeah, but then what? Then what do I do? I might have been able to charm her with my awkward idiocy this time, but what if we watch the movie and she finds out I’m a huge wuss!” She gestures around wildly with her hands, earning a confused stare from one of the older customers.
“This is going to sound so stupid, and I can’t believe I’m saying this,” he runs his hand through his brown locks, “but just like, be yourself? She seems nice enough, I’m sure she won’t judge you for being a total scaredy cat.”
“Not helping, Harrington.” She gives him a defeated look.
“Sorry, you know what I mean.”
“But what if she does?”
“What?”
“What if she does judge me? I mean jesus Steve, I wouldn’t blame her! She’s like— way out of my coolness league! She’s practically doing charity work watching a movie with me.”
Steve scoffs. “Don’t sell yourself short, Buckley, you’re plenty cool. Besides, if she does judge you, then clearly she’s not worth it. But again, I think you’ll be fine.”
“Yeah,” she sighs, already picturing her holding onto you in fear of a completely fictional serial killer. “I guess you’re right.” She goes quiet for a moment, before she’s back to daydreaming about the whole scenario. The two of you on your couch, shoulders touching, maybe an arm around her, hands brushing when you reach for the popcorn, all that sappy stuff…
“Buckley?”
Maybe you’d find it cute that she gets scared. Maybe you’d wanna protect her. She gets that vibe from you, that you’d keep her safe from all the Freddy Kruegers and Jason Voorhees of the world.
“Robin!”
Steve snaps her out of her daydreaming, gesturing towards Keith who’s about to enter the store.
“You two organise those tapes like I asked you to?” Their manager isn’t even looking at them, struggling with putting away his car keys.
Robin swipes the tapes off the counter and stuffs them randomly into the two boxes. That’s a problem for later.
“Yup! All sorted! Good thing I love organising stuff!” She laughs awkwardly, and Steve is fighting for his life trying not to laugh.
She’s got bigger things to worry about right now. Like what to wear for her date with you. And what kind of snacks you like to eat with your movies. And how she’s going to explain that the scariest thing she can handle is Frankenweenie.
brand new obsession.
Tumblr media
pairing: robin buckley x f!reader summary: you have a slight obsession with your girlfriend's hands. word count: 0.9k title: obsession by sir chloe warnings: sexual themes but no smut a/n: it's my wife's birthday so i have to post something for my favourite character of hers <333 (inspired by the middle photo - it lives in my mind rent free)
Tumblr media
“you know they filmed these scenes in real mines? and they could only use certain lighting otherwise the entire thing would of like blown up from a methane explosion. oh, and-”
you hum softly in a half-hearted response as your girlfriend rambles about the movie in front of her. the tv illuminates the darkened space of her living room, playing ‘my bloody valentine’ on the screen. the very movie robin insisted on watching for this week’s movie night after you revealed that the half-dressed woman in the opening scene was the catalyst for your gay awakening in 8th grade.
you're sprawled out on her couch, legs pressed together as you rest against her body, cheek pressed against her shoulder. the blanket once draped across your laps now left abandoned on the floor as the only warmth you need is the embrace of the other. but despite the rapid speed of which random facts and critiques tumble from her lips, your attention is completely elsewhere.
as the other moves emphatically with her words, robin’s hand keeps a firm grip on your bare thigh. the shorts you’re wearing hiking up your legs, allowing her fingers to spread across the expanse of exposed skin. and god, does it send your mind reeling.
now, there are an infinite number of things you loved about your girlfriend. from the dusting of her freckles on her shoulders like twinkling stars among the night sky to the scar on her knee from a playground accident when she was six, all these small things culminated into your unconditional adoration for the girl. but nothing could quite compare to her hands.
the way her slender fingers grasp your thigh, feeling the cool metal of her rings against your burning skin that make goosebumps rise on your leg. you're entranced, fixated on the dips of her knuckles or the way her veins pop as her grip tightens when a particularly important statement leaves her lips. you swallow a lump in your throat as her hand moves, almost kneading the soft flesh as she talks passionately. your surroundings muffle, the tv now a distant murmur, biting your lip as a haziness clouds over your mind. head empty except for the ideas filling your head of ways to put her hands to better use, like when she-
“babe?”
“hm?” your head snaps to look up at her, eyelashes fluttering as you blink slowly. once, twice to regain your train of thought. “sorry, what were you saying?”
“nuh uh.” robin shakes her head, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. the hand that had previously been waving around erratically now reaches over to settle on your cheek, cradling the side of your face. “what's got you so distracted, hm?” i thought you liked this movie?”
“i do…” you murmur, nuzzling your cheek into her hand. your head tilts, your eyes locked on hers as your lips press against her palm.
she hums at the contact, stroking your cheekbone with the pad of her thumb as your lips brush against her warm skin. it almost makes her forget what she was saying until her eyes narrow, focusing on the tinge of embarrassment that flushes your cheeks. she leans in closer, her lips grazing the shell of your ear and hot breath fanning across it as she whispers, “so… what is it?”
a huff of air escapes your lips, your head tilting to the side to look around the room. at anything but her to hide the flush that creeps up your cheeks and tints the tip of your ears a deep red. however, you hear a small noise of protest fall from her lips, close to a whine, before she’s gently guiding your head to look at her once again. In a desperate attempt to avoid direct eye contact, your gaze flickers around before they inevitably fall to the culprit of your preoccupied mind. the hand that still firmly grips your thigh. her inquisitive stare follows, and from the corner of your eye you can see the smirk that curls on her lips. and in that second, you are caught.
“oh.. so that’s it?” her voice lowers, sending a shiver down your spine at the deep rasp of your girlfriend’s voice.  you feel her shoulders shake with the chuckle that leaves her lips, your entire face feeling like it’s burning from the embarrassment that fills you. it doesn’t help when she squeezes your thigh experimentally, nails lightly digging into plush flesh. and it especially does not help when it elicits a small whimper from your lips.
you feel her hand pause, and you can practically hear the shit-eating grin that spreads across her lips. your face buries into her shoulder, cheeks almost exuding heat from the pure humiliation.
“shut up.” you grumble into the fabric of her shirt, evoking another chuckle from the girl.
“i haven’t said anything, baby. you’re the one drooling over my hands.” “robin!” you gasp sharply, head shooting up as you smack your hand against her chest. said girl bursts into a fit of laughter, wrapping her arms around your waist to pull you into her embrace. you can’t help yourself when you begin to laugh yourself, head buried in her chest that vibrates with every giggle that leaves her lips.
you both sink into each other’s arms, cheeks aching from the wide grins resting on your lips as your laughter eventually drifts off into a comfortable silence. you let out a soft sigh, heavy with contentment, as robin’s hands drift down your back, inching down to your hips. you feel her lips press against the crown of your head before she leans down further, breath tickling your ear.
“you know… i think my hands would look better somewhere else.”
the party was always at steve's, for obvious reasons. steve left you to your usual antics, banking on the fact that you'd come out of the closet sooner or later.
"no way!" robin says, shaking her head. "yes, way," he disagrees. robin has been childhood friends with you for as long as you can remember, and steve knows there has to be more to it. his supporting argument is that of vickie, who paused fast times at-
"yes, steve-i know, i know!" she protests, nursing the drink she hasn't even taken a sip of, the liquid sloshing around in her solo cup. she's debating taking a sip of it now since he's babbling, but she opts against it. "but she's not like that. she's just..i don't know, having fun?" she shrugs, wincing. her argument is weak, and she knows it, but hopeful nonetheless. steve dismisses her with a wave of his hand, a humored expression on his features.
about an hour later, you've made your rounds-kissed nearly every girl in the room that would let you.
and then you make your way to robin.
she looks like a deer in headlights, sliding over on the couch seconds before you flop onto it, scooching in next to her. "hi." you say. "hi," she responds. your cup is empty, and you place it on the coffee table in front of you both. "why d'you never let me kiss you, buckley?" you ask, sing-songy. "been friends with me forever," you say, "feels like a rite of passage."
robin could puke up her nerves.
"uh, well-you've never like, asked me, or anything-"
"but you avoid me." you point out, finger wagging.
as if robin didn't feel like a deer in headlights enough, she certainly looks it; pale as a ghost with eyes blown wide. "i don't mean to," she says, acknowledging that it's a confession. "i just..i dunno, man." she laughs halfheartedly, and you join in, soft giggles spilling from you as you lean into the couch. your side is pressed against the cushions, turned so you can face her. her back is firm against the cushions, glancing over at you.
"dunno what?" you ask, and she shrugs, mouth agape with a growing grin. "listen, not to slut shame-like, at all-" she quickly clarifies, sitting up more as she turns to face you, too. "you just..kiss..everyone?" she poses it as a question, though both of you already know the answer.
you nod.
"and..i just..didn't wanna be a party trick, y'know?" she grimaces, bracing for verbal impact that she's certain will come from your mouth. but you shrug.
she's right.
"i guess i never thought of it that way." you say, and suddenly it all seems so confusing. "but..boys get to kiss whoever they want.." you say, and robin laughs. "yeah, man. fuck the patriarchy, right?" she says, her frivolous humor charming you. it's only then that you notice how her eyes look, beautifully hazed when she's not blowing her pupils out from an anticipatory scolding due to her antics. suddenly, everything else seems like white noise.
"but..i kiss who i want, too." you say, and robin deflates, knowing she hasn't made the cut. "f'course you do!" she quickly encourages, faux perkiness embodying her. "and you should, i mean-" she rambles, but you quickly cut her off. "i mean," you clarify, "girls."
robin freezes, and she tries to stop you before you can get any further, knowing she happened to get lucky with how steve reacted to her coming out; knowing that he was the exception. "don't-" she quickly hushes, clasping her hands gently over your own, that rest in your lap. it sends a flurry of butterflies to nestle in the pit of your stomach, and you exhale shakily through your nose. "robin, i mean it." you say, sincerely. your buzz has certainly worn off, and you can feel each nerve trembling in your body
"i want to kiss you."
"..oh," she says, feeling like what she can only imagine steve felt like, but better. you cup her face, and she mirrors you, rubbing her thumb along your cheek. it's the closest to heaven she's ever felt, and she's terrified she'll never feel it again. "please, don't make a mistake-" she tries, and you press your lips to hers.
it's gentle; soft and slow, tender and fragile. robin's fingers rake gently along the side of your head, tucking your hair behind your ear. you lean into her touch, nearly sitting in her lap as she cradles you closer. your lips part, only to meet one, two..three more times, molding together as if they're made for each other. everyone is too occupied with their own lives, own conversations, to even pay attention to the two of you.
except steve; who glances over as he passes, a softened expression that harbors pride.
you finally part from robin, still tangled in her arms as you study her features. "i don't think any of it was a party trick.." you say, sincerely. robin's brows furrow, curious. "i think i was just..working up the nerve to actually kiss the girl i've wanted." you confess, cheeks warm and flushed. "yeah?" she coos, a grin growing on her features as she continues to rake her fingers gently through your hair. "i've never kissed a girl. ever." she confesses, "so..i guess you could say i've been waiting for you, too." your heart feels like it grows three sizes, threatening to pummel out of your chest.
"be with me," you say, and who is she to refuse? "always have been." she says, pulling you closer as you both melt into the couch. "always will be."
You were lounging on the couch in just a bra and shorts as the Indiana heat ran ramped through your house even with the AC on but it didn’t seem to be helping so you were laid out on the crappy leather couch your parents bought when leather was still in style. You hummed to the music coming from the radio as you flipped through Vogue when the doorbell startled you from your heat induced daze. You got off the couch, the leather sticking to your bare skin slightly as you got up. You walked to the door and opened it up revealing your somewhat sweaty girlfriend, Robin, and she smiled as her eyes landed on you.
Her eyes widened as she realized that you were just in a lace bra and shorts and she gaped. “Baby, you’re practically naked. I don’t want the neighbors seeing you.” Robin rambled as she pushed you inside and closed the door.
“Robs, no one is stupid enough to be outside right now.” You giggled and pulled her up the stairs and to your room. Your parents were out of town so you and Robin had the place to yourselves. You opened the door and she dragged you in before kicking it shut and she kissed you passionately. You smiled against her lips as she cupped your face and you two fell back on the bed. You pulled away to straddle her hips and help her shove her shirt over her head and toss it somewhere in your room. You giggled as you cupped her breasts and squeezed them gently. “God, I love your boobies.”
She grimaced at the word, “You know I hate that word.”
“What word? “Boobies”?” You asked with a playful smile and she rolled her eyes.
“Yes that word.”
“But I love your boobies.” You giggled and leaned down to kiss on her chest and you reached under her and undid her bra before throwing it in the room. You leaned down and licked in between her breasts then you traced your tongue up each one before sucking one nipple into your mouth.
“Mm, your mouth feels good.” She moaned as she ran her hands through your hair as you continued to lick and suck hickies into her soft skin. You suckled on her nipples gently, purring against her soft skin as she tugged on your hair. You continued to lick and kiss on her breasts whispering endearments to her.
“My beautiful Robin. Sweet girl. So soft. Perfection.” You murmured against her skin making her blush a deep red and she pulled you up to her lips and kissed you passionately as her hands did quick work to undo your bra and toss it away. Her hands cupped your breasts and squeezed softly before pinching your nipples gently.
“You can’t say shit like that. I’m ruining my panties, love.” She whined and you giggled as you leaned down to kiss her.
“That’s the point, my dear.” You whispered before starting to kiss down her chest and her belly to the hem of her jean shorts. You made quick work of stripping her bottoms off and you pushed her legs up to spread her out for you. “You’re dripping and smell so sweet.” You purred as you kissed and nipped on her inner thigh and moved down her thigh to her beautiful pink pussy and you started lapping up her slick as she soaked your face. You held her flush against your mouth as you lapped at her hole before moving to suckle at her clit making her moan and arch her back. You smirked against her as she threw her legs over your shoulders as you continued to devour her.
She gripped the sheets tight as the coil in her belly started to tighten already. “M’close. You feel so good, love.” She whimpered and arched against your face as you lapped through her folds and up to circle her clit with your tongue. Her fingers tangled in your hair and yanked you closer to her sopping wet cunt. You moaned at her taste as it coated your tongue and you continued to eat her out like she’s your last meal and she held you flush against her cunt. She cried out your name as she came on your tongue hard, her thighs shaking around your head as you licked her through her orgasm. Dark spots flashed at the corners of her eyes as you lapped her through her orgasm.
She finally released your head and you pulled back to lay in between her legs. “Was that good, my love?” You hummed as you traced patterns onto her inner thigh.
She looked down at you with wide eyes, “Are you kidding? I’m pretty sure my soul left my body.” She giggled and yanked you up to kiss your lips passionately. You leaned over her and cupped her face as you two kissed deeply before she pulled away and rolled you two over. She quickly rid you of your shorts and panties and she tossed your legs over her shoulders before she dove into your soaked cunt with eagerness.
You moaned and arched against her face as she lapped and sucked at your cunt. You cried out and your hips ground down against her tongue. “Mm, love. That feels so fucking good. Always had a talented tongue.” You moaned as you reached behind you to grasp one of the pillows tight in your hand. Her hands gripped your thighs tight and held your hips down as she continued to eat you out. She moved one hand down to slide two fingers into your wanting and soaked cunt and she curled them up to press against your sweet spot making your hips jerk.
“O-oh, fuck!” You cried out as your walls pulsed around her nimble fingers. You gripped the sheets tight in your fist as she doubled her efforts on your soaked cunt. You bit your lip as she suckled hard on your clit. “Ahh! Robs, gonna cum, fuck, m’so close.” You whimpered as you arched your back against her face. She smirked and slipped a third finger into you and thrusted her fingers harder and faster in and out of your cunt. Your back arched as she pushed you over the edge and you came hard on her fingers squirting around her fingers and on her face. She moaned as she lapped up your juices before pulling her fingers out of your cunt and licking them clean with a satisfied moan.
She pulled away and kissed up your body to your lips and kissed you passionately before she slumped against the bed and laid next to you. You smiled as you looked over at her with a loving smile on your face, to which she returned. She snuggled close to you and laid her head on your breasts as you laid back on the bed. She smiled as she nuzzled against your breasts. “I guess I could get used to the word “boobies”.”
You were so gorgeous. So irritatingly gorgeous. Every color looked good on you. Every perfect hair style made Robin want to mess it up while kissing you so hard. Ever lipgloss shade was sure to be wore off by the time Robin got done with you. Was there anything that you didn't look good in?
Not that Robin was sure of. No, the only thing she was sure of was that pink was your color. You had many shirts and skirts in different shades of pink. Accessories ranging from hot pink or soft misty rose. If you were to ask Robin which was her favorite, she would, without a doubt, say the soft pink was your color. It complemented your skin, especially when you had been tanning out by the pool. Like now.
You wore said soft pink in the form of a bikini. It left little to Robin's imagination. Mentally, she was thanking you.
Your soft, tan skin was all that was in her mind. The water droplets that fell down your body when you moved in the pool was playing on loop in her head. She had never been so jealous of water before.
"I just don't know what to do." Steve kept yapping. Not that Robin was paying him any mind. Her eyes had been watching you under her sunglasses. You felt her eyes on you. Maybe that's why you were doing subtle things that would drive her crazy. Like push your arms together while leaning against the side of the pool, or push your soaking wet hair away from your face. You always wore that stupid smirk on your face. God, you were so pretty. "Robin, are you even listening?"
"Hm?" She hummed, unknowingly looking back at where he sat in the lawn chair beside her. The summer weather had Steve and you competing to get the better tan. Robin knew you won, no matter how much Steve would walk around outside without a shirt. It was starting to irritate Robin. "What?"
"I don't know why I'm even trying anymore. Nance was the one- ya know?" Oh, here we go. Robin rolled her eyes under her sunglasses. She adored him, she really did. But if she had to listen to Steve blabber about the one that got away one more time, she might just have to drown him in his own pool.
"Maybe it's time to move on." Her voice was barely above a whisper.
Steve scoffed, "right, like you? How's Vickie?"
Your head shot over, your bikini top strap popping against your skin as you tried to fix it.
Since the night where you two had kissed, it was a mutual agreement that went unsaid. You two would kiss behind closed doors when given the chance, flirt with your eyes, call in the middle of the night occasionally when Steve was asleep. There weren't any labels ever mentioned. You two were just... In the moment. That said, Vickie became a sore subject after a while. Steve had found it weird that Robin suddenly stopped talking about the red-headed girl. However, he didn't let Robin lack of interest in her now mess up his agonizingly teasing.
"I wouldn't know, Steve."
"Right."
Not muttering another word, he laid back in the chair, closing his eyes.
The sound of water splashing had Robin's head turning back towards you, her body relaxing as she watched you get out of the pool. Your scowling expression didn't go good with the rest of you at the moment. As soon as you caught her eyes, you were quick to grab your towel and dart into the house, not caring about the water.
Robin was quick to go in after you, after she heard the first snore exit Steve's lips.
"Vickie, huh?"
Robin sighed, knowing where this was going. "Y/n-"
"I know what you're going to say- exactly the same as every other time." This time it was your turn to sigh. You genuinely sounded exhausted. "But I don't understand why you keep letting him tease you about her." You pouted. Your lips were so pink, so kissable..
Robin walked closer to where you stood against the counter, towel wrapped loosely around your frame. "It's the only thing he knows how to do."
Your pout deepened. "I'm serious. We can make him stop, you know. We could just tell him."
"No." She was quick to step back.
"why are you so scared to tell him? It's Steve."
Before Robin could reply, Steve slid the glass door open, looking for you two.
You all went your separate ways after that. Sure, you and Robin had had the same conversation plenty of times, but it felt different.
And it proved to be so.
Robin hadn't answered your calls, hadn't came over- making Steve meet up with her to hang out.
You were beginning to grow frustrated as it went on for weeks.
"David Bowie played a goblin king for crying out lou-" You weren't supposed to be home, atleast not this early. Steve's expression said the same when you walked in the front door. Robin, who he has been arguing with, went stiff from beside him. She looked so pretty in her Blue button up shirt that was tucked into lighter washed shorts. Blue was her color, navy or sky blue, didn't matter. What didn't sit right with you was the person sitting on the other side of her. Vickie smiled politely at you, waving. Steve cut your staring off, popping the tab off of his can drink in boredom, the smaller piece falling into the empty can, ringing through your empty head. "Thought you were out for the day?"
"Was. Got tired." You were blunt, going straight for your room after.
Before you closed your door you heard Steve try to lighten the mood from your sour attitude. "She's been in a funk lately, I don't know."
Robin watched you walk away. She couldn't help where her eyes traveled. you were wearing pink. It was slightly darker than your swimsuit, but looked just as good on you nonetheless. She was quick to excuse herself to the bathroom, making her way to your room.
She welcomed herself in your room after she got a hum in response to a quiet knock on your bedroom door. Her step into your room was quick, making sure Steve and Vickie were still content with the movie on the tv. She turned, watching you watch her. You were still looking at her, frustrated at her. She's seen you when you hated her. This was different. It almost hurt her that she hurt you.
You broke the silence, sitting on the side of your bed. A pile of laundry was sat beside you- the same pretty pale pink bikini was sat on top, making Robin's breath hitch. "I pour my heart out to you and you ignore me for weeks? You get with her."
No amount of practicing this conversation with "you" in her mirror had her ready for how your voice showed how betrayed you felt.
It wasn't fair, what Robin was doing. She knew that. It was all just so complicated. Steve was her best friend. She couldn't hurt him like that. It's all complicated.
"I know. I'm sorry." She moved to stand infront of you when you looked away.
"You brought her here." Your tears fell down your soft, pinkened cheeks.
"I know." She couldn't help her words repeating. She sunk down to her knees in front of your, taking your hand that tried to wipe your face."I'm sorry."
"Right. That's why you're in my house with her. Cause you're so sorry."
"That's not- she's not here with me. We ran into her and Steve invited her over for a movie. He's still on his kick, trying to embarrass me. You know how he is."
Robin's eyes begged you to believe her. What were you supposed to do when she looked up at you like that?
"Why have you been ignoring me?" What was she supposed to do when you looked down at her like that? She had to tell you what was eating her up, knowing you didn't understand why it was such a big deal to her.
"It's just all a lot." After she paused, you nodded. Moving over, you patted the bed for her to join you, giving her your full undivided attention. "Steve is my best friend. I don't want what we have to effect my friendship with him, you know? I don't want him to brought into our relationship when we have an argument or if we break up. I don't want you or him to be in an awkward situation at any time." A sigh fell from her lips as she looked at you, scared of how you'll react to her opening up.
"So, Steve's the problem?" You joked.
She put on a sad smile, "Pretty much."
"Robin," you hand found hers, your thumb rubbing over her skin in smoothing circles. "I like you- as I've showed in this bed. I'm willing to deal with Steve and all that if the time comes. I want you."
Her eyes had a sad twinkle in them. " I just need time."
-
Shortly after Robin came down from your room, Steve was leaving to take her and Vickie to their homes. The ride was quiet- well almost. Robin stared out of the window, Steve tried starting conversation, Vickie sat in the back, being the only one conversating with the driver. Robin didn't pay either of them any mind. Her mind was on you. How understanding you were.
It was after Steve dropped Vickie off that he started conversation with Robin, not getting silence for an answer. "Vickie, huh?"
"I'm over Vickie. Like really, really over her. Not that there's something wrong with her- there's just someone else. Or there was, I guess. I don't really know anymore."
" Wow." Steve sighed, tapping the steering wheel. "I'm surprised you didn't break and tell me about you and y/n. You surprise me more and more everyday."
Robin froze, too scared to do anything.
"You knew?" She wanted to yell. But her voice came out as a whisper. Steve just looked at her, shrugging his shoulders.
"Uh, yeah. You two aren't the best at keeping a secret. I felt like I was interrupting something every time you were in the room together."
Before Robin could stop herself, she was hitting his shoulders with all the frustration in her body. Punch after punch right to his right shoulder, same spot and everything. It was sure to be sore tomorrow.
-
Robin practically ran through the door, mindlessly making her way around the furniture.
Her eyes caught your pink nightgown, that she had made fun of you for- saying it was a granny thing to wear- as if she didn't find it adorable on you. You went further into the kitchen before she could fully make it into the kitchen. You back was turned to her, oblivious to her presence.
"I don't need time."
At lightning speed, you spun around, confused on why you heard anyone but Steve's voice in the house. You clutched at your chest for a split second before she had her lips on yours.
"Gross." Steve made his way to his room, a small smile making it's way onto his face when you couldn't see him anymore.
Pulling back, you didn't know what to say.
Robin didn't want you to say anything about what has happened, not in the minute or two, not the week she ignored you, nothing. She changed the subject, playing with your hair, looking into your eyes the same way she did when you first told her how you felt. "I really like this color on you."
"I know."
Wrong locker part 2
Part 1
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone for the love wrong locker got 🫶🏻 it was an original idea and it means the world so many of you loved it. So as promised, here is your Christmas present. A very happy ending and I hope you guys all love it and it was worth the wait.
Tumblr media
Robin hasn't spoken to Y/N since she returned her jacket. Which was weeks ago. She knew she shouldn't care and that she shouldn't be disappointed, but she did.
She went from wondering if Vickie was the wrong choice to knowing she was. Turns out, Vickie and Robin only had band and were into girls in common. Their conversations were boring and died out within seconds. The relationship was nothing like Robin wanted or thought it would be like. She always compared everything to how it was with Y/N. And nothing matched it.
~~~
"Are you sure you're happy in your relationship?" Steve asked, he clicked on the computer as Robin sat on the counter next to him. She ignored as customers walked by.
"I think it's time I admit that I'm miserable." Robin answered, "Vickie and I have nothing in common. We barely go on dates because it's so awkward. We only hang out during school. It's just nothing like..." Robin trailed off when she realized what she was about to admit.
"Y/N?" Steve answered for her. He could see it. There was a different look in Robin's eyes when Y/N was in her life. Steve noticed it was gone once they broke it off.
"I think you fell for Y/N over those dates and calls. And that's okay, Robin. It's okay to fall for someone different. You had this picture painted of what you thought Vickie would be like. You had this vision and the vision was better than the reality. Y/N was the opposite. You never painted a picture with her and you never had expectations of her. You fell for her because you weren't trying to. That's when it's most real."
Robin couldn't help but let Steve's words sink in.
"You're right. Now what the hell do I do?"
"Break up with Vickie. And the rest..that's all up to you."
~~~
Robin held her breath as she walked into the small bar, the bar Y/N brought her for their first date....now that Robin can admit it was.
She scanned the bar, her eyes looking for someone in particular. She heard the clinks of the pool balls, she turned her head and there she was. Y/N had her arms wrapped around a girl. She was shorter than Y/N, she had brown hair and blue eyes. Robin couldn't help but feel like she was watching a flashback. But she wasn't. She was front-row seat as she watched Y/N move on.
Robin wanted to ignore the painful feeling in her stomach. And the feeling that she was going to throw up her lunch. She felt jealousy wash over her bare arms, and goosebumps formed as she shivered. Robin almost felt stupid for showing up, for thinking that there was a possibility Y/N would be torn apart the way Robin felt. She dashed towards the bar when she saw Y/N look over, she clenched her eyes shut as she prayed she wasn't seen.
Of course, Robin didn't have that luck. Y/N and the girl walked over to the bar, hand in hand. Robin swallowed the lump in her throat as the girl ordered a drink. Her voice sounded squeaky and it rang in Robin's ears.
Robin heard them talk then the girl walked off in the direction of the bathroom. Robin tried to hype herself up, she came here to see Y/N and this was her chance.
Just say hi, be nice and maybe she'll be nice back
"Pool trick your move with all the girls?"
Robin gasped at her own words, her hand slammed over her mouth as she clenched her eyes in embarrassment. She thought it but she didn't mean to say it. So much for hoping Y/N would be nice.
"Just the ones I wanna take home. What's it to you?" Y/N said, her tone was annoyed and rough. Robin wanted to shrink in her seat as Y/N didn't even turn her head to talk to her. She stared after the bathroom as she slammed a shot.
Robin felt her stomach turn at the thought of Y/N taking home a random girl. Not that she had the place to be upset about it. She single-handedly ruined whatever relationship that could have been.
"Where's Vickie?" Y/N couldn't help but ask. Y/N used to never have any hard feelings towards the redhead but now she couldn't help but hate her. Envy her. She never felt insecure within herself, but now all she wanted to do was be Vickie.
"I broke up with her," Robin said with a shrug, she kept her eyes on Y/N, wishing in her head that she'd turn to look back at her.
"Why would you do that?" This time she finally turned to look at Robin.
"I realized I was only happy with the idea of her. We didn't have anything in common, and we didn't click. I didn't feel....didn't feel the way I felt with you." Robin admitted, her eyes soft and genuine as she looked into Y/N's. She could see the conflict flicking through Y/N's eyes, the words taking effect on her as her mouth pouted.
"Do you know how much of an idiot I look like? I let my guard down because I liked you, and you took advantage of that. The only two things you felt with me were the anxiety of telling me the truth and the excitement of making her jealous, so screw you. You wanted her and you got her, that's where our time in the sun was done. I don't want anything to do with you." Y/N spat, not waiting for her girl to come out of the restroom as she marched right out the door.
~~~
Robin left Y/N alone after that night. It killed her and it hurt, but she didn't want Y/N to hate her even more. She felt guilty that Y/N knew about how excited she felt making Vickie jealous. Robin wished she thought everything through. She should have come clean right away, and maybe she could have still agreed to the date. She shouldn't have been stuck on Vickie and ignored all the possibilities around her.
Even though they didn't talk, Robin always looked for Y/N in the halls. Sometimes she felt a small shimmer of hope when Y/N stared back, for a few solid seconds before she shook her head and looked away. Robin hoped that there was a small part of Y/N that kept those feelings she felt for Robin months ago.
Robin entered a new level of hell when Y/N began to date a cheerleader. They were the perfect couple. Y/N was the captain of the volleyball team and her perfect, rich, pink, and giggly girlfriend, Blane, was on the cheerleading team. This meant Robin had to watch Blane cheer for Y/N, run to her after the game, and smash her perfect pink lips right on Y/N. It made Robin sick. It made her want to cry, vomit, and commit murder all at the same time. But also made Robin realize Y/N was long gone. She already did the upgrade, from band geek girlfriend to cheerleader girlfriend. There wasn't a chance in this hell that Y/N would run back to the band geek.
~~~
It was Y/N's birthday, and Blane invited everyone to celebrate weeks ago. Robin was surprised when she got the invite. She was surprised to hear Blane's voice on the other end inviting her directly. Robin figured it was a surprise party as Y/N didn't say a word about it when they passed in the halls.
But Robin wasn't going to waste the opportunity she had to see Y/N again. Robin spent the whole week perfecting Y/N's gift. She knew she had a lot of apologizing and work to do, and she hoped this showed how much of an effort she truly planned to make. But the gift also could cause issues with Blane, and honestly? Robin was ready to knock the bitch down a peg or two.
Robin even cracked and begged Nancy for help. Robin needed to dress to impress, and Nancy was the girl with all the confidence.....and clothes. Nancy knew who Robin was and stayed close to her wild style. A simple black dress that Robin covered with a dark jean jacket and sneakers. Nancy added a tiny bit of makeup to Robin's eyes, and a nice pink gloss to her lips.
Robin held her present in a tight grip as she walked into the party. Even though Robin rushed to get ready, she still arrived late. Half the party was already drunk and wobbling around. Robin set down her gift on a table that seemed to be the gift table.
She walked around, hoping to catch sight of Y/N. But she did find Blane at the drink table. Robin walked over, grabbed a drink, and took a deep breath.
"Thanks for inviting me!" Robin said a fake smile on her face.
"Of course! I honestly don't know half the people here. I called everyone that Y/N had their number written down and saved. Figured that's where the important people are. So hey! If you're here, you must be a great friend." Blane slurred, her hand patting Robin on the shoulder.
Robin was barely a friend, and she didn't want to be a friend. But she wasn't going to admit that to Y/N's girlfriend.
"So, how did you and Y/N get together?" The curiosity has been killing Robin. But the answer might finish her off.
"Hooked up at a party, nothing very romantic. We haven't been together long, feels more like a good fuck, you know? She's so confident and rough. I was too insecure about competition, and I knew no one go for her because they were too scared. So I figured hey! Who's gonna take her from me? No one. I can get great orgasms, sleep off with other people, and not have to worry about her attention leaving me." Blane shrugged, her drunk words filled Robin with more rage than she ever felt.
"That's a bit bitchy don't you think? The girl has feelings." Robin argued.
"Y/N? Feelings? No, that girl likes sex and that's all. I don't think she's capable of having feelings." Blane scoffed.
"Maybe not for you," Robin said under her breath, but not quite enough.
"Excuse me? If she would have feelings for someone, it would be me. Look at me." Blane said, and Robin couldn't help but look. Blane was easily gorgeous and it was easy to fall in love with her based on looks. Her personality immediately killed it.
"Open relationship then?" Robin asked, trying to change the subject of how perfect Blane was. Robin felt even more insecure as she tugged on her dress.
"Oh no. Y/N is way too loyal for that, even if it's just sex. But me? What she doesn't know what hurt her." Blane said, Robin, couldn't believe how she said these things without a moment of guilt.
"You're unbelievable. Y/N deserves better." Robin scoffed, she grabbed her drink and prepared to leave.
"Wait a second," Blane said, she grabbed Robin's arm and turned her around. Blane studied her face, her face sobering up a tad. "I knew you looked familiar. You're the girl in the frame! In Y/N's room! The girl wearing the jacket at the arcade."
Robin couldn't help but smile at the fact that Y/N kept a framed picture of her. Her cheeks flamed red and her heart raced.
"Now it all makes sense." Blane laughed, "You want her back, don't you? Seeking out the girlfriend to get the details you needed before you made the move." Blane said, shoving Robin.
"Hey! I didn't seek out details, you were saying it all on your own." Robin defended herself. "I do want her back. And it seems like you barely care about her so why don't we just call a truce? You can get great sex somewhere else, and Y/N can be with someone who cares about her." Robin thought her words were nice. But apparently, Blane thought differently. Robin felt a sticky liquid poured over her head.
A crowd formed around them as everyone gasped. Robin bit her lip as she wiped the liquid out of her eyes.
"Pathetic. Do you think she'll run back to you? You're nothing. You sit on the sidelines in everyone's life, including hers. Go back to the bench where you belong." Blane said, she turned around and her ponytail flipped in Robin's face.
Robin couldn't help herself. She was filled with rage and insecurity. She already knew getting Y/N back was a lost chance. She knew she was a side character in everyone's life, but to hear it said to her face by the bitch of high school. She wasn't taking it. And in a way, Robin wanted to fight for Y/N, what's better than taking down their girlfriend?
Robin grabbed her ponytail and yanked her backward. Blane let out a high-pitched scream as she tried to get Robin's grip off of her. Robin let go but tackled Blane to the ground.
"FIGHT! IT'S A GIRL FIGHT!" some drunk asshole screamed. He was filled with way too much excitement.
Robin and Blane rolled around on the floor, barely hitting each other but still fighting to be on top.
"OFF!" Robin heard someone scream and arms wrapped around her waist. She felt herself being easily lifted into the air. Robin trashed as the person began to bring her outside.
"LET ME GO. I SWEAR I'LL CALL THE COPS!" she threatened.....or Steve.
"That would backfire on you, sweetheart," Y/N said as she let Robin go. Robin stood on her feet and turned around to see Y/N there with a pissed-off expression. Robin clenched her thighs as she took her in. She wore tight blue jeans, a white tank top with layered necklaces, the bottom one resting perfectly on her chest, and a black belt with chains looped through.
"What the fuck is your problem?" Y/N snapped Robin out of her thoughts.
"You didn't hear what she said about you?" Robin argued, her hands gesturing to the house, where Blane probably sat crying.
"Why would you care?" Y/N asked, her arms crossed as she tried to conceal her anger.
"DO YOU PAY ATTENTION TO ANYTHING?" Robin screamed, she felt like she was constantly telling Y/N how she felt, and Y/N just ignored it.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT FROM ME, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT AT ALL! WE TALKED AND DECLARED IT WAS OVER. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?" Y/N screamed back. She wanted to tug her hair out. She couldn't stand the sad puppy eyes Robin gave her. She hated feeling pittied and she hated Robin felt so guilty that she wanted to make it up to her. Y/N wasn't supposed to be hurt.
"I WANT YOU! ISN'T THAT CLEAR?" Robin screamed as she stomped her foot in the grass. "I DIDN'T GO TO THE BAR THAT NIGHT JUST TO ADMIT MY MISTAKE!! IT WAS TO ADMIT TO YOU THAT I CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD...."Robin took a deep breath, "it was to admit that I love you and I want a chance to be with you again. This time with no fear, no anxiety, and no afraid to feel things for you. Because it's not a bad thing. Getting to be with you, was beautiful and it was joyful. You were happy, and you can't tell me you weren't."
"Robin," Y/N sighed as she ran her hands over her face. "It wasn't even real. I was happy because I thought it was something real. I thought I could be loved, don't you get that? How can I just believe you now? What if you don't even love me, you just loved the feeling of being with me."
Robin didn't know Y/N felt so much insecurity. And she felt even worse for playing with her emotions.
Robin walked over to her, not wasting a second before she smashed her lips on Y/N's. Robin felt a zoo of butterflies fluttering around in her stomach as Y/N kissed her back. Robin's hands wrapped around Y/N's shoulders, and Robin shivered as Y/N's hands wrapped around her waist. She gripped Robin's dress and kissed her deeper. Robin melted under her control, submitting herself to be under her power. Y/N's warm tongue touched Robin's as they kissed. Y/N tasted like beer and gum, somehow a taste Robin needed more and more of.
They pulled back when they needed air, but Robin kept her hands on Y/N, hoping it would keep the girl in place.
"I love you, and I love the feeling I feel with you. I love both, and I can't love one without the other. Vickie was a mistake, and I'm sorry I had to learn that while hurting you. I know I want you and I know I want us. Please let me show you that?" Robin begged, her forehead pressed against Y/N's as she closed her eyes. In case she said no, at least Robin could soak in the last few moments.
It was silent and Robin grew more nervous. She cracked open one eye to see Y/N staring at her with a smile.
"Can I admit I love you with both your eyes open?" Y/N giggled, and Robin never thought she'd hear that.
Robin opened her eyes immediately, a dopey smile on her face as she watched Y/N's mouth move.
"I love you and I'll give you the chance. Just don't make me regret it!" Y/N threatened, a finger pointed right at Robin but a teasing smile covered Y/N's face.
"Deal," Robin said, pressing her lips against Y/N's again.
"Kicked her ass." Y/N laughed against Robin's lips, not caring how sticky Robin's whole face was.
"She deserved it." Robin shrugged, happily attaching their lips again.
~~~
A box of a tiny locker rested in the gift box on the table, with love notes all written to Y/N. All in the right locker.

You couldn’t figure out how to make sense of it all.
How you had Robin here, in your arms, swaying along to the song blaring from your record player. It was soft, the light harmonies of The Association’s “Never My Love” carrying you through its magical melody.
Her back to your chest, hands intertwined as she pulled them against her chest. Breathing deep and even, ocean eyes closed as she let the music move her. The apartment, sparkling with your pink LED lights, a comfortable haze surging through you. A vanilla candle resting on the coffee table, sprinkling warmth against her cheek.
You were Robin’s.
And Robin was yours.
It was startling, the way you were granted this moment, granted the continuous opportunity to smell her gentle perfume, a subtle scent that was only able to be found the closer you got. You were allowed to spend the rest of your life adoring her, caressing her. Bringing her deeper and deeper into you until all you could do is blur.
Planting a soft kiss to her cheek, you watched a soft smile reach her lips. Let your chin rest on her shoulder as she leaned her head back on yours.
“This is perfect,” she said, taking a deep breath.
“You’re perfect,” you whispered, rubbing your nose against her neck. A gentle moan escaped her lips, nearly laughing at herself for being so affected. But it was something you longed for, the chance to make her feel beautiful. Wanted. Needed.
This was a soft love.
A needed love.
“I can’t believe we really did it,” she said. “We really got married today, huh?”
A grin spread across your face, squeezing her tighter. Your dresses, satin against silk, gently rubbed together as the music continued. Bare feet against the hardwood floor, the winter biting at the exposure. Simple wedding bands adorning your fingers, matching with the internal engraving: everlasting.
“We sure did,” you replied.
“I really love you, you know.”
Nodding, you closed your eyes. Breathed her in. Took a chance to bask in the moment before you opened your mouth.
Slightly, delicately.
“Yeah,” you whispered. “I really love you, too.”

Reader who steals clothes from both Steve and Robin (maybe a poly, maybe just the best of friends) but they always let it happen, neither of them complain! Until one day you notice half your closet missing, and when you go into family video, both members of the himbo and lesbian dynamic are covered head to toe in your stolen clothes
as per the request criteria, they all swap clothing so it's implied that they're relatively similar sized!
--
You find it rather unfair that, out of all of the clothes in your closet, your favorite jeans have gone missing. The ones that you wear every day, the ones that you've nearly worn holes through, the ones that fit you so perfectly they might as well be a second skin. They've got deep pockets and a good waistband, but the ones you'd had to shove on last-minute to get to work on time are too-tight and the pockets are sewn shut to the rest of the fabric.
You're already in a bad mood when you storm through the doors due to the uncomfortable pressure around your waist, and your belongings dangling from your hands instead of tucked safely into your pockets, but your eyes zero in on Robin's pants immediately. She's waiting for you at the door, holding a stack of tapes in one arm as she smirks at your disheveled appearance.
Her pants are your pants.
"Morning, Sunshine," She drawls, that lazy smirk over her face fitting her features like a glove, "Jeans shrink in the wash?"
"The hell- those are mine!" You accuse, jabbing a finger towards her lower half. The jeans fit her just as snugly as they do you, and you see a pen barely visible in the pocket. Your pocket.
"We decided to get you back," She explains, "You take our clothes all the time. It's time we stole yours, too."
"We?" You ask, "Where's Steve?"
"Here." He calls from behind a few shelves down, "Your jacket's really comfy, by the way."
You stalk over to where his voice is coming from and find him snugly fitted into your lush pink zip-up, the hood fleece-lined for cold winters. There's rhinestones on the back that say 'babygirl', and when he peers up at you through his lashes where he's crouching to shelve tapes, he looks the part.
"You rats," You conclude, jaw perpetually agape, "I- I'll give back your clothes, I swear! Just don't stretch out my jacket, Steve." You cast a wary glance down to the zipper that looks like it may spring free from its constraints and smack you in the forehead, "Your boobs are too big.”

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin’s side of the bed is empty when you wake up. You roll over, eyes still closed as you reach out for your girlfriend. It’s only after your fingertips touch bare sheets that you open your eyes in surprise, a pout finding its way to your lips. Your favorite part of weekend mornings is cuddling in bed, and Robin’s not even here to do that. You’re sure she’s still in the house — in fact, you can hear noises coming from the kitchen — but you still wish she was next to you.
Sighing, you sit up and stretch, scanning the room for something to wear. All you’ve got on is a pair of underwear, but you spot one of Robin’s big sweatshirts on the dresser across the room, and decide it’ll be perfect for your lazy morning in. It smells just like her as you slip it on over your head, and all you want is to find her.
You follow the sounds of breakfast being made to the kitchen, a little afraid of what you might find. Robin is not exactly skilled at cooking, and it’s totally possible that the kitchen is a absolute disaster right now, though you do smell coffee, and maybe pancakes. You’re pleasantly surprised to find that the kitchen is still in working order, and even more pleased when you notice that Robin is completely topless. She’s only wearing a pair of sweatpants that look like they might be Steve’s, considering they’re rolled at the waist, and her bare back is on display to you, her smooth, pale skin taunting you. There’s a mug of what you assume is coffee in one of her hands, while the other holds the door to the fridge open as she looks for something.
You’ve got to move quickly if you want to hold her while she’s standing like this, so you do, padding across the kitchen with a murmured ‘good morning’ so you don’t completely surprise her, your warm hands finding her waist. She still jumps a little when your hands touch her, squeaking in surprise, though she quickly relaxes into your touch. Her skin is cool from the chill of the fridge, and you slide your hands around the curves of her hips, hands warm against the softness of her tummy. She hums, leaning back into your hug, pressing against your front, “G’morning, bub.”
“This is a nice surprise,” you mumble, your cheek smushed against her shoulder blade.
“Oh!” she perks up a little, closing the fridge so she can rest her hand over one of yours, “‘M glad! Wasn’t sure if you’d want banana pancakes, or when you’d wake up, but just thought I’d make some anyways, and—“
You can’t help but giggle, pressing a kiss to the crook of her neck. She’s oblivious to what you actually mean, and it just makes you adore her even more. Pressing your nose to the space just behind her ear, you giggle again and murmur, “Rob, baby, the pancakes are nice, but I was talking about this…” You trail off, untangling your hands from hers so you can slide them up her torso, coming to rest against her ribs delicately, just underneath her breasts.
Her breath stutters — you can feel it against your hands — and you have to stifle another laugh. Her chest heaves and she blinks slowly, "Oh. Yeah, I just… didn’t… didn’t wanna bother with a shirt, and—" She struggles to find words as you move your hands again to cup her breasts. The only time Robin runs out of things to say is when you’re touching her like this. You love her voice, love listening to her talk, but you almost love her breathy moans and whimpers more.
Robin has perfect tits, and there are few things you love more than playing with them. She’s soft under your touch, nipples already starting to peak from the cold air of the fridge, only growing harder as the pad of your thumbs rub across them gently. A whine escapes her lips, desperate for more.
You kiss her neck again, this time nipping at the spot that makes her weak in the knees, “Y’so pretty, birdie. Love your tits so much, this is the best thing to wake up to.” As if to prove your point, you pinch both of her nipples, rolling them between your fingers gently.
She keens at that, chest pushing into your hands, and her cup of coffee nearly falls from her grasp. Luckily, you’re paying enough attention to notice, and swipe the mug from her hands, placing it onto the counter next to you. She mourns the loss of your touch, but only for a second, and quickly takes the opportunity to turn around in your arms, a lovesick smile tugging at her lips as she leans in to kiss you.
It’s soft but eager, Robin’s teeth nipping at your bottom lip. She tastes like coffee and maybe a hint of the mint toothpaste she uses, but you can’t get enough of her. You want to resume where you were before, maybe continue where you left off, so you pull your mouth from hers, planting a line of wet kisses down her neck to her collarbone.
The groan she lets out is music to your ears as her head tips back in pleasure, thudding into the wooden cabinets behind her. The sound makes you giggle, but you’re undeterred, kissing across the swell of her breast until you’re just above her nipple. Your lips part against the soft skin, and she gasps when you leave a hickey there.
Robin’s hands find your hair as you move lower, tongue darting out to circle her nipple. She whines again, a high pitched sound that she can’t quite control as your other hand comes up play with her other breast, not wanting to neglect her, “Ah, fuck, baby, I—“
You let your teeth graze her sensitive nipple as you pull back from her chest, lips shining with spit as you give her a grin, “Fuck, you’re beautiful, Rob.” Her chest heaves, an unbelieving laugh escaping her lips. Her eyes flutter open, glancing at you before quickly cutting across the kitchen to where the pancake batter sits next to the stove. You know exactly what she’s thinking, and beat her to it as you say, “Ya know, I love that you made pancakes, but… I could go for something else right now.”
She laughs again, raspy and filled with joy, and hoists herself up onto the counter behind the two of you, parting her thighs so you can slot yourself in between them, “That’s fine with me, baby.”
