This was such a huge moment for all Brazilians. For the very first time in HISTORY someone from our country got this award.

This right here is a woman that came from nothing, born and raised in the favelas, and yet look at where she is now. Despite all the hate thrown her way, despite all the people telling her she wouldn't get there, she created history.

So, if anyone ever says you won't get there, tell them to go fuck themselves and show them it's possible.

In Space Riders, Raida adopted a few other kids. They're all dobermans and girls.

She has them away from the cult and not much of any cult member knows about the kids. The kids are safe in Eve's planet and are obviously spoiled by Raida.

The kids don't know their names and rely on Raida for new ones: Renna, Nasha, Merikh, Cora.

I think part of what got me back into Roman history - after hanging out in fandoms for a while - is that it's messed up. Most people understand that these Romans did Awful Things. The empire was built out of Awful Things, and those things really happened. You can't ignore canon and fanfic your way out of this plotline!

So we feel revulsion. Judgment. (Or at least I feel that way sometimes.) Okay, now what do we do with those feelings? Do we stop being curious? Do we move on in search of characters that are more in line with our values? (No judgment, sometimes I want actual heroes, too.)

Or do we try to understand? To not romanticize or demonize, to not make excuses for historical figures or co-opt them for our own purposes, but just to ask how? And why? And what do we know, and what do we only think we know? Because that's when you start learning new facts instead of just filtering them to affirm your worldview. And if you keep digging, you won't just find awfulness - the good parts of human nature have always been there, too.

It's not appealing to everyone. This is not my "comfort series" (though I do have some of those). But I like the challenge of it.

Hi everyone! How have y'all been doing?

I missed this place and some ppl here SO MUCH! But I'm STILL without my phone and my computer still sucks. Buuut, I now got a huge scholarship and I'll be able to buy a new computer in no time, plus, my phone's scheduled to come back next week, so, all in all, I'm baaaack!

I won't have a regular posting schedule bc of my Masters' studies, but I'll try to post at least once every two weeks if possible.

I already got some stuff ready to post, but it'll have to wait, cause my pc's really not cooperating with a simple copy and paste.

having rosa as your favorite umineko mom is such a struggle because fans will only react to her in two ways: 1) men who are horny for her and want to fuck her believing they can fix her (HER ENTIRE STORY IS ABOUT HOW THE MEN SHE HAD RELATIONS WITH COULDN’T FIX HER YOU GUYS HAVE ZERO SELF-AWARENESS) or 2) people who hate her for being a woman who’s awful and messy in very compelling and fascinating ways (i wonder why the abuse victim grew up to become a horrible parent herself after growing up in a household that normalized this and her trauma from all that wasn’t addressed)

Synopsis: Silver never thought that he would be able to see his dead mother again in his father's dreams.

"How dare you harm the general! Guards, seize these humans at once!" Baul yelled, and suddenly, the nocturnal faes were surrounding Silver, Sebek, Grim and Yuu, ready to fight. "Hey you guys, Im fine. it's not like Im hurt. I only dropped my mask." Lilia said, still feeling a little mildly shocked that a mere human managed to even make him drop his mask.

"But-!"

"What's going on?" A soft, melodic voice intercepts in to the conversation. Baul and the other fae soldiers suddenly straightened their back, hand in a salute position as they greet a fae women who has just arrived.

"We greet the Lady of House Vanrouge!"

"Oh no need for the formalities! Just call me Y/N!" The fae women chuckled, and immediately, both Sebek and Silver can feel their blood running cold.

Y/N Vanrouge? As in Lilia's wife? The one who died 4 years ago?

Silver could hear his heart pounding nervously. He had prayed every single day to see you, his dead mother again. Though he knows that it was just a futile hope, he had never imagine seeing you alive in front of him - technically alive in this dream.

You looked younger than the boy had remembered. Your eyes are full of life, face free from wrinkles, looking young and beautiful. "Y/N, what are you doing here? It's dangerous." Lilia reprimands you coldly, but you know that that is his way of caring you. He does not like to show his weak side in front of his subordinates.

"I thought you needed a helping hand." You turned to look at the 3 humans and 1 cat who were staring at you with their mouth open wide, probably amazed by your beauty. "Whose this?"

For once, Silver had to hold back himself from running into your arms, calling you mother.

"My name is Silver, I am your son. I missed you, mother."
