May I please request headcanons for Joker, Ann, Akechi, and Sae reacting to their S/O bringing them a large meal like this to eat after they’ve had a long, hard day?

Akira

He's a highschool boy, his appetite is insane. Seeing you made that for him after a long trip in Mementos has him smiling like crazy.

He would dig in with gusto, taking time to savor each bite and appreciating the flavors and textures of the food. Honestly, he's spent enough time at Big Bang Burger, he can eat that much food in no time.

Definitely makes sure you eat some with him too. You went through all the hard work of making it that he's going to feed you a piece of shrimp rather you want it or not.

Ann

Ann would be thrilled by the seafood feast and would eagerly dive into the meal, enjoying every bite.

She would likely be very talkative throughout the meal, chatting with you and expressing her gratitude and joy at the delicious meal.

Ann would also take the time to compliment you on your cooking skills, feeling lucky to have someone who can whip up such a tasty meal for her

Akechi

Akechi is a bit taken aback by the gesture at first, but would soon warm up to it, appreciating the thoughtfulness of his significant other.

He would eat the seafood slowly and carefully, savoring each bite and taking time to appreciate the flavors of the dish. There's no way he'd be able to eat all of it though, so if you'd like to join him then you're free to.

Can't help but wonder how you got this much food together and cooked it without him noticing. Also wonders who's money you spent to get the food. Don't worry, he's not accusing you of anything yet, but there is a teasing smile on his lips.

Sae

Sae would be surprised but appreciative of the seafood feast, feeling grateful for the gesture after a long and stressful day.

Would have Makoto join you and her to eat this. There's enough for a small family and that's what you are so eat up.

You get a lot of "thank you's" from her. She knows it must have taken you so much time to prepare this, especially with timing it to be done for when she got home considering how often she works late into the night.

The train car is nearly empty. So your eyes watch the windows- noting the small flashes of light in the tunnel as the subway speeds by.

Every couple of seconds, you see one. It lights up your view- just for a moment. But in that moment. You can see your reflection. You can see the reflection of what’s just right beside you too. Even though you've been trying really, really, really hard this entire time not to look at her. But it’s hard. It’s so hard when all you can see, and feel and think about in the empty train is the shoulder pressed next to yours and the head that’s starting to hang dangerously low.

Must be low enough to rest on your shoulder by now, right-?

You shake your head and sigh quietly. It’s been a long day for the both of you. That much you can tell. Because even though you both live in the same direction, Nijima doesn’t ever ride the subway with you. Never. And yet, as you were packing up to leave the office after pulling another late night, she asked if she could join you.

Of course, she followed it off with an offhand remark about having to take her car into the shop just this morning and how “it still wasn’t done” despite being promised something else when she dropped it off. And of course, your hopes were a little dashed, and your spirit was a little crushed now that you realized that this wasn’t your co-worker attempting to reach out and get to know you. But you aren’t surprised. That’s just how she was.

Although she’s only a few years older than you, you remember hearing rumors and whispers about her and her work ethic while you were finishing the last of your schooling. Though back then, you didn’t expect that you’d be hired at the Tokyo District Special Investigation Department in the Public Prosecutors Office. And you certainly didn’t expect to be working alongside a giant like in your first couple months after being hired. But one thing you did expect? Her being exactly like her rumors. Harsh and cold yet professional and polished. Ruthless and strict, but ultimately? Something to behold. Something to admire. Something you should aspire to be.

Though, you know not every shares the same feelings as you do. In fact, your other coworkers would tell you more of the negatives (and only the negatives) in passing. You were still the new here. Still wet behind the ears and a little green with just about everything. But most people had enough trust in you to tell that you wouldn’t go blabbing about any little slipped complaint about Nijima that was dropped here and there. On the way to the bathroom, someone would tell you about how Nijima all but yelled at someone in a conference room. On the way back from the printer, someone would tell you about how Nijima just gave someone else an impossible deadline.

You’d just smile and nod- unsure of what to do or what to say as you finish your own assigned work at your cubicle. It’s the same way you’d react when someone would drop another stack of papers on your desk right before you were set to go home. The same way you react when someone asks you very, very nicely if you could do it all and have it done and on their desk before everyone gets in tomorrow morning.

You shouldn’t be a pushover. You know, you know. You’ve been hearing the same things for the longest time. From your family. From your friends. From your professors. From just about everyone. But if you’re not exactly the best at telling people close to you how you really feel. You’ve never been. And so, nobody gets told off by you for constantly passing their work off to the fresh blood on the block. Nobody gets to hear your rant about how much you hate gossip. But most of all, nobody gets to hear you say how much you don’t want to hear what piece of gossip they have about Nijima this time. Nobody.

After all, nobody seems to like her in this office. No one, that is, except you.

The train car is nearly empty. There must have been twelve people in total when you both got on and took the long trek back home. Now it’s just five, including the two of you. They’re barely taking up seats. They’re barely taking up air. But out of all the open spots on this train she chose to sit next to you.

She chose to sit next to you.

But not just next to you. She chose to sit shoulder to shoulder. Chose to place her bag in her lap and squish in real close as if it were rush hour. But it’s not. The train car is near empty, and your cheeks warm up at the memory of her sitting down beside you. Embarrassingly so.

But Nijima is too busy struggling to keep her eyes open to care. She’s tired. Hell, you’re tired too. You’re not the one whose head is dripping down and down and down. You’re not the one who jerks up every couple of seconds- trying to keep their composure when they ultimately wake up again after dozing off slightly. You’re not the one with the guardrails up. Constantly offering protection when all things- good or evil.

But arguably, neither is she right now.

The walk to the train station was quiet. But she did talk to you about her sister. And she did talk about a restaurant she thought you might like. And she did ask you what you thought about a big case that was just handled not too long ago. She did all the things your co-workers said she wouldn’t do. She was pleasant. Enjoyable to be around. And she didn’t make everything about work. But most of all? She was being vulnerable.

Because the Sae Nijima you’re seeing out of the corner of your eye and in the reflection of the train car’s window isn’t the same Sae Nijima that you heard about in your old classmate's rumors. The Sae Nijima you’re sitting shoulder to shoulder with on a train back home isn’t the same Sae Nijima that you hear your new co-workers gossip about. It just isn’t. Rather, it’s a different kind of Sae Nijima. A type of Sae Nijima you selfishly can’t help but want to hide away and keep all to yourself. A secret you don’t want to spread. A secret you don’t want to share.

For your sake. But also for hers too.

Because the woman beside you right now? It’s still your co-worker. Still the legendary and infamous Sae Nijima. But it’s a version of her that is silent, but not unwilling as you gently bring your arm up and guide her head to rest on your shoulder. A version of her that only grumbles about making you promise that this never happened. A version of her that ultimately leaned in a little bit closer and closed her eyes.

A version of her that was willing to do so for the entire rest of the ride.

May I please request headcanons for Sae Niijima falling in love with a fellow lawyer who used to be a cop and seeing them defend themselves against a violent client?

author's note: Ooooo this is a good one!! I had a lot of ideas for this one, but the end result is what I ended up running with. Sae's a pretty complex character, so I hope I didn't do anything extremely wrong with her. I just thought about how she would act in this situation based on my memory of her from the game. This is also based around post-P5 Sae. Enjoy everyone!

summary: Sae's struggles with falling for her cop-turned-lawyer coworker.

Sae was currently engrossed in her podcast as she strode out of her office building two hours late, as usual. Work piled up too much and it was essentially expected that she would take unpaid overtime. Rush hour was in full swing, and taking the train home would be an absolute nightmare, so she was steeling herself for the journey, which would consist of standing on her heels for an hour and a half in a rocking train.

Before she could leave, however, a commotion broke out in the lobby. Through her headphones she sensed someone yelling obscenities. “You god-damn, good-for-nothing attorney! Gonna get me fucking life if you keep up this shitshow,” she caught after pulling one bud out. Her head would whip around to see you, standing with your back rod straight, hands behind your back, while the client was detained by their prison security escorts, spitting in your face with their words. They had it handled, so Sae figured she would leave and make sure you were okay later over text, as you two were acquaintances. The next move of the client kept her gaze glued, though.

She saw the client break free from the hold of the security officers and make a run for you as she turned around to depart. Her entire body tensed up, ready to make a run for it if they were in fact dangerous. But before Sae could process anything, you had stepped to the side, grabbed your assailant’s wrists, and pinned them down with your knee to the tile floor face-down. It looked like a move straight out of Makoto’s toolkit.

Sae would be almost awestruck at this. I think she would genuinely believe that someone who can defend themselves in such a calm and collected manner is pretty… cool. Her demeanor would never give this away, though. Maybe just a raise of her eyebrow.

“Can I get a pair of handcuffs?” you would ask in a quiet voice of the guards. “Preferably a pair they won’t break out of.”

At this point, Sae would turn to leave, her heart thumping oddly. Sure, you two were friends. She knew you used to be a cop, so that move you pulled was probably just standard stuff for you. But it made her heart flutter. Why? She figured your effortless protective actions may have awakened some sort of attraction in her. This was a pointless feeling. You two would remain friends. No ifs, ands, or buts. Sae has no time for frivolous pursuits.

Every day after, however, Sae would find herself losing her composure around you. Stumbling over legal jargon that she has studied for years, spilling a cup of coffee on the floor of the office, just… uncharacteristic mistake. You would ask Sae if she was alright after a week of this. Her response would be a curt “I’m fine.” Maybe she would continue the conversation to ask you about open cases that you two were collaborating on.

“Listen,” you would say. “I know that you’ve been acting strange around me since you watched me put that client’s face on the tile. Are you scared of me now?”

Sae would reply: “No, I’m not. If you intend on talking about this, please contact me after work hours.”

And that you would, calling her when you were free. Luckily, she would be as well, and you two would talk. Sae reassures you that she’s not afraid of you or anything, but you would need to really work the truth out of her. In a fit of frustration, she would yell that she was pretty flustered by that move and couldn’t stop thinking about you in a romantic way.

“Oh? That’s what it is. How about we go to an izakaya tomorrow after work then? Just the two of us.” Had you just asked her on a date? She would act reluctant to accept, but deep inside, she was elated to spend time with you alone outside of work.

Sae nijima

Dating sae can be a bit hard at the beginning, she's not used to showing emotions or vulnerability, so it might seem like she doesn't want to be with you but she actually loves you a lot.

She's incredibly overworked, so she doesn't really have a lot of time for dates but when she does she likes classic dates like going out to dinner or just relaxing inside.

I feel like she's the type to bring you roses or other small romantic things, especially to apologize for having to work when you had a date planned or something similar.

Like I said earlier she works a lot so she'd love it if you did some stuff for her, if she comes home late to a hot dinner and affirmations of love she'll genuinely consider marrying you on the spot.

Sae likes to make you hang out with makoto so you can get to know each other, you and her are the most important people in her life so she'd love it if you two to get along.

Tae takemi

Tae is a great girlfriend she loves you and she'll make sure you know it, she's the complete opposite of sae when it comes to that.

She'll regularly compliment and tease you about literally anything she can think about, she can aomehow turn any conversation topic into a comment about how cute you are.

She also loves physical affection and she'll tease you a lot in that way too, even outside. She's the type to touch your thigh while you're sitting, leave black lipstick marks or hickeys on you to mark you or just randomly hugging you very close to her chest.

She's pretty overworked, too, definitely not at sae's level but there are days when there are more patients than usual so she doehave time to hang out with you but luckily you can just book fake appointments with her to hang out(she doesn't mind)

The good thing about having a doctor as a girlfriend is that she's the best at taking care of you when you're sick, she'll give you all the right medications and other methods she knows will help, the downside is that she'll tease you 10 times more than usual cause you're so vulnerable(she's disappointed she can't kiss you though)

You confess to her after you’ve made your first win against her. She’s shocked but delighted listening to you talk about how you want to spend more time with her

She suggests you play another game together, but she purposefully lets you win, letting you know of her answer

A date could involve you doing things together but even being in the same vicinity, reading books at the bookstore or watching the sunset over the park is Hifumi’s idea of a wonderful time

You can try to set the pace of the relationship, but Hifumi as she is when she plays go, can turn the tables at any time to her favor!!

Expect a slow but steady relationship once filled with slow burn

She was constantly going to keep tabs on Akechi's whereabouts to make sure he does not end up taking down a few targets behind the scenes. Makoto will even go as far as to have direct conversations with the man himself. Surely, she will finally be able to at least compare to Sae. But why do all of her plans involve Akechi?

Note(s): Happy Pride Month!! Love this idea!! I will say that I didn't write it as "Everyone is happy to go to Pride" just because of what I know of Japan's views with the community. There's nothing bad, but just want to give a bit of a warning that there is some hesitance from some characters.

Akira

Oh, Akira would be thriving at a pride parade. He's wearing vibrant colors and accessories and is happily complimenting each float with you.

He's the leader of the Phantom Thieves, they fight for justice and to help people. So of course he absolutely vibes with the community too.

Akira will also happily get face painting done or if there are any small businesses selling pride merch then he'll be glad to dump quite a bit of money there (he's loaded).

Ann

Ann loves going to Pride Parades. They're just so pretty and aesthetically appealing. She'll gladly help put together some pride outfits for the two of you, keeping it looking good but also still resembling the flag (or even a different flag besides the rainbow if you wanted).

You know she is going to various booths and food stalls with you to see all the pride-themed stuff. Gladly gets pins and stickers to clip on to some of her outfits later.

She is loudly cheering and clapping when the parade starts. Happily holding your hand while marching with the floats and smiling widely as she engages conversation with you and others that are at the parade.

Akechi

There's some hesitance about going initially from Akechi. Not because he doesn't support it, but because he's a bit afraid of being recognized and judged by others. I mean, it is Japan and the last thing he wants is you being harmed because a picture of his face ends up on the news saying that he attended a pride parade.

He does end up going with you because you're just so excited and he wants to support you. I feel like with Akechi constantly striving towards a single goal, he never really took the time to explore himself so going to a Pride Parade really does cause him to start thinking over some things.

At the end of the day, Akechi is genuinely happy that he went with you. He even did get recognized a bit at the parade, but was met with nothing but support for the two of you. It definitely made him want to have deeper conversations with you regarding identity too since he's constantly struggling with who he really is.

Sae

Also, a bit hesitant about going to a pride parade just because of public perception and what her superiors might think. She does go because it makes you happy and Makoto saying it'd be a great way to see another side of the public she's defending.

Sae does very much enjoy the floats and speaking/listening to various people of the community speaking about how Pride has helped them. It definitely brings her a boost of serotonin.

Does make sure to keep an eye out in case anyone does try to cause trouble. She knows how prejudices and bias can get so she keeps you close to her while remaining vigilant. But overall, she does really enjoy the experience and being with you.

Im getting lots a persona stuff..very fun!

Hifumi

Hifumi is someone who's never dated with everything in her life she never really thought about it either so its almost expected you lead it

She's very soft with her partner and shy with most things but she's always honest

Very into classical romance i.e flowers on dates seeing a movie a walk through the park all that

Hifumi is not good with PDA and will only goes as far as hand holding when outside or maybe some light cuddles with friends around

Her love languages include quality time and words of praise

Will definitely want to play shogi with you even if she's just teaching things

Very good at remembering dates and try's her very best to make every event meaningful

Sae

Sae has had a few relationships here and there but it was never anything to memorable so this feels alittle new to her

The best at remembering dates any event is marked multiple times and if she can't be there she always makes sure to let you know

It can be hard to be someone like Sae she will always put her career first and often time you might not see her for weeks on end but she does care alot actually

Her love languages are gift giving and physical affection

Sae isnt okay with PDA at all she has an image to keep and its disrespectful in her eyes however behind closed doors and maybe her sister she has no problems holding you and smothering you in affection

She enjoys stay at home date more then anything it's a chance to wind down and just be herself with you

Takemi

Takemi is no stranger to dating though they weren't long lasting I would say she's the most confident in a relationship

She can get a little busy at times and is more often then not stuck in her own head so dates are scarce

Good at remembering date but not good at keeping plans unlike Sae who will let you know in advance if she can make Takemi forgets and ends up telling you last minute

Her love languages are acts of service and physical touch

Though she might not always make it to things Takemi will make it up to you planning a date, making dinner or just taking time off to spend with you

She the most ok with PDA she doesn't care to much about what people think of her anyways and she likes showing you off

Takemi seems a bit rough around the edges but honestly she can be a real sweetheart to those she really cares about and your one of them!

HIFUMI TOGO

- this shogi dork would be such a polite and sweet girlfriend.

- i think she’s be the type of girl to instinctively use honorifics, weeks into your relationship. she’s also a little stiff, partly because her reputation means that she has a lot of male admirers and she doesn’t want any harm to befall you. give her time and encouragement; by the time your one month hits, she’ll be so comfortable she doesn’t need to think before she calls you by your first name and holds your hand in public.

- dates, surprisingly enough, aren’t often shogi-related. she understands the importance of taking brief breaks, and will gladly follow along with anything that you suggest. movie and cafe outings are particular favorites of hers, since she gets to discreetly find out more about you.

if you do happen to enjoy shogi, or want to learn, she’s more than willing to play it with you on a date. she won’t go easy on you, and if you happen to find her antics cute or endearing, then she’ll make sure to act like herself around you. it’s a sign of trust!

- assuming that you’re part of the phantom thieves, hifumi will be worried about you every time you leave with the others. make sure you text her to let her know when you’re back, or meet her in person; otherwise, she might be inconsolably mad for the next day or two. let her take care of you; it’s the only way she knows how to help.

when her mother has her change of heart, hifumi is incredibly grateful. the following night, when you’re well-rested, she might allow some…other activities to take place as a marker of her gratitude. it’s definitely not a common occurrence, though!

- hifumi is a very quiet girl. i think her love language would reflect that; she prefers quality time or acts of service over anything else. show your love by giving her your full attention on days where the two of you have nothing planned, or make sure she drinks water and eats something healthy the morning of a competition. she’ll make sure to return the favor in any way she knows how.

- her mature appearance, while off-putting for some, may come undone the longer you stay by her side. it’s a marker of her love for you, that she allows herself to unwind around you.

SADAYO KAWAKAMI

- kawakami has never been in a relationship, but dammit if she doesn’t know how to make you happy.

- i think she'd be the type of girlfriend to put her all into supporting you, and dialing it down as the relationship goes. she's a little insecure about her age and appearance, so she'd rely heavily on outpourings of affection (and maybe a little quality becky time) to distract you from it. let her know that she looks quite lovely for her age, and that you couldn't care less; she'd be overjoyed to hear it!

- since she's busy grading papers and the like, especially once takase's guardians have their changes of heart and she doesn't need to worry about her maid job, dates are quick one-off events that let the two of you spend as much quality time together as possible. these include trips to the fishing pond, eating out at cheap restaurants, or even staying at home and watching a few episodes of your favorite show.

while she's moonlighting as a maid, and maybe even after, i think she'd amuse herself by using her customer service voice and teasing you with her "services." it's a nice way to let off some steam...and even better if you're a little into that kind of thing, since it leads into some other activities.

- kawakami has a lot of pent-up tension regarding akira's safety while he's off doing his phantom thievery. on days where a criminal receives a change of heart, give her a back massage and treat her to some sweets or the like, just to take her mind off how worried she is about her student. she's such a kind woman that, of course, it won't help out too much, but anything to make the load a little easier.

- i think her love language would be physical affection, as crazy as it sounds! her favorite thing in the whole wide world is sitting on your lap as she's grading papers, or feeling your arms around her shoulders or waist while she's doing chores. she loves being as close to you as possible, and makes sure to return the favor by pressing kisses against your cheeks and lips whenever she's able to!

- whether she's becky or sadayo, her love for her master is absolutely boundless. she'll follow you to the moon and back, and hopes that you'll stick by her side as long as possible as well!

SAE NIIJIMA

- everyone would have to do a double take when they find out that sae is dating you, even yourself.

- much like makoto, sae is very by-the-book when it comes to relationships, simply because the last time she had the chance to mess around with relationships was when she was in high school. it's not until after akira's confession that she's able to really unwind and spend time with you. make sure you support her until then, and spend as much time as possible afterward!

- time with you is one of the few things she'll forsake a promotion for, but that doesn't mean she fails to understand the importance of leisure time. on the off chance that she's not exhausted, she'd love to go somewhere sophisticated. perhaps an art museum, or the tokyo skytree in order to catch a glimpse of the city at night. if she's dead on her feet, though, be prepared for a night of nothing but cuddling.

if she has to miss plans with you because of an unexpected development, she'll always call home and let you know. she sounds genuinely upset every time it happens, knowing just how much your time together means to both of you. reassure her and let her know it's okay!

- her shadow in the metaverse would probably have a cognitive version of yourself by her side. when akira mentions this in the interrogation room, sae gets overprotective and demands to know how he knows about you. once explanations get underway, sae's main weakness is revealed: her love and affection for you.

in regards to akira and the phantom thieves, i think sae would trust you with the developments of the case, especially after the seventh palace. she'd be eternally grateful if you could support the kids while she's not there to inform them.

- as a public prosecutor/lawyer later down the line, the importance of words is something not wasted on sae. give her words of affirmation to express your love for her to the fullest: quick i love you's and i'm proud of you's before she leaves, text messages to make her smile while she's in the courtroom, or notes on her lunch if you decide to pack them.

- although her dedication to her job initially took first place above everything else in her life, as she learns to let go, you and makoto become not only the most important people in her life, but also the most important things in general.

TAE TAKEMI

- having a doctor as a girlfriend is one of the best or worst things in the world, depending on how well you take care of yourself.

- tae's confidence and blunt sarcasm morph into complete bluntness, hoping it'll distract from the fact that she kind of has no idea what she's doing. it's off-putting at first, since she'll take one look at you and rattle off symptoms without any provocation, but as your relationship progresses she'll drop the facade. that isn't to say she'll become demure (in fact, i'd go so far as to say she'd probably dominate any situation) but she definitely goes softer and sweeter around you.

- dates are either at night or on her days off, since she doesn't have much to go by in terms of time. her social battery is usually at a low, so queue up episodes of your favorite shows and help her make a late dinner. when she's especially tired, she's more than willing to fall asleep in your arms.

however, if you've been planning an outing for a long time (re: a week or more), she's willing to go anywhere. she especially enjoys places like kichijoji or akihabara, places where she fits right in with her outfit. she will not hesitate to destroy you in eating (or really any sort of) competitions, paying no attention to her own advice. how loving.

- with akira coming in almost every day to prepare for phantom thief business, and her business growing after oyamada's confession, be prepared to help her out at the clinic. she doesn't want you to get hurt administering or receiving any of the drugs, but she'll appreciate it if you bring her the items that she requests.

- with little to no time to spend together, she appreciates anything she can get. quality time and acts of service are the best ways to make her smile. keep her company during slow hours at the clinic, and bring her food and water if she's particularly busy and forgets to eat. she'll do the same in bounds, staying up until you fall asleep when she gets home and getting you access to the best medicines that she knows.

- as she grows to care for you more than anyone else in the world, her playful diagonses become purely out of concern for your well-being. she'd be abhorred to do anything to hurt you, and drops her sarcastic facade only when the two of you are alone. it's a marker of her trust that she hopes you won't take for granted.

Thank you for the compliment Anon!! I’m really sorry, but I don’t feel comfortable to write Kawakami. There’s not really a specific reason why, maybe it’s because I don’t like her? Maybe because I can’t see teacher figures as anything other than what they are?

I hope you don’t stop requesting now that you’ve run out of female characters, I’ve been really enjoying writing them!!

- Nexus.

{ Sae Niijima }

✧ Sae’s love languages are acts of service & gift giving. Because of her job, she has little time to complete menial tasks so any help from her significant other is very much appreciated. She loves gifts that are related to practicality. If they were to buy her a specially customised pen or a nicer briefcase for work, she would carry them with pride.

✧ Getting on well with Makoto is a key aspect to the relationship. Despite everything she has said in bursts of emotion, she truly cares about her younger sister. This may even include making meals or just even being another support system to her.

✧ At heart, Sae wants someone that she can confide in. If they had a job, it would make life much less stressful as she would not be the only person with disposable income but she would do her best if they were not. However, if they ended up being a freeloader, Sae would not hesitate to kick them out.

✧ The problem with Sae is that she is very much a materialistic person. After her father died & left her to take care of Makoto on her own, she believes that making money and keeping the two of them stable is the most important thing. She can be cheap at times & sometimes outright rude if her significant other made an outlandish suggestion.

{ Tae Takemi }

✧ Takemi’s love languages are quality time & physical touch. Spending time is her favourite part of the relationship, especially on dates. Her professional nature peels away & she becomes more approachable. Physical touch can be anything casual from an arm around her shoulder to a quick kiss. Considering the form she presents herself in at work, she would barely care about the opinions of others.

✧ Interested in painting her significant other’s nails if they allowed her to. She takes great pride in her nails & tries all sorts of different patterns with them. At first, it is mostly the colours red or black but then she begins to experiment as she feels more comfortable with them.

✧ Takemi is extremely eccentric at times, despite having a calm demeanour at first. She loves to talk about her interests & progress on the medication development for Miwa. Though she would never torture them through a medical trial { that is what she has Akira for }. After listening to her & If they wanted to, she would take them to meet the same girl now that she is mostly healthy.

✧ However, Takemi can sometimes come off as very uncaring or blunt. Sugarcoating things never helps as a doctor & that translates into her real life personality. That can hurt at times of struggle, which is something she finds difficult to hold back. Though she is empathetic of situations, stating the facts helps her to make more informed decisions.

If it is not too much of a hassle I would love to hear your headcanons for Sae with and S/O who tries to be an older sibling/paternal figure for Makoto while also trying to make things work with Sae since she's working near constantly

- She knows she doesn't show it often but she really does care for Makoto. As much as how much she toils away in her work, she could never have the time to bond with her sister like she wanted and it doesn't help that the work system is so patriarchal.

- So when you come along, asking Sae if you can take care of Makoto when she works, she had to do a double-take. You would do that for her? You would do it for her, already diving deep into her work and snapping at any inconvenience, without any regrets? She already has her answer when you cooked for them while she relaxes with her sister.

- Sae wasn't still totally convinced until Makoto approaches her one night, asking when will you come and hang out because she misses you. It was at that moment Sae falls in love with you more.

- She appreciates everything that you do in order to lessen her and Makoto's stress. She knows her relationship is rocky ever since her father died so it feels nice to have you around and help her. Even when burning the midnight oil, you would take time to send her loving texts during work. Small things but it never fails to leave a smile on Sae's face.

- Communication is always key. While a bathtub filled with her favorite bath bombs is always a goodie, Sae sometimes just wants to do something else to unwind. That's why you and her would always make sure you two can talk to each other and plan her destressing afterwards. It doesn't just apply to her, Makoto would also be in on the relaxation project as she and her sister will talk about their day.
