Babysitter Billy AU

As anyone who's worked in a retail can tell you, children are often dropped off at your place of work, and you're expected to take care of them. Billy already works with the kids for swim lessons, so it's not too much of a leap.

The moms eye billy up and, instead of being creepy to a barely legal teenager, are eyeing him up to watch their kids after swim lessons. Billy needs the money and agrees to watch the children whom he affectionately dubbed his "shit rats."

The party and Steve are completely unaware of this save Lucas, who keeps hearing from Erica about how "awesome" her new babysitter is.

One day, the party is hanging out at Scoops Ahoy, talking to Steve when a small herd of young children storm the front counter, practically shouting their orders when a taller figure enters the shop.

"What did I tell you guys about running off? Now what...."

The voice trails off, and there's an audible pause in the store when Steve finally recognizes the children's leader.

"Hargrove?!"

There's a new babysitter in town, (An actual babysitter if you ask Billy because he's getting paid) and Steve is pissed because Billy makes it a habit of showing up at Scoops everyday after swim practice, drowning them in a sea of orders as soon as his shift starts. Billy watches with glee as Steve struggles, teasing him as Steve not only has to make the kids' orders but also clean up after them.

Even worse? Billy starts to show up at Scoops on his days off, and despite what Robin says, there's no way in hell Billy Hargrove is flirting with him.
