What do you think about cunnilingus with Itachi, Sasuke and Shisui?
cunnilingus
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[🗼] I just wrote an essay explaining my FANFICTION SKILLS to my english teacher I’m so ashamed of myself rn
characters: itachi uchiha; sasuke uchiha; shisui uchiha
genre: nsfw
warnings: fem!reader; cunnilingus duh; oral sex;
cunnilingus: oral sex performed on a pussy
Tumblr media
...
..
..
..
-my crow meow meow itachi is so sheepish at first !!
-everything that had to do with your pussy, itachi was so shy about itat first,,, but after a few sex sesh, he is now prepared to play with it heh
-he is so good I swear. itachi is very intelligent, so he picks up really quick at whatever task is in front of him
-slender fingers rubbing furiously your clit, he knows where it is of course, and his long and wet tongue playing with your pussy lips
-okk itachi is very fair with you during soft sex. he will always eat you out, and he is very soft about it. not really making a huge mess, and definitely not making you suffer
-BUT when he is in those moods, whether it was an act out of jealousy, he is stressed, or he is feeling simply kinky, theeen there is when you are whimpering and crying
-itachi will edge you to no end, but after a few times, he will stay like that and see how many orgasms you can take
-his tongue moves so quickly- you wonder how that fucking muscle is so agile, he doesnt even talk
-his fingers cover your entire pussy, concentrated more on your clit, and his mouth is swallowing your rich fluids
-itachi feels so flustered when he is between your legs because he gets to see your fucked out face between your round boobs, and he loves your titties to infinite levels please leave him alone
-very gentle boy, but when bothered, he becomes wild
Tumblr media
-I can only see sasuke being moderately aggressive
-like he doesn't go down on you that often, but when he does, it is because he is HUNGRY, and he wants you
-he would like to take you in different places of your house too, not only on your bed
-testing how much your knees support your weight as he eats your pussy like a starved man in the kitchen huh
-sasuke prefers to use more his mouth than his hands, they are probably on your hips or legs to keep you on place. his tongue is doing all the work but you still get to cum many times kkkk
-you feel your flesh palpitate under his skilled tongue, the vibrations he makes sending you to cloud nine
-sasuke doesn't last too much eating you out because he prefers ruining you with his cock best
-if you beg enough though, he might spend maximum ten minutes getting your fluids on his face, but you have to make him cum twice for that ehhh
-very hungry boy who loves taking you on the washing machine
Tumblr media
-shisui my beloved ay ay ay
-he takes he sweet time with you always,,, he is such a giver, of course he enjoys your blowjobs, but him going down on you is a whole different level of euphoria for him
-hearing your moans and feeling your tight tugs on his curls just encourage him to keep moving his mouth on your pussy
-bonus point if you squirt,,, he will bath his face with it,,,
-shisui loves overstimulation, so you can bet he will stay between your legs for at least half an hour
-you won't get tired-- no no, he is making you mewl all the time, just the best for his best girl
-he prefers using his mouth too, he thinks of it as if he were kissing the depths of your body, sealing your love. the only time he will use his thick fingers will be to work through your orgasm to overstimulate you
-but overall, he loves having his big hands on your thick thighs and your fat ass,,, he loves it so much he might as well eat it
-shisui also talks a lot during sex pfff so him eating you out is no exception
-he will tell you how erotic and hot you sound, how beautiful and creamy your pussy lips look, how you body is perfect for him, and how just squeezing your mere clit is making him painfully hard
-shisui loves working you out before thrusting in his thick cock, he loves you ok <##

Hi
It's me again 😅
How are you today? Hope you have a great day /night ✨
I have multiple questions 😅
I love reading naruto manga but it's there a part that I don't understand
Tumblr media
Why did sasuke try to kill naruto here? I just don't understand it😅😅
And if Sai didn't stop him from killing naruto, sasuke would kill him?
Also in this chapter, sakura said for naruto, sasuke is like brother to him
I just wonder why didn't she recognize naruto's feelings towards sasuke?
Or could it be naruto himself didn't recognize his feelings for sasuke yet? That his feelings is romantic? I just don't understand this chapter 😂
A little question :
When do you think naruto actually understand / recognize his romantic feelings towards sasuke?
Also your arts are beautiful as always ❤️❤️
Hi nancy-8140 ! 💕 Hope you're well!
"Why did sasuke try to kill naruto here? I just don't understand it😅😅
And if Sai didn't stop him from killing naruto, sasuke would kill him?"
So, prior to this, Sasuke already has made it known that he felt like he needed to (not wanted to) cut his bond with Naruto. As long as Naruto is alive, that love (take it how you will) would get in the way of his goals. It makes him vulnerable because as he tried to explain to Genin Naruto who at the time didn't understand yet: "it hurts to lose someone you love." (In Sasuke's case.. many someones..) That's why only Naruto was the one he felt like he needed to kill, only Naruto was left and was "in the way".
Sasuke couldn't kill Naruto and didn't take the shortcut for power even though he could've. He looks broken, miserable and devastated.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Does this look like a boy who wants to kill Naruto to you?
Tumblr media
Instead he chooses to literally walk into the "darkness" (hey, I know some Sasuke fans hate this, but this is the visual the Manga gives us and well it's true in a way.. so just using it for that purpose) to train with a creepy Snake man he hates for years instead. Because doing so is another chance of gaining power but keeping Naruto alive. Indeed, that is Sasuke's way. Because Sasuke loves Naruto. And so what do you think will happen when he sees Naruto again after almost 3 years? When Sasuke learns that Naruto has been actively searching for him despite having his own dream. That Naruto has never given up on him?
Tumblr media
Naruto knows Sasuke couldn't do it and provokes him. Look at Sasuke's face. The Manga literally brings you back to that moment in VotE1 and Sasuke's memories. The true reason why Sasuke needed to kill Naruto, his closest friend, but can't. Because Sasuke loves Naruto.
Tumblr media
Kishimoto makes him glide down to hug Naruto close and even while holding him, pressed against his body (this sounds like fan fiction but it really isn't) they're being flirty in an odd way.
If Sasuke had wanted to kill Naruto for real he would've and Naruto didn't seem to stop him at the time either. Naruto's body apparently moved on its own to stop Sai from stabbing Sasuke instead.
Tumblr media
"Also in this chapter, sakura said for naruto, sasuke is like brother to him"
"I just wonder why didn't she recognize naruto's feelings towards sasuke?"
Oh I would love to one day write an essay about Kishimoto writing Sakura/Sai observing Naruto/Sasuke. Because there is something really interesting happening in this Chapter and then again after the Pain Arc when Sai is telling her that Naruto loves her so much even though he doesn't and she gets turned down by both Naruto and Sasuke. Then Sai is like a vessel from a readers perspective getting fed spoons of information and I've always wondered if he was a character inspired by a person Kishimoto knew irl. It seems to me Kishimoto really likes Sai (I do too) and he comes to understand their bond more and more but it's a bit frustrating that the earlier ignorance is what anti's grab and use as evidence yet ignore later development. Sakura and Sai love to bullshit each other yet Sai does it unknowingly. Sakura is manipulative, purposefully being ignorant if it means she can stay in Sasuke-kun la-la-land. Kishimoto is a genius writer. I'll fight anyone. I'm sorry if I sound vague, this just takes a bit longer. I've already made a post about her "knowing about SNS" but somehow my blog won't load? Idk maybe it's just my Tumblr. I'll edit this post if it works again I'm sorry ;-; Anyway, Sai confronted Naruto with this information and this was his answer:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sai confronted Sasuke with this information and this was his answer:
Tumblr media
And that is Kishimoto saying: Naruto and Sasuke are not brothers thank you very much.
"When do you think naruto actually understand / recognize his romantic feelings towards sasuke?"
I've always felt that their journeys until the end of the story are about exploration, development, figuring things out. I don't think there really, truly is a moment when there is an "okay now it is romantic"-epiphany. Because what would that mean? Kishimoto can't show us an "Oh shit I think I'm actually really in love with him" panel/scene like that shitshow Hinata-fans got and I'm happy we didn't lmao. Instead we get an entire love-story tbh and I'm okay with that. Maybe if I were to guess (and it would fit the story nicely) is when he turned down Sakura, called her out on her bullshit after he tossed and turned for a whole night thinking about Sasuke, found out the truth about the UCM, had a panic attack, begged for Sasuke's forgiveness and sobbed with his head buried in the snow in front of the Raikage, then set his resolve and felt so confident and resolute that he left his Hitai-ate, went to his own little space with Sasuke to confess how he felt about him and in the end told him he would bear his burdens and die with him. All the while looking content and peaceful regardless of what happened before that. ;-; Because Naruto loves Sasuke.
"Also your arts are beautiful as always ❤️❤️"
Thankyou so much!! I'm happy you like them 🧡🧡

There's something I want to address and it's the claim that SS and NH are lacking or bad because Kishimoto can't write romance or can't write female characters. While I definitely agree that he doesn't write his female characters nowhere near as interesting or with the same depth as his male characters, Sakura and Hinata's characters being particularly bad and SS/NH being bad has nothing to do with his inability to write heterosexual romance. We have seen him write some.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dan and Tsunade had a romantic relationship, and we see them bond due to similar values and similar pain. They can relate and understand each other. They have things in common. They speak like equals. Now, I will not add all of their pages together because it will make the post too long, but isn’t it sad that in three pages we have a better connection, better understanding and more believable romance between a minor character and a side character, than we have between two main characters that had 700 chapters worth of time to have a believable romantic relationship and connection? I don’t even need to add all the pages where they are touchy and happy around each other or when Dan calls Tsunade his dream and kisses her forehead.
Now compare that to Sasuke and Sakura. To quote @sneezemonster15 "We are yet to see a profound, honest and emotionally touching interaction or conversation between Sasuke and Sakura". To add to that, we have yet to see Sakura say anything profound about Sasuke's character, goals or values. All we ever see her do is cry and scream how much she loves him and how much it pains her. Sasuke doesn't even treat her as an equal enough to face her whenever she pours out her feelings, like he does with Naruto. She doesn’t know anything about him because he never speaks to her. She has the nerve to compare him leaving her to the massacre of his family in terms of tragedy and loneliness, despite the fact she has a family, because she lacks empathy and understanding towards him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whenever she confesses, she looks angry, and her reasonings are irrational. She always tries to talk about herself in order to sway him. They never communicate, they never have deep conversations. They can’t relate to each other because Sakura doesn’t value her family and family is Sasuke’s character motivation and the most important thing to him. When Sasuke says there is no reason for him to love Sakura and no reason for her to love him, he’s right. What would Sasuke love about Sakura? He doesn’t even know her, and her values and behavior are something that irritates him. Sakura doesn’t know Sasuke either. She’s just addicted to him.
As for NH, Kishi was able to make a female character save her love interest without looking pathetic or coming off as selfish. And that character is Temari.
Tumblr media
Again I won’t post all the images but Temari comes to save Shikamaru because Tsunade send back up, and Shikamaru starts with his usual “a man can’t have a woman defend him” nonsense and Temari is like, telling him not to underrestimate her and she proves him wrong too. She does manage to save him. Temari is a great kunoichi and always shown as one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now compare this to Hinata. First of all as I pointed out in one of my essays Kishimoto build up this moment by having multiple characters say no one should join the fight between Naruto and Pain because they would only make things harder for Naruto and get in his way. Hinata is also told about this. But, as she says, her motivation to join the fight is selfish. She wants to confess her feelings. She also has no strategy, she just barges in and is immediately one-paneled by Pain and needs to be saved. So not only did Kishimoto show Hinata as an incompetent kunoichi, he also showed her as selfish and only thinking about her own feelings. This is completely different from how he portrayed Temari.
My point is, Kishi can write female characters as not pathetic, even if he doesn’t give them the same attention as his male characters. He can also make them have reasonable interest in a male character. He can write them as not selfish. He can write the romantic interaction as tasteful. But he never did this for SS or NH because he never intended them to be good romances.

What's your opinion on The Last: Naruto The Movie?
I actually had a lot of fun with it. Like, there's a lot to be desired from the way Naruto as a series handles romance and Hinata's character, but it made me want these crazy kids together. He's so Oblivious and endearing and even though I went in not caring too much, it made me care.
Also there was a battle on the moon and a giant laser pointed at the moon, so it includes everything a story really needs.
They did do some amount of retconning, tho, obviously (ex: they show Naruto using jutsu as a kid that he definitely didn't know yet, and also the claim that Naruto only liked Sakura because of his competition with Sasuke reads hollow - like I'm not a Sakura and Naruto shipper or anything, but I do believe he cares about her genuinely)
The end credits are funny because they show Sasuke at the wedding, but in Shippuden during the wedding specials, we see that he didn't even bother to go. He sent his dumb hawk.
God I love this trash series. I could write an entire video essay on it... hint hint

Tag Game!
Yay tag game! I was tagged by @evaofkonoha and I am tagging @shameless-fujoshi to do this (if you want to haha).
Are you named after anyone?
Nope! I like my name though 😊
What sports have you played?
If dancing counts as a sport then I danced for about fifteen years quite intensely! Otherwise, no. I dislike sports so much actually 😣 I used to pretend to be sick to get out of PE at school. I don't like the physicality and conflict and outside-ness of many sports. I am a squishy little indoors person!
Do you use sarcasm?
Yes! It is why writing in Sasuke's voice is easier for me than writing in Naruto's.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Hmm, I don't meet new people often actually. I think in general, I am not very good at reading people and it takes me a while to properly make friends. I think both online and IRL, I notice someone's way of speaking/writing/communicating. Their tone and voice and word choice etc.
What's your eye colour?
Very dark brown.
Scary movies or happy endings?
I can't do scary movies eeek. Thrillers, I can do, and I enjoy watching people play scary games sometimes, but horror is too much for me. In general movies are kind of overwhelming for me, I don't watch many of them!
So by default, I guess I like happy endings? I do think for me to enjoy them they have to be purposeful and earned (not necessarily by the characters but by the story).
Any talent?
Writing! While it has ebbed and flowed in its presence over the course of my life, it has always been with me in some form and I am proud of how I have grown with it, especially in the last two years. I am a pretty fast reader as well so I guess that's another one?
What are your hobbies?
Writing, reading, board games, and occasionally crafting things (sewing, crochet, painting miniatures).
Do you have any pets?
My partner has a dog!
How tall are you?
155cm. I am pretty short lol.
Dream job?
I am honestly quite happy with my current job (board game adjacent, relatively not stressful, lets me play with spreadsheets lol). I think my dream job is just not working tbh or doing something just mentally stimulating enough but not stressful and getting paid well for it! 😅 Isn't that the dream?
I will say, I wouldn't want to do any of the creative hobbies I love dearly, especially writing, as a job as I strongly believe it would ruin my love for them.
My answer to this particular question got very long so the rest is under the cut if you are interested in my thoughts. Otherwise, if this is your off ramp - thank you for reading and thank you to @evaofkonoha again for tagging me 🥰
rambling (a.k.a. why i don't want to write as a job)
Even if I worked for myself and got to create the things I wanted, I don't believe I would enjoy it, perhaps simply because it would be a job and it would become something I had to do instead of chose to do. I also believe that whatever I created wouldn't feel truly mine. I think part of the joy of a hobby is getting to do it whenever, however, whyever you want - I value that freedom highly.
For example, if I were to write a novel, even if I wrote it for myself, I would need to, eventually, pitch it to agents/publishers etc and it would always be in the back of my mind that 'this needs to be something that an agent/publisher believes would sell'. Even if I wrote it exactly as I wanted, perhaps someone further down the publishing line would ask for changes to improve its commercial value because, hey, they have to make money too, no? (And perhaps this view is jaded from working in a retail/sales environment for a couple years but if anything, I am even more sure of it now.)
From my time in uni studying creative writing (in which we got some experience pitching short pieces/essays to journals/student publications), I saw the level of ambition needed to succeed in a career like this and I just…don't want that kind of stress to be tied to my finances and living situation. I don't want my ability to be creative (which can wax and wane with the moon, it feels) to be what my paycheck hinges on. Perhaps this is because my creativity is so personal and sacred to me - it is the channel via which my soul interacts with the world - but perhaps it is to everyone? Maybe I am simply very sensitive about it, as I am with many things.
Studying creative writing made me fall out of love with the craft for a couple years, constantly overthinking my words and weighing them against form, content, industry, moral and message. I distinctly remember writing an memoir/essay I was quite proud of part way through my third year (within which I was quite vulnerable about myself) and being disappointed with my final grade on it, as it was so detached from my own personal pride in it. (To be fair though, looking back, it was not as technically sound as I had believed it at the time.)
To be clear, it is not that I wish to create completely void of external input and influence, and I do understand the importance of assessment and external feedback when it comes to developing technical skill! But for the point where I am in my life now, where I have done some formal learning and am starting to realise the infinity and freedom of informal learning, I just think there is a sweet spot where the amount and type of external input/influence is nuturing and kind and motivating and authentic. Too little influence and it can feel like screaming into the void - no resonance. Too much and . . . well, you get the above experience, where it feels like the thing you created as well as the process of creation becomes no longer wholly yours.
For me and what I have learned thus far in my life, my writing is best as this weird wildspace. That's what works for me! And I share my writing online in the purest sense of that word - share - because I want to show this small community something that means something to me, with no kind of transaction behind it. It's just out there, and you're also out there, and if you stumble upon it (or go looking for it) I hope this thing that means something to me means something to you too. I hope it creates resonance with you in this incomprehensible vastness of life.
Um, yeah. That's cool to have that written out and articulated! Thanks for reading 😊

Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....Thanks....
This is a difficult one! I've loved a LOT of characters over the years even if the current blorbo of interest is NHS from MDZS/CQL bc he's just such a fun little guy BUT lets see if I can try to do this chronologically and not in like, any character ranking fashion:
1 & 2: these two characters are absolutely the rulers of my heart: Huang Rong and her father, Huang Yaoshi from Legend of the Condor Heroes by Jin Yong. I just love my beloved spoiled conwoman princess and her insane evil wuxia version Maes Hughes dad so much. I could write so many essays about the Huangs and how they mean so much to each other and also to me. I'm always insane about family members who have complex relationships with each other and that's super evident with them.
3. Uchiha Madara from Naruto. Now, people who have known me for a long time know that I am a Naruto girlie, and that I skipped all the way to "Sasuke's Insane and Sad Pathetic Ancestor" on the character likes list. I love insane murder men and Madara is an insane murder man! He's also very sad. What's there not to like about him truly.
4. Mirasol from Chalice by Robin McKinley. I have a deep love for beauty and the beast narratives and this one ALSO had magic bees. I love Mirasol for her kindness and her devotion even in the wake of massive change and I have a special fondness for the entire story of Chalice both for the lovely worldbuilding and also Mirasol herself.
5&6. Sansa Stark and Cersei Lannister from A Song of Ice and Fire. I really really love both of these characters for entirely opposing but also really similar reasons! I love them for their flaws. For being stuck in their positions in a world that's really just! not! kind to them! and how they take that and go in such different directions.
7. Sheng Rulan from The Story of Minglan. I have such a soft spot for Rulan. She's petty, she's spoiled, she has so much love and holds onto her principles and her dreams so tightly, she's her father's least favorite child despite also being a legitimate daughter, she finds love, she's so cute, she's the clearest sighted of all four of the Sheng sisters, she's got such a growth arc to her, I love her SO SO MUCH. (I love all three of her sisters too don't get me wrong, Rulan is just my favorite.)
8. Wei Yingluo from The Story of Yanxi Palace. Yingluo! My girl! Never have I ever seen a female lead with so much pent up rage and desire to get even in a story that does not judge her for her hard edges and her propensity for violence. I love that about her. I love how kindness and cruelty and how her quest for vengeance never destroys her ability to love and care for others and recognize other people's genuine kindness and the difficulties other people face in life. I love her shrewdness and her determination to survive too! I'm just! So fond of her!
9. Jaskier from The Witcher (TV). I RARELY TALK ABOUT. MY UNAGING BARD BLORBO. BUT I LOVE HIM. I love the messy relationship Jaskier, Geralt and Yennefer have in the Witcher TV show and I REALLY love the way that Jaskier is portrayed. I don't know anything about the games but! I just! I love! This annoying kind of foppish man because annoying foppish male characters are another beloved character archetype for me, see below.
10. Nie Huaisang from The Untamed/Modao Zushi. Beloved Blorbo. Little crimes man. Unfilial and spoiled. Beloved for being SO jiggly and full of trauma and his tragedy is writ large to me because it! powers! the plot! without his tragedy there is no plot! he burns down his social circle because he loves his brother! There's just so much in here that's like, oh god. I love that he's an annoying foppish dandy and that he loves his pets and creature comforts and that he doesn't enjoy working hard and has so many problems. This too is life. I love this little guy I want to rotate him for a good long time.

What kind of fanfics (or books in general) would the Gaang+other characters write?
i can no longer find the post, but someone once told me that they once read a fanfic of aang helping sasuke from naruto work through his internalized homophobia. i like to think aang himself wrote that fanfic :)
i also think he would make an artbook of his crafts and paintings and jewelry and photography. it has a very special place on katara's shelf, next to her volumes of indigenous postcolonial intersectional feminist theory and (ethical yet deeply horny) romance novels <3
also, obviously, aang's memories of growing up as an air nomad before the war are recorded, both as a record of prewar air nomad culture, and as a biography of the avatar's childhood. it's taught in schools and stuff
katara wrote a lot of stories as a kid that were clearly just about thinly veiled self-inserts who join robin hood's band of merry men and become the new leader who not only robs rich people, but steals robin hood's heart <3 and other similar characters who fight sexily against injustice. she probably had a big magneto phase and thought professor x was the biggest clown ("dude can't even walk, meanwhile i am so good at hockey, swimming, basketball, soccer, etc. erik lehnsherr needs a real man like me")
in the avatar world they have different dominating cultural stories and also she was too busy practicing waterbending and complaining about doing laundry to write down her little fantasies about having a bad boy revolutionary bf, but she still contemplated them (by which i mean the equivalents of these stories) of course.
also katara writes rly important, groundbreaking theory that issues in a new wave of feminism, specifically in the water tribes. essays/manifestos on sexism, colonialism, imperialism, violence. they're thoughtful and accessibly written, based on her own experiences, which she explicitly describes within the essays, which read like memoirs in parts. her books are very grounded in her own lived realities, direct and to the point, a clear call to action, and very inspiring.
sokka had a really big crush on mulan as a kid and when he saw the garbage straight to dvd sequel it disappointed him so badly that he vowed to rewrite it so that it was good now actually. he got three pages in before it occurred to him that this was a waste of time because no one but him would ever actually read it, and he abandoned it. little did he know that suki would have loved to read it, but he didn't know suki yet. alas
he's also one of those nerds who wrote an unauthorized sequel to flatland. it was for a creative writing assignment in school, and his teacher, who didn't understand a single word of it, gave him a C. he let mai read it and she loved it, though, so that's what matters.
like katara, sokka also pens a lot of theory. unlike katara, his writing is very dense, sprawling, overly cerebral, highly abstract, and borderline illegible. his works are sort of like if feynman and derrida had a baby and also that baby was in desperate need of an editor who could whittle down every four pages into one sentence. he writes theory in pretty much every field imaginable, including fields he all but invented. which means that every single student of something has to read at least one of his texts at least once in their life. people who can actually figure out what the hell he's saying swear that he's an absolute genius and that his ideas changed their life, but most people just pretend to have read his stuff, because there's no way in hell they're reading an 800 page book about how bending is actually math.
toph has never written anything, nor has she any desire to. the most she ever writes is when she dictates letters to sokka, which always say the same thing, "hey, come over here so i can talk to you in person. fuck you, toph"
zuko writes cringey self-insert fanfic both in modern au and in the avatar world. he writes blue spirit x zuko selfcest (but you don't get it it's actually a metaphor about the duality of the self, and he's working out his inner demons UGH dont make fun of him!!!!!!!) and is that guy who writes really dark fucked up fanfic about cartoons (he's watched. a lot. of anime). he's really into theatre – plays, operas, musicals, you name it. he went through a big tennessee williams phase, and tried to write exactly like him, to.... middling success. he tried to write a musical once, only to realize one song in, that playing some instruments and appreciating mitski's genius doesn't actually equate to having any compositional talent. he'll stick to critiquing, and leave the creative writing to people with more style and imagination.
suki doesn't even read books and you want her to write one??
ty lee wrote touching and hilarious letters to mai whenever they were apart, which mai keeps stored in a small wooden chest and pulls out to read whenever she is feeling wistful. otherwise, you'd be lucky to even get a text back from her
mai once wrote a story inspired by over the garden wall about two characters who are clearly just her and tom-tom navigating a mysterious a sinister forest together. it really helped her work through some stuff
she also writes academic criticism/theory/research, which is ever so slightly more lucid and succinct than sokka's.
and she's also incredible at writing roasts. she gives a speech every year at zuko's birthday (an official holiday now that he's firelord) and it fucking kills.
azula was discouraged from attempting to write fiction at a young age, when ursa admonished her after she made zuko cry upon devising a truly gruesome tale about woodland creatures. considering that she finds most novels insipid, poetry either boring at best or nauseating at worst, and fanfiction a hobby practiced by only the most pathetic of simple-minded losers, she doesn't think she's missing out.
many many many years down the road, azula writes a series of essays on how to identify and resist indoctrination (from a totalitarian state, abusive father, etc). umberto eco's ur-fascism for fire nation girls <33
aunt wu publishes a book that is one part self-help, one part gloating memoir, one part spiritual guide, one part personality quiz, and 100% barf. sokka cannot believe that katara has read it cover to cover multiple times, as if it contains wisdom deserving of being gleaned even once. he'd burn it if he didn't know that katara would just immediately go out and buy another copy, giving even more of her money to that glorious scammer.
of course we all know about yue's beautiful epic poetry, but lesser known are her diary entries, which served as her treasured outlet through which to vent her suppressed and overwhelming feelings while serving as the northern water tribe's princess. she didn't write every day, and sometimes her entries were longer than others. in the weeks between meeting sokka and the siege of the north, yue's diary entries took a turn for the messy, rambling, dramatic, and graphic. thankfully her diaries were well-hid under a rug in her room, and arnook never found them.
king bumi spent a couple decades or so publishing a series of action-adventure-erotica novels under a pseudonym. once you've been around for long enough, you start to do things just for the hell of it. especially if you're bumi.
that girl jin from zuko's failed first date in ba sing se def has "went thru a phase of writing hardcore slash fic" vibes. i can't explain it she just does. i wouldn't know what about, though, because zuko never asked her what her interests were.
pakku once wrote a novella about a very miserable man who causes problems for himself for no reason. many years down the line, sokka read it and was like "wow, pakku, this is an amazing piece of satire. i never knew you had such a great sense of humor!" and pakku is just like "it wasn't meant to be funny." and sokka's like ".........oh."
combustion man may be a man of few words, but the novel in verse he's been writing (with his meat hand) paints a portrait of a surprisingly sensitive soul, and it may move you to tears.

Hey!
Last time I asked about anime recommendations and it was nice to add some to my list.
I love your Kakashi art, your Sasori art and I am happy about it, tbh.
When I was younger, I used to like the idea of Kakashi and Tsunade instead of Jiraeya, cause I felt like he waited to long for her and those two are more fierce.
And I also ship Sakura with Sasori and Gaara.
I feel like the pink and red is just so aesthetic and even tho I liked Sakura and Sasuke individually, I wanted to see her with Gaara, cause is also strong, similar to Sasuke but a healed and mature, caring person while Sasuke was heartbroken and focused on revenge cause of Itachi, Madara, Obito etc
Plus, she wanted to be like a doctor, she is a healer and I imagine that she'd heal Gaara heart.
But Sasori is like her assigned enemy, some people view her as the protagonist kind version of Konan, but I do not see it.
Deidara goes for Sasuke, Sasori for Sakura and from what I remember, Naruto goes against Pain.
I wanted to ask what are your opinions of Naruto and Boruto.
Who are your favourite characters and why?
Are there any characters you dislike? I remember you said that Minato hurt a lot of your favourites (Obito I assume, the uchihas).
Who are your favourite characters to draw?
Do you like the changes in Boruto? Like Orochimaru being way more kind or Sarada unlocking sharigan cause of love for Boruto instead of hate..like most of her clan?
Are there any characters you relate to?
Who are your favourite canon ships and non canon ships?
I am just grateful cause you are so talented and so open about these rare ship yet never critical over what the community likes, I wish more people in this fandom were like this.
Hiii! Thank you for sharing your opinion. I hope you are then ready for my essay below :3 I don't watch Boruto so will only talk about Naruto.
My all-time favourite characters are Kakashi, Zabuza, Sasori, Tsunade. I fell for them as a dumb teenager and carried my love for them through the ages. Can't explain why, they are very hot, strong and at the same time weak, have an emotional baggage that is interesting to explore. Plus they are not the main characters, I really like that. I also very much like Konan, Jiraiya, Sakura and Kisame.
The character I don't like is definitely Minato. He's this sunshine boy (which I don't like to begin with) who fails, and fails badly. But no one really gives him a hard time and he doesnt acknowledgeit himself. I think he's lacking the character, so-called oomph, so looks very boring to me, I guess. I also don't like Obito, another sunshine boy (initially). Too much energy, too hard to handle. And probably any Uchiha in general are not my fave.
When it comes to drawing, I always prefer drawing women. Sakura, Ino, Tsunade and Rin are the ones I draw most, but I honestly like all of them when it comes to making pretty arts.
Kakashi has always been a person who I aspired to be since I was 13. I did relate with Sakura when I rewatched naruto in my mid twenties, felt that we both grew up together.
I generally don't find the appeal of canon ships. It feels like there's no magic. I'm always interested in the 'first' events, and allt he firsts in canon are kind of done. For non canon ships, I have plenty. Kakasaku, Sasosaku, Inosaku, Zabukaka, Kisasaku, Kakatsu, Jiratsu, Kakarin, Shisaku.. the list can go on!

Hi! Do you think making Sasuke stay in Konoha is ooc? Why or why not because there are so many fanfics that go like Naruto brings Sasuke back in the village he's either imprisoned or rendered unable to use his powers and somehow persuaded to stay in the village and not enough Naruto and Sasuke leave the village together exploring the world trying to help other villages and connect with people that share similar experiences with them while also developing their own relationship together. I don't know this feels more true to their characters. Also would this be something you'd like to explore in your future stories? Love your writing!
Hey anon!! I love this phrasing like an essay question hahaha okay okay lemmie get some brainstorming started
So first off, I’ve written both of these! Not the imprisonment scenario specifically, but I do have some fics with Sasuke in Konoha. So I don’t think it’s ooc, necessarily. I definitely think of the two choices, it’s the tougher one to write - you really have to work on justifying it in Sasuke’s head. Sasuke staying in Konoha, to me, relies on probably one of two things: (1) the world can’t change without his help, and he’s ready to help it again, and/or (2) Konoha is unrecognizable as what it once was, and now Sasuke sees it as another place entirely. I did a mix of those in Rebuilding; [SPOILERS if you haven’t read it] they do go travelling at the end, but they also have a house in Konoha, and Sasuke reconnects to the Uchiha compound. Naruto also really needs his help, as the person leading the charge—and Sasuke not only sees that he’s trying & struggling, but he knows Naruto can do it. In the fic, anyway. So that’s a way I think it can work; Sasuke hates Konoha but I don’t think his desire to change the ninja system is gone or anything. I think he’d either want to be 100% out of the loop, or find it really, really hard not to get involved, because anything that stalled Naruto’s efforts or what have you would infuriate him.
And I think this debate/choice is especially tough for them as a pairing, because either Sasuke needs manage to be okay with Konoha (which, in canon, he really really isn’t), or Naruto needs to be able to detangle himself from Konoha (which, in canon, he really really can’t). This is part of the reason my canonverse fics end up being so long lmao. It takes so much development to get anywhere!!!
But yeah, I’ve done both and I think both can work. It’s a really interesting challenge to try to tackle, too. Right now I’m tackling more of them being out, travelling together in Two is a Crowd - I feel like I’ve being going that route a lot recently, but it does still involve exploring Sasuke’s relationship with Konoha a lot. Especially because Naruto tends to be the Hokage, or getting ready to be, etc etc. It’s pretty hard to try and write Sasuke healing without dealing with the absolute hatred & fury he’s carrying around in some shape or form. And it’s not that much of a jump for the next step to be him being able to go there as part of the healing process, and maybe he's just thrown in head first by being imprisoned and is forced to confront his hatred all at once - that could happen. It'd be a really intense bit of time for him and probably involve a lot of breaking down, but if something could convince him to breathe for a little while and focus on the parts of his life that aren't bringing back trauma long enough to prove that Konoha is changing or something like that - yeah, I could see that. And you know, now that I think about it, I did start writing something like that years ago! It's in my notebook somewhere. It's basically just the start where Sasuke is absolutely furious & lashing out at everything hahaha. Can't blame him! I never finished it though. It'd be a much more intense & less peaceful sort of process for sure, but it could work.
This is a bit of a wishy-washy answer hahaha, but I'm a big believer in being able to make almost anything work with enough justification & development within the story. I think that's part of the fun. So something really tough, like making Sasuke okay enough with Konoha to happily live there, is totally a challenge I'd love to see tackled. Does that make sense? Does this all make sense? I'm rambling at you now.
But thank you for this, and thank you so much! I’m really glad you like my writing!! <3 <3 I hope this answered your question!

Oh gosh I second what the other anons are saying! Speaking of Itachi & Minato ultra fans, the ones on Reddit and Youtube are UTTERLY insufferable. So many discussions on those platforms about the two involve V.S. battles and ridiculous power scaling!!! It's fine that they love these characters, and there's no denying they're strong, but it ALWAYS ends up in a playground game. "Minato's stronger than infinity!", "Oh yeah?? Well, Itachi's stronger than infinity +1!!!". It's a continuous argument that never ends; the only thing it exists to do is prop up their respective faves. ughhh. I feel u on the future generations surpassing the older one, too. That also irritates me super bad :( [sorry 4 the essay in ur box i had alot 2 say ❤]
Do not apologize for the essay please
I got really pissed at one of those youtube video’s that was power scaling between Kakashi and Tsunade. Like, yay it recognized that Kakashi was super strong but it downplayed tsunade’s skills SO HARD.
Like no, i actually don’t want my fav’s strengths recognized at the expense of others. I’m not these toxic af reddit and youtube dudes. Give Tsunade the respect she friggen deserves as a Sannin!
I see so much of that too where they just have to make sure everyone knows how strong their super ultra fav is.
Tobirama fans too, except with an added level of toxicity of ‘he was right to hate the Uchiha and Danzo was a good guy’. I want to say i’m surprised there are supporting a character who vouched for the murder of LITTERAL CHILDREN but somehow in this world i’m unfortunatly not surprised
Another thing that annoys me is ‘Itachi has the saddest back story’
Don’t get me wrong, he has a sad back story and he made an incredably horrible choice and took his brothers hatred for yesrs in hopes of helping him get stronger
But he’s no where NEAR having the saddest
Naruto, alone with people hating him for something he had no control over for years (and i mean outwardly hating him. He was loathed)
Gaara being hated by not just the village but his own father?
Sasuke literally walking into his home to find his clan and parent’s murdered by the person he looked up to the most? And then finding out this all happened because some hateful POS’ who had power in Konoha?
Kakashi fighting to keep his precious people safe and losing them one by one?
Sorry, Itachi’s backstory is sad but it’s not comparable

widespread misinformation within the naruto fandom:
please keep in mind that this thread is informative and factual. it is not to bring characters and fandoms down. also, i, unfortunately, won’t be able to bring up every bit of misinfo since there is way too much
"hinata was pregnant"
she was not. given the fact that boruto and sarada are a few days apart, sakura would also have to be pregnant. she obviously was not, nor was she traveling with sasuke. this was anime filler anyway.
Tumblr media
"Itachi can beat madara"
no, he can't. itachi is strong, yes but he is not as strong as some of you make him out to be.
sasuke's mischaracterization. this issue could be a whole essay, but i will keep it short.
some of you need to realize that the anime does in fact change various scenes, especially, sasuke's. no, he is not as cold and deadbeat as ppl claim he is.
"ino married sai as a replacement to sasuke"
ino and sai have great romantic development in the novels. ino grows to genuinely love and care for sai and vice versa. also, she merely only had a crush on sasuke. she never loved him, she loves sai.
heres a great post to understand saiino's relationships:
“hinata gave sasuke her lunch after the massacre"
this was never stated. it's a headcanon that got spread. nowhere was it mentioned in naruto retsuden, unlike popular belief
Tumblr media
“sasuke asked sakura to wear the uchiha crest”
this was never stated in canon. yes, it would make sense, but it is just a headcanon.
karins backstory is filler.
it was a filler tsukuyomi dream she had. the only part that is canon about her past are:
-she was saved by sasuke in the chunin exams -her village was destroyed and she followed orochimaru
"sasuke asked itachi how to speak to a pink-haired girl when he was younger"
this was also never stated. just a popular headcanon.
"sasuke left sakura after sarada was born"
Tumblr media
sasuke left for his mission when sarada was a toddler (2-4 yrs).
we know the reason why he left for his mission. if you wanna hate, at least use accurate information.
ranking of the kunoichis. this is definitely one of the most misunderstood concepts.
tsunade was canonically the strongest kunoichi in the naruto verse until sakura surpassed her. this is just an unchangeable fact. team 7 is the strongest team and sakura is stronger than the rest of k12. sasuke and naruto are stronger than EVERYONE, including sakura. considering only sakura's generation, temari would be the second strongest.
there is no point in spreading misinformation about characters to prove their value.
there is so much more that i wish to include but they are considered controversial and i really don't want to deal with ppls shit.
i recommend reading informational threads and posts about the naruto verse instead of spreading misinformation to fit your narratives.

hiii tamelee <3 you said you were writing a script for sns, right? could you give us the vaguest idea what it's about or do you want it to be a surprise? i love your art btw its so pretty
Hiii! 💕 oh yes I'd love to!! Tysm for liking my art and your interest in it! Ah, yes! The script was pretty much finished and I planned on drawing it already... but I felt like I had to research something Kishimoto used as reference a bit better and then... I fell into the student/research rabbit-hole.. >.< I had to make a change and it's taking me a bit of time, but I'm getting there 🥹 ((I'm also not too sure about Kakashi as Hokage around that time, I can't really find much and I refuse to read more novels or watch that terrible movie -.- does anyone know?)) Hmm'~ It's an SNS-story, but the plot isn't focussed on romance. Doesn't mean there won't be any though...... ((Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't think either are ready to accept it at that point in their lives despite VotE2. Acknowledgement is one thing. Acceptance another. But taking the next vulnerable step when both are (secretly) terrified of loss and rejection? Oh man. Anyway, there'll be no (immediate) hand holding or skipping over happy rainbows, I'll say that much 👀)) There are things I want to say, but in essays my words fall short and so, I wanted to create a story with that purpose ^^ The plot isn't spread over a long time at all and starts around 2 years after the war when they're 19y- blank period. I may have to switch it to 18-20y because I'm not too sure about Kishimoto's timeline and I weaved in background info through the original. It may not be perfectly aligned, but I did my best >.< And so, the story itself starts much earlier- there are a few flash-backs. I entirely made up the conflict of course, but it is focussed around.... hm, I guess problems that we expected were going to be solved during that time but clearly never were? I'm not 'fixing' the future that is shown in the sequel, but I'm challenging the possibility of that outcome and consequences in my story anyway. Fair warning, there is quite a bit of satire.. Naruto and Sasuke not excluded 😬🤷🏻‍♀️ (It has purpose, I promise.) If anyone saw the design of an OC (I made changes already xD), then you probably saw that Amegakure will play a role as well. I guess you could see the story as some sort of filler-arc made by a dedicated fan, because those also have some characters you'd only see during that arc and then never again :') That's kinda how I approached it anyway. I asked myself 'If I could fill in the timeline here after Sasuke left Konoha and having the future in mind, how would I do that? 🤔' I tried thinking about things I can reveal already or things that will happen, but I feel like it's better to keep it as a surprise!!! 🫢 I haven't written a blurb either. (Why did no one tell us how hard it is to do that? Props to all authors, honestly.) I'll probably post some sketches soon, there are still a few things I have to design as well ^^ aaannndd... it will also come with cw/tw's... it definitely isn't suited for everyone but I can't wait to start the journey~

hi! do you know what naruto hot take/opinion/theory will get me murdered by my naruto loving housemate? i've been told ghosts don't have to sit finals,,,,,
apwiueghpfalsdj Oh man, Naruto discourse is a lot. Here's a few?
Sasuke is ethnically a cop
Hyuuga curse seals have a solid point in "keep my cousin's eyeballs from getting stolen" even though the slavery was a shit take
The alien lore IS good because it's rooted in Japanese mythology, just like the rest of the series
Also the wood release isn't a bloodline limit because no one inherited it and people should stop calling it that
Literally anything about Jiraiya "Jiraiya wouldn't have fucked up Naruto's upbringing" should do the trick
Karin wasn't a sexual predator, she was a teenage girl with a crush and fuckton of trauma that had her exaggerating her feelings
How much of an influence did that seal on his heart have on Obito's behavior? Discuss.
Zetsu's mommy complex
Literally anything about Boruto. Just say you heard it was good and did some fun things with Sakura's character, you'll probably get stabbed.
Ask them if Naruto and Sasuke are straight or not.
If they like SasuSaku, tell them you read a SasuNaru or SasuKarin ship fic and liked it. If they like NaruSaku, tell them you read SasuSaku or SasuKarin and liked it. If they like SasuNaru, tell them you think Naruto and Sasuke are straight with a deep and meaningful friendship but have never liked a man in their life.
Naruto is genderfluid and in this essay I will-- (This could get you murdered from multiple directions. Assuming your friends aren't assholes, they might not like the implication that Naruto's objectifying joke technique is a sign of a deeper gender identity crisis.)
From a friend: Also probably like. Depending on the person. Gaara IS a nightmare human and if I were a person living in that world sorry I would never be okay existing within 30 miles of him! I just wouldn’t! I know he’s better now but he’s scary actually and it’s hard to prove a demon made him do it even with the empirical existence of demons!
Naruto shouldn't have actually become hokage; it should have gone to someone with bureaucratic skills
Hiruzen was terrible at his job
So much of the discourse for Naruto is honestly just shipping
Kakashi was too young for a kid and was right to opt out of any chance at adopting Naruto
Anyway, you can maybe get strangled if you claim Orochimaru earned his redemption

Okay okay since I love hearing you rant: Who is your favourite Naruto character and WHY
sdkrhlsdfhgkjlshdfklghskldfhgkljsgfsd
I am going to give you all
THREE GUESSES
(it's obviously danzou, right?)
click under the cut for a WHOLE ESSAY
On a marginally more serious note: Kakashi has been one of my favourite characters since I was a wee bairn! I was also an edgy emo bairn, so the Akatsuki were my absolute favourites back in the day - I was deep into the 'they're all just chilling in a house together and acting like frat kids' part of the fandom. But I always thought Kakashi was a Cool Guy, y'know?
Then I started rewatching as an adult. As a very depressed adult who happened to be the same age Kakashi was at the start of Nart (the Nart-start, if you will).
And I realised... bruh... he really was just Some Guy dealing with one hell of a shit hand of cards, huh??
Like, the village gave him a jinchuuriki to look after! A jinchuuriki who JUST found out why the entire village HATES him, and who sees himself as a vessel for the monster that killed his hero and almost destroyed his home. A jinchuuriki who happens to be the son of the guy who kinda raised Kakashi! And who looks just like him! But Kakashi is forbidden from telling him anything about his own family!
And he's the most reckless and ridiculous shinobi ever!!!
Then one of the other boys they give him to train is the LAST SURVIVOR OF A LITERAL GENOCIDE. That was carried out by Kakashi's own teammate (on Konoha's orders, though of course, none of them know that at the time). And this boy is still obviously very fucking traumatised!
Sakura must've been a breath of fresh air skldfghskldhfg
Like... Kakashi is Not The Most Emotionally Stable Guy in canon. He does fuck up with Sasuke (and spends the rest of the series beating himself up about it) but let's be real - a HELL of a lot more support was needed, for that squad.
Konoha needs therapists. Konoha needs to stop using child soldiers. But those are massive issues that couldn't have been fixed for Doylian ReasonsTM! Unless Kakashi literally went rogue, grabbed the kids, ran off to start a chill farm somewhere and probably got hunted down for his troubles, they were always going to be stuck in a fucked-up environment, because they were raised in a martial state still recovering from a MASSIVE war.
...I'm rambling but the point is, SO MANY MESSED-UP FACTORS led to the rift in Team 7 and Sasuke's eventual defection. Kakashi definitely takes waaaaaay too much responsibility onto his own shoulders. But hey!!! Guilt complexes are my character kryptonite, so I shlorp that tasty soop right up.
Anyway, the main catalyst for my ongoing obsession with the lanky scarecrow man is because of those later flashback episodes where you saw just how fucking numb and depressed he was before he got the kids. 1) empathy. 2) my entire viewpoint of him shifted from 'cool funny wiseguy who gets all the best fight scenes' to '...oh god just let him chill with his dogs and his kids and be happy'
...Then you have the whole freaking INSANE plot with Obito! Where like... the guy Kakashi modelled half his personality and his entire ethos around, after suffering repeated trauma and PTSD as a kid... the guy he's looked up to since Obito died for him, the guy whose sacrifice motivated Kakashi to allow himself to care about other people again, the guy who IS his entire morality, practically...
TURNS OUT TO HAVE BEEN ALIVE ALL ALONG? AND CAUSED THE KYUUBI ATTACK THAT SET OFF THIS WHOLE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS??? AND HE'S ONE OF THE BIG BADS OF THE ENTIRE SERIES???????
Like!!!! That's so fucking juicy!!!!
The angst.... the pain............... the shipping opportunities.........
I love this food, thank u kishimoto :kisses:
and obviously, I saw Kakagai in a Very New Light too - the main reason I got back into the series was because I heard they got married in Boruto and had to see for myself sdljfglsdjfg
suffice to say, I was not disappointed

What's your opinion on Boruto?
Ok, so I had to wait until I was on my laptop for a bit to respond to this one, because, it's complicated and long. I have only watched up to "Himawari's Ninja Trial Session" #154 so far.
On the one hand,
•I like that we get to see the characters all grown up, and seeing their children is super fun! Mitsuki, Inojin, Chocho, Himawari, and Shikadai are all a lot of fun to watch and my favorites in the show. We get to see Kakashi, and Gai, and Tenten, Ino, Sai, and other of my favorite og Naruto characters all grown up and living their best lives.
On the other hand.... (and this one will be a lot longer ghdskfld).
• The characterization for a lot of the og Naruto characters, is, let's just say, off. Naruto, after everything with his parents and wishing he could have his parents back, being an absent father? Especially with all of the shadow clones he can make and chakra he has? No. Tsunade and Kakashi AND Naruto all letting Orochimaru go free, after everything he has done to Konoha, and being able to experiment more? No. Sakura being ok with being basically a single mother, raising Sarada all by herself, never getting over Sasuke? Nope!
• But, here's the thing: I'm also rather bothered by the ending of Shippuden. The beginning of the series, there is a really strong stance on "breaking the cycle of hatred." Once Naruto becomes more mainstream, the solution for "breaking the cycle of hatred" is finally revealed: don't seek reparations, don't try and change the current system too much, and just forgive and forget.
➼ Naruto, shunned and hated by the village? There is never any reparations shown, just, now that he has saved them all and is a hero, they pretend it never happens? No one apologizes, or talks about it? There's just a small scene with Naruto accepting the "dark" side of himself that is upset with how he is treated, and it's all brushed over.
➼ Same with Kakashi, being shunned as a kid for Sakumo saving his team? Later labeled a "friend killer" and still shunned, when all he is doing is doing his best for the village and acting on their rules. And Sakumo, driven to the unthinkable because of the hatred of the village. There is never actually any action taken there.
➼ This includes the Uchiha and Sasuke. His entire clan was shunned, considered "cursed with hatred", ostracized, and eventually killed because of Danzo, his brother made out to be the only perpetrator. He, rightfully, wants revolution, an entire upturning of the current system that allowed this to happen. He went a little too far in killing others not involved in this system, but he wasn't wrong. He and his entire clan that he represents were grievously mistreated by this system, and nothing is ever really done about it. Sure, Danzo is killed, but he wasn't the only one complicit in the massacre. The only reason Sasuke doesn't get the reparations he deserves is because of Naruto, too, because he would have had to kill him, his best friend, to do it. And isn't that fucked up, that you have to even hurt, let alone kill, your best friend to get the justice you deserve? Sasuke was given the short end of the stick on that one.
• And, finally: the aliens from space were a complete cop-out on the writers part. No, seriously. Everything bad ever done is blamed on Zetsu and Kaguya manipulating from the shadows, with the exception of a couple of the worst ones (looking at you Danzo). Madara still started a war and killed hundreds over it, same with Obito. The villages still behaved terribly towards those who were different (Gaara, the kekkei genkai massacre in Mist, Naruto, Kakashi, Uchiha clan, Tailed Beasts, etc.).
➼ If they actually wanted to stick to the og message of "breaking the cycle of hatred", they would have had Madara be the actual final villain, the wronged clan leader of the Uchiha, and they would have won, sure, but barely, and recognized how their own prejudices and behavior lead to another great war. Maybe Obito would have survived, to not leave the Uchiha clan with only one member. There would be a new generation after the war, of people who realized that the previous way wasn't working; that it was wrong. With Sasuke and Obito helping lead that change, with Kakashi and Naruto as their Hokages. There would be ACTUAL CHANGE.
This all could have translated over to Boruto, with actual justice for those wronged, and not just burying the past and hoping the next generation will never find out. I hate that Sarada has no idea what happened to her own clan, that she is so far removed from her own clan and history. Boruto doesn't really understand what his dad went through as a kid. Naruto as an absent father. A scientist that experiments on a kills children, allowed to walk free, with the children he experimented on (Yamato, Karin, Suigetsu, Jugo) having to either stay with him or watch him 24/7.
So, anon, sorry that turned into an essay, ghdskflsd, but the above bullets are how I feel on Boruto. If the ending of Naruto Shippuden and Boruto actually addressed the systemic injustices and issues in the villages, I would have absolutely loved it. As it is now, I will probably still watch it, but I get upset over all the above bullet points each time I watch and rant to all my discord friends about it (sorry about that ghdskflsd)
