Like, Alfred is pretty normal about it when he's put in charge of date night. He's taking Emil to a nice dinner, or to the ice rink or some other boring romantic thing.

But Emil is doing absolutely crazy shit. Playing volleyball next to an active volcano is a date night to him. Picking through the carcus of a dead whale he found on the beach is his idea of a romantic activity. Alfred shows up at his house and he's handing him a red solo cup like "hey, I just bought a bottle of Windex, you wanna find out what it tastes like? What do you mean bad idea? What's the point of being immortal if we can't drink window cleaner?"

And this is, unfortunately, one of the reasons Alfred is in love with him.

I was in this scientific looking university with America (SATW) as my roommate. Norway and Sweden (also SATW) were in the dorm next to us. Satan was one of my teachers. Eventually a bunch of scientists took over and made us do things that were regarded as torture, like crawling through a tunnel made of yarn. I got out by holding Sweden’s foot.

How I feel about this character:Interestingly enough, he wasn’t a ‘love at first sight’ as favourite characters go, but he grew on me spectacularly over the years.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character:Oh I have played with the idea of pairing him with every single Ami, and even Marius and Javert, but my go-to love interests are Grantaire and Feuilly. ...Sometimes both.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character:Les Amis, all of them. But let’s say Combeferre, because he’s the one I’m least likely to ship him with (besides J&B who have each other).

My unpopular opinion about this character:Not unpopular in my own corner, but it still seems to be in the wider fandom: he’s not a rude, shouty, out-of-touch prettyboy full of hot air. He knows what he’s doing, why he’s doing it, and he very much has a stake in this fight.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:…Besides the obvious? Maybe to see even more people interact with him.

Favorite friendship for this character:All the Amis.

My crossover ship:I’m honestly surprised that Enjolras/Captain America or Enjolras/France (either Hetalia or SatW) aren’t more of a Thing.
