Ig adultify him? I don't like when the fandom paints him as a sexyman or sexualises him because he's a toddler in tuxedo to me. I think I've went on a big old tangent about this before. But on the flipside sometimes I worry I infantilise Edo a little? I'm not a very good writer '^^

I think ultimately his story hits a little hard for me and I'm overly attached LOL he's become a really big comfort character for me. I guess a minor gripe I have is I'd like to see more character analysis fics of Edo or just Edo centric fics in general. I sometimes binge the destinyshipping tag cause I've read like everything in the heroship tags and some of the fics in there are really good. It would be cool to see egoshipping more often.

I do! At the moment I've been listening to a mix of TheFatRat and Alen Walker to write my stories, but I often use various videogame soundtracks.

24. How do you choose whose POV to write in?

This one is difficult because I hop around POV a lot. It's a part of my writing style but it's mainly who the main point of interaction is.

36. What Fic are you proudest of?

Unravelling, definitely unravelling. I love it so much I'm so proud of how it's panning out. I could be excited about it all day.

I LOVE cowboy AUs, I just never like mentioning the USA specifically because I feel like it contradicts the fact that their ethnically japanese. So I do love western AUs but just instead their from some random town.

Something something AU based loosely on Touch-Tone Telephone by Lemon Demon.

It starts with Wilbur enter the Black and White and get approached by Wiggly, who offers him a chance to be his servant and shit.

Sounds pretty similar to the actual timeline so far, but there's one key difference here: Uncle Wiley never emerges from the portal again. Everyone just assumes he's dead, and though John is in denial at first, eventually he's forced to come to terms with it.

Fast forward to the present, say, 2023 or whatever. General MacNamara keeps getting weird spam calls of someone just ranting and raving. At first it's entirely incoherent, but as the days stretch on with the unknown number continuing to call him, they begin to become more and more clear. Turns out, this mystery person is rambling about eldritch gods and powers beyond mortal's comprehension. The voice sounds sickeningly familiar, but MacNamara tries to brush it off.

By now, he's definitely blocked the number multiple times, destroyed his phone, all that jazz, but by now any phone that John happens to be nearby immediately starts ringing, and when he answers it he's just met with that same person calling. So he tries to get some of his more tech savy agents to investigate it.

They manage to trace the calls to the IP address of Wilbur's own (now abandoned) apartment, and this basically confirms all of MacNamara's suspicions that not only his his old mentor still alive, but he's also pledged his allegiances to the very forces PEIP was fighting against.

Naturally, the General goes to confront the former Colonel and demand that he please stop calling him because it's getting kind of annoying. And he decides, mostly out of his own hubris, that he's going to do it alone.

But, when he enters the apartment, it's seemingly empty.

As John begins investigating, the phone on Wilbur's desk rings. He notes how though everything else is coated in dust, the phone isn't at all.

When he answers it, he's met not with the somewhat deranged ramblings he got used to, but with a firm, "Don't hang up yet."

Basically Wilbur begins reciting the bridge of the actual song but with some of the lyrics changed so it doesn't rhyme 'cause I'm unoriginal.

As he continues to do all that, John hears voices echoing Uncle Wiley's speech, the fluorescent lights beginning to glow a bright, sickening lime green, and the ground starts to shake.

At the climax of his spiel, the closet door flings open, revealing not only Wilbur standing there with a duplicate telephone but also the fiery eyes of Wiggog Y'Wrath. Yes, his closet got turned into a portal to the Black and White. Don't question it.

Now, Wilbur is flat out singing the actual song, with a chorus of sniggles acting as backup vocals.

They all attack John, Wilbur belting in his face, the sniggles cornering him, and Wiggly's tentacles slithering around his arms and legs.

The General gets dragged through the portal, and succumbs to madness too.

and ive already had plans for a potential series discussing completed novel length fanfics so it could be snazzy!!

most notably though sense its written work thatll help me to not go crazy ambitous with the anaylsis: i ussually just have SO many thoughts that its hard to write down, so im hoping that covering a written work instead of something with a visual element, will help my thoughts to be more manageable sense like, i dont have as many of those entire essays over itty bitty details stuck in my head sense i dont have as much of a grasp on the itty bitty details of the written word

like bassically, because im less savy with written work my brain wont go so absolutely primal artist instinct mode feral lmaofnsdjkalfhdsk

im having a hard time deciding where to start with the lines: at first i was gonna do a non anti-aliasing basic brush so itd be easy to color but i really wanted a bit more texture so im currently trying to get all the backgrounds lineart with that: in which ill than go along with the character animation and color whenever its most convenient too~
