Thing is, Claude likes birds and Sebastian likes cats.

Cats eat (kill) birds.

Birds eat spiders.

Cats not only eat birds in the sense of Sebastian being a bird, but also eat birds as in Claude’s garden / pet birds.

Birds eat spiders in the sense that Sebastian is a bird and Claude is a spider, I suppose foreshadowing Claude’s canon demise (but no one cares about that — it doesn’t let us have Seblaude so really it doesn’t exist, anymore. Claude dying is no longer in my vernacular).

Birds also eat spiders in the sense that Claude is a spider who likes birds, in the sense that Sebastian is a bird who likes cats.

Season two isn’t much — but at least we have this. This absolute mindfuck.

Do you mean by that he is going to lose to something he underestimated ? As in, he likes birds and treat them like pet and birds are technically just that, but he going to be overpowered by those weak things and thats ironic ? Representing losing to Sebastian physically but technically also losing to Alois who he underestimated and was just a weak cute thing he thought he had in control ?

Imagine just peeking into a room and seeing Claude and Sebastian dancing — one is completely blindfolded and talking for two (Sebastian) and the other is completely silent and letting the other lead (Claude), because Ciel had ordered Sebastian not to see Claude again, and Claude had been ordered to not talk to/ignore Sebastian the next time he saw him.

All they wanted to do again was dance.

Imagine Claude and Agni are talking — then, Sebastian perches himself on Claude’s lap and blocks him from Agni’s view, resuming the conversation in his own way, talking over/for Claude, and whenever Claude sighs or leans to the side as he’s had enough, trying to talk to Agni again, Sebastian immediately leans, too, and blocks him from view again.

I’m starting to think Claude’s favourite flowers are roses. Because like, he decorated the supper with Arnold Trancy and the priest with pink, de-thorned roses. He then uses white roses to form an allegiance / deal with Sebastian (perhaps these are required for the ritual they did, or perhaps they were the most nearby candidate), and he also requests red roses to be used to fill Alois’ room for the broken butterfly in the Spider OVA.

What can I say? I guess he just likes roses.

I mean, it’s a relatively similar height anyway, but I once googled “How tall is claude faustus” (for a headcanon list I once made, you know, because why else would you do such a thing?) and found this:

And whilst it isn’t the most credible source (so I do apologise in advance for wasting your time), in some frames that they are in together, Claude seems (moderately) taller?

Take this scene, for example (the scene that got me shipping them, “uwu” and all that jazz). You could argue that Sebastian was leaning or bent, slightly, but there is a gif that I would like to contrast their postures with the one above:

(Ugh, darling gif, why hath Tumblr eaten thy quality, so?)

Claude is more bent (double entendre? I think so /j). And even if my source is incorrect, I feel as though Claude is still taller, so I would like to use “6’3” as a steady estimate for his height.
