Lowkey, I think one of my favorite little things about Rescue Bots is how we get to learn a little more about Optimus when he shows up. Like, not war stuff or Orion Pax stuff, but just little things about Optimus.
One of his favorite Earth stories is The Little Engine That Could. Does he read in his spare time and if so, how did he find Little Engine?
He tells Heatwave that he has also been learning from humans. What has he learned? The phrase "Nothing much, double dutch." Who the fuck taught him that? My money's on Miko. Jack would not have the audacity to add that to Prime's vernacular.
He has a motherfuckin' rocket powered car carrier capable of hauling four bots. And since Team Prime had four four-wheelers on the team prior to Darkness Rising, you could reasonably assume that he has used it with Cliff, Bee, Bulk, and Ratch
Optimus knows what a pogo stick is. That isn't anything noteworthy, I just think it's funny.
So I've been trying to think about how Nimona (Comic Ver.) Would come back to Ballister and when and I think I came up with a cute idea.
First off I think it'd be way longer than movie Nimona, who took ~6mo to a yearish, as the Comic epilogue seems to have a similar time skip length and Nimona is notably not back yet. I typically ballpark it at like 5ish years. And since it is so long, I don't think she'd just pop up on his doorstep like "hey b0ss"
One idea is that she shows back up at the old lair where he no longer lives, and hangs around until he comes back to pay respects or something (similar to the movie) but I had another thought I like better
Ballister and Blitzmeyer get an application for a new lab assistant. She kinda sucks at her job but she does what she's supposed to do so they keep her around and she's kinda quirky and weird like they are. She reminds Ballister a bit of Nimona, but they aren't identical in personality.
She works at the lab for a year or so, during which time she learns about Ballister's life, about his relationship, his work, his friends, she learns whether or not he can be trusted again. And once she decides he can, the two are working late at the lab and he tells her to head on home while he cleans up, and instead of addressing him with "M'Lord" as usual, she smiles and says "Sure thing, Boss."
canvas: Does your OC have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? Do they display or cover them up at all? 😊

so many lol, they're my sparkledog oc, i just keep adding things to them 😂 they rly like body mods in an unconscious/unexamined bodily autonomy way, im thinking abt redesigning their tattoos since they've changed a lot as a character since i made them tho
Another silly Vault 666 comic, because every time I draw something with Lucifer in it his stupid baby face bugs me.
It drives him crazy in-universe too, though. He can’t grow facial hair to save his life (only patchy little wisps of almost-invisible blonde peach fuzz). He is 5'2″ and has a baby face and it is SO HARD to get people to take him seriously sometimes. He likes wearing his lab coat outside of his workshop because people still tend to associate “scientist” with “authority” and he will take whatever help he can get at this point.
Doesn’t help that most Wastelanders age like milk due to exposure to elements, poor nutrition, tons of environmental hazards, and radiation everywhere.
Text translation below cut:
Charlie: Bye guys, be good!
Lucifer: Have fun, girls!
Angel: Must’ve been tough, raisin’ Charlie.
Lucifer: Huh? ...Not really. The vault was safe, and Lilith was SUPER hands-on.
Angel: Well, yeah, but she’s in her 20s now, right? You must’ve been crazy young when she was born.
Tsuna: This is your fault. *points at the outflying a dragon stunt*
Reborn: I am so proud.
Skull; MY TURN NEXT
meanwhile…
Verde: You tried to upset the baby Sky my comrade adopted. Hmm I wonder how much cyanide a wizard can take?
Tsuna, pointing at Harry outflying a dragon: Your child
Reborn: As much as I would like to claim that as my influence I’m not the one that can fly
Tsuna, visibly panicked: My? Child?

Verde seeing Snape raise his voice at Harry one (1) time and seeing his Not Not Nephew flinch: Fortunately I have a comprehensive list of the exact experiment I would use to kill everyone I have ever met and yours is particularly painful.
Reasonable human brain: Look, you can keep telling yourself that the probability of Saxteen interaction is non-zero, but this statement also applies to a marmelade jar spontaneously materializing in your room. Do you really think no one would have spotted John Simm during the 60th shot?
Stupid clown brain that will continue holding its breath until BBC declares bankruptcy: OMG, so a zoom meeting in the convention of Staged?????
someday I want to write a Dreamling hanahaki fic. Since Hob is immortal obviously he can’t die from the disease, but it never really goes away. So he turns it to his advantage and sells bags of loose flower petals to wedding planners to use for decorations.
