The shapeshifty aspect I’ve decided is the result of the fuzz becoming less harmful and more of a dormant gene to whoever touches it. Grizz probably used the dna of most of the mammals to make that funky stuff, so lots of were-animal shenanigans are to ensue..

TAZ Paranatural AU! More under cut

Barry makes way too many vampire puns, which ironically makes Kravitz less inclined to think he's a monster, although it does annoy him.

Magnus is a werewolf and probably also a friend of the main group's; he and Barry cover for each other.

Merle is also here and he's in a vague Spender situation, except he also apparently doesn't believe in the supernatural. Yes, he's a whole entire spectral with healing & plant powers.

Merle's prosthetic arm is a tool possessed by the spirit Pan, who slowly makes the arm look wooden and treelike.

Merle is also possessed by a fragment of the Hunger, (a fragment containing John), a great evil spirit that he "defeated" by mistake. Now people and spirits come seeking his power, and he somehow turns a lot of their lives around.

Taako got teal spectral energy probably from unknowingly picking up a possessed object after Lup disappeared; something that gives him shapeshifty powers. Maybe a hat that's slowly becoming a wizard hat, although I didn't draw it here.

Lup's death happened when she was all alone somewhere in Refuge. Taako came in

(Also, Refuge is mostly just "Refuge" in name for now; I don't know if the time shenanigans are the same, but it might have something weird going on like being a fake/constructed town)

I don't know if the "Taako has to whack stuff" thing is actually true about the umbrella; maybe her unique situation allows Lup to help him by activating flame powers without connecting to him. This would, however, be observed by Barry and anyone else as Extremely Weird, because he's almost the opposite spectral energy color from the tool. Taako refuses to allow the umbrella to be taken and investigated, and it's probably circumstances out of his control that finally get it into Kravitz's hands.

Her name is nova and shes a little thing i made up thats a weird enderman shapeshifty thing

her pronouns are she/her :)

she really likes space :) (admin knows nothing about space but i think its interesting)

she loves crystals (not for spiritual reasons she just thinks they look cool)

also she loves hatsune miku (because thats the only vocaloid i know the name of LOL)

she has a pet named wiggle squiggle worm (who i will probably talk about later)

Im planning on making her character have somethung to do with boom boy @/boygoesboom but idk yet

i may ask mutuals about lore planning and stuff lol (for both the boom boy thing and probably other things)

shes like 7 feet and 11 inches tall because of the enderman shapeshifter thing

she loves ice skating but i probably wont talk about it much because idk the right terminology or whatever 👍

she has those fingers that are like black at her fingertips and it fades into her actual skin tone :] (but i couldnt do that in mgm2)

I did use monster girl maker 2 for her so she wont look exactly how i imagine her but yeag idk (the colours are a bit off because i took a picture of something on my tablet on my phone so please ignore that)

tbh my headcanon for good omens is they do like. whatever they want with sex. like they have angel powers and they’re gonna use them… like that might mean, switching, kinky shit, anal, piv, whatever they want, when they want. go crazy go wild. i agree with u tho, i feel like people just think piv sex is more ‘real’. and even in other fandoms they’ll headcanon characters as trans. also like. i almost never see transmasc porn where their partner DOESNT have a dick (whether a cis man or trans woman).

no yea see i understand that approach but it feels like just. a very bad reading of their characters to me? like. that kind of inherently implies they'd get bored of each other/being vanilla or that they'd want to change their bodies in any way which i think is just straight up not true like. they've spent 6000 yrs not even fucking and they'd still spend every second with each other if they could, it's not like they'd need like. variety when it comes to sex yknow. and also they like their human bodies as they are and they like their silly little human rituals i dont see why they'd ever get all shapeshifty for sex (insert that book quote abt *crowley's human man body being called his "favourite shape" to be* here). but like this is just my personal opinion, the stuff i was saying before was legit criticism of homophobia but this paragraph is going into subjective territory so whatev

(IK its closer to like version 15 at this point, but this is only the 2nd time ive posted ab his full info [ninjago ver] here so <3)

Fair warning for scars, mentions of mental illness and disorders, and the like <3 And oc x canon??? if ur fussy ab that??? idk

Casey first, bc he's my little man, my favourite scrunk.

Basic info includes: Casey Abel Tinniel 17 years old (averagely, does change w/lore and how i draw him) He/Him pronouns (feel free to use candy themed neos for him tho, kinda experimenting w/that) Trans-Masc, FTM. Half Oni, Half Human Canonically he has ADHD and BPD. (Feel free to hc him as autistic aswell idm, no other hcs tho pls lmAO, feel free to ask if he does XYZ in my askbox, but do not hc.) British/Japanese. He is 6'3 (tall man, love him, towers over so many), loves candy (any, even that chalky valentines candy stuff), he's left handed, constantly carries chapstick, and kinda needs glasses but rarely wears them (bc hes an arse). He has a dog!!! Leonberger/Great Pyrenees X called Mochi!!!! She's big and fluffyyy!!

He is an EM (Elemental Master), but like his element b kinda stupid but i love messing around with it. (Hes a fandom oc he wasnt made for realism nor to be canon SMH) And a ninja ofc bc what cringe baby's first ninjago oc (he wasnt my first im lying) isnt a ninja!!! Pink ninja go!!!

His element. is. Technology. and I do have basic mechanics written down for it, which i will paste from my notes rn: (Please ignore mentions of "Roni" i will get into that in another post if yall like him enough)

his machines don't need power (batteries, a plug, etc) he can power them himself with his element, but that's draining so he would still add another source of power, and because he already rarely uses his element he can only power small devices.

he's able to cut off power or turn off security systems. (Like just by touching control panels & stuff)

if he knows how to build smth (mechanical) he can just build it instantly, not needing to touch the materials (idk how to explain it? like he can float electronics but he cant hold them mid-air THEY HAVE to be added to Smth mechanical/technological)

is able to hack certain things without touching them, but mostly just does that to annoy Zane when he's younger (Lloyds command/prank) and rarely does it at all later on, leading him to barely be able to do it at alllll when it's needed (most of the time it isn't because of Jay, Nya and Zane having tech knowledge and jay being master of lighting).

Mostly he can just barely use it at all other than to control small devices/andriods because he's never needed to use it. (Up until Roni, which I'll not down stuff for later, might make it so that he's forced to make a few different Oni soldiers and then have his father mass produce them? Idk) probably will change a lot of stuff but these r just notes based on the few ways I thought of him using his element

His horns and tail r optional, as he's an oni obv smh (shapeshifty boy) I think thats all for him as a character?? He's just a happy silly boy (golden retriever to Lloyds golden cat fr i mean whaTT!!!???) Yeah. Biotech. Aka Lloyd Garmadon, himself, X Casey Abel Tinniel. They r my scrunks, my blorbs, and maybe even, my little guys. I dont have any updated art of them atm, but i promise u i will make some at some point ong!!!! They like to eat candies and stuff together & watch disney movies fr!!!! Casey likes to cook so he makes homemade mochis and stuff a lot n like ong<33333 way to lloyds heart is through candy and i will NOT hear otherwise!!!! My OC is a capricorn, the creature (the sea goat, specifically Terraria's shapeshifty humanoid interpretation, modified by a bunch of stuff I made up) and it's real hard to search for pictures of them because all the posts are about the astrology thing. (Not even astronomy -- I'd be cool with finding telescope pictures of the constellation or whatever.) I guess I could search "sea goat" but that's less cool. Anyway, I bet Eldridge has to deal with this too. "Oh, you're a capricorn because your birthday is in January?" -props hooves up on footrest- "Tell me more about that?" (Just kidding though, he'd never be that smooth.)

More dream stuff.

Tried to organize the drawings into a more orderly grid kind of arrangement to reduce the digital editing, cause I`m lazy. Also since I`m no longer using the fineliner I can make them smaller, fitting six sketches into an A4.

1) An animal really fucked up by selective breeding - it was supposed to be a cat.

2) A turtley something.

3-4) Fighting mushrooms.

5) Funny critter with one big weird foot.

6) Ostrich with muscular human arms for legs.

7) Ice-breathing worm monster, makes me think of Khezu from Monster Hunter.

8) Winged unicorn cat. Despite looking like a magical girl`s sidekick, she`s actually a high-ranking member of an interdimensional scientific organisation.

9) Some kind of shapeshifty body horror-y monster in the vein of The Thing, except it`s somehow both a particular monster and a more abstract "infection" at the same time. It comes from the deep sea and at least one of its incarnations was kiled by decompression like an abyssal fish.

10) People infected by the above didn`t get consumed or zombified like you`d expect, they just got the cool power of shooting plasma balls. Though they did eventually get deformed into... well, this, it did not deter them from fighting the monster in the slightest.

11) A videogame monster. It should be flashbanged by exploding specific crystal formations growing in its cave so that its crystalline arms and gross yellow back nodules can be destroyed.

12) A red-pink cartoon ape with a weird neck.

13) Another type of cartoon ape with a "hat" and "necktie" formed by its fur. These were like ape cops/detectives.

14-16) Increasingly fucked up giant moles with increasingly fucked up faces.

17-18) Just some alien guys.

I was doing some TNG fic research on Memory Alpha, and got this “related community” in the sidebar.

Which of course made me think of a bunch of them in a fighter tournament xD

What type of fighter would they be? How would they fare?

Data would be the most technical and precise striker type.

Odo would be like Dhalsim from Street Fighter, with the shapeshifty/stretchy powers.

Sisko and Riker would be the brawler type.

Beverly and Ezri would be the acrobatic/gymnast type.

Worf would use the bat’leth as part of his style.

Geordi and Miles would have some “trick” moves based on engineering-type stuff.
