I know nothing about the DmD trio other than from your blog... But you already know how in love with the Tinman I am XD I had to send an ask for my random few thoughts.

- please- indulge me for a moment. You know that ship dynamic of the gentle giant and the overprotective short stack? That's what I've been imagining with Tinny. Him getting an S/O who is smaller than him (though that wouldn't be hard, I guess XD), but I will absolutely throw hands on his behalf. If he could without hurting them, he could pick them up and set them aside before dealing with the danger himself. Because he'll fight for them too ^^ (Also made me think; If Scarcrow got a Tinman's second in command!S/O and Lion has a Scarecrows assistant!S/O, what if Tinny got a Lions best warriors!S/O? Assuming he has his own army. Or someone associated with Lion?)

- TINMAN FEELING SO GUILTY WHEN HE ACCIDENTALLY CUTS YOU AND APOLOGIZING SO PROFUSELY, EXPECTING YOU TO YELL AT HIM LIKE DOROTHY, ONLY FOR YOU TO ASSURE HIM THAT YOU KNEW HE DIDNT MEAN IT 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

- In general; Tinny knowing what it's like to be loved through you ^^ and just- realizing he's no longer in an abusive relationship the longer you two are together 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 you don't yell and insult him, you don't order anything from him, and you never expect him to commit terrible crimes for you. You just want your lovely tin man <3

- Imagine taking in interest in his crafting hobby and sitting with him, or even asking him to teach you! Even if you just want to enjoy his company and have no desire for metal bending, Tinny will be so so so happy and elated to have you here with him ^^

- KISSING TIN!!!!! Holding his cold, metal face delicately while rubbing a thumb along his cheek, maybe brushing against his sharp overbite, your guys' eyes filled with love for each other before you lean in and carefully press your lips against his needle like teeth and lips??? SIGN ME UP! 📃📃📃📃📃

- hm... Ngl I'm already wondering what a Yan!DmD!Tinny would be like... I have no self control 😅 of course you know his character more than me, but I like the idea that if he truly went full yandere mode, completely love struck with someone more hopelessly than with Dorothy, he would be more persistent in gaining their affections. It feels like with Dorothy that he'll try something with her, she'll hurt him, and he'll give her some space before trying again. And was slowly realizing that she didn't love him, before Glinda stepped in. But he still hasn't given up. Can you imagine how amplified that'd be if he were yandere?? Maybe even fully deluded that you'll love him instead of just listening to what others tell him? 🤔 what do you think? If you want to comment.

All I've got for now XD as you can see, in my mind, we're already married, live in a cottage in the woods, and are raising three robot children that we built togetger XD (omg this is another example of us falling in love with partner characters(?) Gentle Giant/Over Protective Short Stack: Yessss 🥺🥺🥺 Oh boy, does he need it. He needs someone who will CROSS the throne room the millisecond that Dorothy crosses the line and curse at her like a sailor like how DARE you!?- And that second part?? Tin picking his crazy small S/O up (Very carefully, with those fingers of his) and placing them somewhere to the side (Maybe into the arms of one of his tin soldiers- yes, he has entire army fully at his command. They're tin/biology hybrids frankensteined together by Scare) before Dealing with the situation himself. I can see it so clearly it is making my heart ache. Tin scooping you up, saying 'thank you, spring blossom (he'd use all sortsa cringy cute names like that genuinely XD ), but please, please let me handle this for you. The last thing we want is for you to be hurt', and carefully passing you off to another soldier he trusts. He carefully pushes some of your hair behind your ear, then turns back to the threat; straightens up to his f u l l building-like height, and takes care of shit. And the whole time, he wouldn't let even one piece of whoever he's Taking Care Of to hit you (The man is THOROUGH).

Tin Accidentally Hurting S/O:

He was on his knees, again. You told him a million times he doesn't need to do that, but the sweet, dramatic man just cant help himself. And honestly? You don't mind it, actually- You can kiss him and fluster him a lot easier this way. But this time?? This time he was on his knees profusely apologising. And you couldn't take it!! There was no need!! He just accidentally sliced you across the cheek with one of his fingers- he didn't mean to, and you both know it! You hear Dorothy give a snigger from her throne nearby, baring witness to this. You also see the Scarecrow drops his head backwards and sigh heavily at the display- but you don't care about Tin's so-called friends. You care about Tin. You take Tin's big metal head in your hands. " -so sorry. I don't know what came over me, I can do better. I would never, ever fetter your perfect skin on purpose- " "I know, I know." Instead of insisting he don't be silly and he cant help it sometimes!!, which is what you want to do!, you focus on calming him. Because everyone is watching, and he's probably mortified. You just want him to be okay. "Please Tin, its fine. Everyone knows you wouldn't hurt me on purpose." There's a hint of panic in his voice when he speaks next, a little quieter; following your lead and acting as if its just you two, here. Just him, and you. Safe. "Someone might think they could care for you better then me." "Doesn't matter." You whisper. "I know, they couldn't."

Having a Healthy Relationship with Tin: My heart <3 Yes! I can see him struggling with that- even before Dorothy went bad he was willing to give her anything. But imagine any time he offers you something, you're like 'oh that sounds nice! good idea Tin! lets do it together ^^' and leading him off before he can protest. And he s l o w l y starts to feel so so comfortable with you <3<3

Cupping his large face and stroking his cheeks, leaving feather-light kisses all over his smooth metal cheeks and underbite, gently scraping your nails down his chest or any other smooth part of him and he SHUDDERS (I don't know how physical feeling works for him, especially since Scare was able to pop open his chest and enhance his heart without Tin feeling a thing but when Amy sliced it open it hurt him, but I don't care. Yandere Tin Woodman!!!!!: Oooooookay. I'm struggling to gather my thoughts here XD To an extent, I think Woody is actually already kindof Yandere XD I mean, before Dorothy even shows her 'true colours' herself, he's doing some not-so-above-board things for her. Like forcing his people (The Winky's) to walk for days non stop to the Emerald palace to be her army. And then, when she seems displeased, letting Scarecrow do what he wants with them (He's shocked when he finds out WHAT Scare did with them, which was Frankenstein them of course (which killed a good portion of them before he got the procedure Right), but he was miraculously easy to convince that it was a good idea when Scare and Glinda said Dorothy would like it). As well as letting Scarecrow adjust Tin's own heart with magic For Dorothy. So... yeah, to an extent, Tin is already obsessed with getting her to like him. But if he was All The Way Yandere like you're thinking... oh boy.

There would be no getting away. Remember how he's got a whole army at his disposal?? And d u n g e o n s??? 👀 Yeah. He'd be like 'I know you don't love me yet, and it is painful my sunlit dandelion, but you will eventually. You'll fall for me, eventually'.

Church of the bat. Chapter 1, part 2.

(Marceline has Jake chop some trees.)

Simon: You probably already knew this, but your followers can't survive on prayer alone, they must eat too.

Marceline: Alright, I'll feed Jake some potatoes since we got plenty of those.

(Marceline harvest some potatoes and cooked them for Jake to eat.)

Simon: While Jake is eating his meal, you should get more resources and followers in the Fearsome farmlands.

(Marceline walks into a gateway outside the refuge that links to all four bishop realms.)

Marceline: So why should I go to the Fearsome farmlands first?

Simon: Because it only requires you to have one follower to open the door.

Marceline: Well I guess that makes since.

(Marceline has Jake help open the door and she enters Fool's domain, it's an almost barren field with weat and potatoes being the few things that grow there, Fearsome farmlands also had farm wreckage as far as the eye could see.)

Marceline: Okay, I got this.

(Marceline fights through a field full of mutant farmers, sentient scarcrows, angry corn monsters, and even some generic cultists to get more resources, she stumbled across Fool, Moon, and Empress.

Fool: (What's this, the bat from earlier is now standing before us wearing the red crown.)

Moon: The little bat shall die like bug, squish, squish, squish!!!

Empress: Moon, you're clearly too unstable to deal with her right now.

Fool: Don't worry, I'll take care of this bat.

Empress: You better...

(The three disappear and Marceline makes it to the first mini boss, a possessed tractor.)

Tractor: Praise the rooster!!!

(The tractor tries to run Marceline over, but Marceline was able to defeat it with ease and the tractor turned into a little cow.)

Cow: Please spare me...

(Marceline spares the cow and invites her to the refuge, said cow decides to mine stone as thanks to having her life spared.)

Simon: You seem to be getting the hang of this, now the followers can also worship, I've already made a statue of King for them to worship at, now we just need a follower.

(That's when Simon summoned a little cat named Memow to worship at the statue, and the devotion gave them the ability to make a church to host sermons.)

Simon: Now let's do a sermon.

(Marceline does her fist sermon and gains extra health for every crusade.)

Trace and Tim knew how to be alone together. A skill ingrained into them since they were both young. Don't cause trouble for the neighbors-they were at least 3 mile away, how could they cause trouble for them-and take care of things yourself.

Perhaps that's why the two started going out into the dark alleys of Gotham at night because they could take care of themselves their parents said so. That and Tim's incessant need to photograph the city at night. So it came as no surprise to Trace that when their twin had the chance to snap pictures of his heros in action, he took it. Quickly changing their outings from a peaceful stroll, although peaceful would be stretching it, to a mad dash during the night to keep up with the vigilantes. So when Tim began to carry a bad full of his camera essentials, Trace stuffed hers with snacks, water, and what medical supplies she could grab.

Scrapes and brushes were more common when jumping roofs it appears.

The natural evolution of their night time events lead them to the top of a rooftop watching Batman and Robin fight with the Scarcrow one night, The twins dark clothes helping them blend in with the night. "I am one with the night." Trace whispered to themself and Tim, trying to deepen the voice to match the growl of Batmans voice, their face taking on a serious expression.

An expression that broke into a smile and their brothers laugh. They continued to watch the fight in comfortable silence, the camera shutter being the only noise beside the fight. They watched as Robin jumped at the Scarecrow from above, doing an intimate flip, and knocking him cold out on the ground. Trace gave a small silent applause at their victory, and looked at Tim. His eyes wide as he stared at Robin.

"Tim? Tim, you okay?" They waved a hand in front of his face snapping him out of his daze.

"I know who Robin is." His voice small, a bit of awe painting it. He thumbed through the pictures on his camera quickly before shoving it in Traces face. "Look!" His voice going as high as he dared. "The flip he did at the end," and he shows Trace the sequence of photos Tim took of the flip, "It's the quadruple backflip, a flip that only one person can do!" His eyes shown with excitement.

"You gonna tell me who?" Trace said after letting the words sink in for a bit.

"Richard Grayson! Robin is Richard Grayson, which means," he paused for a little dramatic effect allowing Trace to beat him to it.

"Bruce Wayne is Batman." They said, almost reverently. "Batman is our neighbor!" They continued whisper shouting the last sentence.

And there on the rooftop, two children share a secret they were never supposed to be privy to.

What's Lorna's deal? Is she superhuman, does she have abilities? She's definitely not stable so what's her backstory?

Lorna Lovestrange was prone to violent fits of rage from a young age. After a particular incident, she was committed to Arkham by her parents, where she would go on to meet Dr. Jonathan Crane.

While there, she was exposed to the fear toxin he'd been developing, and as a result, she grew a resistance to it. When she was eventually released with a clear bill of health (debatable, given that her psychiatrist at the time was Harleen Quinzell), she was hunted down by Thomas Elliot (Hush) and the Scarecrow.

Tommy had developed an obsession with Lorna during his own time in Arkham, as she had been close friend of Bruce Wayne's while they'd been at school together, and Thomas — jealous of Wayne, even in childhood — perceived her as the one thing of Bruce's he could earn rather than take. Scarecrow, on the other hand, viewed Lorna as his possession rather than patient, and wished to have her by his side.

During her comic book run — subtitled as For Whom The Bells Toll — Lorna was kidnapped by Elliot and forced to wed him. Upon their wedding night, she received an overdose of Scarcrow's fear toxin which triggered her Cannonade persona to fully take over, resulting in the massacre of her own family and all the wedding guests in attendance; barring Hush and Scarecrow. Leaving the Elliot Estate in ashes, Lorna joined the military in an attempt to discipline Cannonade.

The overdose of the toxin left Lorna with the inability to experience fear, fundamentally altering her brain chemistry beyond repair. This made her reckless and an eventual liability, and the military — which had once weaponised this newfound gift — turned her over to Amanda Waller.

She'd briefly crossed paths with Rick Flag prior to her stint in the Suicide Squad.

Through the many film iterations of Batman, key details of Lorna's story changes to suit the narrative, although her fearlessness and a past connection to Bruce Wayne always remain.

soooo a trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 dropped-

While I’m mostly a twdg blog, I like to dip my toes in the Telltale pool and talk about other games and I mean, c’mon I can’t NOT talk about this trailer okay. How long have we waited for a sequel twau? Only for them to announce it, but then for Telltale to bite the dust? Now new Telltale is gonna give it to us and the trailer looks super good?? 

Also I still need to get the bad taste of the Clementine Book One trailer outta my mouth sooo.... here we are, I’m gonna go through this and give some thoughts.

Unknown: “You’re listed here as a private investigator. What does that sort of work entail?”

Bigby: “Depends on the night.”

Bigby: “Most nights it’s watching, waiting for a slip up. I don’t know, someone gets greedy. Someone gets brave.  ”

Okay! First of all, Adam Harrington is reprising his role as Bigby which thank god. He brought a lot of charm to Bigby in the first season and I can’t imagine anyone else giving a voice to this world’s big bad wolf. 

Also the aesthetic... A big draw about the first game was the neon but noir aesthetic. It felt very graphic novel, very detective true crime, y’know? Which yeah, that’s what the game was and Telltale nailed it. 

Unknown: “And that’s what you were doing the night of the incident?” Bigby: “Yeah. Took me weeks to track them down.”

AHHHHHHHHH LOOK AT HIM LOOK AT THAT DAMN SMIRK

Okay but the jacket. 

Bigby and Louis share the same taste in jackets I can’t-

Bigby: “They hadn’t cast so much as a shadow.... ‘til that night.”

God, the colors and the shadows... the way Bigby breaks the chain and his silhouette... we’re only 45 seconds in and this trailer has my heart. 

Unknown: “You’ve been hesitant to share with us... I assume it has something to do with confidentiality associated with the job.”

OKAY YES... in case you can’t tell yet, we’ve got the goddamn Tin Man and Scarecrow, and maybe Dorothy [though I’m unsure, it could easily be another woman from another fable] but the Tin Man was the cloaked figure running through the rain and fucking Scarcrow is hitting a bong..... I CAN’T

And just when you don’t think it could get better.... it’s revealed that Bigby is in a therapy circle as he recounts this night. 

Bigby: “......Something like that.”

I’m assuming this is perhaps an anger management therapy group? going off what the lady leading the group says later. I love this idea.

Honestly, after all the bullshit Bigby went through in the first game, I like seeing him somewhere where he can open up a little bit.... it’s just a shame that it’s not a fable group so he’s gotta hide the fun details. 

I just wonder if this particular case is what got him sent here, y’know? Like did Snow send him here because things went wrong and she’s tired of his approach to things now that she’s the boss lady? Or was he sent here prior to this case? 

Unknown: “Your boss, Miss White, said things didn’t go as planned. She mentioned that there was some violence.”

This fight though.... God, let this be one of the first fights we get to experience. Let this whole thing be the opening to the game. I’m already asking so many questions: what the hell did Tin Man and Scarecrow do? What shady business is Scarecrow into that made Bigby only arrest him? Why aren’t they glamoured? IS that Dorothy on the couch? Or someone else?? If we’re dealing with characters from Oz, does that mean Buffkin is coming back?? 

Don’t get me wrong, the opening of the first game was compelling with getting the call from Toad to take care of Woody and meet Faith..... but c’mon, look at this fight!

Also, can I just say that Scarecrow’s teeth freak me the hell out??

Oh and uhhh..... where is the Cowardly Lion?

I don’t know for sure who she is, maybe she IS Dorothy given the braids she wearing and obviously she’s hanging with Tin Man and Scarecrow, but the lady chilling on the couch with the grin? I already love her. She doesn’t give a single fuck that Scarecrow is running around on fire or that Tin Man just threw Bigby through the wall. If anything, she’s amused by they whole thing and loving the sight of the big bad wolf.

Tell me more about her. What’s her involvement? I need to know.

I’m trying to tone down my excitement but like.... I adore this trailer and I have all of my fingers and toes crossed that the actual game is good. It’s set to come out next year, it’s still gonna be in episodes, Bigby is in therapy, Wizard of Oz characters are in it, Snow is coming back and hopefully I like her more this time around than I did in the first game.....

The music here is great, too. Just... everything is good. I can’t tell if I’m overwhelmed with how good this is because the Clementine trailer broke something inside of me but who cares! I’m excited to play this when it comes out!

Lost in Space 3x08 last ep😭

The Roberisons are always right and the black and brown people in charge are always wrong🙄 the theme that never ends

I knew John and Grant for get to talk for 2 seconds. I have 40 minutes left in the episode but I really don't think much time if left for what I want out Grant & Judy's relationship and Grant and John getting to talk. The flashing lights killed my eyes in their scene.

The kid's driver pulled a Jurassic Park and left those kids to die🤭 The season started off with the kids in the Great Valley and now this. The second theme is dinosaurs 😂

How many times does Will have to keep sacrificing himself this season? I'm getting tired of it.

I knew the Alien Robots blew that planet up!

The whole Sally & group of Robots becoming human shaped and choicing to fight for the humans happened SO FAST!

I gotta admit I know it was sold as free will but every one changing to human shape did feel like they got new masters and I can see why SAR would be threatened. I mean they looked brainwashed not keeping their own shape & face color. But I get it was done for the easy visual of good guys vs bad guys fighting on the feild.

Penny can sense Sally now like Will and Robot?

This last episode is really showing how much they rushed things. Thanks Netflix you suck

So the Robot took over the body of SAR? Who didn't want be to command by masters? The worst fate for him right. Well SAR did take over Robot and Scarcrow's bodies so I can't feel too sorry for him.

Smith ending up in jail is were she belongs. I'm glad her ending is taking accountability her actions. Well as best as we can get with the little time we had left. Her poor sister gets to come. Yay!

Dust for Judy & Don ship😭

Glad the family is together. Judy has two dads now. YAY!

Penny has her writing career and she eatting those cookies. Yay!

They even are making a new ship to save humanity. Correct that mistake of dooming Earth in s2.

Will is exploring with his bestie. Wish that he'd wait till he was 18. They were just apart for a whole year. But I get it limited time to show a everyone's happy ending.

It's good ending with one season to tie loose ends. Too many 'going die' fake outs. But comes with the territory I guess.

Great acting by everyone. Loved the family dinner as final note

So like, each Maiden has a core theme to them, right?

Winter is clearest, it's human connection. Ironwood tried to pervert the Maiden process by starving the Maiden of human contacts, but she makes an instant connection to the next girl she sees. The original Winter Maiden sat in comfortable silence with the Wizard, sharing a space and connection despite not interacting. And Penny has always been about making friends and finding human connection with others.

And Spring is all about new life and rebirth. The Spring Maiden fixes up the rundown garden of the wizard, sows new crops and brings them to life. Raven perverts this by gaining her powers through ending a life, and her lifestyle being one of banditry: not making anything herself, but taking what others have, and bringing death and destruction in her wake.

It looks like she'll be succeeded by Yang, her one act of creation and life in this world, and Yang is all about nurturing and healing and rebirth.

(There's also a theme of Knowledge at play. Raven seeks the Relic of Knowledge to give her an advantage, but Yang takes on the Knowledge because she knows that it comes with responsibility, which Raven is trying to use Knowledge to avoid. And while Yang has always been smarter than people give her credit for, Yang's arc has never been about growing stronger, but being smarter about what strength she has.)

And the Fall Maiden, well that's all about choice and giving and recognizing the good things you already have. The Fall Maiden is heralded by a feast for the Wizard and talks about doing good things for no other reason that they can, making the choice to be good people. And she points out all the good things the Wizard has in his life. Cinder perverts this by talking about hunger, and starvation, and making bad choices because that's what's been taught to her by the world. She doesn't believe in choice, she believes in Destiny. And she's not content with the power she has, instead seeking more and more.

So, if the pattern continues, the current Summer Maiden will likely be a perversion of the original Summer Maiden's ideal. She's the one who convinced the Wizard to come out of isolation, to have fun, to be happy.

So the current Summer Maiden will likely be serious and isolationist, "I do things alone" sort of person, or perhaps even in hiding to keep away from Salem. And either they change to become braver and more willing to have fun, or their successor is someone who's focused on bravery and being outgoing.

It kinda hit me as I was writing this that the four Maidens we'll end the series with also fit the Oz theme. We have a Maiden all about human connection, about having a heart, who's even a Tin Girl to boot. A Maiden who's all about being smarter, even if she's smart to begin with, with hair the colour of straw. A Maiden all about bravery and going out of your comfort zone, a woman with the heart of a Lion. And a Maiden all about recognizing what you already have, right under your nose (and on your feet).

Can you fight?

I have binge watched the entire second season of Umbrella Academy now....I have to say I am in love with Allison. And her power. So I have decided to do a fic for you all, just a one shot.

Jason Todd/Red Hood, Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Bruce Wayne/Batman x reader

Reader is best friends with Dick, dating Jason and an alliance of Bruce. This is in a fight between Gotham villains. Reader has the 'rumor' power from TUA.

It was a typical Gotham night, wet and cold. With a hint of humidity. The batfam hadn't seen your power, as you preferred to use it only when you absolutely had to. And tonight, you would have to.

Penguin and Riddler had Nightwing, Joker and Harley had Red Hood. Two Face, Scarecrow and Mr Freeze had cornered Batman. Which left you with Poison Ivy.

Ivy wasn't much of a fighter, but you weren't much of a push over. Ivy tried to seduce you with her chemicals. As she altered it so it would now work on women too. You were under her spell.

'I hear you can control man to do anything with a simple phrase' Ivy rolled out, she always sounded so sexy. One thing you liked about her.

'I can' you answered, 'but I prefer not too' you finished.

'The boys are in trouble y/n, and I have you here. Under my spell. You can get them back, if you want to' Ivy said.

'How?' You asked intrigued, Ivy laughed a little.

'Use your power'

The three men were doing the best they could, but they weren't getting very far. Batman managed to knock out Two Face, but Scarecrow got him with fear toxin. A split second Batman wasn't looking, it was done.

You walked in, Scarecrow looked at you and laughed.

'You're too late, he's mine now' Scarecrow said as Mr Freeze started walking towards you. You looked at Mr Freeze.

'I heard a rumour' you said, Freeze stopped and looked at you.

'What was that?' He asked, you leaned as to whisper to him.

'I heard a rumour, you froze scarcrow upto his shoulders', just like that Mr Freezes eyes turned white and he turned to shoot his freeze gun at Scarecrow, freezing him upto his shoulders as you said.

'Freeze' Scarecrow shouted, stiffened in the ice.

'Now release Batman' you said to Freeze as he untied him. He wouldn't be under your control for long so you had to work quickly. Batman was untied and at your feet crouched and scared from the toxin. You then put one of his arms over your shoulder and walked him outside, laying him down on the backseat of the car.

'Just wait here B, gonna go get the others' you said as you shut the back door and rushed to get Jason and Dick.

Dick was closest, he was being held by Penguin and Riddler. Both of them would be easy to control. But only one could be controlled, unless you tried to control both of them. But Penguin is quick for a little guy, he also has a gun. Riddler is also very smart, he would clock on easy. However, neither of them have seen your power...nor do they probably even know about it.

'You guys are wasting your time, I can go all night' Dick said as Riddler zapped him with a taser.

'You shit' Penguin spat out at Dick, 'I have no idea why, but I just hate you the most. Pretty boy' Penguin continued.

'Riddle me this Nightwing, what's black and blue. And also has...' Riddler was interrupted by the warehouse door slamming open.

'Back up' you said to both the villains. They looked at you and laughed.

'A woman, trying to be the hero' Penguin chuckled,

'You're no Catwoman or Black Canary miss' Riddler said.

'True' you replied bluntly, smiling as you walked over to Penguin, 'I heard a rumour that you shot your friend in the foot'.

Penguin's eyes turned white as he stood straight and turned around to face Riddler,

'Oswald, what are you doing?' Riddler shouted out as Penguin shot him in the foot. You untied Dick and the two of you ran outside.

'Bloody hell' Penguin shouted as he fired shots at you and Dick.

'Why did you do that?' Riddler asked Penguin, Penguin just looked at him.

'She told me to'.

...

'Are you OK?' You asked Dick as you got to an alley.

'Yeah, are you?' Dick asked as he hugged you, you nodded.

'Bruce is in the car round the corner, here are the keys. Get him to Alfred, get the cure for Scarecrows toxins. I need to get Jason', Dick puts his hand on your shoulder.

'You can't do this alone' he says with concern,

'I can handle it. I'm not losing Jason again' you say as you run to where Jason is.

...

'Once upon a time, there was a little Robin. This Robin was unlike any other you've seen, he was pretty, careless and easy to take down. This Robin then came back from the dead' Joker chuckled as he hit Jason with a crowbar.

Harley Quinn sat in the corner laughing as she turned around to see you walking into the room. Anger in your eyes, rage on your face.

'Hi deary, miss me?' Harley called out as she picked up her bat.

'Not tonight Harley' you replied through gritted teeth.

'Have you no heart?' She replied as she ran towards you, putting you in a headlock.

'Robin has a little Sparrow' Joker said,

'Don't touch her' Jason shouted out to Joker, Joker just laughed. That maniac laugh that haunts Jason's nightmares.

'I'll leave that to Harley, do tell me girl. Can you fight?' Joker added. You huffed a little as Harley's grip got tighter.

Jason wiggled out of his binds and wrestled Joker to the floor, as you grabbed on Harley's arm and threw her over your shoulder. You jumped up and grabbed the beam above you, wrapping your legs around Harley's neck, choking her.

Joker laughed as Jason punched him repeatedly, however, Joker managed to over power Jason and start to choke him. Standing up behind Jason while Jason was on his knees.

You kicked Harley in the face and let go, dropping down and handing Harley an axe.

'I heard a rumour you killed the Joker' you said with darkness in your voice. Harley's eyes went white as she smiled and walked over to Joker. Hitting him in the back with the axe. His grip on Jason loosened and Jason crawled away. Standing up to watch.

'Harley, stop' Joker cried out as he bled, Harley stopped for a second.

'Sorry Mr J' she said with sadness in her tone, she swung the axe several times and killed the Joker.

'No' she cried after she finished, Jason then hit Harley over the head and knocked her out.

'I can't believe you did it, y/n' Jason looked at you, 'you used your power'.

'I had to on Freeze and Penguin too. Otherwise Bruce and Dick would be dead right now' you responded. Jason hugged you tight, giving you a deep kiss.

'They know about your power now. They'll be looking for you' Jason said.

'Let them' you replied, you took Jason's hand as the two of you walked out onto the street together.

It was true, they all knew about you now as you showed them your power. But one person was watching the whole thing. Watching you. Coming for you.

I think I've sent similar before but in reading your take on why "it made sense" for the ace ops to lose to rwby it makes me laugh thinking of how to the fandom the basis for characters is always there when it suits them (ace ops/ironwood) but not when it doesn't. By that logic rwby should be getting easily tricked by wolf grimm after they eat people/her grandma

Yeah, that’s my problem with analyzing the show through its fairy tale lens. There’s no doubt that some aspects have influenced RT’s decisions, but the existence of those details doesn’t mean we have a solid foundation for making larger claims about the future of RWBY or, retroactively, the persuasiveness of certain plot points. If someone goes, “Of course it makes sense that Ironwood is heartless now. He’s the Tinman” the easy pushback to that is, “So then why is our Cinderella a villain? Why do we have two Dorthy-esque characters? Is Qrow supposed to be the Scarcrow or Huginn/Muninn? Funny that Nora is no longer a god. Does this mean though that she’ll inevitably die by poison?” These characters were inspirations for RT, not blueprints, and thus we can’t rely on them for justification. For every “Ironwood’s personality must be heartless” there’s another “But Weiss’ personality isn’t very Snow White-ish?”; for every “Emerald has to get the lamp because she’s Aladdin. Penny will be swallowed by the whale because she’s Pinocchio, etc.” there’s a “Then why did Clover die bloody at the hands of the scorpion and the scarcrow/Norse crow instead of going home happily with his version of a fish? If the scorpion’s story is all about killing someone who trusted you why didn’t he attack Qrow?” The parallels only go as far as you want to take them. AKA, fans can use them to support everything they want to prove and ignore everything else. 

More importantly, this sort of work ignores that RWBY is its own story, not a retelling of these tales. If RWBY were to follow its inspirations with enough reliability for us to accurately predict/justify what has happened, then it wouldn’t be anything new. It also, frankly, wouldn’t be possible because there’s no version of these tales where Little Red Riding Hood teams up with both the Beauty and the Beast in a single body to take out the Wicked Witch of the West who is also the girl in the tower who is also a reference to the real life Salem witch trails. That story doesn’t exist for RWBY to adapt. Rather, RWBY mixes fairy tales of different cultures, then mixes them with historical figures. It plays references straight as much as it subverts them. Inspiration will carry the plot along in some places and be completely abandoned in others. Ozpin might rise and fall like his film counterpart, but is Yang out there breaking social norms to find food and a place to sleep? For any, “It makes sense because of the inspiration!” we can find three examples where it doesn’t make sense at all. RT is picking and choosing, which means that fans are likewise picking and choosing to support whatever interpretation they like the best. RWBY is its own unique, messy thing and though that means we can acknowledge the parallels and the influence they may have had (I do!), we can’t rely on them as a hard and fast justification. Any argument that relies solely on, “This happened because in the original...” isn’t reliable.

your houki ideas are so adorable

Houki himself is a huge adorable mess and i love him. I love the thought of him holding tiny baby pug close to his chest and being super protective of her even though he knows she can bite a persons hand off.

Houki carrying his new summon home in his hair and smiling brightly up at his parebts as he introduces them, laughing when they ask when and how exactly he got a summon XD

Houki training with metal and their summons all day until both boys finally collapse on the ground, tired. His heart skipping a beat when he feels someone picking him up and opens his eyes just enough to see lord sixth lifting him up onto his back. Holding on tight because he's slowly starting to realize that lord sixth is so much more amazing than he ever thought (no metal, you can't convince me he's a dork) and he's so lucky that his summon choice him and it came with so many interactions and training opportunities with his hero.

Houki making a small jacket for his summon, but not knowing how to put the symbol on it because he wants her to look like her dad. Smiling when he shows kakashi and kakashi tells him they'll go to a store, but he has a better idea for a symbol. Getting the jacket back and trying his best jot to cry because Kakashi got houki's name engraved on the jacket. When he asks why kakashi explains that the symbol on his summons jackets is a joke gai made that says 'scarcrow' because of what kakashi's name means. Since it's basiclly kakashi's name on his dogs jackets, he thinks its more appropriate for houki's name to be on the jacket made for his summon (and she loves it. She refuses to take it off no matter what once houki gives it to her and pakkun is trying really hard not to call it cute)

15 minutes of how I'd Batman a Batman Movie. (Please excuse the "Knight Wing/night wing. I typed this on my phone. .... Whaaaatever.

Batman Movie Batman (V.O.): be it naivety or ignorance... Once innocence is lost... It rarely can be recaptured. -> Open with 50's "all American" propaganda style'd dinner featuring Martha and Thomas Wayne. They smile. The camera spins around to show a young Bruce Wayne eating dinner. The camera spins around to show Martha and Thomas now ghostly. The background looks slightly dilapidated. The camera continues to spin around showing young Bruce's reaction to his ghostly parents. The camera spins around back to Bruce's parents Parents: Bruuuuuuuce... The camera spins back to reveal young Bruce who is full of fear, tied to his chair. That background is misery. Lightening flashes and we see Batman sitting where Young Bruce was. The camera spins back to where Bruce's parents. Blood pours from their mouths Parents: You killed us Bruce... The camera spins back to Batman. Batman: NOOO!!!! The camera spins back to Bruce's parents. Lightening flashes replacing Bruce's parents with the Joker and Harley. They laugh... The Joker pulls a gun on Batman... Joker: Whattsa' matter Baaaatman? Can't handle a little forshadowing? The Batman struggles more and more in his chair. The Joker pulls the trigger. With the gun still pointed at Batman, Harley's chest explodes like a shotgun has hit her. She flops over. The Joker pulls the trigger again, still pointing the gun at Batman. The Joker's chest explodes. He flops over... Batman: NOOOOOOOO!!!! Int. - Scarecrow's Hideout Oracle's voice accompanies Batman waking up on the ground Oracle: Bruce?! BRUCE?!? BATMAN?! ANSWER ME BATMAN!? Batman: I'm fine. Oracle: Bruce! Thank God! You're alive. Batman: How long was I out? Oracle: Two hours. He filled the room -- Batman: I don't care what he did. I want to know what's he doing? A thug slowly wakes up to see Batman. Batman looks at him. The Thug gestures, "Im good." And he lays his head back down. Batman: Oracle where is he? Oracle: I could hear him speak when you were unconscious. I sent Night Wing to follow him to Gotham Airport. Batman: Why did you bring him into this?! Oracle: I thought you were dead. Batman: Im never dead. I'm Batman. Int. - Gotham Airport A brown scuffed leather shoe steps on to a clean marble step. A woman falls behind the feet. Trapped in her own head, she's overcome with fear... Scarcrow: Hurry up... Hurry up... We need these planes on time so no one interferes. Tic'toc, tic'toc! The room is littered with people, on the floor convulsing with fear. Scarecrow looks at a map of the world... Scarecrow: So many minds... Soon filled to the Brim with fear... He watches a plane take off... He laughs. Scarecrow: That's three!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! From the shadows. Knight Wing: How about a dose of your own medicine? Scarecrow: Batman?! Knight Wing: Guess again! Pouncing from the shadows, Knight Wing knocks Scarecrow to the ground. He pulls out two kendo sticks with taser attached to the ends. Two thugs rush towards night wing. He incapacitated them quickly. Knight Wing: I'm not here to look pretty. I just need to knock everyone out. So... Who's next? 12 guys rush Knight Wing quickly he takes them out. Unmasking a tied up Scarecrow runs towards an open window in the radio tower jumping on to his hover-bike. Batman: Dick, stand down I have this. Knight Wing: Sure thing Bruce, I'm gonna have to let you go, I have a flight to catch. You might want to catch one of the other two... Barreling towards the plane... The speed almost rips Knight Wing apart--if he were a regular man. Locking himself onto the side of the plane... He blasts a hole into the side of the plane. Chairs and Scarecrows's goons get sucked out of the plane... Outside of the cockpit, two goons look at a security video of Knight Wing using a laser to pierce the metal locked door. Goon 1: It's knight wing! Goon 2: more like knight... Not... Wing. Goon 1: that makes no sense. He's gonna kick our-- The door blasts open getting sucked out of the plane's exposed side. Both the goons get sucked out. Knight Wing: I was really looking forward to kicking their ass... Knight Wing grabs the controls and proceeds to land the plane on a highway. It's messy. Knight Wing:... Okay. Two more to go. Huh. Int. The second plane. - The goons inside are calm and evil. It's quiet... Flying over the plane and out in front of the plane is Batman's new Batplane. It's sleek. It's fast and it can take a pounding. It pulls ahead of the plane and shoots a toe-cable to the front of rogue aircraft. It pulls the plane of the ocean. The Batplane flies through jumbo jet cutting it in half. It explodes. Oracle: Bruce... The last plane has made it to Costal City.... There are hundreds dead... The gas is spreading. Int. - Gotham Airport. Batman swoops in at the feet of an unmasked Scarecrow. Scarecrow: I watched... I saw... You must be mad. Batman picks him up off the ground holding him in the air... On TV monitors we see Superman and the Flash cleaning up one of Batman's problems that spilled out on to the rest of America. Scarecrow: Are you going to punch your way back in time?? (Will finish script when I'm paid to.)

(Fool enters Fearsome farmlands to find two scarecrow hearts.)

Fool: Alright, where are the scarecrows?

(Fool searches high and low to find any scarecrows, he eventually comes across his old cultists.)

Pig cultist: Hey guys, Bishop Fool is back!

Other cultists: Hooray!!!

Goose cultist: What brings you here, Fool?

Fool: I'm here to get two scarecrow hearts.

Goose cultist: What for?

Fool: I need them for a mass resurrection ritual to revive the bat species.

Donkey cultist: Why do you want to revive the bats?

Fool: Because I realized the the bats didn't deserve to die.

(He can't let them know that he became one of Marceline's followers, he does actually think the bats didn't deserve to die too.)

Donkey cultist: Fair enough, it think the scarecrows are over by the haunted barn.

Fool: Okay, thanks for the tip.

Donkey cultist: You're welcome.

(Fool heads to the haunted barn and came across two faint carnivorous scarecrows, they tried to eat him but he wasn't gonna go down, he used a sword to slice open the male scarcrow's chest to take his heart, the female scarecrow put him in her mouth but he threw a grenade down her throat before she could swallow him, the scarecrow blew up and Fool took the heart from her remains.)

Fool: Now to go back to the village.

(Fool enters the village and goes into the temple where Leo and Marceline were.)

Fool: Here are the scarecrow hearts.

Marceline: Thank you.

(Marceline puts the scarecrow hearts into the cauldron.)
