Its more likely than you think. Linda Monroe also being absolutely horrible to Becky Barnes? Yep Linda Monroe is a Lesbian and Homophobic. Shes also a Cult leader and a Karen shes got duality.

STEDDIE JUST SCREAMS 22 pls and thank you <3
22. things you said after it was over Like some fucked up portrait of a groom with his blushing bride, Steve carried Eddie over the threshold of Hawkins Memorial. He knew what it had to look like, Eddie limp in his arms, both of them covered in blood. It all happened so fast after the first nurse spotted them, Steve getting hit with a barrage of questions, Nancy's calm, even voice a relief when she stepped up on his left side. Less than an hour ago, Steve had breathed "it's over" into a walkie. But it wasn't over. It wouldn't be over until Eddie was in the clear. "Steve?" Eddie murmured, hand shooting out from the gurney and grabbing hold of Steve's wrist before the hospital staff could wheel him away. And fuck, Steve couldn't believe Eddie was conscious even for a split second. His eyes, for all that they were hazy and unfocused, were such a rich shade of brown under the bright hospital lights. Steve stared into them and willed Eddie to live, goddammit. "That thing you said to me back at the trailer." Make him pay. "We did it, okay? We did it, Eddie." Eddie made a quiet noise, and Steve felt his fingers go lax and slide from his wrist. The next time Eddie touched him, Steve hoped he wasn't so cold.

NEXT WEEK on 3/14 the Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies is back at the illustrious Film Noir Cinema in Greenpoint with an event I'm super pumped about: Witchcraft & Media scholar Peg Aloi will analyze the presence of the Crone and Hag archetypes in popular culture. I personally requested this subject, and was thrilled that Peg agreed to do it. The Witch has long since been reclaimed as an avatar of female empowerment--particularly in the young, fashionable grrl power mode--but what about *witches of a certain age*? Recently, horror has seen a proliferation of images of frightful, predatory older women, drawing ambivalent reactions from audiences. Do these monstrous femmes always reflect a misogynistic attitude? Or might they sometimes suggest a return of the repressed, representing the special powers, wisdom, and righteous indignation of older women? I can't wait to hear what our guest will have to say, and I hope you'll join me next week to find out!

(author commentary that no one asked for about my Friday night lights au but its my page so I'm going to do what i want:
one of my favorite parts about writing clear eyes full hearts is the lack of loyalty to POV that this fic has. usually, I'm pretty consistent in that a fic is grounded in either remus's pov or sirius's pov (or in the case of moonchaser, james's) and will do like...bits and pieces of the others POV but otherwise its pretty firmly planted.
and clear eyes just, isn't. and part of that was me trying to mimick the feel of the television series this is based off of. i knew i wasn't going to make it twists and turns of drama after drama after drama and include all the characters they have in the series (e.g, so sorry, queen Tyra Collette is not in this fic), so i tried to embrace the idea of a third party camera just zooming around and following different characters. so we get james, and sirius and remus and coach potter and who knows who else is in store!
and it gets to be a tale of sweet lil romance, but also gets to be about community and football in a way that I've never really written before.)

She Will (Charlotte Colbert, 2021)
