More on characters dressing up for their cards to make you pull for them, with a focus on Shu

Yep! The characters at first try to do any aesthetic they can think of because they don´t yet know what your tastes are like. They´re all pretty nervous the first time, all dearly hoping that they managed to match your tastes well enough to endear themselves to you. Please, they would be absolutely overjoyed if you pulled for their cards!

They´re all kind of impatient with getting their turn finally because earlier on in the game your dia funds will probably be bigger so the chance that you might throw some pulls their way is higher. At the same time, coming later is an advantage because they´ll have some knowledge of what has or hasn´t worked, meaning that they can still change some things around in hopes of appealing to you.

Izumi and Arashi probably have an advantage over everyone else, being models and everything they´re confident in their abilities to pose well and bring out the best in them. Makoto has also modeled before but his bad experiences with it kind of hold him back from performing just as well as the other too :/

Anon, I´m always happy to talk about Valkyrie so thank you for the ask! Now let´s get one important thing out of the way: Shu takes great pride in his art and usually doesn´t care to appeal to a certain audience, instead only acting out on his own vision. So you must be very important to him for him to even think about taking your tastes into consideration when designing a new outfit to wear for his card. He´s usually so confident in what he does but he´s desperate enough for your approval to change up all he´s worked for so far, just to increase his chances with you.

And as you said, Shu is very careful and takes notes when he sees what cards you pull for and which ones are ignored by you. He´s got to keep that in mind but he does have the advantage over a lot of the other idols that he makes the costumes himself and thus can change them however he likes. A lot of the other units get their outfits tailored by someone else, some of them even by Anzu! Do you really think she´s going to give it her all when they want to use the outfits to impress you? She probably messes up on purpose while making the outfits kdjfdb

But Shu is so focused when making the outfits himself, he´s a perfectionist at heart and keeps changing things over and over if they don´t fit his vision 100%. He´s even harsher with himself because he knows he´ll have to be at his absolute best to win you over, which is his one goal in life. He deeply craves your affection so he goes all-out, likely pulling all-nighters just to make sure everything is absolutely perfect.

Mika offers to help him out but Shu quickly refuses, not wanting anyone to even touch the outfit he´s made so carefully. If it´s for an event with Valkyrie then I guess Mika can count himself lucky that he gets to wear such a wonderful outfit that will impress you. Shu can´t let you think he´s sloppy with his job because his unit mate looks way worse compared to him.

Oh, but can you imagine how much power you actually hold over him and his creations? Like, if you pull for pretty or elegant cards then Shu is in his element and knows what he needs to do. But what if you happen to pull for the silly Kohaku bee outfit or the catboy Ritsu card ( me af )? He´s going to be distraught at first because it´s so completely different from what Valkyrie usually wears, so does that mean you don´t like what they have put out so far?? Straight up panics but then realizes that what you think has priority so he throws himself right back into work to somehow try to top these two outfits.

They may be Crazy: b but Shu is going to make the better bee outfit 😤

Also yes, the poor photographer, you just know Shu has an exact picture in his mind that he won´t budge on no matter what, and the photographer is not allowed to go home until Shu is 100% satisfied. At this point you could call it a hostage situation jdfsf

Hunter Yui's relationship with the S boys ( Shu & Subaru)

Shu:

Honestly they size each other up the first day in the bathtub, and assume the worst. Shu isn't someone who is used to keep his guard up constantly against someone, especially some mortal girl. It doesn't matter who comes at him, he'll always triumph but he has a feeling if this girl and him threw down a proper spar, not only would he triumph but he'd emerge with a broken limb, perhaps even a fatal injury. It would heal of course, but he just couldn't figure out why his father would send such a woman to their household.

Strangely enough it seems that she doesn't have a fighting spirit, the first time he bites her, she flinches but it's almost as if she accepts the pain swaying into him, an enchanted fatigue overcoming her. Like she would rather pass out without a fight ( mind you he feels disrespected he even went out of his way to acknowledge her strength in his mind of course) in a vampires lap rather then be aware of the world around her.

He dislikes her, he can't read her and imagine why she's so fond of ayato, she doesn't try to hide she's a vampire hunter.But if confronted she tells his brothers the truth, even goes as far as to apologize to ayato for deceiving him regardless of the fact she didn't do so intentionally. He thinks it's an intelligent move on her part not openly stating hostility but not being suspicious. He's seen her interact with her father, and is conflicted further; her father doesn't seem to hate her if anything they seem care for another - she also doesn't find pleasure in killing, but she also doesn't seem to be against the Hunters objective of eradication of the demon race.

What puzzles him the most, is the sense of nostalgia he feels when he sees her sneak out like he did when he was young. Within the first couple of months she's managed out map out several escape routes but never follows through, she always comes back like an idiot. She reminds him too much of when he was better.

They don't grow close till her third year, once reiji departs. She starts off in the second grade, with the triplets but only laito moves up with her. Kanato at some point became a shut in and ayato failing second year wasn't a surprise. He catches her playing truant, to sneak out and smoke surprisingly enough he didn't even know she smoked.

They usually get paired up in classes (their surnames are close) the only class they didn't share was, languages and creative so it's fine. He kept his eye on her, with reiji's pride in ruin after her truth was revealed he had to take more charge around the household - but truthfully everyone knows she's just taken reiji's place in his life, whilst he gets his doctorate in makai.

He finds that he doesn't mind her stories he likes listening to her, they're friends? If he was drunk enough to admit it, they share exasperated looks in the lounge when ayato and Subaru start shit, they don't push each others boundaries, their conversations are him teasing her and the usual intellectual conversation about their future as the vampire king and the vampire hunter who's in a situationship ( trust he makes fun of her for this) with his brother. Ya know usual homie shit.

Some days when he gives into his memories he wishes it was her instead reiji when he was growing up, she would've understood his qualms, he isn't ungrateful for the childhood he had compared to his brothers but perhaps she would have understood being the golden goose isn't the best thing in the world

Subaru

Subaru is smitten, she's just so pretty to him and kind and she listens to him. Major Mommy issues ™ .

The first time they meet, he watches her in the Lounge interact with his brothers, he isn't much of a questions guy but this girl looks like the princesses his mom read him about when she was in a good mood, not to mention the scent she gives off is amazing, it's like a vampires dream come true not to mention she even has a good head on her keeping her distance from laito, and she isn't a ditz either but she isn't the headstrong type either. Like his nanny who'd dote on him but wouldn't force him into wearing a stupid cravat.

But realistically he thinks she's too naïve for this household, I mean look at her all frail and empathic towards them. However one day it comes to halt where she confronts him about his saviour complex, pointing out all the faults in his escape plan for her. He avoids her for weeks and yui feels guilty, she feels abandoned and she misses her dad, and her depressions getting worse and she took it all out on the boy.

Once she confronts him though, she explains to him why communication is so important as well as setting boundaries and if he really wants to be better it isn't her job to make him a better person. A real wake up call, halfway through he tries attacking her but as usual her defences are great and she proposes he joins a boxing club or something but a vampire one ya know. They have weekly skincare sessions where he talks and listens to her life, she ties his tie for prom, she buys him the boquet he forget in anxiousness at visiting his mother's grave after so long. He's still mean and pushes people away but everytime yui just laughs saying what else are 15 year old boys gonna do.

It helps it really does, Subaru grows he's open with why he feels what he does and she allows him to explore it, he makes a "friend group" at boxing after a while of yui nagging him. They are the definition of boys will be boys, all these rich vampire boys who just fuck around and box, and decide they're gonna bunk school to go the beach, make fun of rich old men, get girls, stay up wayy too late stealing traffic cones and Subaru doesn't mind he learns how to have a life outside of his family. He learns that if you are born into a burning house believing that the rest of the world is on fire is a myth.

It all comes to a halt when her dad comes to pick her up though... Although you guys are gonna have to wait for me to release more chapters for actual details.

And yeah regarding the bulletin board where Ibara probably put up a washing machine user manual something which I mentioned earlier. He put that thing up there but it's barely readable because the entire thing is just full of notes. Some of them aren't even laundry related. Rei leaving a "Big brother loves you <3" type note for Ritsu which has nothing to do with laundry he just wanted to have it stated again. There's also some post-it notes (the ones you can just slap onto surfaces idk if that's what they're called) and the washing machines just have some notes sticking to them at all times because why not those things have to go somewhere.

Well, my answer to this question is yes. Honestly, I heard before that the only boy who is a virgin is Yuma. But now that I have played the games and read all the other parts in the manga, I can confidently say that Yuma is not the only virgin boy in this story.

The first boy I introduce as a virgin besides Yuma is Shu. And I have a reason for this.

It is true that Shu is very perverted and always makes sexual jokes with Yui. I'm even somewhat sure that Shu has a more dirty mind than Laito. But we all know that Shu is lazy. Shu only makes these jokes when talking, but he has never decided to have sex with girls.

The reason may be laziness or that he didn't like to be attached to any girl before Yui. Shu was trying to avoid attachment and love so as not to get involved in trauma again.

But this is not my main reason. Pay attention to what Reiji said in the Shu's manga.

Reiji: the scent of both your body and blood has changed.....

In the previous episode, we saw that Shu and Yui were both naked on the bed, so I think they had sex the night before. Diaboys mentioned in many places that when humans lose their virginity, the smell of their blood changes. But does this also apply to vampires? Here are my personal opinions about the TGCF donghua S2 character designs!! (I don't have anything else to do with my life)

So, I've seen a lot of people hate on the new designs, especially on Qi Rong and Goushi Fang Xin's. I mean, they surprised me too, but I wouldn't necessarily say they are bad.

For Fang Xin (Xie Lian), his design and colors and stunning, it's just the mask that looked pretty weird to me, but I like how it's butterfly shaped. He's not too recognizable, so it'll do it.

For Qi Rong, yes, the colorful stripes, the purple lipstick, the little accesories, the neon green eyeliner are all absolutely needed and in character. Like, let's think about it, Qi Rong is probably one of the most chaotic and weird MXTX characters we could've met. The manhua version is a masterpiece, but the donghua is really...him. He would always comment on anybody and we also know that he is a born royalty, yet nobody said he's fancy or elegant. I'm pretty sure he'd have a terrible taste in outfits. While Xie Lian is elegant, simple and pretty restrained when it comes to outfits, our guy Qi Rong would have messy, greasy hair, unmatched clothes and jewellery, and absolutely zero sense in styling. He's technically an unintentionally funny, weird and stupid witch sitting in his own little cave with his "cheap son".

Now, let's take a look at Hua Cheng and Shi Qingxuan. Wake up, they are majestic!!

I adored Hua Cheng in his San Lang form. Our little guy looked absolutely adorable yet still like a grumpy teenage boy in love. His original form was also shown at the very end of S1, but honestly, his new design looks so much better. His hair got fluffier, and his features prettier. Also, I love how the edge of his eyepatch became more thin, it simply look cooler now!

Shu Qingxuan, my beloved, I literally love the whole design. I'm pretty sad the female version didn't get her pretty blue eyes, but she still looks as adorable as always. And the male version, it's perfect. He looks elegant, yet kind and adorable, like a true king/queen. Such a bestie material!!

Talking about Shi Qingxuan, Ming Yi is also just so so pretty. Altough I love the "dark 'n edgy Earth Master" vibe he gives off in the manhua, the dunghua version is (imo) better, we are talking about a god's apperance, after all. He's colorful, yet not too vibrant, which is pretty nice, most of the gods we can see there tend to dress colorfully in their own ways (it also makes it more visible that these people all come from different places, having their own traditional stuff).

And for Lan Qianqiu, he instantly became a Fengqing's kid in my eyes. For sure, this is not how I imagined him, I've got used to the dark hair and red accesories, but he looks really good, they did a great job with his design. No matter what, he'll always be a grumpy orange cat!

There´s so much charm to an oblivious reader when all of these crazy yanderes are swarming around them and trying to win their heart. So much potential for comedy in what would otherwise be a very grim and terrifying situation.

Honestly, I can´t really blame the reader though, I mean those swords really do look fun to wave around? Have you seen the regular spp for little romance that you get when you didn´t pick one of the cards that have a special one? It looks so cool and you can´t convince me otherwise. What am I supposed to do when I´m face-to-face with a really cool-looking sword, NOT use it?? Preposterous

And meanwhile, the Knights are just standing around you like.... what are you doing? Did what they just said completely go over your head or why are you acting so nonchalantly? They kind of kidnapped you a few minutes ago and yet you don´t care at all? They don´t know what to think nfsfn

Leo would definitely join you in swinging around the sword though, resulting in everyone else panicking because giving him a sword is not a good idea, especially when he´s so excited simply by you being around. Well, they´re at least happy that you think their props are cool

fnjlfl Shu and Mika would probably get excited that you´re so interested in their outfits! Shu especially spent a lot of time and effort to make them absolutely perfect so hearing your praise makes him very proud.
