It's so hard to pick a fave but I really loved all of them. I'm gonna go with Reki though, I really felt for him, you see this trope a lot of best friend introducing friend to X and they become amazing and friend who introduced them gets sidelined and it made me so happy that was actually explored. He's also just so cute with Langa!

Fave moments

But the whole hot springs/beach episode was pure serotonin. "Oh you brought the kids." Like god so good!!!

I adored all the ships! I loved Joe and Cherry's old married couple vibe. I still kind of dislike Adam purely for being a violent dick like yeah I get he's got trauma but come on man. He was brutal to the other skaters.

Reki and Langa have my heart though. They're so sweet. I just love the idea of Reki talking about skateboarding and explaining everything as he makes a skateboard and Langa just watching him with heart eyes.

Having said all that I think my absolute fave moment is with Reki and Langa in the shop when they get Sketchy to go on the skateboard. It's such a pure teenage boy moment and it made me laugh so much. Shipping is of course fun and I love it but I also just adore watching an anime where teenagers get to be teenagers and have fun. Like one of my other fave anime is K-on! And this had the same kind of feeling of wholesomeness. I'm so in love with it and excited for more!
